Then we have the 00:03:52.52\00:03:54.96 cooking class one on the Sunday afternoon, 00:03:55.66\00:03:57.38 the vegetarian cooking Gourmet show, 00:03:57.96\00:04:00.60 alright and you are the Tofu lady, 00:04:00.94\00:04:02.63 so we go ahead and do that as well. 00:04:03.04\00:04:05.02 And it has been very interesting for us that 00:04:05.24\00:04:07.11 whole weekend is a concern from Friday till 00:04:07.29\00:04:10.00 Sunday afternoon and he spoke about the 00:04:10.22\00:04:12.15 weekend and also one of the things that's 00:04:12.33\00:04:14.40 going on right now too is that we've got quite 00:04:14.45\00:04:16.26 a few Churches calling us in for a whole week, 00:04:16.29\00:04:18.79 like they have a week of prayer they're doing 00:04:19.19\00:04:20.48 now, we're doing a whole week of health, right, 00:04:20.69\00:04:22.83 and that's because a lot of times people say 00:04:22.86\00:04:24.49 things like well we got excited, we like what you're 00:04:24.68\00:04:27.79 saying, but we need to kind of stay there a little 00:04:27.92\00:04:29.54 bit to hold our hand and walk us through. More abundantly, okay. 00:09:25.52\00:09:26.49 Well, you know to Sharon I wanna say that 00:09:26.58\00:09:28.61 it's not as difficult this people think to get into 00:09:30.05\00:09:31.91 the vegetarian diet, I think a lot of time we 00:09:31.99\00:09:34.58 get ourselves all worked up, believe it or not 00:09:34.68\00:09:37.22 one of the things that I learned to do was to 00:09:37.25\00:09:39.06 actually go back and look at the recipes that 00:09:39.20\00:09:40.89 I actually had at the home that my family 00:09:40.92\00:09:43.02 enjoyed and I prayed about it and found 00:09:43.08\00:09:45.17 ways to actually interchange some things 00:09:45.21\00:09:46.94 out, for instance where I saw whole milk I 00:09:47.02\00:09:49.33 began to use soy milk, where I saw butter 00:09:49.36\00:09:53.19 that I switched that out with soy margarines and 00:09:53.65\00:09:56.09 where I saw like heavy oils and shortenings I 00:09:56.40\00:10:00.25 began to use olive oil and canola oil. 00:10:00.34\00:10:02.79 And I said like inch by inch anything's a cinch, 00:10:03.14\00:10:05.10 you know just kind of switching things out, 00:10:05.13\00:10:06.63 now at first it might seem like a little difficult 00:10:07.04\00:10:08.74 of course that's where the cookbooks come 00:10:08.85\00:10:10.71 in handy, but cheeses, I switched those out with 00:10:10.78\00:10:14.79 the soy cheese almost every single thing that I 00:10:14.95\00:10:18.01 had in the cookbook and recipes that I had at 00:10:18.17\00:10:19.93 home, okay I discovered there was some 00:10:20.01\00:10:21.72 alternative that I could use. Now, some things 00:10:21.95\00:10:24.09 can't be switched out, something you just 00:10:24.36\00:10:25.96 have to, but a lot of them, but 99 percent of 00:10:25.99\00:10:28.87 the things, most ingredient things you can 00:10:28.95\00:10:29.92 switch out, yes, yeah, even a ground beef, 00:10:29.93\00:10:31.54 I think there is a lot of ground beef substitutes 00:10:31.73\00:10:33.86 that's soy base out there. Lots of new 00:10:34.25\00:10:36.54 products in the market you know that's the 00:10:36.74\00:10:38.58 blessing right now, this the best time believe it 00:10:38.62\00:10:40.57 or not to actually become a vegetarian because 00:10:40.60\00:10:42.46 we got so much at our disposal, yes, 00:10:42.84\00:10:44.94 you don't have to stand in kitchen a long 00:10:45.10\00:10:46.33 time if you know if you're running and you know 00:10:46.36\00:10:48.32 got a lot of thing going on. You were saying 00:10:48.36\00:10:50.61 about the, there's ground beef there is a. 00:10:50.71\00:10:52.60 I was gonna say fake bacon and I was gonna 00:10:55.53\00:10:57.65 say fake ground beef or alternative but you 00:10:57.82\00:11:00.61 know real is really dead, so the real stuff is 00:11:00.66\00:11:03.60 the plant based and this is where your ground 00:11:03.66\00:11:05.18 beef is coming from, this is the alternative food, 00:11:05.24\00:11:07.71 I wanna make sure you clarify what you just 00:11:07.97\00:11:08.94 said now so. Okay, you know people always to me 00:11:08.95\00:11:10.48 things like I want that fake meat or that fake 00:11:10.80\00:11:14.85 cheese you know and I said, you know really 00:11:15.09\00:11:17.08 fake is real because they're plant based and 00:11:17.29\00:11:19.25 those are really living food, I hope they got 00:11:19.28\00:11:20.95 that and then the real foods like the meat and 00:11:20.99\00:11:23.35 the cheese and the eggs those are really 00:11:23.46\00:11:25.09 dead. So, you want to live foods into body, 00:11:25.30\00:11:27.51 into the system okay, you know, lots of salads, 00:11:27.81\00:11:29.96 whole grains, thinking mainly now about like to 00:11:31.82\00:11:34.34 be try and switch out your brown rice's 00:11:34.46\00:11:36.24 you know for your white rice, you're using 00:11:37.14\00:11:38.70 white rice before you want to go now to brown 00:11:38.83\00:11:40.43 rice and I know you're saying Sharon, 00:11:40.52\00:11:42.33 you tried that brown rice and it did not workout. 00:11:42.51\00:11:44.41 But you know you wanna make sure that 00:11:44.66\00:11:45.63 you stay by Abundant Living because we do 00:11:45.64\00:11:46.99 a lot of education in the kitchen and teaching 00:11:47.24\00:11:49.40 you different things so. And I think two of 00:11:49.46\00:11:51.58 that when they switch out some ingredients they 00:11:51.74\00:11:53.89 can still keep some of those super foods 00:11:54.00\00:11:55.67 they're used to eating. But sometimes it takes 00:11:55.75\00:11:58.13 a while to change out some of those ingredients 00:11:58.22\00:12:01.29 and supply the other seasonings and spices 00:12:01.65\00:12:04.28 and herbs. As apposed to your peppers and 00:12:04.39\00:12:06.74 your salt, so it's a matter of period of transition, 00:12:06.98\00:12:10.21 this just a transition, some people can move 00:12:10.24\00:12:11.73 right into it and others are having a little 00:12:11.87\00:12:14.31 difficulty, that's one of the things we try to 00:12:14.49\00:12:15.94 do in an education of helping people to make 00:12:15.98\00:12:17.42 that transition, right, and your right, 00:12:17.51\00:12:19.30 You don't have to throw the baby out with the 00:12:19.89\00:12:21.05 bathwater, so to speak, that's one of your 00:12:21.17\00:12:22.64 favorite phrases, one of my favorite ones, 00:12:22.72\00:12:24.38 when I first got, when I first got, 00:12:24.59\00:12:25.56 when I first got starting the vegetarian 00:12:25.57\00:12:26.77 diet you know, I went to my first class and by 00:12:26.93\00:12:29.52 the time I got finished I was so stressed 00:12:29.55\00:12:31.58 out yes, that I went home and I emptied 00:12:31.73\00:12:33.30 everything out of cupboard, everything out 00:12:33.43\00:12:34.91 of the refrigerator, everything out of the 00:12:34.96\00:12:36.16 freezer. I looked around I had absolutely nothing 00:12:36.31\00:12:38.51 to eat.
