a career person, like,

school, getting an education

and having an office
job somewhere that way.

And it became apparent that
that's not what God had in mind.

So it just didn't work.

I barely graduated

from high school, seriously,

but I was really
interested in in construction.

I felt like I
could work with my hands

and I could
understand complicated

building systems and stuff.

I just sensed that
that's what God was leading me.

And so I went down that
path and I started learning

about real estate, developing

rental
properties, house flipping,

building, new home construction.

We developed the 17 lots
over there and built over there

and lived in a house
for a couple of years,

sold it, built
another one and did that.

And so this is the one where

This has been a lot
of years in the making.

It's been a lot of

And this was after I had
my conversion experience.

You know, I found Jesus.

He kind of started to plant
my feet on solid ground again.

almost 20 years of doing this,

I worked I worked
hard and struggled

and I saw how God was helping
me steer me in those areas.

just a little bit

when you walk on it,

but it's not going to go
anywhere. Before you know it.

Now I've got a passive income

because of my investments

Other ministries that
support mission work, you know,

Americans and they train them,

of teaching different cultures

and traditions to these people

indigenous people and I'm
like that is an amazing ministry

because you don't have to
spend all that costs and money.

understand their people

so well and culture and
traditions and language.

I was asked

to be president of
this amazing organization.

for another organization

and I'm like, Well, you
know, I'm not really qualified.

houses on the market.

and the other had been
sitting there for two years

So I said, Well, maybe
this will be my fleece.

I was really expecting

been dormant for for two years.

someone came and
they pretty much had cash

and they bought my house
within a couple of weeks.

I've tried to initiate

health. All of the topics

on mental health and
try to raise that awareness.

So it's a topic
that is not talked

about very much.
Yet in the churches

we have many people

that deal with these issues,

but they don't
know how to handle them.

And there's some
simple ways we can use to,

you know, treat them. Sure.

common in every country.

for the young people.

one way out of poverty,

media, social media.

themselves with their friends

and they can never measure up.

So it's very depressing.

were raised in India.

So what does it meant to the
two of you to be in India again

dream that maybe someday

stories, you know, about India.

hoped that someday

I would be able to go in
India and do some ministry

there of some sort.

And I couldn't
believe that God led us there.

wanted to have a place

an enormous amount of diabetes,
mostly because of lifestyle.

understand what causes disease.

tell them what to do
and they're happy to do,

drugs and everything.

So we opened the

And it's to treat naturally.

We don't promote drugs.

The first client that we had,

family, and she started reaching

contact with another Christian

group. And she attended
church there for a while.

When her father
found out he beat her.

But she kept on going.

And then during
COVID time, online,

she connected with an
Adventist lady doctor.

And they did studies
online and by and by this doctor

decided to come to our training
and invited her to join.

And so she

came and she was at
our training for five days.

Her parents didn't
know where she was,

and they called her and said,
Your grandfather's very sick.

So she packed up and

She didn't want to leave.

We thought this was a ploy

always been primarily volunteer,

to be more intimately involved

always been a passion of mine,

I was filming a reality TV show
and it was just meaningless.

And so I came

My wife and I, back

we went over to Asia
for five months to film a

called Destination 10/40.

And so we spent our time in
Asia living with the people.

It has always been my goal

to travel and to live
with people in their villages.

My wife and I are
willing to sleep anywhere.

We slept on
concrete, we slept in the dirt,

we slept all over the place.

But the reason why I
like to do things that way is

when you're a film team
that comes in to a village

where there's an
Adventist church,

there's a Gospel
Outreach Bible worker,

and you just run around,
get the shots that you need,

and then you leave.

I don't think
it looks very good.

I think it leaves a

a bad taste in the
mouths of the people

who are watching and
witnessing this happen.

It seems like we're
taking advantage of them.

So my wife and I made it a
point to go into these villages

and to actually live
with them, to work with them.

We harvested rice
in a rice paddy field.

Those are the things
that we wanted to do.

And when we were working
in that rice paddy field,

you know, in a
country like India,

being that the color of
skin that we are the country

that we're from,
we're a high class

and so we're not supposed to be
working in a rice paddy field.

So when we went to
that rice paddy field,

everyone was shocked.

They could not believe

that we were out wading around
in the mud, planting rice.

And so then that opened the door

for them to start

to break down that barrier of

of the cast system in India
in the minds of so many people.

So this was a very
exciting experience.
