Candidiasis! 00:01:34.90\00:01:37.30 Candida! Running rampant! It's just a bone concern, 00:01:37.80\00:01:39.31 yes, it is. You know, you know I travel, 00:01:39.32\00:01:41.17 one of the reasons why we do somebody's 00:01:41.18\00:01:42.58 problems on Abundant Living because in our 00:01:42.59\00:01:44.84 travels a lot of people would access or 00:01:44.85\00:01:47.08 mention about a particular disease or condition. 00:01:47.09\00:01:49.95 If we hear this condition over and over again 00:01:50.40\00:01:52.51 then we'll say we are gonna have a program 00:01:52.52\00:01:54.64 on this topic. So Candida, this is a 00:01:54.65\00:01:57.38 very prevalent disease and we are gonna do 00:01:57.39\00:02:00.23 within the next what, twelve minutes or so. 00:02:00.24\00:02:02.22 Alright! What exactly is Candidiasis? 00:02:03.27\00:02:05.56 Well believe it or not Candida is essentially a 00:02:06.04\00:02:08.85 fungus and a yeast that grows normally in a 00:02:08.86\00:02:13.21 natural floor of our system, as in the vagina 00:02:13.22\00:02:16.40 lining, our nails, our skin and throughout the 00:02:16.41\00:02:20.33 whole digestive system. So in other words folks 00:02:20.34\00:02:23.05 we all have Candida just like we all have, 00:02:23.59\00:02:26.84 let's say histamine. But when there is too 00:02:26.85\00:02:29.51 much histamine then a body 00:02:29.52\00:02:31.15 reacts in a negative way. So when there is 00:02:31.16\00:02:33.54 overgrowth of Candida then a body also reacts 00:02:33.55\00:02:37.24 in a negative way. So we all have this 00:02:37.25\00:02:39.26 naturally in our system. More prevalent in 00:02:39.57\00:02:43.42 women and children! Yeah it is more 00:02:43.43\00:02:45.22 prevalent in women as supposed to men. Okay. 00:02:45.23\00:02:48.09 More females are more prone to have this so we 00:02:48.10\00:02:50.38 are gonna talk about some of the things that 00:02:50.39\00:02:52.12 can be done to control Candida but we all have 00:02:52.69\00:02:55.57 it naturally. Different types, 00:02:55.58\00:02:57.36 what kind of types of Candidiasis, 00:02:57.37\00:03:00.41 I know it's not just one flat line name Candida? 00:03:00.76\00:03:03.33 There are different types of Candida, 00:03:03.66\00:03:04.97 when of course now person says, 00:03:04.98\00:03:06.43 I have Candida, okay; normally they are 00:03:06.44\00:03:08.12 talking about one type. The first type we deal 00:03:08.13\00:03:10.39 with the genitalia area or the vaginal area, 00:03:10.40\00:03:13.69 and this is one Candida area where people have that. 00:03:14.03\00:03:18.30 The other type is in the digestive system from 00:03:18.75\00:03:22.84 the mouth all the way down. 00:03:22.85\00:03:24.35 Of course Candida is also in digestive system. 00:03:24.77\00:03:27.47 So you have Candida in a GI track or the 00:03:27.48\00:03:29.75 Gastro Intestinal track. Then the third type is 00:03:29.76\00:03:32.71 where the infection spills over to the 00:03:32.72\00:03:34.48 bloodstream. Therefore, it affects every organ of 00:03:34.49\00:03:38.63 the body essentially. We call this Systemic 00:03:38.64\00:03:41.62 Candida; systemic meaning that it affects 00:03:42.30\00:03:44.95 the system. So it can effect the heart, 00:03:44.96\00:03:47.45 the lungs, the kidneys, the eyes, the brain, 00:03:48.03\00:03:51.27 throughout the whole system, 00:03:51.68\00:03:53.07 this is Systemic Candida. 00:03:53.08\00:03:54.76 So there are three different types where 00:03:55.11\00:03:56.83 basically locations of Candida, the vaginal 00:03:56.84\00:03:59.86 area, digestive system, and then we have 00:03:59.87\00:04:02.85 Systemic which affects the whole body. 00:04:03.21\00:04:05.12 So can I actually do, my understanding is 00:04:05.58\00:04:07.28 pinpointed to one specific area or be in 00:04:07.29\00:04:09.90 the entire body itself! Exactly! Can it be a 00:04:09.91\00:04:12.69 situation where so we have it let's say in the 00:04:12.70\00:04:14.94 vaginal area and also this is the mold, 00:04:14.95\00:04:17.90 does it basically just kind of hit one area? 00:04:17.91\00:04:19.99 Well you know, it can be the vaginal area in 00:04:20.00\00:04:21.89 other system too, okay, because you remember 00:04:21.90\00:04:23.45 if a person has Systemic Candida, okay, 00:04:23.46\00:04:25.45 it will be in several areas and also the 00:04:25.46\00:04:27.81 vaginal area is included in that system as well. 00:04:27.82\00:04:30.11 Okay, okay. So the urinary system, 00:04:30.12\00:04:32.92 you know digestive system, it can be a 00:04:33.65\00:04:36.07 whole host of areas where it can be. 00:04:36.08\00:04:37.94 But when people say I have Candida well we 00:04:38.37\00:04:40.94 need really pinpoint what area or what type 00:04:40.95\00:04:43.94 of Candida they have. Therefore we can go in 00:04:43.95\00:04:46.21 and do some natural protocols. 00:04:46.40\00:04:47.89 Okay, then the symptoms, I know you 00:04:48.31\00:04:50.29 want to find out what exactly 'cause sometime 00:04:50.30\00:04:52.29 now when you say the symptoms Curtis you 00:04:52.30\00:04:54.01 know people say things like I think I got that. 00:04:54.02\00:04:55.86 I think I got that. So, so let's breakdown the 00:04:56.11\00:04:58.71 symptoms of what someone can look for 00:04:58.72\00:05:00.87 if they think they might be candidate for Candida. 00:05:01.17\00:05:03.37 Okay. Let's go to our first graphic, 00:05:03.38\00:05:05.59 let's look at some of the symptoms of Candida. 00:05:05.60\00:05:07.62 Well, let's go to it right now. 00:05:08.14\00:05:09.24 Number one Genitalia, now again some of your 00:05:09.25\00:05:12.14 books will say cottage cheese is more of a 00:05:12.15\00:05:14.56 creamy white yogurt with clumps and 00:05:14.57\00:05:19.10 of course this creamy white surface can be 00:05:19.11\00:05:21.30 yellow which will be a sign of infection. 00:05:21.31\00:05:23.60 And of course underneath there if you 00:05:24.13\00:05:26.45 lift it up it can be a rare or raw looking, 00:05:26.46\00:05:29.55 it can have a sour smell to it or smell of beer or 00:05:30.16\00:05:34.43 a bread dough. So that's one of the 00:05:34.44\00:05:36.49 symptoms of Candida. Let's go to the second one. 00:05:36.50\00:05:39.02 Skin, now this can be a rash that would 00:05:40.08\00:05:42.42 be scaly and red. And it's usually raised. 00:05:42.43\00:05:46.20 And this could be through out the whole 00:05:46.85\00:05:49.17 system as well. And so, that's one of the signs 00:05:49.18\00:05:52.80 or symptoms of Candida in the skin area 00:05:52.81\00:05:55.51 also by the way the nails, the nails can be 00:05:55.52\00:05:58.65 red or purple as color and they can either start 00:05:58.66\00:06:01.39 moving away from the skin area. 00:06:02.10\00:06:03.99 So that can be a very drastic disease Candida, 00:06:04.31\00:06:07.80 some of these symptoms. Let's go to our third one. 00:06:08.04\00:06:10.02 The Mouth, now you can have foul breath. 00:06:11.23\00:06:13.42 Now of course some people have foul breath 00:06:13.43\00:06:15.39 don't have Candida but of course this is one of 00:06:15.40\00:06:17.94 the symptoms of Candida, foul breath. 00:06:17.95\00:06:19.87 But in addition to that also there can be a 00:06:20.23\00:06:22.93 burning sensation when you eat or swallow food. 00:06:22.94\00:06:26.78 So again this is another sign or symptom that 00:06:27.20\00:06:30.11 you might have Candida, foul breath along with 00:06:30.12\00:06:33.34 the burning sensation of eating or swallowing food. 00:06:33.35\00:06:37.06 Let's go to our last symptom there. 00:06:37.34\00:06:39.45 Digestive disturbances! Now again this dealing 00:06:40.34\00:06:43.32 with the digestive system you can have 00:06:43.33\00:06:45.48 bloating, flatulence, indigestion, there is 00:06:45.49\00:06:49.53 a whole host of problems dealing with 00:06:49.54\00:06:52.15 the digestive system when you have Candida 00:06:52.16\00:06:54.49 in the GI track. These are just some 00:06:54.50\00:06:56.65 of the problems or some of the symptoms when 00:06:56.66\00:06:58.96 a person has Candida. Now you don't 00:06:58.97\00:07:01.61 necessarily have to have all of these symptoms 00:07:01.62\00:07:03.80 but just several of these combined with some 00:07:04.34\00:07:06.63 other tests we're gonna talk about too which 00:07:06.64\00:07:08.65 will be conclusive that you may have what we 00:07:08.66\00:07:11.56 call Candida, and either one of the three types. 00:07:11.57\00:07:15.19 Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. 00:07:15.20\00:07:17.12 I know you saw that graphic; between all the 00:07:17.13\00:07:20.36 Cottage Cheese and the nails coming off half of 00:07:20.37\00:07:22.69 the skin and, it sounds so bad, if a person has 00:07:22.70\00:07:28.09 got all that's going on or just something that 00:07:28.10\00:07:30.33 going on, I will be run into somebody's doctor 00:07:30.34\00:07:33.28 or naturopath, somebody got to help 00:07:33.29\00:07:35.63 and even though I say that you know point 00:07:35.64\00:07:38.51 intended that there are people who do have 00:07:38.52\00:07:41.65 these kind of things going, that's true, 00:07:41.66\00:07:42.89 they don't know what to do or how to treat, 00:07:42.90\00:07:44.26 but this is definitely a case for talking to some 00:07:44.27\00:07:46.99 healthcare professional. Yeah, it really is. 00:07:47.49\00:07:49.44 It was some emergency protocol because again 00:07:49.45\00:07:52.78 this is something that is really drastic and it can 00:07:53.19\00:07:56.21 affect the whole system. Now we did not even 00:07:56.22\00:07:58.75 get into Systemic Candida, which would 00:07:58.76\00:08:02.39 affect the heart, the lungs, the kidneys and 00:08:02.40\00:08:06.02 the brain. That's a different 00:08:06.03\00:08:07.39 area altogether, so we just gonna talk about 00:08:07.40\00:08:09.88 vaginal or yeast infection and also 00:08:10.51\00:08:12.31 Candida which infect the entire digestive system. 00:08:12.90\00:08:15.56 Okay, so testing. Okay; and, yes there are some 00:08:16.38\00:08:23.42 ways that we can test to see if 00:08:23.43\00:08:25.10 a person has Candida. Now along with the 00:08:25.11\00:08:27.43 symptoms there are some other definitive 00:08:27.44\00:08:29.83 tests that a person can determine 00:08:29.84\00:08:31.48 if they have "Candida". Okay! Now first test is 00:08:31.62\00:08:35.21 the Positive Gram Stain. Now this is a test where 00:08:35.22\00:08:40.32 doctor would take a swab and swab the 00:08:41.06\00:08:43.01 vaginal area, the skin or the mouth which will 00:08:43.02\00:08:46.39 determine whether or not there or any 00:08:46.40\00:08:47.97 budding Candida cells present in those areas. 00:08:47.98\00:08:51.71 It's the Positive Gram Stain. 00:08:51.97\00:08:54.35 The other test is called simply Candida 00:08:54.95\00:08:57.68 Antibody Panel, where blood is drawn or 00:08:58.08\00:09:01.27 tissues cultures were drawn where they can 00:09:02.14\00:09:04.04 determine whether or not person 00:09:04.05\00:09:05.02 has Systemic Candida. So you have the Gram 00:09:05.03\00:09:08.25 Positive Stain, a swab, you know off the 00:09:08.64\00:09:10.98 vagina, mouth or the skin area. 00:09:10.99\00:09:13.78 And you have the Candida Antibody 00:09:14.06\00:09:16.39 Panel with blood will be drawn in 00:09:16.40\00:09:18.31 determining that; and along with the 00:09:18.32\00:09:20.47 symptoms too. Okay. So that way you have a 00:09:20.48\00:09:22.44 definitive way of determining whether or 00:09:22.45\00:09:24.10 not person has Candida because sometimes it's 00:09:24.11\00:09:27.00 overlooked and then maybe treating 00:09:27.01\00:09:28.82 something else such as Epstein-Barr Virus or 00:09:28.83\00:09:31.78 kind of Fatigue Syndrome or other 00:09:32.18\00:09:34.19 digestive upset where the person 00:09:34.20\00:09:37.20 actually has Candida. So that's why we need 00:09:37.21\00:09:40.49 to determine whether or not a person really has 00:09:40.50\00:09:42.81 Candida and those tests along with the 00:09:42.82\00:09:44.95 symptoms will be conclusive. 00:09:44.96\00:09:46.58 I know that Chronic Fatigue that sometimes 00:09:47.12\00:09:50.54 get definitely mixed up together with that Candida. 00:09:50.55\00:09:54.26 Well that's right, some of the same symptoms, 00:09:54.27\00:09:56.17 because you have entir feeling right. Okay, 00:09:56.18\00:09:59.24 now, now, now, now I know with that we want 00:09:59.60\00:10:01.56 to see about the growth, how does this Candida grow? 00:10:01.57\00:10:04.35 Okay how can reap? Now remember now we 00:10:04.70\00:10:07.16 all have Candida. Right! Okay, but when 00:10:07.17\00:10:10.23 a body has an over growth of Candida then 00:10:10.24\00:10:13.65 we have those lists of problems that we just 00:10:13.66\00:10:15.67 numerated sometime ago. Now let's go to our next 00:10:15.68\00:10:18.41 graphic and let's see what will invite Candida? 00:10:18.42\00:10:21.82 Let's go to our graphic. Number one, 00:10:22.18\00:10:23.85 a person taking Immunosuppressive 00:10:24.17\00:10:26.31 drugs be it due to cancer or even radiation 00:10:26.54\00:10:31.51 or any drug that will effect or alter the 00:10:31.87\00:10:35.64 immune system, where the immune system is 00:10:35.65\00:10:38.50 compromised then we are simply inviting Candida. 00:10:38.51\00:10:42.65 So any types of Immunosuppressive 00:10:43.03\00:10:45.37 drugs are notorious in inviting Candida. 00:10:45.38\00:10:48.40 Let's go to our next one. Corticosteroids! 00:10:48.77\00:10:52.04 Now this is long-term use. Now we had a problem 00:10:52.05\00:10:55.06 just a few weeks ago on Corticosteroids 00:10:55.07\00:10:57.44 a program entitled Alternative to Steroids, 00:10:57.74\00:11:01.02 but those who are taking steroids 00:11:01.26\00:11:02.84 particularly over the long haul. 00:11:03.02\00:11:05.11 And these are steroids where a person maybe 00:11:05.63\00:11:07.61 asthmatic and there maybe Inhaled Steroids 00:11:07.62\00:11:10.38 for the asthma problem. These people are more 00:11:10.39\00:11:13.10 susceptible in having Candida, 00:11:13.33\00:11:15.64 Corticosteroid for long term use. 00:11:15.97\00:11:18.52 Let's go to our next one, antibiotics! 00:11:18.76\00:11:21.45 Of course all antibiotics will invite Candida but 00:11:21.64\00:11:24.15 the main one is Tetracycline. 00:11:24.16\00:11:27.23 This is notorious in inviting Candida. 00:11:27.78\00:11:31.92 Now of course this drug is mainly used for acne 00:11:31.93\00:11:35.07 but again this will invite yeasts and fungus so 00:11:35.68\00:11:38.94 those who taken antibiotics and you 00:11:38.95\00:11:40.54 know as of late in magazines and 00:11:40.55\00:11:43.56 newspapers that people over prescribing 00:11:43.57\00:11:45.90 antibiotics that's what Candida is really on a 00:11:46.22\00:11:49.61 rise here as of late, but Tetracycline is the main 00:11:49.62\00:11:53.05 one of choice that will invite Candida. 00:11:53.06\00:11:55.90 Let's go to our last one, Increased Blood Sugar 00:11:56.25\00:11:59.78 in the blood stream. Of course now this 00:11:59.91\00:12:01.97 one includes your alcohol which will 00:12:01.98\00:12:03.71 increase blood sugar and also 00:12:03.72\00:12:06.29 those who are diabetic. Of course there's an 00:12:06.30\00:12:08.53 increase of blood sugar there so diabetics are 00:12:08.54\00:12:11.16 more prone to have Candida because of 00:12:11.17\00:12:14.39 increased blood sugar in a bloodstream. 00:12:14.40\00:12:16.90 So these are some of the ways that we can 00:12:17.25\00:12:18.69 simply invite Candida into the system. 00:12:18.70\00:12:21.85 Well now you that you have got all that news, 00:12:22.74\00:12:24.51 all that news, I know you are saying to 00:12:24.82\00:12:26.07 yourself okay so how do we control and or 00:12:26.08\00:12:29.14 keep from getting it. Okay 00:12:29.15\00:12:30.93 Let's go to our last graphic, how do we 00:12:31.33\00:12:33.53 control Candida? And that's the program's topic. 00:12:33.54\00:12:36.89 Number one, a low-carbohydrate 00:12:37.29\00:12:39.74 and food diet! Now again remember now 00:12:39.75\00:12:43.16 Candida thrives on sugar so that's refine 00:12:43.17\00:12:48.44 sugar or natural sugar, so thereby the diet had 00:12:48.45\00:12:52.88 to be eliminated of fruit and fruit juices. 00:12:52.89\00:12:56.68 I suggest about one month until we do some 00:12:57.78\00:13:01.23 other natural protocols would be enumerated or 00:13:01.24\00:13:04.24 shortly hereafter. Also a low carbohydrate 00:13:04.25\00:13:07.34 diet as well; of course when we eat carbohydrates 00:13:07.35\00:13:09.83 then of course carbohydrates turns into 00:13:09.84\00:13:11.87 glucose so we need a low carbohydrate diet as well. 00:13:12.26\00:13:15.02 Number two, let's do with that is Tea Tree 00:13:15.47\00:13:18.24 Oil in Aloe Vera Gel. Now I am gonna talk 00:13:18.25\00:13:22.44 about Number two for a little while so let's keep 00:13:23.02\00:13:26.61 in mind that number one Tea Tree Oil is an 00:13:26.62\00:13:29.57 essential oil, a very popular oil. 00:13:29.58\00:13:32.18 It is antibacterial and also antifungal. 00:13:32.84\00:13:37.31 Now this is what you do ladies, you take a tea 00:13:38.42\00:13:41.49 tree oil which you can get at any health food 00:13:41.50\00:13:43.57 store and put twenty five drops in a cup of 00:13:43.58\00:13:48.11 four ounces of aloe vera gel. 00:13:48.12\00:13:50.72 You will mix it up. Put in a tight container 00:13:51.47\00:13:55.35 seal tight and put it in the 00:13:55.84\00:13:57.42 refrigerator overnight. The next day you will 00:13:57.43\00:14:01.29 apply that to the genitalia area, 00:14:01.30\00:14:03.42 evening and morning. Now ladies of course 00:14:04.55\00:14:07.15 when you do that you must have some 00:14:07.16\00:14:08.77 painting liners, so protect yourself, 00:14:08.78\00:14:10.69 but this is a good way of controlling Candida. 00:14:11.01\00:14:14.10 Tea tree oil antibacterial, antifungal and 00:14:14.62\00:14:18.91 and aloe vera gel, twenty five drops of tea 00:14:18.92\00:14:21.19 tree oil in four ounces of aloe vera gel mix it 00:14:21.20\00:14:24.75 up and it will be great, you'll be surprised. 00:14:24.76\00:14:27.22 Alright, let's go to number three, 00:14:27.60\00:14:29.04 Pau d' arco and black walnut. 00:14:30.24\00:14:32.11 Pau d' arco is a herb from South America, 00:14:32.84\00:14:34.87 it is antifungal and it will simply kill yeast. 00:14:35.33\00:14:39.49 Also, black walnut is also antifungal as well, 00:14:40.18\00:14:43.72 the black walnut hull. These are the two herbs 00:14:44.06\00:14:48.00 probably head and shoulders above all 00:14:48.01\00:14:49.92 other herbs which will simply control Candida. 00:14:49.93\00:14:53.69 The third herb I can probably mention is 00:14:54.13\00:14:55.89 garlic, but again this is in a capsule form. 00:14:55.90\00:14:59.35 Now I know some people who actually 00:14:59.61\00:15:00.98 drink Pau d' arco. It comes from a tree 00:15:01.05\00:15:03.64 called Taheebo, Pau d' arco. 00:15:03.65\00:15:05.81 Well this is something that we can probably 00:15:06.06\00:15:07.75 take in a capsule form, and just follow the 00:15:07.99\00:15:10.60 instructions on there. This is two herbs 00:15:10.61\00:15:12.81 you can take together which will help to 00:15:12.82\00:15:15.37 control Candida, Pau d' arco and also the Black 00:15:15.38\00:15:19.26 Walnut Hull. And number four 00:15:19.55\00:15:22.22 Hygiene and Clothing! Again we need to 00:15:23.71\00:15:26.10 mention that again yeast thrives, or moist, 00:15:26.11\00:15:30.02 moisture and also warm.
