Jerusalem were opened.

It says, because they end
up going into the Holy City.

until He rose, then they rose.

taken like a wave sheaf.

Now these are faithful that live
probably in the proximity of

Jerusalem, we can
only speculate, you know?

It may have been people
like Isaiah that was killed in

Jerusalem for his faith.

We know it wasn't David because
Peter tells us in Acts chapter

2, 40 days after the
resurrection, he said, "Let me

speak to you freely of the
patriarch David, that he is dead

and buried, and his grave is
with us and he is not ascended

to heaven."

So Peter is extremely clear that
David was not in that number,

that there's a heavenly

was earthly pattern of.

is Jesus or, you know, God the

Father and God the Son, the
Temple in the New Jerusalem?

Let's talk about it.

First of all, there is a Temple
in heaven, it's there right now.

The Bible is very clear.

The earthly temple was
built and patterned after the

heavenly temple.
00:10:28.06\00:10:29.49
And Jesus ministers, the New
Testament tells us, as our high

priest in that temple, and the
temple of God, of course, is a
00:10:33.16\00:10:38.03
dwelling place of God.
00:10:38.07\00:10:39.37
Now, there's something different
about the sanctuary now, than
00:10:39.40\00:10:42.10
there would be in the future.
00:10:42.14\00:10:44.07
The earthly sanctuary was
all about dealing with sin.

It had, you know, the first
thing you saw was an altar when
00:10:47.04\00:10:49.38
you came in, where the sacrifice
was killed, bled, then burned,

and then there was washing
and blood was brought into the

Holy Place.
00:10:57.72\00:10:59.02
That was all part of the process
of salvation and forgiveness.

When we get to heaven, there's
no longer a need for continuing

forgiveness from sin.

We're all purified
from sin at that point.

that Jesus is the temple?

make one without hands."

They accused Him of that at His
trial, and also He did say it in

the gospel of John.

He said, "I will
raise it up in three days."

And they said, "This Temple
has taken 46 years to restore,

you're gonna raise
it up in three days?"

He spoke of His Body.

And so we are
called living stones.

Christ is a cornerstone.

We are called
the Body of Christ.

And so I think it's telling us
there in Revelation chapter 21,

In the Old Testament, the

maintain the ordinances of
the Lord with the priests of

the Lord.

So you had the one group
that was compromised and that's

what's happened to the church.

You know, you've got a large
Catholic Orthodox Church that's

gotten into idolatry and you
might say 10 tribes are there.

But then you have the
Protestants that are trying to

stick a little more to the
fundamentals of the Bible, and

so you'll actually see among
spiritual Israel, some of the

same history has been acted out.

Unfortunately, in the Old
Testament, there is a unity

during the time of
Ahab and Jehoshaphat.

They started to join forces in
a few battles and it turned into
