world for two main reasons.

30 years before He died.

He had a perfect
life of righteousness

perfect life of Jesus.

function of the Passover lamb.

is the perfect life of Jesus.

Satan and his angels
knew exactly who Jesus was

I know who He is, why He came.

He's going to live a perfect

that from happening."

And so, Satan now is going
to use four methods to try and

prevent Jesus from
living His perfect life

and from
offering His life for sin.

And so, now Satan is going
to be on the track of Jesus

What was method number one?

Method number one was
to attempt to kill Jesus

ready to kill Him.

offer His life voluntarily

to pay for the sin of sinners."

Satan also tried to
drown Jesus in a tempest.

Jesus was sleeping in the boat.

This was a storm out of season.

describes it as a massive storm

And of course,
Jesus calmed the storm.

Also, a mob tried to
push Jesus over a cliff.

says that Satan was in that mob.

angels disguised as human beings

throw Jesus over the cliff.

statements that Jesus made.

the ministry of Jesus

Kill Him before He

until the moment when He could

was to try and kill Jesus

Satan used was to try and infect

someone to redeem Him

the temptations of Jesus.

There's an easier way.

way of recovering what was lost.

this method of giving Jesus

had already fed 5000 people

So now the multitude,
instigated by Judas Iscariot,

I might say, tries to take Jesus
by force to make Him a king.

In other words, Satan is
saying, "Don't go to the cross.

There's a plan B,
there's a much easier plan,

a better plan for You."

He said, "I have
to go to the cross

to recover that which was lost,

was to distract Jesus from

these Greeks wanted Jesus

"Listen, the time has not come

The time has come for Me to die.
