All right, 00:01:05.16\00:01:06.76 now this is a hot topic on diabetes, 00:01:06.77\00:01:08.86 I mean it is sizzling. 00:01:09.14\00:01:10.27 I think right now is now categorized as an epidemic, 00:01:10.98\00:01:14.03 yes. So, this is a topic that we need to talk about. 00:01:14.52\00:01:17.29 It's amazing how many people, 00:01:17.66\00:01:19.04 even though we have the diagnosis 00:01:19.54\00:01:20.91 of different people who have diabetes, okay, 00:01:21.34\00:01:22.98 a lot of people who actually have gone unchecked. 00:01:22.99\00:01:24.45 Right. And of course, 00:01:24.56\00:01:25.62 because we're talking about menopause 00:01:25.75\00:01:27.60 which is a whole series I've done on you know, 00:01:27.68\00:01:29.46 menopause heart disease, osteoporosis, cancer. 00:01:29.82\00:01:32.34 Now, we're moving over weight gain, weight gain. 00:01:33.30\00:01:35.30 And now we're talking about diabetes 00:01:35.39\00:01:36.93 and I guess they're trying to, trying to, 00:01:37.01\00:01:38.38 they wondering to themselves was diabetes 00:01:38.81\00:01:40.67 and menopause have in common. Yeah. 00:01:40.83\00:01:43.45 But let's before we get into the whole issue of diabetes, 00:01:43.46\00:01:46.09 let's do like recap because there might be 00:01:46.37\00:01:48.02 someone watching a woman for the first time, 00:01:48.03\00:01:49.70 for the first time okay. 00:01:49.71\00:01:50.68 One of the things that so a key is that a menopause is basically 00:01:51.33\00:01:54.98 a life change that a woman goes through, 00:01:55.58\00:01:58.46 although a lot of women suffer tremendously from menopause, 00:01:59.23\00:02:02.95 it does not have to be that way. 00:02:03.22\00:02:04.49 And most of it when I found, 00:02:04.88\00:02:06.25 when I do my research and when I've gone out 00:02:06.34\00:02:07.60 and spoken is that a lot of women just are not informed. 00:02:07.61\00:02:10.70 And knowing what are some of the ways 00:02:11.05\00:02:12.68 in which they can be able to control it 00:02:12.75\00:02:14.04 and you're saying control like what? 00:02:14.48\00:02:15.67 Like hot flashes, mood swings, 00:02:15.90\00:02:17.88 your temperament, you're having problem with weight gain. 00:02:18.82\00:02:22.13 Lets see, memory loss, it sounds good. 00:02:23.12\00:02:25.09 The vaginal dryness, mood swings, 00:02:25.10\00:02:26.80 nights sweats all of those things, yeah. 00:02:26.91\00:02:28.68 Other things that she is suffering from. Okay. 00:02:29.00\00:02:30.26 And when she suffers, the whole family suffers, 00:02:30.27\00:02:32.93 the husband and the children, 00:02:32.95\00:02:34.29 the cat and the dog, everybody. 00:02:34.70\00:02:36.60 Everybody is included, okay. 00:02:36.61\00:02:38.00 But now let's getting to some definitions here now again, 00:02:38.97\00:02:41.70 what is diabetes? 00:02:41.80\00:02:43.11 'Cause you want us explain what is menopause. 00:02:43.12\00:02:45.13 What is diabetes? 00:02:45.44\00:02:46.41 Well, when we talk about diabetes, 00:02:46.63\00:02:47.90 now we're talking about the blood glucose levels. Okay. 00:02:47.91\00:02:50.22 When we eat our food it changes to blood glucose, 00:02:50.23\00:02:52.94 the glucose of course is in the bloodstream 00:02:53.05\00:02:55.37 and in order for that, 00:02:55.54\00:02:56.72 that glucose to get into the cell, 00:02:56.84\00:02:58.76 then we're talking about, 00:02:59.02\00:02:59.99 we need to have insulin coming from the pancreas. Okay. 00:03:00.00\00:03:02.64 God designed it in that way, that insulin comes in, 00:03:02.73\00:03:04.92 is able to grab a whole of that glucose 00:03:05.02\00:03:06.95 and take us straight into the cell. Okay. 00:03:07.24\00:03:08.88 Now, here we go, where we have a situation 00:03:08.89\00:03:10.54 where either there will be blood sugar level is so high, 00:03:10.60\00:03:14.38 the insulin cannot help it 00:03:14.43\00:03:15.68 and or there's a problem with the insulin out there, 00:03:15.98\00:03:19.76 which is gonna be the case when we talk about in our show today, 00:03:20.02\00:03:22.20 where the insulin is actually available 00:03:22.40\00:03:23.72 and it's too much insulin. Okay. 00:03:24.12\00:03:25.59 All things going wrong or something is going on right. 00:03:25.60\00:03:27.29 I want to kind of go back also before we hit the diabetes 00:03:27.84\00:03:30.37 about the fact that menopause starts around the age of 51, 00:03:30.48\00:03:34.16 there are times in which a woman can go to menopause 00:03:34.49\00:03:36.83 where she goes a lot younger. 00:03:36.96\00:03:38.46 It can start as early as the 30s, 00:03:38.83\00:03:40.24 believe it or not, now I'm gonna tell you how it does that. 00:03:40.25\00:03:42.24 If a woman has like lets say, 00:03:42.68\00:03:44.14 a young women has a breast cancer, 00:03:44.62\00:03:46.43 she will have to have chemotherapy 00:03:46.78\00:03:48.11 or radiation treatment, 00:03:48.12\00:03:49.14 automatically will set her hormones alive, 00:03:49.42\00:03:51.88 cause some problem for immune system 00:03:52.08\00:03:53.40 she'll have to, she'll be in menopause. 00:03:53.66\00:03:55.29 Also hysterectomy, she might have-to-have a hysterectomy, 00:03:55.79\00:03:59.27 where her ovaries have been removed, 00:03:59.28\00:04:00.46 that's one of the major houses for those hormones. 00:04:00.78\00:04:03.28 So, she automatically will go into some type of a menopause. 00:04:03.58\00:04:07.47 When I say, I meant treatment, 00:04:07.62\00:04:08.59 some type of treatment. Okay, 00:04:08.60\00:04:09.92 for those ovaries, okay, total hysterectomy. 00:04:09.93\00:04:12.09 Now, we're talking ovaries 00:04:12.23\00:04:13.75 and the uterus has been removed, total chaos, 00:04:13.78\00:04:16.69 now because if she is not treated 00:04:17.04\00:04:18.39 it's gonna be a lot of problems, it's gonna go on from that. 00:04:18.64\00:04:20.81 So, all of these things together gives us 00:04:21.15\00:04:24.00 this whole issue of menopause, okay, okay. 00:04:24.18\00:04:26.58 From 30 on down anything. 00:04:26.92\00:04:29.50 I think they're living longer now so. 00:04:29.51\00:04:30.95 They're living a lot longer. 00:04:30.96\00:04:31.93 So, a women can experience menopause up until 60s 00:04:31.94\00:04:34.06 and even 70s from years of age, 00:04:34.07\00:04:35.73 for a longer, yeah, for longer period of time. Okay, 00:04:35.77\00:04:37.38 now what about some screening now, 00:04:37.49\00:04:38.76 how can a person be screened for diabetes, 00:04:38.77\00:04:40.54 we cover this before, but just we're a recap? 00:04:40.67\00:04:42.55 One of the thing we've been saying is so key, 00:04:42.66\00:04:44.63 and I can't emphasize this enough, 00:04:44.79\00:04:46.30 and I say to my sisters and I think all my sisters 00:04:46.39\00:04:49.19 everywhere that's going through the menopause issue. 00:04:49.20\00:04:51.07 That we are a lot of times when things happen to us, 00:04:51.61\00:04:53.45 we call another girlfriend up or sister 00:04:53.46\00:04:55.13 or someone and say, what are you doing? 00:04:55.28\00:04:56.81 And then we saw quoting things back and forth. 00:04:57.14\00:04:58.78 I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for you 00:04:59.13\00:05:02.14 to have a blood screening or we call saliva screening. 00:05:02.29\00:05:05.42 These are two tests, they're called 00:05:05.74\00:05:07.32 Follicles Stimulating Hormonal Test 00:05:07.55\00:05:10.08 and a Luteinising Hormonal Test. 00:05:10.44\00:05:12.50 FSH, Follicles Stimulating Hormone, 00:05:12.98\00:05:16.12 LH Luteinising Hormone. 00:05:16.43\00:05:18.34 These tests can be done at your doctor's office, 00:05:18.77\00:05:20.97 and all you have to do is tell your doctor. 00:05:21.70\00:05:22.98 If you can't remember those words just say, 00:05:23.16\00:05:24.62 I need the hormonal test on me doctor, 00:05:24.82\00:05:26.87 so that I can see where I stand 00:05:27.22\00:05:28.48 as far as my estrogen, 00:05:28.65\00:05:29.83 progesterone, testosterone. 00:05:30.03\00:05:32.09 These are the key hormones that can cause problems, 00:05:32.19\00:05:35.58 one can be too high, too low, 00:05:35.71\00:05:37.07 not enough, whatever is going on, 00:05:37.40\00:05:38.73 and once they do the diagnosis, 00:05:39.05\00:05:40.57 you can take this information to what we call 00:05:40.95\00:05:43.12 a compound pharmacist, 00:05:43.41\00:05:45.32 we like them because the fact they do 00:05:45.93\00:05:47.57 all natural modalities. Okay. 00:05:47.81\00:05:49.73 Compound pharmacists and these pharmacists 00:05:49.94\00:05:52.27 are the once who will take your blood 00:05:52.47\00:05:53.66 work up or the saliva work up, 00:05:53.67\00:05:55.64 and they will let you know where you stand, okay. 00:05:55.77\00:05:57.56 And they will actually do a soy based prescription, okay. 00:05:57.71\00:06:01.60 A natural prescription that would 00:06:01.77\00:06:03.48 actually be something that can help. Okay, 00:06:03.49\00:06:05.19 compound, we're gonna get into that 00:06:05.48\00:06:06.46 later on to compound pharmacists, yes. 00:06:06.70\00:06:08.46 There's even a website we probably give 00:06:08.97\00:06:10.26 at the end of this program 00:06:10.35\00:06:11.32 for the compound pharmacists or international. 00:06:11.52\00:06:13.48 Now, what about hormones? 00:06:13.96\00:06:15.27 Now, we're dealing with menopause and diabetes, 00:06:15.37\00:06:17.15 what role does the hormones 00:06:18.14\00:06:19.43 play in relationship to diabetes? 00:06:19.61\00:06:21.67 Let's, let's get into that. 00:06:22.17\00:06:23.14 When we look at the whole issue of hormones period, 00:06:23.18\00:06:26.72 every single tissue, almos every tissue 00:06:26.94\00:06:28.78 in the body has a link to the hormones levels. 00:06:28.79\00:06:32.04 So, once again when the women's going through menopause, 00:06:32.53\00:06:34.89 the hormones are going awry or it's not enough, 00:06:34.99\00:06:36.95 too lot, too high, 00:06:37.06\00:06:38.03 too low something we say, no one size fits all. Okay. 00:06:38.04\00:06:40.76 Then we're now talking about the insulin level. 00:06:40.84\00:06:42.73 Somehow this insulin resistance has to do with the fact 00:06:43.20\00:06:47.07 that before we used to talk about for diabetes 00:06:47.19\00:06:49.23 that it was too much sugar in the blood. Okay. 00:06:49.30\00:06:51.15 So, the insulin comes out and it's not able 00:06:51.16\00:06:52.90 to just incorporate all that glucose in. 00:06:52.91\00:06:54.76 How about now somehow in metabolism, 00:06:55.04\00:06:57.84 she might be because of her diet. 00:06:58.21\00:06:59.91 She's having a problem where too much insulin is coming in. 00:07:00.40\00:07:03.55 Now, this is called insulin resistance to the fact 00:07:03.99\00:07:07.60 that it's more insulin coming in, 00:07:07.72\00:07:10.00 the glucose is already going into the cell. Okay. 00:07:10.85\00:07:13.39 But the insulin is now still in the bloodstream. Okay. 00:07:13.40\00:07:16.02 Now, we got insulin in the bloodstream. 00:07:16.03\00:07:17.37 All right. And somehow the cell is sending off 00:07:17.41\00:07:20.48 signals more insulin, more insulin, 00:07:20.74\00:07:22.43 but the body doesn't really need more insulin. 00:07:22.56\00:07:24.08 So the signals are all going awry. Okay, 00:07:24.13\00:07:26.99 so now this is a term where you may have 00:07:27.02\00:07:28.97 read in medical journals or magazines about 00:07:28.98\00:07:31.01 the term insulin resistant, insulin resistant, 00:07:31.02\00:07:34.16 this is how it's resistant to the insulin, 00:07:34.17\00:07:35.31 this is what's happening. 00:07:35.32\00:07:36.29 So therefore glucose remains outside of the cell, 00:07:36.40\00:07:39.09 that's one reason why we're simply tired 00:07:39.53\00:07:41.47 because the glucose not going to the self energy. 00:07:41.70\00:07:43.90 One of things goin on here too Curtis, 00:07:44.37\00:07:46.05 and is a term that we call Hyperinsulinemia, 00:07:46.06\00:07:50.42 Hyperinsulinemia and that's exactly what that is, 00:07:51.00\00:07:53.62 too much insulin is now in the bloodstream. Okay. 00:07:53.63\00:07:56.02 And it's not because of some kind of signaling. 00:07:56.03\00:07:57.87 Now believe it or not, 00:07:58.15\00:07:59.12 this is a problem even for healthy women. 00:07:59.38\00:08:01.87 Menopausal women specifically 44% of women 00:08:02.64\00:08:07.12 are actually insulin resistant or have Hyperinsulinemia. Okay, 00:08:07.47\00:08:12.46 44%. And these are postmenopausal women. Okay. 00:08:12.55\00:08:16.29 I like postmenopausal women. Okay. 00:08:16.48\00:08:17.88 So, now let's dealt with nutrition now, okay, 00:08:18.10\00:08:21.89 what part does nutrition play in this whole roll 00:08:21.90\00:08:24.51 as far as menopause, diabetes, let's talk about nutrition. 00:08:24.52\00:08:27.78 First of all, lets talk about 00:08:28.35\00:08:29.57 how she might get to this way. Okay. 00:08:29.62\00:08:31.26 Simple carbohydrates, sugars, candy, 00:08:33.08\00:08:36.61 cookies, cakes, pies, white sugar, white flour. 00:08:36.95\00:08:41.73 Honey, you're really stressing out 00:08:43.36\00:08:45.42 a whole lot of people, you said cookies, 00:08:45.43\00:08:46.75 cakes and pies. Yes. 00:08:46.76\00:08:47.79 Now, now. Refined. Refined. 00:08:48.09\00:08:51.44 And the girls know what I'm talking about. 00:08:51.74\00:08:53.40 Yeah, We like to eat. 00:08:53.85\00:08:54.82 somehow even for females we have just thing like 00:08:54.98\00:08:57.68 those are comfort zone foods. Okay. 00:08:58.03\00:09:00.04 You know, when we've had a hard day, 00:09:00.05\00:09:01.27 we're stressed out, we're all worked over, 00:09:01.28\00:09:03.13 it's easy for us to a whole bag of cookie 00:09:03.71\00:09:06.24 and eat two or three pies or not pies, but slices. Okay, 00:09:06.54\00:09:10.32 now these are health cookies or. No, no, no, no 00:09:10.58\00:09:13.19 healthful store cookie? we're talking about 00:09:13.20\00:09:14.17 what causes the problem with that insulin, 00:09:14.18\00:09:15.22 so this is poor diet. Refined products, 00:09:15.23\00:09:17.98 refined flour okay, 00:09:18.05\00:09:19.47 And, and, and refined sugar, 00:09:19.72\00:09:21.09 refined sugar, okay, those ingredients. 00:09:21.10\00:09:22.80 And the more stressed out we become, 00:09:22.99\00:09:23.96 the more we eat these things. Okay. 00:09:23.97\00:09:25.21 Because they just feel so good, they taste so good, 00:09:25.22\00:09:27.17 they smell is real good, but they're not good, 00:09:27.18\00:09:29.81 they're bad, okay. Okay. 00:09:30.26\00:09:31.67 And these are problems for insulin because once again 00:09:31.75\00:09:34.26 when we eat stuff like that the refined foods. Okay. 00:09:34.37\00:09:36.43 It automatically sends that sugar right up high, 00:09:36.44\00:09:39.17 way up high, the Glycemic levels rises 00:09:39.35\00:09:41.52 and here comes the insulin. Okay. 00:09:41.77\00:09:43.16 The insulin, this is abnormal, 00:09:43.17\00:09:44.66 because the insulin is constantly coming out. 00:09:44.67\00:09:46.20 The sugar levels are constantly going up. Okay. 00:09:46.57\00:09:48.01 We got the sky rocketing, 00:09:48.20\00:09:49.22 we're feeling good for a heart beat, 00:09:49.23\00:09:50.24 then we go, whew! 00:09:50.25\00:09:51.25 And why do we go down, Curtis? 00:09:52.13\00:09:53.23 Why do we just get so depressed? 00:09:53.37\00:09:55.48 Well, I mean you know, 00:09:55.49\00:09:56.46 again the sugar content it lower the immune system, 00:09:56.47\00:09:58.83 it compromise the immunities. Right. 00:09:59.00\00:10:00.34 So, of course we're fatigue, we're already tired, right, 00:10:00.35\00:10:02.98 because there's not enough 00:10:02.99\00:10:03.96 glucose going through the self energy, 00:10:03.97\00:10:05.35 so that's why most people who are diabetic are tired anyway. 00:10:05.45\00:10:08.59 So, in this compounds of situation 00:10:09.13\00:10:10.64 with the diet to the lifestyle, 00:10:10.65\00:10:12.16 not going to bed early, 00:10:12.46\00:10:13.96 so we're sleeping in the day time, 00:10:13.97\00:10:16.46 while we're napping and we're just simply exhausted. 00:10:16.47\00:10:18.86 The body is not have enough time to rest to refuel yourself. 00:10:18.87\00:10:22.42 Now, we did, I did diet, 00:10:22.77\00:10:24.02 I did sugar, but you know, you got do fat. 00:10:24.03\00:10:26.35 What does fat do to the cell? Okay. 00:10:27.57\00:10:29.70 What is fat? Well, well oh! 00:10:30.54\00:10:31.65 You're asking me the question? Yes, I am. 00:10:31.66\00:10:32.86 Oh! Okay, fat actually quotes the cell, 00:10:32.87\00:10:36.76 therefore it's hard for the glucose 00:10:37.03\00:10:38.70 to go into the self energy 00:10:38.71\00:10:39.90 because of so much fat around there. 00:10:39.91\00:10:41.21 That's why because the increase of obesity, 00:10:41.54\00:10:44.47 there's also increase of diabetes, 00:10:44.98\00:10:46.70 they go hand-in-hand, 00:10:47.13\00:10:48.10 there's a direct correlation because of that. 00:10:48.11\00:10:49.98 So of course, and this is Type II diabetes. Right. 00:10:50.28\00:10:52.76 Now, Type I is different. 00:10:52.96\00:10:54.10 Usually a person with Type I is usually thin, 00:10:54.57\00:10:57.91 there's a different scenario of course, anatomy, physiology. 00:10:58.39\00:11:00.77 For a Type II diabetic is usually overweight. Right. 00:11:01.06\00:11:04.66 Because of the fat around the cell 00:11:04.67\00:11:06.01 and the glucose can't get any self energy. 00:11:06.24\00:11:07.77 Now, let's go to some controlling factor, 00:11:08.15\00:11:10.06 let's go to our first graphic, okay, 00:11:10.07\00:11:11.60 before our time runs out, some controlling factors. 00:11:11.63\00:11:13.56 This is what you could do, ladies and gentlemen as well. 00:11:13.69\00:11:16.16 Number one, we can't control our diet, 00:11:16.86\00:11:18.96 a plant-based diet, incorporate their fruits 00:11:19.17\00:11:22.27 and their vegetables and the whole grains. 00:11:22.28\00:11:23.88 This is something that we can't control ourselves. 00:11:24.21\00:11:26.55 Number two, also activity levels, 00:11:26.95\00:11:30.23 again it's simply amazing. 00:11:30.41\00:11:32.04 We had a program just on physical activity 00:11:32.05\00:11:34.94 and glucose levels. 00:11:35.28\00:11:36.94 When we do some type of aerobic type activity 00:11:37.23\00:11:39.90 for at least 30 minutes, 00:11:40.24\00:11:41.47 glucose moves into the self energy 00:11:41.95\00:11:44.27 without the aid of insulin, 00:11:44.45\00:11:46.66 and it last up to several hours. 00:11:46.94\00:11:48.95 So activity level is very efficacious 00:11:49.02\00:11:51.40 for controlling those glucose levels. 00:11:51.41\00:11:53.80 And number three, 00:11:54.10\00:11:55.07 also want to avoid any unhealthy habits, 00:11:55.18\00:11:58.31 such as alcohol, 00:11:58.62\00:11:59.99 which will increase the blood sugar content, 00:12:00.00\00:12:02.33 and also getting proper rest, 00:12:02.49\00:12:04.72 caffeine, a fresh air, 00:12:05.23\00:12:06.20 the caffeine, the sunlight. 00:12:06.21\00:12:07.93 Sunlight is excellent for those who are diabetic, 00:12:08.69\00:12:11.11 you take your glucose level 00:12:11.59\00:12:12.94 and then you go out into the sunlight, 00:12:12.95\00:12:14.38 most of your skin exposed, make sure it's clean and dry, 00:12:14.61\00:12:17.46 so we don't get sun burn. 00:12:17.47\00:12:18.56 Come back and take the glucose levels again, 00:12:19.08\00:12:21.15 your glucose levels will be down just by sunlight. Right. 00:12:21.37\00:12:26.77 So, good exercise, fresh air, 00:12:26.78\00:12:28.59 sunlight, aerobic type activity, 00:12:28.71\00:12:30.78 these are some of the healthy habits 00:12:31.20\00:12:32.46 that we can do, and we can control. 00:12:32.47\00:12:33.80 You know, we said this before on our show, 00:12:34.17\00:12:35.15 and I will say it again, 00:12:35.16\00:12:36.13 the sun on you, outside, 00:12:36.37\00:12:38.99 and the Son of God in you. Okay, 00:12:39.49\00:12:42.70 a good mental attitude. Good mental attitude. Okay. 00:12:42.71\00:12:44.96 Soy, you made a comment about that plant-based, 00:12:45.64\00:12:47.43 you want to make sure we emphasize once again 00:12:47.44\00:12:49.26 soy isoflavones which has Dizene and also the Genistein. 00:12:49.27\00:12:55.54 Genistein combination, it needs to, 00:12:55.73\00:12:57.45 basically we had to have an amylase, 00:12:57.92\00:13:00.07 an amylase and which is an amylase in the mouth 00:13:00.61\00:13:03.55 to help break down the complex starches. 00:13:03.56\00:13:06.24 So that amylase is present 00:13:06.55\00:13:08.99 in the soy products as well. Okay. 00:13:09.00\00:13:10.93 Very good for controlling the glucose levels 00:13:10.94\00:13:13.34 and you said plant-based. Now, we're talking fiber. Right. 00:13:13.56\00:13:16.96 Fiber actually slows down 00:13:17.20\00:13:19.42 the whole mechanism of glucose staying at a normalcy. Right. 00:13:19.43\00:13:23.42 And also slows down the rate of insulin coming into system. 00:13:23.49\00:13:26.41 Excellent, excellent. 00:13:26.42\00:13:27.39 Here we go, God know he was doing alright. 00:13:27.40\00:13:28.83 He knew what he was doing, just got to pay attention. 00:13:28.84\00:13:30.42 Exactly, just follow His plan you'll be all right. 00:13:30.43\00:13:32.12 Well, lets talk for a minute about, 00:13:32.27\00:13:33.68 lets say some other protocols we can get into. 00:13:33.69\00:13:36.03 Number one is that, once woman even thinks that she might have, 00:13:36.40\00:13:39.32 should have his check up done also, 00:13:39.33\00:13:40.94 but when she thinks she might be having a problem with diabetes, 00:13:41.27\00:13:43.97 she wants to have a glucose screen done. 00:13:43.98\00:13:45.88 And this is a test that's done, basically you fast 00:13:46.25\00:13:49.82 and then they give you a glucose like a sugar water, 00:13:50.27\00:13:52.52 and then he take your glucose level. 00:13:52.79\00:13:53.99 And they can find out whether you have diabetes 00:13:54.46\00:13:56.01 basically from that test alone. 00:13:56.02\00:13:57.63 But then, what about a control factor, Curtis, 00:13:57.99\00:13:59.70 another control factor for her, 00:13:59.71\00:14:01.35 while she is doing a soy and she is doing a good diet 00:14:02.17\00:14:04.79 is there other things on the market. 00:14:04.80\00:14:06.15 Well, you're talking about herbal medicine? 00:14:06.67\00:14:07.74 Yes, yes. Yeah, various herbal medicine there, out there 00:14:07.75\00:14:09.87 and we talked about this again 00:14:09.88\00:14:11.51 on several programs is called Gymnema Sylvestre. 00:14:11.52\00:14:15.20 Now this is with a G, Gymnema Sylvestre 00:14:15.69\00:14:18.22 it's a aerobatic herb. 00:14:18.23\00:14:19.30 Meaning that it comes from India 00:14:19.63\00:14:20.86 and this has been research for the many decades. 00:14:21.28\00:14:24.59 Very efficacious for those who are Type I and the Type II. 00:14:24.83\00:14:28.75 Gymnema Sylvestre and looking at 400 mg per day, 00:14:29.00\00:14:32.06 this is a capsule form 00:14:32.07\00:14:33.40 and you can get at any healthful store. 00:14:33.82\00:14:35.52 It will simply increase the size 00:14:35.53\00:14:37.94 and the number of the beta cells inside your pancreas. 00:14:38.17\00:14:41.25 So it is very efficacious for those who want to lets say, 00:14:41.73\00:14:44.74 lessen their insulin production. Right. 00:14:44.75\00:14:46.64 Insulin medication or also 00:14:46.96\00:14:48.71 or medication with diabetes, Gymnema Sylvestre. 00:14:48.72\00:14:51.94 I wanna remind you once again on Abundant Living, 00:14:52.05\00:14:53.64 even when we talk about herbal medicines, 00:14:53.74\00:14:55.55 somehow we get this thing in our mind, 00:14:56.02\00:14:57.58 I guess what, maybe I can take this Gymnema Sylvestre 00:14:58.20\00:15:00.76 at the fact that I don't have diabetes, 00:15:00.77\00:15:02.97 I'm prevented. Yeah, no, no. 00:15:02.98\00:15:04.96 And also I now have diabetes 00:15:05.44\00:15:07.29 I'm gonna take a whole lot of Gymnema Sylvestre 00:15:07.64\00:15:09.20 because that will help to control it. 00:15:09.44\00:15:10.61 Now, we say a lot of things together, 00:15:10.83\00:15:12.25 we talked about exercise, we talked about the diet, 00:15:12.26\00:15:14.42 we talked about the protocol 00:15:14.76\00:15:16.68 as far as what we're supposed to have, 00:15:16.69\00:15:18.54 all in combination and this is all things together. Right. 00:15:18.68\00:15:21.25 Not just one specific thing. That's right. 00:15:21.26\00:15:22.44 We'd always make that point. 00:15:22.63\00:15:23.60 You know, I can see the emails coming in, 00:15:23.61\00:15:25.88 and you know I'll just take a Gymnema Sylvestre 00:15:26.04\00:15:27.48 and keep eating mine cookies, cakes and pies okay. 00:15:27.49\00:15:30.01 I know, I know. 00:15:30.02\00:15:30.99 No, exercise just popped a capsule in my mouth. 00:15:31.00\00:15:32.14 Let's go to review them. 00:15:32.91\00:15:33.88 Yeah, let's go to our last graphic. 00:15:33.89\00:15:35.26 This is the summary, ladies, and summary number one, 00:15:35.27\00:15:38.54 whole grains try to incorporate 00:15:38.55\00:15:40.22 whole grains into your daily diet. 00:15:40.67\00:15:42.48 This is good for those 00:15:42.73\00:15:43.70 who do not even have diabetes or menopause, 00:15:43.71\00:15:45.55 it's just go to have this particular food 00:15:45.73\00:15:48.70 in your diet, whole grains. 00:15:48.71\00:15:49.79 Number two, also soy foods. 00:15:50.24\00:15:52.59 Now, soy foods is excellent for diabetes 00:15:52.90\00:15:55.33 and other menopausal symptoms as well 00:15:55.48\00:15:57.93 this is very excellent for that, 00:15:57.94\00:15:59.22 lot of good or sound clinical studies on soy foods. 00:15:59.54\00:16:02.36 Number three, soluble fiber. 00:16:02.82\00:16:05.47 Now, soluble fiber is your apples, 00:16:05.70\00:16:07.45 your legumes and your oats and citrus fruits. 00:16:07.87\00:16:11.15 Those in particular will help to 00:16:11.39\00:16:13.59 normalize glucose levels in a person's system. 00:16:13.60\00:16:17.51 And at number four are herbal medicine. 00:16:17.80\00:16:20.35 We mentioned about Gymnema Sylvestre. 00:16:20.52\00:16:22.71 This is the capsule form of 400 mg per day 00:16:23.66\00:16:26.83 for Type I or Type II diabetes, very good for that. 00:16:27.02\00:16:30.18 And I believe we have a last one, 00:16:30.58\00:16:31.93 number five is glucose monitored, 00:16:31.94\00:16:34.37 make sure that you get your glucose monitor 00:16:34.38\00:16:36.76 on a daily basis, 00:16:36.77\00:16:37.92 so that way we start doing these protocols, 00:16:38.27\00:16:40.46 then you'll be able to lessen your medication 00:16:40.78\00:16:43.81 with the help of your physician. 00:16:43.82\00:16:45.34 Well, of course this is a hot subject. Yes, it is. 00:16:46.37\00:16:48.25 And I think that once again, I know, 00:16:48.26\00:16:50.73 even in my neighborhood 00:16:50.74\00:16:51.77 there's a lot of women going through menopause. 00:16:51.78\00:16:53.68 And to have menopause 00:16:53.91\00:16:55.16 and have all the side effects to go with it, 00:16:55.17\00:16:56.78 then to be plagued with diabetes along with that, right, 00:16:57.00\00:16:59.79 or heart disease or cancer. Yeah, yeah. 00:16:59.80\00:17:02.31 Then this actually just makes things 00:17:02.46\00:17:03.87 like you're saying double whammy. 00:17:03.88\00:17:05.29 So, I think we need to pray. Okay. 00:17:05.57\00:17:07.31 I want to recommend once again that you cannot, 00:17:07.44\00:17:09.90 you cannot get on God's nerves, that's what I want to say. 00:17:10.45\00:17:13.24 Okay people might get a little worked up over 00:17:13.39\00:17:15.12 you complaining all the time, 00:17:15.13\00:17:16.35 but you can't get on God's nerves, 00:17:16.36\00:17:18.34 praise the Lord. 00:17:18.63\00:17:19.60 So, you always want to go to the Lord, 00:17:19.61\00:17:20.80 no matter what's going on with you 00:17:20.92\00:17:22.08 and ask the Lord to help you. 00:17:22.42\00:17:23.66 So, let's pray, okay.
