because I'm just not as earnest

I don't really desire God

there are some practical
things that we can actually do

For one, we wanna
start filling our mind

with spiritual truth.

There might be
some things in our life

that we are very much aware
of that is causing a hindrance

in our spiritual life.

And we need to take
the first step and say,

Maybe there's some things
that have to be thrown away.

rested on the seventh day,

So the seventh day,
the Sabbath, is set apart

from all of the
other days of the week.

It is a memorial of
God's creative work.

It's an opportunity for us
to focus our attention on Him,

of the members of the church

who are asking for some
type of accommodation at work

because of their belief,
wanting to keep the Sabbath.

And we do everything
we can to assist that.

And most times you'll find
that colleges or universities

or works, they will
try to accommodate you.

If you're a good employee,
if you're a good student,

they'll try and work with you.

But what do you do if
they refuse to work with you

and they refuse to accommodate?

Well, I think it's one of those
things that we as Christians

need to make a stand for.

It's like Shadrach,

when the king
commanded everyone to bow down

to the golden image.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego

had already made up their minds

that they
weren't going to violate

one of the 10 commandments.

Even if it meant
going to the fiery furnace.

And they stood firm
and they trusted in God

and God delivered them.

So there are times
where we do everything we can,

but at the end of the day,

we just turn
ourselves over to God and say,

when it comes to doing something

if we are going to violate

So when you pray,

for spiritual blessings,

not something you'll look for,

And you pray for them.

Some demons
require prayer and fasting,

but you gather the
elders of the church

sincerely for that person.

times where an evil spirit

has come out of someone

So it's very real
people can be demon-possessed.
