been very challenging in India,

the word work progresses still.

has become Hindustan.

That is India for Hindus.

So they are trying
to kind of eradicate

Christianity, Islam.

And this is a very
big challenge over there.

So in essence, India is
putting up a wall and saying,

this is our
religion, don't come in.

And so they're kind of
stirring the pot about people

who are coming in
with Christianity,

then that is exactly true.

So some what some
they're standing up

for themselves in the
sense of, this is our culture.

No, it's not that.

Hinduism is the
largest religion.

And they want to
make India Hindu state.

And they don't
want other religions.

and so, Christians

are going through some
difficult time over there.

And I'd like to tell
you about one of our Gospel

Outreach worker by
the name of Ramesh.

I don't want to give the
location, not his full name.
00:10:17.38\00:10:20.25
he is a very active
Gospel Outreach worker,
00:10:21.22\00:10:24.55
and he was blamed for unrest
in his village, in his area.
00:10:25.35\00:10:30.13
But unrest and unrest.
00:10:30.16\00:10:31.46
And that he was
creating fights and all that,
00:10:31.49\00:10:33.86
all that he was
doing was he was trying to
00:10:33.90\00:10:36.36
win people for Christ.
00:10:36.40\00:10:37.77
That's all he was doing.

And, one day in the village,

the idol that
is there fell down,

and they blamed him

and the other Gospel Outreach
workers in that district.

And what they did was
they came and beat him up.

His father and his brother,
and they were put in prison.

By God's grace.
They got out of prison.

And then the case is still

was prolonging for a long time.

And for the last
three, four years, the father

and the brother.
The case has gone on.

But this Gospel
Outreach worker was able

to pay some extra money
and get out of the case.

So did they ever find
out who destroyed the idol?

No, they did not did.

And it's just

we don't know what happened,
but they blame Christians.

Yeah. So because of this,

the Gospel Outreach workers all

that place were finding it
very difficult to do their work.

Because they were probably
be blamed for everything.

And so they got together

conference, they went over there

and met with a few
leaders there and told them

what they expect to do.

there were hundreds of people
who attended this meeting.

people were baptized.

devil stirring the pot.

But look what the Lord's doing.

Yes, during Covid,
that was a challenging time.

There was some Gospel Outreach
workers who couldn't do much,

they had to stay home.

But, it kind of
gets boring after.

So this pastor by
the name of Sunil,

who was the Gospel Outreach
worker, was just walking around

to a different area
and just spending his time,

and he saw, building
that look like a church.

And so he was curious,
what is this village here?

It was shut down.

And so he went
inside to see what it is.

And to his surprise, he found
it was an Adventist church.

But nobody was meeting.
Nobody was meeting there.

There was cattle food there.

There were cattle kept
there, and it was locked up.

And he does not know

and nobody knows for
how long that has been shut.

So he just, was so surprised.

And so he told the people,
you're not supposed to do

this is God's house. Yeah.

cleaned up, and he knelt there

inviting the people again

to come and to worship.

And then, the building,
of course, is very old.

It is, kind of broken
down and some of us contributed

is coming up in this place.

does in times of persecution.

Bible it talks about how that

there are brothers and sisters

who are also being persecuted.

workers with the idols.

It talks in the Bible

about how Paul

Jesus and everybody
else was stirring the pot.

So this isn't

make and they get drunk.

And one night, leopard
came and drank all that

and got a leopard.

A wild animal came,

it and drank everything.

timid and didn't know

chasing it or whatever.

be a testimony to us

there because they are meeting

there were about 150
people or something over there.

gone into three groups because
they can't meet in houses.

Well, that's a huge
that's a good problem.

But let's talk a little
bit about the, the, alcohol

problem.

So people are making
their own alcohol in the jungle.

But there are people

because it could be dangerous.

pretty bad, in the evening.

home. They're drunk.

They beat their wives.
