Would you like to hear an amazing fact? 00:00:50.65\00:00:53.98 I don't know if you're aware of the Starlink company 00:00:55.42\00:00:57.32 founded by Elon Musk? 00:00:57.32\00:00:59.02 He's begun the process of launching a network of as many 00:00:59.02\00:01:02.46 as 42,000 satellites to provide low-cost internet 00:01:02.46\00:01:07.00 to even the most remote locations on Earth. 00:01:07.00\00:01:10.20 Each solar powered satellite weighs around 570 pounds, 00:01:10.20\00:01:14.44 and it's about the same size as a small dining table. 00:01:14.44\00:01:17.81 This mega constellation of Starlink satellites 00:01:17.81\00:01:20.64 circling the planet, 340 miles up, 00:01:20.64\00:01:23.98 is meant to carry large amounts of information rapidly 00:01:23.98\00:01:27.18 to any point on Earth. 00:01:27.18\00:01:29.68 It appears that soon the whole world will be connected 00:01:29.68\00:01:33.05 to the internet superhighway. 00:01:33.05\00:01:35.46 This developing picture of international communication 00:01:35.46\00:01:38.33 fits perfectly in the scheme of Bible prophecy, Pastor Ross. 00:01:38.33\00:01:42.46 - That's interesting, Pastor Doug, 00:01:42.46\00:01:43.73 mentioning how that the world is connected 00:01:43.73\00:01:45.60 through these satellites that are being launched 00:01:45.60\00:01:47.57 and placed in space. 00:01:47.57\00:01:49.07 I think at the end of the day, 00:01:49.07\00:01:50.64 not only are people able to log on with their computers, 00:01:50.64\00:01:53.21 but I think ultimately the goal would be is to have 00:01:53.21\00:01:55.41 a cell phone that is dependent not upon land-based towers, 00:01:55.41\00:01:59.15 but you can be anywhere 00:01:59.15\00:02:00.55 and you can connect directly to a satellite with your phone. 00:02:00.55\00:02:03.39 - Yeah. 00:02:03.39\00:02:04.19 - And you can talk to somebody 00:02:04.19\00:02:04.99 on the other side of the world. 00:02:04.99\00:02:06.09 - I actually know somebody now who has 00:02:06.09\00:02:07.19 already signed up for this service 00:02:07.19\00:02:09.19 and they're already receiving it, 00:02:09.19\00:02:10.36 but there's pretty long line. 00:02:10.36\00:02:11.39 - I'm sure. 00:02:11.39\00:02:12.76 - They just managed to get to the head of the line. 00:02:12.76\00:02:13.76 (Jean laughing) 00:02:13.76\00:02:14.56 And they said, "It works." 00:02:14.56\00:02:15.40 - [Jean] Huh. 00:02:15.40\00:02:16.77 - Which is, you've been to our place in The Hills, 00:02:16.77\00:02:18.13 it'll be really helpful where you're off the grid 00:02:18.13\00:02:20.17 and you can still be connected to the world. 00:02:20.17\00:02:22.20 Just think about that. 00:02:22.20\00:02:24.01 But you know, that also fits in with Bible prophecy 00:02:24.01\00:02:28.11 because there's some prophecies that talk about 00:02:28.11\00:02:30.85 international communication, if you will. 00:02:30.85\00:02:32.95 - Mm-hmm. 00:02:32.95\00:02:34.05 You know, in the Book of Revelation 00:02:34.05\00:02:35.75 we have in chapter 13, a description of two powers, 00:02:35.75\00:02:38.69 it's called beast. 00:02:38.69\00:02:39.82 The first beast that comes from the sea, 00:02:39.82\00:02:41.49 another beast that comes from the earth. 00:02:41.49\00:02:43.59 And the Bible, when talking about these political, 00:02:43.59\00:02:46.13 and the one is a political religious power, 00:02:46.13\00:02:48.93 it says in Revelation 13:8, 00:02:48.93\00:02:51.00 it says: 00:02:51.00\00:02:52.27 All who dwell upon the Earth shall worship him 00:02:52.27\00:02:54.00 whose names have not been written in 00:02:54.00\00:02:55.34 the Lamb's Book of Life. 00:02:55.34\00:02:57.07 And then in verse 16 of chapter 13, it says: 00:02:57.07\00:03:00.31 He calls us all, both small and great, rich and free, 00:03:00.31\00:03:03.35 slave, to receive a mark in his right hand, 00:03:03.35\00:03:05.95 on his forehead. 00:03:05.95\00:03:07.32 So the time's gonna come where through mass communication, 00:03:07.32\00:03:09.88 the world will be united in worshiping this beast power, 00:03:09.88\00:03:13.39 except for those whose names are written in 00:03:13.39\00:03:14.89 the Lamb's Book of Life. 00:03:14.89\00:03:15.92 Well, I think it's pretty important for us 00:03:15.92\00:03:17.33 to know what is that beast power? 00:03:17.33\00:03:19.03 What is the mark of the beast? 00:03:19.03\00:03:20.40 And even more importantly to know, what is the seal of God? 00:03:20.40\00:03:23.53 Because at the end, there's just two groups. 00:03:23.53\00:03:24.97 Those who have the mark of the beast, 00:03:24.97\00:03:26.07 those who have the seal of God. 00:03:26.07\00:03:27.34 And it seems as though communication is gonna be key 00:03:27.34\00:03:30.71 in getting the whole world together. 00:03:30.71\00:03:32.61 After all, the devil's gonna try and deceive people. 00:03:32.61\00:03:34.91 I think it's gonna be broadcast over the airwaves 00:03:34.91\00:03:37.11 and around the world through satellite. 00:03:37.11\00:03:39.08 But not only is mass communication used by the devil 00:03:39.08\00:03:42.38 in the last days, but there's actually some good news. 00:03:42.38\00:03:45.52 - Yeah, that's right. 00:03:45.52\00:03:46.62 You can read where Jesus says in Matthew 24:14: 00:03:46.62\00:03:49.72 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached 00:03:49.72\00:03:52.19 "in all the world for a witness to the nations 00:03:52.19\00:03:54.93 "and then the end will come." 00:03:54.93\00:03:57.03 And so it tells us there'll be a day 00:03:57.03\00:03:59.00 when the gospel is going to the whole world. 00:03:59.00\00:04:00.77 And so it's rather exciting. 00:04:00.77\00:04:02.90 Even this broadcast right now, 00:04:02.90\00:04:04.31 we're streaming around the world through the internet 00:04:04.31\00:04:07.44 and there's still some remote locations 00:04:07.44\00:04:09.81 that don't get reception, 00:04:09.81\00:04:11.18 but it looks like Mr. Musk is gonna help resolve that. 00:04:11.18\00:04:14.42 (Jean laughing) 00:04:14.42\00:04:15.25 - That's right. 00:04:15.25\00:04:16.32 - And we encourage you to call in 00:04:16.32\00:04:17.52 with your questions tonight. 00:04:17.52\00:04:18.52 We are live on "Bible Answers Live." 00:04:18.52\00:04:20.29 We're back in our saddles again 00:04:20.29\00:04:23.02 and we have an offer that has something to do with 00:04:23.02\00:04:25.93 how do we know what the beast is up to 00:04:25.93\00:04:28.33 and what they're gonna be communicating in the last days? 00:04:28.33\00:04:30.43 - Oh, we have a book that's called, "The Scarlet Woman" 00:04:30.43\00:04:33.00 and it ties in with Revelation 17 00:04:33.00\00:04:35.10 where you have a woman representing a church 00:04:35.10\00:04:37.61 that is controlling a political power, 00:04:37.61\00:04:39.41 represented by a beast. 00:04:39.41\00:04:41.44 And this book tells you all about it, 00:04:41.44\00:04:43.38 tells you what that political power is, 00:04:43.38\00:04:45.21 what that religious power is, 00:04:45.21\00:04:46.48 and what's gonna happen. 00:04:46.48\00:04:47.55 According to the Book of Revelation, 00:04:47.55\00:04:49.05 what's gonna happen as we near the end of time. 00:04:49.05\00:04:50.75 We will send this for free to anyone who calls and asks. 00:04:50.75\00:04:54.56 It's called, "The Scarlet Woman" 00:04:54.56\00:04:56.26 and the number to call for that is 800-835-6747. 00:04:56.26\00:05:00.70 And again, you can just ask for the book. 00:05:00.70\00:05:01.96 It's called, "The Scarlet Woman." 00:05:01.96\00:05:03.30 We'll be happy to get it in the mail to you, 00:05:03.30\00:05:04.97 if you're in North America. 00:05:04.97\00:05:06.47 If you're outside of North America, 00:05:06.47\00:05:07.97 just go to the "Amazing Facts" website. 00:05:07.97\00:05:10.24 It's just amazingfacts.org or.com, 00:05:10.24\00:05:13.48 and you can read the book there online. 00:05:13.48\00:05:15.68 Again, if you have a Bible question, 00:05:15.68\00:05:16.98 our phone lines are open. 00:05:16.98\00:05:18.08 The number to call is 800-463-7297. 00:05:18.08\00:05:22.05 That's 800-463-7297. 00:05:22.05\00:05:24.99 You might also wanna text your friend and say, 00:05:24.99\00:05:26.52 "'Bible Answers Live' is live this evening, 00:05:26.52\00:05:29.32 "so tune in right away." 00:05:29.32\00:05:30.83 You can also watch us on "Amazing Facts" TV, 00:05:30.83\00:05:32.99 and of course on the Doug Batchelor Facebook page, 00:05:32.99\00:05:36.20 the "Amazing Facts" YouTube channel. 00:05:36.20\00:05:38.13 So take advantage of that. 00:05:38.13\00:05:39.20 In addition to just listening on the radio, 00:05:39.20\00:05:41.04 you can actually participate with us online. 00:05:41.04\00:05:43.71 - Absolutely. 00:05:43.71\00:05:45.11 Well with that, maybe you can have a word of prayer 00:05:45.11\00:05:47.01 and we'll go to the phones and see what the questions are. 00:05:47.01\00:05:49.38 - Let's do. 00:05:49.38\00:05:50.18 Dear Father in Heaven, again, 00:05:50.18\00:05:51.31 we are so grateful that we have this opportunity 00:05:51.31\00:05:53.08 to open up your Word and study. 00:05:53.08\00:05:54.45 It's been a few weeks that we've had 00:05:54.45\00:05:56.25 a chance to do this live, 00:05:56.25\00:05:57.62 and, Lord, we are looking forward to just allowing 00:05:57.62\00:05:59.95 your Spirit to lead us as we search the scriptures. 00:05:59.95\00:06:02.49 Be with those who are listening, wherever they might be, 00:06:02.49\00:06:04.66 and guide us, Lord, as we open the Bible. 00:06:04.66\00:06:06.80 In Jesus' name, amen. 00:06:06.80\00:06:08.63 - Amen. 00:06:08.63\00:06:09.90 - Okay, well, our first caller this evening 00:06:09.90\00:06:11.60 is calling from New York. 00:06:11.60\00:06:12.50 We have Anthony. 00:06:12.50\00:06:13.30 Anthony, welcome to the program. 00:06:13.30\00:06:14.84 You're on the air. 00:06:14.84\00:06:15.80 - [Anthony] Hello. Good evening, Pastors. 00:06:17.24\00:06:18.41 Glad to have you back. 00:06:18.41\00:06:19.71 - Thank you. It's good to be back. 00:06:19.71\00:06:21.48 And your question? 00:06:22.28\00:06:23.24 - [Anthony] Yes. 00:06:24.45\00:06:25.55 So my question has to do with the Commandments. 00:06:25.55\00:06:28.58 I've heard it said, I've even heard you say different times 00:06:29.98\00:06:33.76 that there will be people, sincere people, 00:06:33.76\00:06:37.53 who did not know the truth about the Sabbath, 00:06:37.53\00:06:41.10 who didn't have a chance to keep the Sabbath on Earth 00:06:42.46\00:06:44.30 before they died or before Jesus comes 00:06:44.30\00:06:47.64 and that they will be in Heaven. 00:06:47.64\00:06:48.77 There will be plenty of people in Heaven 00:06:48.77\00:06:50.31 that did not keep the Sabbath on Earth. 00:06:50.31\00:06:51.91 But I wondered does that same principle apply 00:06:51.91\00:06:54.74 to the other sins? 00:06:54.74\00:06:56.58 Something like, people who worship other gods, 00:06:56.58\00:07:00.22 other idols or pagans, 00:07:00.22\00:07:01.32 or people who are liars, thieves, 00:07:01.32\00:07:05.02 murderers, things like that? 00:07:05.02\00:07:06.69 Does the same principle apply to those other Commandments? 00:07:06.69\00:07:10.59 - Yeah, I think that you can find examples for 00:07:10.59\00:07:13.76 God judges us largely about what we know. 00:07:13.76\00:07:16.97 And Jesus says that, 00:07:16.97\00:07:18.33 and Pastor Ross might look up the reference for me, 00:07:18.33\00:07:20.40 at the times of this ignorance God winked at is one. 00:07:20.40\00:07:23.94 That's Acts 17:30, I'm pretty sure. 00:07:23.94\00:07:26.07 And the other one is where Jesus said, 00:07:26.07\00:07:28.44 "If you did not know, you would have no sin. 00:07:28.44\00:07:30.71 "But since you see, your sin remains." 00:07:30.71\00:07:33.58 And another place Christ tells us, He said, 00:07:34.62\00:07:37.79 "God allowed divorce because of the hardness of your hearts, 00:07:39.12\00:07:41.72 "but from the beginning, it was not so." 00:07:41.72\00:07:43.53 So there you can see that God sometimes 00:07:43.53\00:07:45.46 has tolerated some misguided behavior, 00:07:45.46\00:07:48.60 'cause people just didn't understand. 00:07:48.60\00:07:50.90 It is not God's will for someone to have more than one wife. 00:07:50.90\00:07:54.20 If I were to take more than one wife at a time, 00:07:54.20\00:07:57.24 I mean, if you become a widow, you can remarry, 00:07:57.24\00:07:59.87 but that would be polygamy 00:07:59.87\00:08:03.08 or bigamy if it's two, 00:08:04.15\00:08:05.91 and that would be a sin and I'd be lost. 00:08:05.91\00:08:09.95 But you'll have people in Heaven that didn't know that, 00:08:09.95\00:08:12.42 like Abraham and Jacob and David and many others, 00:08:12.42\00:08:17.49 'cause it was just rife during the times 00:08:18.56\00:08:19.56 in which they lived. 00:08:19.56\00:08:20.96 So God always wants us to obey 00:08:20.96\00:08:23.13 and to follow the Holy Spirit, 00:08:23.13\00:08:24.53 but there are areas, I think there'll be people in Heaven 00:08:24.53\00:08:27.64 that maybe did not understand 00:08:27.64\00:08:29.14 the commandment about idolatry. 00:08:29.14\00:08:30.51 Very devoted, love the Lord, 00:08:30.51\00:08:32.11 but they were growing up in an age where 00:08:32.11\00:08:33.54 they were surrounded by idols in church. 00:08:33.54\00:08:36.01 And I think you've gotta be careful not to say that 00:08:36.01\00:08:38.01 everybody that attended a church that had idols in it 00:08:38.01\00:08:41.65 or statues of Mary, that they're all lost. 00:08:41.65\00:08:45.95 Maybe they just didn't understand 00:08:45.95\00:08:47.89 or they were misled by a Priest. 00:08:47.89\00:08:49.16 So I think God judges everybody on a case by case basis. 00:08:49.16\00:08:52.73 But sin is sin and the blood of Jesus covers those sins 00:08:52.73\00:08:56.97 where a person sins in ignorance. 00:08:56.97\00:08:59.33 - Just the verse your refer to, Pastor Doug, John 9:41. 00:08:59.33\00:09:02.34 It says: 00:09:02.34\00:09:03.71 Jesus said to them, "If you are blind, you'd have no sin. 00:09:03.71\00:09:05.11 "But now you say, 'We see,' therefore your sin remains." 00:09:05.11\00:09:09.31 I'm also thinking of another area that we mentioned. 00:09:09.31\00:09:11.71 Those who know the will of the Master and they don't do it, 00:09:11.71\00:09:15.32 they're beaten with many stripes. 00:09:15.32\00:09:16.75 Those who did not know the will of the Master 00:09:16.75\00:09:18.89 and did that worthy of stripes 00:09:18.89\00:09:20.49 will be beaten with few stripes. 00:09:20.49\00:09:22.42 So people are held accountable for what they know. 00:09:22.42\00:09:25.39 - Exactly. 00:09:25.39\00:09:26.49 - Especially as it comes to this. 00:09:26.49\00:09:27.50 - Too whom much is given, much is required. 00:09:27.50\00:09:28.90 - We do have a study guide called, "Written in Stone" 00:09:28.90\00:09:31.23 and it's all about the 10 Commandments 00:09:31.23\00:09:32.60 and we'll be happy to send this out to anyone who calls 00:09:32.60\00:09:34.77 and asks. 00:09:34.77\00:09:36.10 The number again for our free offer is 800-835-6747. 00:09:36.10\00:09:40.01 You can ask for the study guide. 00:09:40.01\00:09:41.14 It's called, "Written in Stone." 00:09:41.14\00:09:43.28 And if you have a Bible question, 00:09:43.28\00:09:44.38 the number here in the studio is 800-463-7297. 00:09:44.38\00:09:49.35 - [Doug] Amen. 00:09:49.35\00:09:50.45 - Now we've got Jerry listening in Texas. 00:09:50.45\00:09:51.25 Jerry, welcome to the program. 00:09:51.25\00:09:52.69 - [Jerry] Hey guys, enjoyed your programs. 00:09:53.79\00:09:55.56 My question is tonight is that Adam and Eve, 00:09:55.56\00:09:59.46 they suppose they lost their covering of light 00:09:59.46\00:10:03.00 'cause they were naked and they had to have fig leaves. 00:10:03.00\00:10:06.94 Does Lucifer still have, wear that covering of light 00:10:06.94\00:10:11.51 when God created him as an archangel? 00:10:11.51\00:10:14.61 - Yeah. 00:10:14.61\00:10:15.71 Well, I don't know the Bible ever tells us 00:10:15.71\00:10:16.51 Lucifer was the archangel. 00:10:16.51\00:10:18.51 That's a title you only see connected with Michael. 00:10:18.51\00:10:21.32 But to his robe, 00:10:21.32\00:10:24.15 the Bible, if he's still clothed with light, 00:10:24.15\00:10:26.82 the Bible tells us in, I think it's 2 Corinthians 11, 00:10:26.82\00:10:30.03 that Satan himself can be transformed 00:10:30.03\00:10:32.76 into an angel of light. 00:10:32.76\00:10:35.06 So angels are ministering spirits. 00:10:35.06\00:10:38.10 They're different from people like Adam and Eve. 00:10:38.10\00:10:41.07 And so, when Adam and Eve sinned, 00:10:41.07\00:10:43.07 they had these robes of light or glory 00:10:43.07\00:10:45.11 or something that went out that helped them to realize that, 00:10:45.11\00:10:47.38 "Oh, something's gone. We're naked." 00:10:47.38\00:10:49.71 But angels are really kind of a different 00:10:49.71\00:10:52.88 category of creature. 00:10:52.88\00:10:54.12 They are ministering spirits. 00:10:54.12\00:10:56.22 And so I think the devil can emanate light if he wants. 00:10:56.22\00:11:01.19 - The verse you're referring to is 2 Corinthians 11:14. 00:11:02.56\00:11:04.16 It says: 00:11:04.16\00:11:05.26 No wonder, for Satan himself is transformed 00:11:05.26\00:11:06.86 into an angel of light. 00:11:06.86\00:11:08.90 Now you mentioned 00:11:08.90\00:11:10.67 Lucifer's never referred to as the archangel, 00:11:10.67\00:11:12.57 but he is referred to as the angel that covereth 00:11:12.57\00:11:14.70 or the covering cherub. 00:11:14.70\00:11:15.87 - [Doug] Right. Correct. 00:11:15.87\00:11:17.11 - Which is a little different than the archangel. 00:11:17.11\00:11:18.21 Okay, thanks for your call, Jerry. 00:11:18.21\00:11:19.27 We got Rodney listening from Texas as well. 00:11:19.27\00:11:22.31 Rodney, welcome to the program. 00:11:22.31\00:11:24.68 - [Rodney] Yeah. 00:11:24.68\00:11:26.05 I'm a truck driver and my work sent out a memo saying that 00:11:26.05\00:11:30.65 we have to take the vaccine to stay working here. 00:11:31.95\00:11:35.36 - Mm. 00:11:35.36\00:11:36.69 - [Rodney] I was just wondering if there was any scriptures, 00:11:36.69\00:11:38.06 because what I understand is they're not giving anyone 00:11:38.06\00:11:42.86 religious excuses not to take the vaccine. 00:11:42.86\00:11:46.23 - [Doug] Right. 00:11:46.23\00:11:47.77 - [Rodney] But is there any scripture that would help 00:11:47.77\00:11:50.17 to combat that? 00:11:50.17\00:11:51.41 - Yeah. Well, that's a good question. 00:11:51.41\00:11:53.07 And of course, it's a very relevant question 00:11:53.07\00:11:54.78 in our world today. 00:11:54.78\00:11:56.04 I'll tell you what. 00:11:57.31\00:11:58.81 There's no scripture that's gonna mention vaccine or virus. 00:11:58.81\00:12:01.32 There are scriptures that say that medicine, 00:12:02.38\00:12:05.52 there is good medicine. 00:12:05.52\00:12:06.89 In Ezekiel it talks about the leaves of the tree, 00:12:06.89\00:12:09.52 trees will be for medicine 00:12:10.53\00:12:12.46 and a happy heart doeth good like a medicine. 00:12:12.46\00:12:15.86 And so there are. 00:12:15.86\00:12:16.93 The Bible does speak favorably that there are 00:12:16.93\00:12:19.90 some good medicines. 00:12:19.90\00:12:21.10 You have Paul who says, 00:12:21.10\00:12:23.84 "Luke, the beloved physician, is with me." 00:12:23.84\00:12:26.51 And sometimes physicians would administer herbs 00:12:26.51\00:12:29.54 or medicines to help relieve people's suffering. 00:12:29.54\00:12:32.45 But so there's no moral problem with taking a vaccine 00:12:32.45\00:12:36.99 and we just wanna be clear about that. 00:12:38.09\00:12:39.42 Now there's another issue that you're alluding to in this 00:12:39.42\00:12:43.46 and that's at what point it's almost like 00:12:43.46\00:12:47.66 a political question with patriotism. 00:12:47.66\00:12:50.43 At what point is the government overstepping its bounds 00:12:50.43\00:12:54.24 in requiring people to take something? 00:12:54.24\00:12:57.61 And I've thought a lot about this 00:12:59.24\00:13:01.14 'cause we get a lot of questions. 00:13:01.14\00:13:02.54 And by the way, there are some companies that are providing, 00:13:02.54\00:13:04.71 in some states, it varies from state to state, 00:13:04.71\00:13:07.08 are providing religious exemptions. 00:13:07.08\00:13:09.35 And Pastor Ross and I, we support people's decisions 00:13:09.35\00:13:12.25 if they want to take the vaccine, if they don't. 00:13:12.25\00:13:14.82 We believe in freedom. 00:13:14.82\00:13:15.99 I think we're not doctors, so we don't issue medical advice 00:13:17.53\00:13:22.03 and we're not experts in the constitution or politicians. 00:13:22.03\00:13:25.20 We're pastors. 00:13:25.20\00:13:27.20 But so that may vary from state to state. 00:13:27.20\00:13:30.34 We have written a few letters to people explaining that 00:13:30.34\00:13:33.24 we've got a member of the church and for some health reason, 00:13:33.24\00:13:36.01 they're asking if they might get an exemption 00:13:36.01\00:13:38.61 for religious conviction or a health reason, 00:13:38.61\00:13:41.62 and some have been accepted, some have not. 00:13:42.82\00:13:44.62 I think it varies from company to company. 00:13:44.62\00:13:47.39 But for me, I've thought a lot about this. 00:13:47.39\00:13:52.26 And 00:13:52.26\00:13:53.16 in our culture today, there's an element of risk in life. 00:13:54.66\00:13:59.63 And every culture decides how much risk 00:14:01.27\00:14:04.24 they're willing to accept to have freedom. 00:14:04.24\00:14:07.64 And for example, I don't drink. 00:14:08.44\00:14:11.91 Pastor Ross, I think it's safe to say, 00:14:11.91\00:14:13.45 doesn't drink alcohol. 00:14:13.45\00:14:15.52 People have a right to drink alcohol in our country 00:14:15.52\00:14:18.82 even though we know that a certain number of those people 00:14:18.82\00:14:22.36 are going to get sick or make other people sick 00:14:23.63\00:14:25.79 or have accidents. 00:14:25.79\00:14:27.10 And we say, "Look, we're going to respect their right, 00:14:27.10\00:14:29.66 "even though we know there's a risk involved." 00:14:29.66\00:14:32.03 I think smoking is a very bad idea, 00:14:32.03\00:14:34.10 but it's still legal to smoke 00:14:34.10\00:14:35.90 and the government of course accepts tax money from that. 00:14:35.90\00:14:38.61 And so the culture has accepted a certain amount of risk 00:14:38.61\00:14:41.88 to allow that freedom. 00:14:41.88\00:14:43.14 And so I think one of the questions that 00:14:43.14\00:14:45.18 some people are grappling with is not whether 00:14:45.18\00:14:47.32 the Bible forbids it, but they're wondering about 00:14:47.32\00:14:50.72 at what point are we, 00:14:50.72\00:14:52.99 for the illusion of security, are we taking away freedoms? 00:14:54.36\00:14:57.36 And so that's, I think, another very important issue. 00:14:57.36\00:14:59.26 But we can't really give you a scripture on vaccines. 00:14:59.26\00:15:02.60 - Well, you know, Pastor Doug, 00:15:02.60\00:15:03.60 you do mention something that's maybe 00:15:03.60\00:15:04.27 worth just referencing. 00:15:04.27\00:15:05.67 As far as the Bible goes, if you look at end time events, 00:15:05.67\00:15:08.77 Book of Revelation talks about a time where, 00:15:08.77\00:15:11.31 it's not a vaccine that's forced, 00:15:11.31\00:15:13.21 but it is a form of worship that's forced. 00:15:13.21\00:15:15.91 And eventually, people can't buy and sell 00:15:15.91\00:15:18.21 if they refuse to go along with this law 00:15:18.21\00:15:21.98 dealing with worship. 00:15:21.98\00:15:23.08 It is interesting that when people are afraid, 00:15:23.08\00:15:25.22 they're willing to, 9/11 and onwards, 00:15:25.22\00:15:27.72 when people are afraid, 00:15:27.72\00:15:29.09 they're willing to surrender their rights very quickly 00:15:29.09\00:15:31.06 for security. 00:15:31.06\00:15:32.33 - For the illusion of security. 00:15:32.33\00:15:33.46 - For at least the illusion of that. 00:15:33.46\00:15:34.50 (Doug laughing) 00:15:34.50\00:15:35.33 But at some point, 00:15:35.33\00:15:37.10 it seems as though when things go from bad to worse, 00:15:37.10\00:15:40.44 the only thing that you end up gaining is 00:15:40.44\00:15:42.34 just a loss of freedoms at the end. 00:15:42.34\00:15:43.84 You don't really gain that security 00:15:43.84\00:15:45.34 or that safety that people are looking for. 00:15:45.34\00:15:46.94 So it is an interesting question. 00:15:46.94\00:15:48.78 And of course, it's playing out today. 00:15:48.78\00:15:51.48 But I think individually we need to make decisions 00:15:51.48\00:15:54.88 based on health reasons. 00:15:54.88\00:15:56.38 If a person is a high-risk category, 00:15:56.38\00:15:58.22 they need to talk to their doctors, 00:15:58.22\00:15:59.32 they need to figure out what's the best thing 00:15:59.32\00:16:00.92 for them to do. 00:16:00.92\00:16:01.99 And it's not, as you mentioned, Pastor Doug, 00:16:01.99\00:16:03.76 it's not a... 00:16:03.76\00:16:05.36 The Bible doesn't speak against it 00:16:05.36\00:16:06.36 and the Bible doesn't speak for it. 00:16:06.36\00:16:08.16 - Yeah. 00:16:08.16\00:16:08.96 - The Bible does say that 00:16:08.96\00:16:10.07 your body's the temple of the Holy Spirit, 00:16:10.07\00:16:11.47 so you wanna take care of yourself the best you can. 00:16:11.47\00:16:12.77 - Yeah. There's no moral dilemma with taking a vaccine. 00:16:12.77\00:16:15.44 There's been a lot of plagues 00:16:16.24\00:16:17.91 and things that have been stayed by, 00:16:17.91\00:16:21.21 like smallpox or polio or other things, 00:16:21.21\00:16:23.81 that have been eradicated by health measures. 00:16:23.81\00:16:26.65 And the Bible talks about sanitation. 00:16:26.65\00:16:29.28 The Bible even talks about if there's something contagious, 00:16:29.28\00:16:32.22 how to deal with that. 00:16:32.22\00:16:33.05 - [Jean] Mm-hmm. 00:16:33.05\00:16:33.86 - Well, we can go on and on. 00:16:33.86\00:16:34.92 This is a very relevant question, 00:16:34.92\00:16:36.86 but we have some other people lined up. 00:16:36.86\00:16:38.53 Thanks so much. Appreciate that, Rodney. 00:16:38.53\00:16:40.33 - Thanks Rodney. 00:16:40.33\00:16:41.33 We've got Randy listening in Indiana. 00:16:41.33\00:16:42.96 Randy, welcome to the program. 00:16:42.96\00:16:44.87 - [Randy] My question is, 00:16:45.87\00:16:48.37 if a person survives or endures to the end, 00:16:48.37\00:16:52.81 the Bible says he who endures to the end, he will be saved, 00:16:54.21\00:16:57.25 can that person still, 00:16:57.25\00:16:58.95 even though he endures to the end, be lost? 00:16:58.95\00:17:03.12 - Okay. Thank you. 00:17:03.12\00:17:04.15 I think you're quoting from Matthew 24, 00:17:04.15\00:17:05.52 where Jesus is describing the persecution of God's people 00:17:05.52\00:17:09.29 in the last days. 00:17:09.29\00:17:10.66 And Jesus talks about a great tribulation such as 00:17:10.66\00:17:13.26 there never has been. 00:17:13.26\00:17:14.66 And He says that, 00:17:14.66\00:17:16.36 "But he that endures to the end will be saved." 00:17:16.36\00:17:19.33 Those people, who are God's elect, 00:17:19.33\00:17:21.30 that are faithful enduring to the end, they are saved. 00:17:21.30\00:17:24.27 And so when you talk about enduring to the end, 00:17:24.27\00:17:27.11 He's not talking about enduring trial or torture, 00:17:27.11\00:17:29.31 He's talking about their faith endures to the end. 00:17:29.31\00:17:32.18 They are obviously saved. 00:17:32.18\00:17:33.52 - And we have a group described in Revelation 7, 00:17:33.52\00:17:36.15 talks about those who have the seal of God 00:17:36.15\00:17:37.92 in their foreheads. 00:17:37.92\00:17:39.02 Well, if you have the seal of God, 00:17:39.02\00:17:40.42 it means you surrender to Him 00:17:40.42\00:17:42.02 and He's gonna take care of you. 00:17:42.02\00:17:43.43 During the tribulation, you need not fear. 00:17:43.43\00:17:45.53 So if we surrender our life to Christ every day, 00:17:45.53\00:17:49.26 we're gonna receive that seal 00:17:49.26\00:17:50.97 and we need not fear when the time of trouble comes. 00:17:50.97\00:17:53.60 - [Doug] That's right. 00:17:53.60\00:17:54.70 - Thanks for your call. 00:17:54.70\00:17:55.50 - [Doug] Thank you, Randy. 00:17:55.50\00:17:56.64 - We're gonna go to E. Frank now in New York. 00:17:56.64\00:17:57.44 E. Frank, you're on the air. 00:17:57.44\00:17:59.37 - [E. Frank] Good evening, Pastor Doug and Pastor Ross. 00:17:59.37\00:18:02.91 - Evening. 00:18:02.91\00:18:04.28 - [E. Frank] My question for you gentleman this evening 00:18:04.28\00:18:05.75 is as follows: 00:18:05.75\00:18:08.78 Did 00:18:08.78\00:18:09.68 Jesus 00:18:10.72\00:18:11.85 resurrect on the third day in His full glory? 00:18:12.99\00:18:16.62 And were there any eyewitnesses, according to scripture, 00:18:16.62\00:18:20.50 that saw Jesus going to Heaven directly after the third day 00:18:20.50\00:18:24.53 or was it a 40 day period of ascension? 00:18:24.53\00:18:28.37 Because I'm a little bit confused how 00:18:28.37\00:18:30.74 Jesus rose on the third day 00:18:30.74\00:18:33.34 and then He stood on Earth for 40 days, 00:18:33.34\00:18:36.54 and then He went into Heaven 40 days later. 00:18:36.54\00:18:41.05 And scripture never stated if they actually saw Jesus 00:18:42.45\00:18:45.75 go into Heaven directly. 00:18:45.75\00:18:47.69 - All right. 00:18:47.69\00:18:49.06 I think that if you look in the Gospel of John 20, 00:18:49.06\00:18:52.96 it tells us that after the angel came 00:18:52.96\00:18:56.30 and threw away the stone, 00:18:56.30\00:18:58.10 the Roman guard that was there guarding the tomb, 00:18:58.10\00:19:00.44 they saw the angels and they fled in fear. 00:19:00.44\00:19:02.70 First they fell down as though they were dead 00:19:02.70\00:19:04.34 and then they fled. 00:19:04.34\00:19:05.71 And when the women came, they saw two angels, 00:19:05.71\00:19:09.98 the stone was rolled away, they left to go tell the others 00:19:09.98\00:19:13.52 and Mary was there by herself, weeping. 00:19:13.52\00:19:15.38 She stayed. 00:19:15.38\00:19:16.52 That's where you pick up the story in John 20:11. 00:19:16.52\00:19:19.22 Mary stood outside the tomb weeping, Jesus appears to her, 00:19:19.22\00:19:23.26 she goes to grab His feet and worship Him. 00:19:23.26\00:19:25.76 And He says, "Do not cling to me," 00:19:25.76\00:19:27.83 this is verse 17, 00:19:27.83\00:19:28.86 "For I've not yet ascended to My Father, 00:19:28.86\00:19:31.97 "but go to My brethren and say 00:19:31.97\00:19:33.30 "I am ascending to My Father and to your Father, 00:19:33.30\00:19:36.00 "to My God and your God." 00:19:36.00\00:19:38.04 Later that day, when He sees them, they worship Him. 00:19:38.04\00:19:41.94 So between the time He saw Mary, 00:19:41.94\00:19:44.91 He waited for Mary, He revealed Himself, 00:19:44.91\00:19:47.08 said, "Go tell the disciples and Peter I'm alive." 00:19:47.08\00:19:49.75 And that evening meeting, when He says, "All hail," 00:19:49.75\00:19:52.55 He invites their worship, 00:19:52.55\00:19:53.66 He ascended to Heaven and came back again 00:19:53.66\00:19:56.09 to have His sacrifice declared successful and victorious. 00:19:56.09\00:20:00.66 And time in Heaven can be different than time on Earth. 00:20:00.66\00:20:03.50 It may have been 20 hours up there 00:20:03.50\00:20:05.17 and seemed like four hours here, I don't know. 00:20:05.17\00:20:07.40 Nothing's too hard for the Lord 00:20:07.40\00:20:08.80 when you study the theory of relatively and time travel. 00:20:08.80\00:20:12.54 (Doug laughing) 00:20:12.54\00:20:13.88 But so then Jesus continued to go to and from Heaven 00:20:13.88\00:20:17.95 and appeared to the disciples on Earth 00:20:17.95\00:20:20.68 over a period of 40 days. 00:20:20.68\00:20:22.55 When He made His final ascent, the way I understand it, 00:20:22.55\00:20:26.89 10 days before Pentecost, 00:20:26.89\00:20:29.16 and He ascended somewhere by Bethany with many witnesses, 00:20:29.16\00:20:32.56 at least the 12 Apostles were witnessing that. 00:20:32.56\00:20:34.93 - In Acts 1. 00:20:34.93\00:20:36.97 - [Doug] Yeah. 00:20:36.97\00:20:37.80 - Verse 12. 00:20:37.80\00:20:38.63 Actually, verse nine. 00:20:38.63\00:20:39.73 - Right. 00:20:39.73\00:20:40.57 So I think the Lord, 00:20:40.57\00:20:41.84 He was not restricted to Heaven or Earth, 00:20:41.84\00:20:43.71 He was going to and from Heaven 00:20:43.71\00:20:45.74 from the time of His resurrection until His final 00:20:45.74\00:20:49.54 ascension in Acts 1. 00:20:51.75\00:20:52.71 Like I said, 40 days after. 00:20:52.71\00:20:54.58 So hopefully that made sense, E. Frank. 00:20:54.58\00:20:56.72 - All right, thanks for your call, E. Frank. 00:20:56.72\00:20:58.12 We got Tony listening in Indiana. 00:20:58.12\00:20:59.85 Tony, welcome to the program. 00:20:59.85\00:21:01.29 - [Tony] Hello. Thank you. 00:21:02.62\00:21:03.66 I have a question about the Queen of Sheba 00:21:03.66\00:21:06.43 giving King Solomon 666 talents of gold. 00:21:06.43\00:21:10.10 And legend is that he committed adultery with her 00:21:10.10\00:21:12.33 and had a child. 00:21:12.33\00:21:13.67 And is there a literal connection to prostitution 00:21:13.67\00:21:16.57 and the mark of the beast 00:21:16.57\00:21:17.71 beyond just selfishness and the 10 Commandments? 00:21:17.71\00:21:20.94 - All right. 00:21:20.94\00:21:22.24 Well, when you talk about the Queen of Sheba, 00:21:22.24\00:21:23.31 the notion, you'll find this in 1 Kings 10. 00:21:23.31\00:21:27.55 And Sheba was a country that was 00:21:29.42\00:21:31.55 probably somewhere in the vicinity of Saudi Arabia 00:21:31.55\00:21:34.89 or could have been Ethiopia. 00:21:34.89\00:21:37.59 They're not sure. 00:21:37.59\00:21:38.43 But they calls her, 00:21:38.43\00:21:39.53 Jesus refers to her as the Queen of the South. 00:21:39.53\00:21:41.60 And it says the Queen of the South will stand 00:21:41.60\00:21:43.47 in judgment of this generation. 00:21:43.47\00:21:45.03 She came a great distance to hear the wisdom of Solomon. 00:21:45.03\00:21:47.97 And Jesus said, "Now a greater than Solomon is here." 00:21:47.97\00:21:51.41 And so Jesus speaks of her in a very positive way. 00:21:51.41\00:21:56.21 The idea that she had an affair with Solomon, 00:21:56.21\00:21:59.48 there's not a shred, a thread, 00:21:59.48\00:22:01.12 of anything in the Bible that hints of that. 00:22:01.12\00:22:03.62 She came with purely altruistic motives of seeking wisdom, 00:22:03.62\00:22:08.52 and Solomon answered her questions and she gave a gift. 00:22:08.52\00:22:12.53 It was customary that when you go visit a King, 00:22:12.53\00:22:14.60 you give a gift. 00:22:14.60\00:22:15.93 And if royalty visits royalty, it's a big gift. 00:22:15.93\00:22:18.60 I do think the number 666 is interesting because, 00:22:18.60\00:22:21.90 when you read the account of Solomon, 00:22:21.90\00:22:23.44 everything continues to go from glory to glory 00:22:23.44\00:22:26.14 until you get to chapter 10. 00:22:26.14\00:22:28.91 And right after it says he received 666 talents, 00:22:28.91\00:22:33.11 you then read in the next chapter, 00:22:33.11\00:22:34.85 "But Solomon loved many foreign women." 00:22:34.85\00:22:37.82 Now it mentions the women, 00:22:37.82\00:22:39.32 but it never mentions the Queen of Sheba. 00:22:39.32\00:22:42.42 This was the daughter of Pharaoh and the Moabites 00:22:42.42\00:22:44.09 and Edomites and Hittites. 00:22:44.09\00:22:45.63 These are local women he ended up intermarrying with. 00:22:45.63\00:22:48.46 Never says anything about having a marriage or an affair. 00:22:48.46\00:22:51.57 I mean, he had 300 wives and what was it? 00:22:51.57\00:22:54.00 600 wives, 300 concubines. 00:22:54.00\00:22:56.34 He didn't need one more. 00:22:56.34\00:22:57.77 And we don't know, she might have been 70 years old. 00:22:59.21\00:23:01.01 The Bible doesn't tell us anything about that. 00:23:01.01\00:23:03.85 It seems, Pastor, that this was an official state visit. 00:23:03.85\00:23:06.75 - [Doug] Yes. 00:23:06.75\00:23:07.85 - I think the point it's even mentioned is that 00:23:07.85\00:23:09.18 Solomon's fame not only reached to the area close to Israel, 00:23:09.18\00:23:12.29 but his fame had reached all the way down 00:23:12.29\00:23:14.02 to quite possibly Ethiopia to the Queen of Sheba, 00:23:14.02\00:23:17.46 and she said, "I've gotta come see for myself." 00:23:17.46\00:23:19.73 - [Doug] Yeah. 00:23:19.73\00:23:20.83 - "I've gotta see if these things are so." 00:23:20.83\00:23:22.16 So it was an official state visit and she was amazed, 00:23:22.16\00:23:24.43 not so much by the majesty of Jerusalem and Solomon 00:23:24.43\00:23:28.34 and the wealth, 00:23:28.34\00:23:29.70 but just the wisdom and the God that he worshiped. 00:23:29.70\00:23:32.37 - Mm-hmm. 00:23:32.37\00:23:33.78 And everything looked really good in the story of Israel 00:23:33.78\00:23:36.31 until you hear that number 666, and then it says: 00:23:36.31\00:23:39.81 But he loved many foreign. 00:23:39.81\00:23:41.18 And the kingdom starts going south, pardon me for the pun. 00:23:41.18\00:23:44.22 Starts going bad direction after that number. 00:23:44.22\00:23:46.82 So that I always thought was interesting 00:23:46.82\00:23:48.99 and probably not a coincidence. 00:23:48.99\00:23:50.66 - Hey, thank you, Eric. I hope that made some sense. 00:23:50.66\00:23:52.73 - Alright. We've got Jill listening from Florida. 00:23:52.73\00:23:54.83 Jill, welcome to the program. You're on the air. 00:23:54.83\00:23:57.60 - [Jill] Yes, hi Pastors. How are you tonight? 00:23:57.60\00:24:00.57 - Fine. Thank you, Jill. I appreciate your calling. 00:24:00.57\00:24:03.17 - [Jill] I have a question. 00:24:04.54\00:24:05.67 I don't know if I'm wording this right, 00:24:05.67\00:24:07.81 but when God created Adam and Eve, what color were they? 00:24:07.81\00:24:12.88 Because I'm trying to find out 00:24:13.68\00:24:15.88 how did all these races come to be 00:24:15.88\00:24:18.59 if they were just a certain color? 00:24:18.59\00:24:21.46 - You know, a good answer for that question is 00:24:21.46\00:24:24.06 the same answer when people say, 00:24:24.06\00:24:25.46 "Where did all the languages come from? 00:24:25.46\00:24:27.36 "There's so many different languages, 00:24:27.36\00:24:28.76 "what language did Adam and Eve speak?" 00:24:28.76\00:24:31.63 Well, Adam and Eve probably spoke an original tongue, 00:24:31.63\00:24:34.60 and everything we talk, we use now as sort of like fragments 00:24:34.60\00:24:38.14 of that original language of Canaan and Eden. 00:24:38.14\00:24:40.78 So at the Tower of Babel, when everybody was scattered, 00:24:42.11\00:24:45.75 different groups stayed together 00:24:45.75\00:24:47.78 and through intermarriage within a smaller pool, 00:24:47.78\00:24:52.12 a smaller gene pool, 00:24:52.12\00:24:53.69 different genetic traits became predominant. 00:24:53.69\00:24:56.86 And so some have said, "Well, the three children of Noah 00:24:56.86\00:25:01.60 "formed the three major races of the world." 00:25:01.60\00:25:04.93 I've heard people say that before and it's really, 00:25:04.93\00:25:06.63 it's not true at all that Noah had three kids 00:25:06.63\00:25:10.74 and one was black and one was white and one was Asian, 00:25:10.74\00:25:13.41 or something like that. 00:25:13.41\00:25:14.21 I've actually heard that. 00:25:14.21\00:25:15.88 But the division didn't really happen until 00:25:15.88\00:25:18.91 the Tower of Babel, 00:25:18.91\00:25:19.95 the same time the languages were divided. 00:25:19.95\00:25:22.62 And you even see this with animals around the world. 00:25:22.62\00:25:26.62 You're gonna see a difference in the canines 00:25:26.62\00:25:29.12 that you find in America 00:25:29.12\00:25:31.16 than the ones you're gonna find like the African wolves, 00:25:31.16\00:25:34.13 they're spotted black and white dog. 00:25:34.13\00:25:37.37 - [Jean] Hyenas. Yeah. 00:25:37.37\00:25:38.17 - And then you got hyenas 00:25:38.17\00:25:39.40 and then you come to America, you get the coyotes, 00:25:39.40\00:25:40.77 and you go, "Well, because they're kinda isolated, 00:25:40.77\00:25:42.87 "they breed and certain genetic traits become prominent." 00:25:42.87\00:25:47.08 What color were Adam and Eve? 00:25:47.08\00:25:48.61 Probably like a melding of all, I don't know, 00:25:49.71\00:25:53.95 that would be tan or something. 00:25:53.95\00:25:55.48 I'm not sure. 00:25:55.48\00:25:56.48 I think the word Adam is like the word edum, 00:25:57.62\00:25:59.72 it means ruddy or reddish is what I've heard. 00:25:59.72\00:26:02.89 But I know that's what the word means, 00:26:02.89\00:26:04.86 but I can't picture Adam being red. 00:26:04.86\00:26:06.73 - You know the interesting thing is that 00:26:06.73\00:26:07.73 God gave, in creating Adam and Eve, 00:26:07.73\00:26:10.40 He gave incredible diversity within the gene pool 00:26:10.40\00:26:13.67 so that there is a certain degree of adaptation 00:26:13.67\00:26:16.17 to the environment where they went. 00:26:16.17\00:26:17.71 - [Doug] Yeah. 00:26:17.71\00:26:18.57 - Those who went to hotter areas, 00:26:18.57\00:26:19.91 their skin color began to change to help with the heat. 00:26:19.91\00:26:22.48 Those who went to cold areas, 00:26:22.48\00:26:23.85 their skin became lighter to absorb more sunlight. 00:26:23.85\00:26:27.15 And so all of that was built into the genes of Adam and Eve 00:26:27.15\00:26:30.65 for all of the different groups 00:26:30.65\00:26:32.02 and all of the different races that we see today. 00:26:32.02\00:26:33.72 It's amazing. 00:26:33.72\00:26:34.56 - Yeah. 00:26:34.56\00:26:35.36 And the people who were native 00:26:35.36\00:26:37.23 to the areas around the Equator 00:26:37.23\00:26:38.59 are a lot less susceptible to skin cancer from the sun. 00:26:38.59\00:26:42.20 - [Jean] Mm-hmm. 00:26:42.20\00:26:43.70 - God gave them some mechanisms to resist that. 00:26:43.70\00:26:46.17 All right, I hope that helps a little bit. 00:26:47.27\00:26:48.74 We appreciate your question, Jill. 00:26:48.74\00:26:50.61 (soft upbeat music) 00:26:50.61\00:26:51.81 - So friends, don't go away. 00:26:51.81\00:26:52.87 We're gonna be right back. 00:26:52.87\00:26:53.68 If you have a Bible question, 00:26:53.68\00:26:54.78 the number to call is 800-463-7297. 00:26:54.78\00:26:58.61 And right after the break, 00:26:58.61\00:26:59.91 we will take more of your Bible questions. 00:26:59.91\00:27:01.48 We'll be right back. 00:27:01.48\00:27:02.98 (victorious orchestral music) 00:27:04.02\00:27:07.32 - [Announcer] Stay tuned. 00:27:07.32\00:27:08.46 "Bible Answers Live" will return shortly. 00:27:08.46\00:27:10.86 - [Announcer] Did you know that Noah was present 00:27:15.36\00:27:17.03 at the birth of Abraham? 00:27:17.03\00:27:18.73 Okay, maybe he wasn't in the room, but he was alive 00:27:18.73\00:27:22.40 and probably telling stories about his floating zoo. 00:27:22.40\00:27:25.91 From the creation of the world 00:27:25.91\00:27:27.51 to the last day events of Revelation, 00:27:27.51\00:27:29.84 Biblehistory.com is a free resource where 00:27:29.84\00:27:32.61 you can explore major Bible events and characters, 00:27:32.61\00:27:35.92 enhance your knowledge of the Bible, 00:27:35.92\00:27:37.99 and draw closer to God's Word. 00:27:37.99\00:27:40.26 Go deeper. 00:27:40.26\00:27:41.56 Visit Biblehistory.com. 00:27:41.56\00:27:43.59 (relaxing music) 00:27:45.53\00:27:47.30 - [Announcer] "Amazing Facts" offers 00:27:47.30\00:27:48.66 some of the best Christian resources for all ages. 00:27:48.66\00:27:51.70 We hope our products will enrich your life 00:27:51.70\00:27:53.54 and your walk with the Lord. 00:27:53.54\00:27:55.00 What does Bible prophecy reveal about 00:27:56.04\00:27:57.97 the world's two largest religions? 00:27:57.97\00:28:00.11 Explore the ancient conflict in, 00:28:00.11\00:28:01.88 "Islam, Christianity and Prophecy," 00:28:01.88\00:28:04.21 a compelling three-part series with Pastor Doug Batchelor. 00:28:04.21\00:28:08.25 - [Announcer] Get yours today by calling 800-538-7275 00:28:08.25\00:28:12.95 or visit afbookstore.com. 00:28:12.95\00:28:16.12 (dramatic music) 00:28:16.12\00:28:17.69 - [Announcer] What if you could know the future? 00:28:17.69\00:28:20.20 What would you do? 00:28:21.50\00:28:22.80 What would you change? 00:28:23.67\00:28:26.23 To see the future, you must understand the past. 00:28:26.23\00:28:30.54 - [Instructor] Alexander the Great 00:28:30.54\00:28:31.87 becomes King when he's only 18, but he's a military prodigy. 00:28:31.87\00:28:35.14 - [Instructor] 150 Years in advance, 00:28:36.28\00:28:38.21 Cyrus had been named. 00:28:38.21\00:28:39.81 - [Instructor] Nebuchadnezzar built this city 00:28:41.12\00:28:42.75 as a showcase to the entire world. 00:28:42.75\00:28:45.12 - [Instructor] Rome was violent. 00:28:46.12\00:28:48.62 They were ruthless. 00:30:53.52\00:30:54.68 - [Shawanda] My question is according to 00:30:54.68\00:30:56.55 the Parable of the sower in Mark 4, Luke 8 and Matthew 13, 00:30:56.55\00:31:01.52 where it talks about the seed was on four 00:31:03.26\00:31:06.73 or three ground, the stony, the thorny, 00:31:06.73\00:31:09.33 and there was one ground that produces good fruit, 00:31:09.33\00:31:12.50 30, 60, and a hundredfold. 00:31:13.30\00:31:14.60 So my question is, what happens to those who produce, 00:31:14.60\00:31:18.47 who don't produce? 00:31:18.47\00:31:20.41 The stony and the thorny ground? 00:31:20.41\00:31:21.58 Is it either loss of reward 00:31:21.58\00:31:23.88 or are they literally banished out of the Kingdom? 00:31:25.18\00:31:27.72 - Well, the first one is the seed that falls on the pathway. 00:31:27.72\00:31:31.02 It's not the stony ground or the shallow ground. 00:31:31.02\00:31:34.32 And the ravens snatch it away and Jesus later explains that 00:31:34.32\00:31:38.06 when some people hear the Word, the devil then comes 00:31:38.06\00:31:41.06 and takes it out of their heart so that 00:31:41.06\00:31:43.26 they become unproductive. 00:31:43.26\00:31:44.83 But what's your understanding of that, Pastor Ross? 00:31:46.20\00:31:49.57 - Yeah, absolutely. 00:31:49.57\00:31:50.54 We got the seed is the Word 00:31:50.54\00:31:53.44 and the grounds represent the hearts that receive the Word. 00:31:53.44\00:31:57.11 So we wanna be the fruitful ground that produces a harvest. 00:31:57.11\00:32:00.25 Those that have stony ground, 00:32:00.25\00:32:02.18 it means their hearts are not right for the gospel. 00:32:02.18\00:32:05.02 Unfortunately, some have rejected the gospel 00:32:05.02\00:32:07.29 because they've held into the things of this world. 00:32:07.29\00:32:10.16 And ultimately, it is costing their salvation. 00:32:10.16\00:32:12.89 Is that answering your question a little bit, Shawanda? 00:32:14.13\00:32:16.26 - [Shawanda] Well, the thorny ground is my question. 00:32:16.26\00:32:18.07 Like, they're producing. 00:32:18.07\00:32:19.97 I mean, they receive the Word, 00:32:19.97\00:32:21.34 but then if cares of this life 00:32:21.34\00:32:24.71 and things come in to choke the Word, 00:32:24.71\00:32:26.91 that it's unfruitful, is that just a loss of reward 00:32:26.91\00:32:29.91 or are these literally not entering to the Kingdom? 00:32:29.91\00:32:33.88 Those people who the Word was received, 00:32:34.98\00:32:37.52 but the cares, everything in life just choked out the Word 00:32:37.52\00:32:40.72 that where they were unfruitful? 00:32:40.72\00:32:42.29 Are they just not entering into the Kingdom of God? 00:32:42.29\00:32:45.56 Or- 00:32:45.56\00:32:46.63 - Yeah, I think that in the parable, 00:32:46.63\00:32:47.96 there's only one out of the four that is described as saved. 00:32:47.96\00:32:52.27 The other ones become distracted with the world 00:32:52.27\00:32:54.40 or they spring up 00:32:54.40\00:32:55.97 and then they wither soon because they have no root. 00:32:55.97\00:32:58.97 The only one that really thrives 00:32:58.97\00:33:00.68 and is alive is the fourth category. 00:33:00.68\00:33:02.88 - You know, Jesus said, 00:33:02.88\00:33:03.95 "He that endures to the end shall be saved." 00:33:03.95\00:33:06.61 So there needs to be an endurance. 00:33:06.61\00:33:09.05 It's not good enough just to receive Christ 00:33:09.05\00:33:11.35 as your personal Savior 00:33:11.35\00:33:12.85 and then allow the world to crowd Him out, 00:33:12.85\00:33:15.42 we wanna receive Christ and hold onto Him. 00:33:15.42\00:33:17.83 That's why the Apostle Paul said, "I die daily." 00:33:17.83\00:33:19.83 So it's a day by day experience where we come to Christ 00:33:19.83\00:33:22.76 and we ask for forgiveness 00:33:22.76\00:33:24.27 and we receive His grace and we trust in Him. 00:33:24.27\00:33:26.47 So it's not a one time thing. 00:33:26.47\00:33:28.04 If it's a one time experience, 00:33:28.04\00:33:29.40 then that experience could very well be over-choked 00:33:29.40\00:33:32.27 or overcome by the cares of this world. 00:33:32.27\00:33:34.71 - That's right. 00:33:34.71\00:33:35.78 - So we wanna be that fruitful soil. 00:33:35.78\00:33:37.08 All right, thanks for your call, Shawanda. Appreciate that. 00:33:37.08\00:33:39.28 We have Ellen listening in New Mexico. 00:33:39.28\00:33:41.75 Ellen, welcome to the program. 00:33:41.75\00:33:43.79 - [Ellen] Hi. 00:33:43.79\00:33:44.89 I wondered if you could explain to me 00:33:44.89\00:33:48.26 what the references in the Bible to the towers falling. 00:33:48.26\00:33:53.13 Did that have anything to do with the Twin Towers? 00:33:53.13\00:33:56.46 - No, I don't think so. 00:33:58.10\00:33:59.10 And there is a passage in, 00:33:59.10\00:34:01.40 I don't know if it's talking- 00:34:01.40\00:34:03.00 In the question I think you mentioned Judges, 00:34:03.00\00:34:05.01 but in the Book of Isaiah, 00:34:05.01\00:34:07.91 it talks about, I think it's Isaiah, 00:34:07.91\00:34:09.58 where it says, "The towers fall." 00:34:09.58\00:34:11.48 But they had watch towers in all of the capitals 00:34:11.48\00:34:16.12 and Isaiah often, a lot of his prophecies have to do with 00:34:16.12\00:34:19.29 the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians 00:34:19.29\00:34:21.12 because of their unfaithfulness. 00:34:21.12\00:34:22.96 And the walls were destroyed and the towers fell. 00:34:22.96\00:34:25.76 There is a time where it talks about, 00:34:27.03\00:34:28.80 Jesus refers to a tower that fell on those of Siloam 00:34:28.80\00:34:32.60 and 18 men were killed. 00:34:32.60\00:34:36.10 But I don't think those are talking about 9/11. 00:34:36.10\00:34:39.37 - Not specifically, but I think the principles that we find 00:34:39.37\00:34:41.91 that as we near the end of time, 00:34:41.91\00:34:43.31 judgment will increase just like judgment that came upon 00:34:43.31\00:34:45.85 Sodom and Gomorrah and these other sinful cities. 00:34:45.85\00:34:48.52 I think as we near the end of time, 00:34:48.52\00:34:50.35 the cities are gonna become judged to some degree 00:34:50.35\00:34:54.69 and the wickedness that is so ripe in the cities. 00:34:54.69\00:34:58.56 And God in His mercy is still allowing 00:34:58.56\00:35:00.60 a certain degree of protection and freedom, 00:35:00.60\00:35:02.36 but just in the last year, Pastor Doug, 00:35:02.36\00:35:04.23 we've seen an increase of violence in the cities. 00:35:04.23\00:35:07.70 I think that is to some degree, a warning for believers. 00:35:07.70\00:35:10.57 - Yeah. 00:35:10.57\00:35:11.94 And the verse I think she's talking about is Isaiah 30:25. 00:35:11.94\00:35:14.61 It says: 00:35:14.61\00:35:15.98 There will be on every high mountain, on every high hill, 00:35:15.98\00:35:17.95 rivers and streams of waters in the day of great slaughter 00:35:17.95\00:35:21.65 when the towers fall. 00:35:21.65\00:35:23.82 And so some have looked at that passage, that verse there, 00:35:23.82\00:35:26.92 and they said, "Oh, that's talking about the Twin Towers." 00:35:26.92\00:35:29.32 Well, in World War I, with the bombing, 00:35:29.32\00:35:32.13 a lot of towers fell. 00:35:32.13\00:35:33.23 In World War II, a lot of towers fell. 00:35:33.23\00:35:35.30 And this was another example of a judgment 00:35:35.30\00:35:37.50 or certainly a trial when the towers fell. 00:35:37.50\00:35:40.67 I don't think Isaiah was specifically talking about 00:35:40.67\00:35:43.44 9/11 here. 00:35:43.44\00:35:44.77 - But I think the tower in that context is a military tower. 00:35:44.77\00:35:47.28 It's part of a stronghold or a city, 00:35:47.28\00:35:49.71 not a financial building. 00:35:49.71\00:35:50.81 - Yep. There you go. 00:35:50.81\00:35:51.68 Good. Good answer. 00:35:51.68\00:35:53.05 - All right. Well, thank you for your call, Ellen. 00:35:53.05\00:35:54.08 We've got Marquis listening from Indiana. 00:35:54.08\00:35:56.69 Marquis, welcome to the program. 00:35:56.69\00:35:59.02 - [Marquis] Hey, how are you guys doing today? 00:35:59.02\00:36:00.76 - Doing well. Thanks for calling. 00:36:00.76\00:36:02.56 - [Marquis] Alrighty, my question- 00:36:02.56\00:36:03.99 Thank you. 00:36:03.99\00:36:05.36 My question comes from John 21:15, when Jesus asked Simon, 00:36:05.36\00:36:09.43 He said, "Son." 00:36:10.40\00:36:11.50 He said, "Simon, son of Jonah, 00:36:11.50\00:36:12.87 "do you love me more than these?" 00:36:12.87\00:36:14.77 Was that the same Jonah 00:36:14.77\00:36:16.10 that was mentioned in the Old Testament? 00:36:16.10\00:36:18.57 - No. 00:36:18.57\00:36:19.91 In the New Testament, 00:36:19.91\00:36:21.21 there are a number of people that were named after 00:36:21.21\00:36:23.55 Old Testament heroes. 00:36:23.55\00:36:26.05 And Jonah was, of course, 00:36:26.05\00:36:27.52 a very popular Old Testament character 00:36:27.52\00:36:30.82 and Peter's father was evidently named Jonah. 00:36:30.82\00:36:35.19 And so Jesus referred to him as Peter, the son of Jonah, 00:36:35.19\00:36:39.49 or Peter bar Jonah, bar means son of. 00:36:39.49\00:36:42.43 Jesus was called Jesus, the son of Joseph. 00:36:42.43\00:36:45.07 And so it's not the Jonah from the Old Testament, 00:36:45.07\00:36:47.24 this is Peter's father. 00:36:47.24\00:36:48.84 Jonah was a very common name. 00:36:48.84\00:36:51.21 It means dove. 00:36:51.21\00:36:52.94 And 00:36:52.94\00:36:54.58 so, yeah. 00:36:54.58\00:36:56.38 Same name, different people. 00:36:56.38\00:36:58.11 You got several people in the Bible that have similar names. 00:36:58.11\00:37:01.35 There's more than one person named Moses. 00:37:01.35\00:37:03.05 There's several people named John. 00:37:03.05\00:37:04.42 There's even two or three named Jesus. 00:37:04.42\00:37:06.52 - That's interesting. 00:37:06.52\00:37:07.79 You got Saul who converts and becomes Paul. 00:37:07.79\00:37:09.16 But if you look at the Old Testament character of Saul, 00:37:09.16\00:37:11.83 it's probably not somebody you wanna name your son after. 00:37:11.83\00:37:14.00 - Yeah. 00:37:14.00\00:37:15.06 - And yet, Saul was a popular name, 00:37:15.06\00:37:16.40 at least as far as we know back in Bible times. 00:37:16.40\00:37:18.50 - Well, he was good for a while. 00:37:18.50\00:37:19.67 - Yeah, he was. (Doug laughing) 00:37:19.67\00:37:20.60 - He was. 00:37:20.60\00:37:21.70 All right. Thanks for your call, Marquis. 00:37:21.70\00:37:23.07 We got Barbara listening in Sacramento, California. 00:37:23.07\00:37:25.71 Barbara, welcome to the program. 00:37:25.71\00:37:27.58 - [Barbara] Oh, thank you, Pastor. 00:37:27.58\00:37:29.78 My question is I'm thinking when God sent His beloved Son 00:37:29.78\00:37:34.85 to Earth to suffer and die for us, 00:37:35.95\00:37:37.95 and I cannot visualize a loving Father 00:37:37.95\00:37:42.19 sending His Son to suffer. 00:37:42.19\00:37:44.76 And I'm wondering why God Himself didn't just come down 00:37:44.76\00:37:48.53 to suffer for us. 00:37:48.53\00:37:49.63 Why did He send someone He loved? 00:37:49.63\00:37:52.40 - Well, it's not that God the Father ordered His Son. 00:37:52.40\00:37:56.17 The Father and the Son seen the dilemma of mankind 00:37:56.17\00:38:00.48 and they knew the only way to redeem mankind 00:38:00.48\00:38:02.74 was if one of them paid. 00:38:02.74\00:38:05.21 And by the way, all three of them suffered. 00:38:05.21\00:38:08.95 God the Father, the Son, 00:38:08.95\00:38:10.05 and the Holy Spirit all suffered equally. 00:38:10.05\00:38:12.29 In some ways you'd think the Father suffered more. 00:38:12.29\00:38:15.22 Any parent, when you see your children suffering seriously, 00:38:15.22\00:38:18.53 you'd often say, "I would trade places with them 00:38:18.53\00:38:20.56 "rather than see them suffer." 00:38:20.56\00:38:22.26 So this was done. 00:38:23.16\00:38:25.00 It was a cooperative decision. 00:38:25.00\00:38:27.47 And keep in mind, we broke the law of the Creator. 00:38:27.47\00:38:31.54 The Bible tells us that all things that were created 00:38:31.54\00:38:34.08 were created by Jesus the Son. 00:38:34.08\00:38:36.31 And so here, you've got the Creator dying for His creation 00:38:36.31\00:38:40.58 and the Father allowing that. 00:38:41.38\00:38:44.45 He so loved the world, He gave His Son. 00:38:44.45\00:38:46.89 - You know Pastor Doug, 00:38:46.89\00:38:47.99 that was the point I was just gonna mention is 00:38:47.99\00:38:49.82 that famous verse: 00:38:49.82\00:38:50.93 For God so loved the world that He gave 00:38:50.93\00:38:52.63 His only begotten Son. 00:38:52.63\00:38:54.00 It wasn't a requirement. 00:38:54.00\00:38:55.40 The Father didn't say, "All right, Son, you need to go." 00:38:55.40\00:38:58.53 But out of love for us- - [Doug] He allowed it. 00:38:58.53\00:39:00.37 - He gave His Son, and what a sacrifice. 00:39:00.37\00:39:02.54 - [Doug] Yeah. 00:39:02.54\00:39:03.57 - So the Father suffered and the Son. 00:39:03.57\00:39:04.67 And just speaking from a parent's perspective, 00:39:04.67\00:39:06.84 how hard it must have been for God the Father 00:39:06.84\00:39:09.04 to witness what they did to His Son 00:39:09.04\00:39:11.61 and to go through all of that. 00:39:11.61\00:39:12.41 It's just without a doubt, 00:39:12.41\00:39:14.35 the Father suffered greatly because of man's sin. 00:39:14.35\00:39:17.42 - Yeah, absolutely. 00:39:17.42\00:39:18.39 - Does that help, Barbara? 00:39:18.39\00:39:19.75 - [Barbara] Yes, it does. 00:39:20.72\00:39:21.79 But now you just brought up another question. 00:39:21.79\00:39:24.29 I thought God didn't have any emotions, 00:39:24.29\00:39:27.30 so how could He suffer? 00:39:27.30\00:39:29.43 - Now, why would you think God has no emotions? 00:39:29.43\00:39:32.70 - [Barbara] Well, how could He? 00:39:32.70\00:39:35.00 I mean, He is God. 00:39:35.00\00:39:36.17 He just exists. 00:39:36.17\00:39:37.67 - Well, the Bible says we're made in God's image 00:39:37.67\00:39:41.01 and we are fraught with emotions. 00:39:41.01\00:39:43.28 And God, the Bible says, has joy. 00:39:43.28\00:39:46.05 The Bible says God sings. 00:39:46.05\00:39:47.58 We get our emotions from Him. 00:39:47.58\00:39:48.82 We're made in His image. 00:39:48.82\00:39:50.15 The Bible tells us that God has anger, He has wrath, 00:39:50.15\00:39:53.69 He has jealousy. 00:39:53.69\00:39:54.82 (Doug laughing) 00:39:54.82\00:39:55.62 He says, "I'm a jealous God." 00:39:55.62\00:39:57.86 So every spectrum of emotion people have. 00:39:57.86\00:40:01.43 But now God's emotions are only going to be in harmony 00:40:01.43\00:40:04.40 with good. 00:40:04.40\00:40:06.47 Sometimes we'll have misplaced jealousy 00:40:06.47\00:40:08.47 or misplaced emotions. 00:40:08.47\00:40:10.24 God's are always coming from love 00:40:10.24\00:40:12.14 and love can be an emotion. 00:40:12.14\00:40:13.54 - Love's an emotion. 00:40:13.54\00:40:14.38 Yeah, absolutely. 00:40:14.38\00:40:15.61 - So, yes, God does, definitely does, have feelings 00:40:15.61\00:40:18.38 and Jesus loves us desperately. 00:40:18.38\00:40:20.62 There's a verse in the Bible in Deuteronomy 5 where 00:40:20.62\00:40:23.08 God says, "Oh." 00:40:23.08\00:40:24.99 And just that phrase. He says, "Oh." 00:40:24.99\00:40:27.06 And even when it says in John 3:16: God so loved the world. 00:40:27.06\00:40:31.76 You know, that phrase kind of denotes passion. 00:40:31.76\00:40:36.23 And He says, "Oh, that there was such a heart in them 00:40:36.23\00:40:38.20 "that they would fear me and keep my Commandments always." 00:40:38.20\00:40:41.00 And in Genesis, God says, 00:40:41.00\00:40:42.34 "It broke God's heart that He made man." 00:40:42.34\00:40:45.01 And He said, "I'm gonna clean the Earth from them 00:40:45.01\00:40:47.18 "except for Noah." 00:40:47.18\00:40:48.31 - Yeah. 00:40:48.31\00:40:49.88 - Yeah. You see the passion of God many places in the Bible. 00:40:49.88\00:40:51.11 - Even in the Old Testament, Pastor Doug, 00:40:51.11\00:40:52.65 you got God saying, "Oh, turn, turn. Why will you perish?" 00:40:52.65\00:40:56.48 - [Doug] Yeah. Pleading. 00:40:56.48\00:40:57.79 - And He's crying out, saying, "Please stop." 00:40:57.79\00:40:59.09 Without a doubt, 00:40:59.09\00:41:00.26 some beautiful emotion displayed in the Bible. 00:41:00.26\00:41:02.19 All right. Well, thank you for your call, Barbara. 00:41:02.19\00:41:03.56 We're gonna go to Kathy in Tennessee. 00:41:03.56\00:41:05.96 Kathy, welcome to the program. 00:41:05.96\00:41:07.50 - [Kathy] Well, thanks to Facebook, 00:41:07.50\00:41:09.06 I'm calling you guys this evening, surprisingly, 00:41:09.06\00:41:12.97 but I don't think by accident. 00:41:12.97\00:41:15.07 So my question is around receiving the gifts of the 00:41:15.07\00:41:20.14 Spirit. I don't have scripture to offer you, 00:41:21.14\00:41:22.84 only a question and hoping that you can 00:41:22.84\00:41:25.35 provide me perhaps with some living guidance, 00:41:27.02\00:41:29.92 scripturally-based, as this actually happened to me, 00:41:29.92\00:41:34.46 about a year ago, very unexpectedly. 00:41:34.46\00:41:39.09 I found myself praying one day 00:41:39.09\00:41:41.90 and I wound up 00:41:41.90\00:41:45.50 speaking in tongues 00:41:45.50\00:41:46.74 and it was utterly overwhelming. 00:41:46.74\00:41:49.50 Not something I've ever aspired to do, 00:41:49.50\00:41:51.87 not something I've ever known anyone to do. 00:41:51.87\00:41:54.14 I didn't even know what it sounded like or it looked like, 00:41:54.14\00:41:57.05 and then there I was doing it. 00:41:57.05\00:41:58.68 And what's the best way to process that, 00:42:00.25\00:42:03.95 receive that and shepherd it? 00:42:03.95\00:42:06.35 And then beyond that, what is going on? 00:42:06.35\00:42:09.12 In the world today, 00:42:09.12\00:42:10.43 is there a abundant outpouring of the Spirit going on? 00:42:10.43\00:42:14.00 Because the same thing happened to my aunt 00:42:14.00\00:42:17.57 about the same time it happened to me. 00:42:17.57\00:42:20.30 - Well, now you attend church? 00:42:20.30\00:42:22.07 - [Barbara] I do. 00:42:23.51\00:42:24.51 I'm not going as regularly as I used to. 00:42:24.51\00:42:27.21 I've been slow to get back in. 00:42:27.21\00:42:28.71 - Okay. 00:42:28.71\00:42:29.54 - [Barbara] Since COVID. 00:42:29.54\00:42:30.38 But I do. 00:42:30.38\00:42:31.21 - All right. 00:42:31.21\00:42:32.01 So the church that you go to, 00:42:32.01\00:42:33.31 do the people there believe in 00:42:33.31\00:42:34.62 and practice praying in tongues? 00:42:34.62\00:42:36.52 - No. No. 00:42:36.52\00:42:37.79 - So this is a little unusual for your church, even? 00:42:37.79\00:42:39.79 - [Barbara] Very. 00:42:39.79\00:42:40.82 - Yeah. 00:42:40.82\00:42:41.69 - [Barbara] It's unusual for any. 00:42:41.69\00:42:43.12 This has never happened to anyone in my family, 00:42:43.12\00:42:45.06 that I know of, and really no one else that I know. 00:42:45.06\00:42:47.30 - All right. Well, let's talk about that for just a minute. 00:42:47.30\00:42:49.20 Now, if you're wanting to process 00:42:49.20\00:42:51.57 if what I'm doing is right or wrong or what to do with it, 00:42:51.57\00:42:55.00 first place you wanna look is in the Word. 00:42:55.00\00:42:57.91 So in the Word, Jesus is our example. 00:42:57.91\00:43:00.94 Do you find an example where Jesus prays in tongues 00:43:02.24\00:43:04.88 in the Bible? 00:43:04.88\00:43:05.78 - [Barbara] Um, well, I guess I need to look. 00:43:08.62\00:43:10.95 (Barbara laughing) 00:43:10.95\00:43:12.09 - Well I guess I'll give you the answer. 00:43:12.09\00:43:13.59 The answer's no. 00:43:13.59\00:43:14.49 - [Barbara] Okay. 00:43:15.52\00:43:16.62 - There's three examples of speaking in tongues 00:43:16.62\00:43:19.23 in the Bible. 00:43:19.23\00:43:20.06 It's Acts 2, Acts 10, 00:43:20.06\00:43:22.83 and Acts 19. 00:43:22.83\00:43:24.67 Now, when I first became a Christian, 00:43:24.67\00:43:26.43 I'm just, you asked, I'm telling you honestly. 00:43:26.43\00:43:28.67 I first became a Christian. 00:43:28.67\00:43:30.14 I worshiped with charismatic Christians 00:43:30.14\00:43:32.17 and all of my friends spoke in tongues 00:43:32.17\00:43:33.84 and they wanted to encourage me to speak in tongues 00:43:33.84\00:43:35.64 and pray in tongues. 00:43:35.64\00:43:36.48 - [Barbara] Yeah. 00:43:36.48\00:43:37.78 - And I kept thinking, "Well, am I missing something?" 00:43:37.78\00:43:39.85 So I spent a lot of time studying this because 00:43:39.85\00:43:42.65 I certainly wanted the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 00:43:42.65\00:43:46.15 It's not uncommon that some people have been praying 00:43:46.15\00:43:48.62 and they're so overcome with emotions 00:43:48.62\00:43:50.23 that they're at a loss of words 00:43:50.23\00:43:52.16 and they may break out in some unintelligible speech, 00:43:52.16\00:43:57.00 and it sounds like what you're saying has happened. 00:43:57.00\00:44:00.17 Sometimes. - [Barbara] Yeah. 00:44:00.17\00:44:01.30 - Yeah. You can't find words and... 00:44:01.30\00:44:03.44 But now there's no meaning to what you're saying. 00:44:03.44\00:44:06.47 In other words, if you say, 00:44:06.47\00:44:07.54 "Well, what exactly did I just say?" 00:44:07.54\00:44:08.58 You probably couldn't interpret that. 00:44:08.58\00:44:10.41 Is that right? 00:44:11.35\00:44:12.18 - [Barbara] No. 00:44:12.18\00:44:13.01 - Yeah. 00:44:13.01\00:44:14.38 - [Barbara] No. I had no idea of what I was saying at all. 00:44:14.38\00:44:15.72 - So the Bible says we should pray in the Spirit, 00:44:15.72\00:44:17.42 but we should pray with the understanding. 00:44:17.42\00:44:19.19 So if you're praying a prayer, 00:44:19.19\00:44:20.92 you would wanna know, what am I asking? 00:44:20.92\00:44:23.29 And how do you know if you get an answer? 00:44:23.29\00:44:25.39 We have a book that we'd like to send you. 00:44:26.49\00:44:27.93 I think that would- 00:44:27.93\00:44:29.30 Free. 00:44:29.30\00:44:30.10 And it'll help answer that. 00:44:30.10\00:44:31.27 - [Barbara] Okay. 00:44:31.27\00:44:32.53 - And any of your friends that are listening 00:44:32.53\00:44:33.34 that have the similar question. 00:44:33.34\00:44:34.90 - Yeah, all you need to do, Kathy, is call 00:44:34.90\00:44:36.57 800-835-6747. 00:44:36.57\00:44:40.38 That is our free resource phone line. 00:44:40.38\00:44:42.04 Again, you'll see it if you're watching on Facebook, 00:44:42.04\00:44:43.95 it's on the screen. 00:44:43.95\00:44:44.95 800-835-6747. 00:44:44.95\00:44:47.52 Ask for the book, it's called, "Understanding Tongues." 00:44:47.52\00:44:50.09 That'll give you a lot of scriptures 00:44:50.09\00:44:51.42 and I think you'll find this book to be enlightening 00:44:51.42\00:44:53.79 as you compare with what the Bible says, 00:44:53.79\00:44:55.36 and it'll kind of bring into perspective your experience. 00:44:55.36\00:44:58.43 So take a look at that. 00:44:58.43\00:44:59.86 Call again, 800-835-6747. 00:44:59.86\00:45:02.63 Ask for the book, "Understanding Tongues," 00:45:02.63\00:45:04.77 and we'll be happy to send it to you right away. 00:45:04.77\00:45:07.04 Again, thank you for calling. - Thank you. 00:45:07.04\00:45:08.57 - We've got, let's see, we'll go to Bridget. 00:45:08.57\00:45:11.34 Actually, we go to Julia next in Michigan. 00:45:11.34\00:45:13.64 Julia, welcome to the program. 00:45:13.64\00:45:15.41 - [Julia] I have a question. 00:45:15.41\00:45:16.64 I'm reading through the Bible. 00:45:16.64\00:45:20.35 - Okay. 00:45:20.35\00:45:21.72 - [Julia] And I'm doing "Walk Through the Bible," 00:45:21.72\00:45:24.25 by HMS Richards. 00:45:24.25\00:45:25.75 - Yeah. 00:45:25.75\00:45:26.89 My wife's done the same study. It's a good one. 00:45:26.89\00:45:28.72 - [Julia] Yeah. Okay. 00:45:28.72\00:45:30.49 So, all right. 00:45:30.49\00:45:31.49 And I'm into Ezekiel 00:45:31.49\00:45:33.23 40 and 41, 00:45:35.63\00:45:37.13 and it talks about another temple that was going to be 00:45:37.13\00:45:42.07 built while it was described by Ezekiel. 00:45:43.04\00:45:44.94 And it was described in a lot of detail 00:45:44.94\00:45:49.41 that he talked about, but that it was never built. 00:45:50.91\00:45:54.28 So my question is, 00:45:55.98\00:45:57.45 approximately about what time would that have been built 00:45:58.79\00:46:02.69 if it had been? 00:46:02.69\00:46:04.26 And then because HMS puts in there that he says that 00:46:04.26\00:46:09.30 it would've been a fourth temple. 00:46:10.17\00:46:12.23 But there would've been Solomon's and then Zerubbabel's. 00:46:12.23\00:46:16.24 But Zerubbabel's temple was added on by Herod, 00:46:16.24\00:46:20.78 so really that was a third temple, or a second temple, 00:46:20.78\00:46:25.18 so it would've been a third temple? 00:46:25.18\00:46:26.31 - Yeah, well, no. 00:46:26.31\00:46:27.65 It would've been a fourth if it had been built. 00:46:27.65\00:46:29.58 But let me just- 00:46:29.58\00:46:30.95 This is a serious chapter. 00:46:30.95\00:46:32.95 Matter of fact, it's not only in chapter 40, 00:46:32.95\00:46:35.12 he references this temple all the way through 00:46:35.12\00:46:37.16 the end of his book. 00:46:37.16\00:46:38.23 You've got the first temple being the one in the wilderness. 00:46:39.56\00:46:42.23 It was a portable tabernacle, 00:46:42.23\00:46:43.77 but it was considered a temple. 00:46:43.77\00:46:45.10 So you got that one. 00:46:45.10\00:46:46.27 Then you have Solomon's temple. 00:46:46.27\00:46:47.77 Then you have Zerubbabel's temple, 00:46:47.77\00:46:49.64 that was modified by Herod. 00:46:49.64\00:46:51.44 And so I think HMS Richards was saying this, 00:46:51.44\00:46:55.84 if it had been built 00:46:55.84\00:46:57.21 when they came back from the Babylonian captivity, 00:46:57.21\00:46:58.98 its dimensions were bigger, it would've been a fourth. 00:46:58.98\00:47:01.88 There are two theories, two principle theories, 00:47:01.88\00:47:04.59 about what is Ezekiel's temple. 00:47:04.59\00:47:06.22 He goes to great length to give detail about it, 00:47:06.22\00:47:08.22 the rooms and the size, and it's all measured, 00:47:08.22\00:47:10.06 and an angel's showing him all this. 00:47:10.06\00:47:11.99 Some have said, "Well, if they had been obedient, 00:47:11.99\00:47:14.96 "God would've given them independence again 00:47:14.96\00:47:16.80 "and this would've been the international temple 00:47:16.80\00:47:18.60 "for the nation." 00:47:18.60\00:47:20.00 So that's one theory. 00:47:20.00\00:47:21.40 The other theory is since the New Testament tells us 00:47:21.40\00:47:24.47 that Jesus said, "Destroy this temple made with hands 00:47:24.47\00:47:26.98 "and I'll make one without hands," 00:47:26.98\00:47:28.51 and He's talking about His body, the Church, 00:47:28.51\00:47:31.01 and the Bible says the Church, we are living stones, 00:47:31.01\00:47:33.82 that we are a temple of God, 00:47:33.82\00:47:35.95 that Ezekiel is using symbolic language 00:47:35.95\00:47:38.89 to talk about God's Church. 00:47:38.89\00:47:41.82 And which adds another layer of questions. 00:47:41.82\00:47:44.99 What do all those measurements and things mean? 00:47:44.99\00:47:48.20 So we actually have a study that "Amazing Facts" has done 00:47:48.20\00:47:51.53 on "Secrets of the Sanctuary" 00:47:51.53\00:47:53.80 that you might 00:47:53.80\00:47:56.64 enjoy looking at, 00:47:56.64\00:47:57.74 where we talk about some of the symbolism 00:47:57.74\00:47:59.61 in the sanctuary services that teaches us about 00:47:59.61\00:48:01.91 the plan of salvation. 00:48:01.91\00:48:03.51 - And you're thinking about the magazine that we have 00:48:03.51\00:48:05.48 dealing magazine dealing with the sanctuary. 00:48:05.48\00:48:06.78 - And the magazine, yep. - Yep. 00:48:06.78\00:48:07.82 If you'd like to learn more about that, 00:48:07.82\00:48:08.92 for this one, you'll probably need to go to 00:48:08.92\00:48:09.72 the "Amazing Facts" website, 00:48:09.72\00:48:11.42 just amazingfacts.com or.org. 00:48:11.42\00:48:13.62 Type in there- - Divine design. 00:48:13.62\00:48:15.02 - Yep. "Divine Design" is the name of the magazine. 00:48:15.02\00:48:17.03 And you'll be able to find out more information about that. 00:48:17.03\00:48:19.96 We've got Marvins who is listening from Canada. 00:48:19.96\00:48:22.86 Marvins, welcome to the program. 00:48:22.86\00:48:24.53 - [Marvins] Hello, both of you. 00:48:26.00\00:48:27.90 - Evening. 00:48:27.90\00:48:29.17 - [Marvins] Yeah. How you are? I'm good. 00:48:29.17\00:48:30.81 My name is Marvins and I'm from Montreal, Canada, okay? 00:48:30.81\00:48:33.68 - Mm-hmm. 00:48:33.68\00:48:34.78 - [Marvins] I have a question for you. 00:48:34.78\00:48:36.38 And first of all, I'm not very good. 00:48:36.38\00:48:38.88 I speak in English, 00:48:38.88\00:48:39.91 so I hope you will understand my question. 00:48:39.91\00:48:42.65 - So far so good. 00:48:42.65\00:48:43.62 - [Marvins] So thank you. 00:48:43.62\00:48:46.45 Praise the Lord. 00:48:46.45\00:48:47.89 According to Matthew 27:52, 53, 00:48:47.89\00:48:52.96 I will read for you. 00:48:53.76\00:48:54.83 And the graves were opened 00:48:56.13\00:48:57.90 and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep 00:48:57.90\00:49:00.87 were raised. 00:49:00.87\00:49:02.14 And 53. 00:49:02.14\00:49:03.47 And coming out of the grave after His resurrection, 00:49:03.47\00:49:06.88 about Jesus, they went into the holy city 00:49:06.88\00:49:09.74 and appeared to many. 00:49:09.74\00:49:11.78 So my question is, why some other people, 00:49:11.78\00:49:15.52 the people, why some other people, 00:49:15.52\00:49:18.02 rise up after the resurrection of Him 00:49:18.02\00:49:22.39 while He said that people will only rise up 00:49:22.39\00:49:26.36 at the end of the world? 00:49:26.36\00:49:28.43 - Okay. So good question. 00:49:28.43\00:49:30.30 We understand there's a special resurrection that happens 00:49:30.30\00:49:33.23 at the time of Christ's death. 00:49:33.23\00:49:35.57 During the earthquake, during the time of His crucifixion, 00:49:35.57\00:49:38.94 the graves were split open. 00:49:38.94\00:49:41.28 And then it tells us that when He rose, 00:49:41.28\00:49:43.91 there's a small group, it's not thousands, 00:49:43.91\00:49:47.32 but there were many of the saints who had slept 00:49:47.32\00:49:49.55 that were brought out of their graves 00:49:49.55\00:49:50.92 and taken as a first fruit to Heaven. 00:49:50.92\00:49:53.22 - Mm-hmm. 00:49:53.22\00:49:54.29 And the Bible says when He ascended on high, 00:49:54.29\00:49:55.96 He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. 00:49:55.96\00:49:59.63 And that is a reference to Christ's ascension 00:49:59.63\00:50:02.06 when He ascended to Heaven. 00:50:02.06\00:50:03.43 Those who were resurrected 00:50:03.43\00:50:04.87 at the time of Christ's resurrection, 00:50:04.87\00:50:06.23 ascended as first fruits of a much bigger resurrection 00:50:06.23\00:50:09.77 that would occur at the second coming of Christ. 00:50:09.77\00:50:12.14 So who's in Heaven now? 00:50:12.14\00:50:13.54 Well, Pastor Doug, you've got Enoch, you got Elijah, 00:50:13.54\00:50:16.21 you got Moses who was resurrected and taken to Heaven, 00:50:16.21\00:50:18.81 and then you have this group. 00:50:18.81\00:50:19.88 We don't know how many are in the group, 00:50:19.88\00:50:21.38 but there is a group that was resurrected 00:50:21.38\00:50:23.28 and they're in Heaven now. 00:50:23.28\00:50:24.39 And then the rest will, of course, 00:50:24.39\00:50:25.52 be resurrected at the second coming. 00:50:25.52\00:50:27.49 - Yeah. 00:50:27.49\00:50:28.79 In the Hebrew economy, whenever they had a harvest, 00:50:28.79\00:50:30.19 they would take a handful, they called it the sheaf. 00:50:30.19\00:50:33.26 They would harvest the grain 00:50:33.26\00:50:34.56 and kinda bind up a sheaf that could be carried, 00:50:34.56\00:50:37.70 like we have bales of hay, 00:50:37.70\00:50:39.13 and they would present that to the Lord. 00:50:39.13\00:50:40.80 It's like Jesus took a trophy, a sheaf, 00:50:40.80\00:50:43.17 a first fruit to Heaven of those who will be redeemed 00:50:43.17\00:50:47.11 at the final resurrection. 00:50:47.11\00:50:49.08 But thank you. We appreciate that, Marvins. 00:50:49.08\00:50:50.75 I hope that helps a little bit. 00:50:50.75\00:50:52.71 - We've got Alancio from California. 00:50:52.71\00:50:56.15 Alancio, welcome to the program. 00:50:56.15\00:50:57.72 - [Alancio] Yes, hi. Welcome. 00:50:58.79\00:50:59.95 - Hi. Thank you. 00:50:59.95\00:51:01.16 - [Alancio] I just have one question 00:51:01.16\00:51:02.96 and it's kind of a filled question, 00:51:04.39\00:51:06.56 and I've heard both sides. 00:51:07.76\00:51:09.00 Whether the Calvinistic Reformed biblical interpretation 00:51:09.00\00:51:13.70 is more biblical than the Arminian side? 00:51:13.70\00:51:17.34 Whether it's solely on predestination 00:51:17.34\00:51:19.71 or solely based on the free will? 00:51:19.71\00:51:22.11 And I have questions in my own reference to like Romans 9, 00:51:22.11\00:51:26.25 Ephesians 1 and Ezekiel, it talks about how God 00:51:26.25\00:51:29.82 takes the heart of stone and makes a heart of flesh. 00:51:29.82\00:51:32.79 So I don't know if that happens before 00:51:32.79\00:51:34.92 and if that is necessary for someone to have faith, 00:51:34.92\00:51:37.39 or is it solely, 00:51:37.39\00:51:38.66 from my understanding what Arminians are saying, 00:51:40.00\00:51:42.30 it's just solely your faith. 00:51:42.30\00:51:43.63 If you just have faith in what the gospel says, 00:51:43.63\00:51:46.53 then that's what it is. 00:51:46.53\00:51:47.80 Or did Christ die for His people alone 00:51:47.80\00:51:49.70 and only His sheep hear His voice? 00:51:49.70\00:51:51.17 - All right. 00:51:51.17\00:51:52.67 Well, you have opened the big box of Christian questions 00:51:52.67\00:51:55.28 right there. 00:51:55.28\00:51:56.58 And for our friends that are listening, 00:51:56.58\00:51:58.75 one of the great debates among Christians, 00:51:58.75\00:52:01.12 you might call it predestination and free will, 00:52:01.12\00:52:04.12 you've got John Wesley on one side 00:52:04.12\00:52:06.29 and George Whitfield on the other, 00:52:06.29\00:52:07.69 or Calvin 00:52:07.69\00:52:09.86 and Arminius, 00:52:09.86\00:52:11.93 is where you get Arminianism, Calvinism. 00:52:11.93\00:52:14.46 And the idea is did Jesus only die 00:52:14.46\00:52:17.90 for the ones that are saved 00:52:17.90\00:52:18.93 or did He die for everybody? 00:52:18.93\00:52:20.57 We believe that Bible says Christ died for all 00:52:21.67\00:52:24.21 and that means all. 00:52:24.21\00:52:25.77 Not all took advantage of that great sacrifice. 00:52:25.77\00:52:28.94 And then the other question that's in that question is that, 00:52:28.94\00:52:33.75 does the Lord just appoint from Heaven who's gonna be saved 00:52:33.75\00:52:36.75 and then they really have no will or choice in the matter? 00:52:36.75\00:52:40.36 And Arminian Christians believe, well, 00:52:40.36\00:52:44.36 or you might even have Baptists that are called 00:52:44.36\00:52:46.03 Free Will Baptists, 00:52:46.03\00:52:47.10 they believe in people do have a choice. 00:52:47.10\00:52:49.93 To say that humans have no choice 00:52:51.10\00:52:54.14 and the majority of people will be lost, 00:52:54.14\00:52:56.34 Jesus says, "Broad is the way that leads to destruction," 00:52:56.34\00:52:59.44 that implies that God made a lot of creatures 00:52:59.44\00:53:02.11 that have no choice but to sin, 00:53:02.11\00:53:04.35 and then He's gonna punish them for sinning. 00:53:04.35\00:53:06.88 So that almost would make God sound like 00:53:06.88\00:53:09.28 an accomplice in the sin. 00:53:09.28\00:53:11.05 And that He makes creatures and said, 00:53:11.05\00:53:12.42 "I'm not gonna give you an opportunity to be saved 00:53:12.42\00:53:13.99 "or have a change of heart. 00:53:13.99\00:53:15.06 "Or you don't even have a choice, 00:53:15.06\00:53:16.12 "but I'm gonna punish you for sinning." 00:53:16.12\00:53:19.13 - You know Pastor Doug, 00:53:19.13\00:53:20.23 I think where some of the confusion is, 00:53:20.23\00:53:21.53 when you look at some of those passage in New Testament, 00:53:21.53\00:53:23.10 it talks about God predestinating some, 00:53:23.10\00:53:26.40 people think, "Well, is that has to do with salvation?" 00:53:26.40\00:53:28.30 No, it's not a predestination for salvation, 00:53:28.30\00:53:30.37 but it is God who chose, who predestined Israel 00:53:30.37\00:53:34.38 to be the people through whom the Messiah would come. 00:53:34.38\00:53:37.05 And that was a choice that God made. 00:53:37.05\00:53:39.21 So there is a distinction between individual 00:53:39.21\00:53:43.12 predestination versus a nation being chosen by God for a 00:53:43.12\00:53:46.96 specific purpose. - Right. 00:53:46.96\00:53:48.06 - And that's where the confusion comes in. 00:53:48.06\00:53:48.72 Of course, individually, 00:53:48.72\00:53:49.82 God wants each of us to choose to serve Him 00:53:49.82\00:53:52.56 and it's the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. 00:53:52.56\00:53:55.23 We can't repent without the Spirit of God. 00:53:55.23\00:53:57.30 - Yeah. 00:53:57.30\00:53:58.57 - But that Spirit is available to all 00:53:58.57\00:53:59.87 because He's not willing that any should perish, 00:53:59.87\00:54:01.17 but that all should come to salvation. 00:54:01.17\00:54:02.74 - Exactly. 00:54:02.74\00:54:04.01 People do have the freedom to make decisions, 00:54:04.01\00:54:05.97 and to process. 00:54:05.97\00:54:07.38 You know, the longer I've spent time studying this, 00:54:07.38\00:54:09.91 the more I've come to believe that the truth 00:54:09.91\00:54:11.85 actually lies somewhere in the middle. 00:54:11.85\00:54:13.85 In that, there's no doubt that God is involved 00:54:13.85\00:54:16.02 in drawing us. 00:54:16.02\00:54:17.62 So He's expressing His sovereignty in drawing the 00:54:17.62\00:54:21.62 heart, but we must respond to that drawing. 00:54:21.62\00:54:24.23 And He does give us freedom, 00:54:24.23\00:54:25.53 'cause you can't love if you're pre-programmed to love. 00:54:25.53\00:54:27.76 It's forced. 00:54:27.76\00:54:29.06 Well, friends. But he was cast out first. 00:56:04.79\00:56:06.39 - Okay. Question number two. 00:56:06.39\00:56:07.46 Is it possible to hasten God's second coming? 00:56:07.46\00:56:11.00 - Peter tells us that as we share the gospel, 00:56:11.00\00:56:14.87 it says we look forward to 00:56:14.87\00:56:16.57 and hasten the coming of the Lord. 00:56:16.57\00:56:18.74 So Christ said that after the gospel goes to all the world, 00:56:18.74\00:56:22.01 then the end will come. 00:56:22.01\00:56:23.41 We can participate in taking the gospel to all the world 00:56:23.41\00:56:25.88 and so, in a secondary sense, we're helping to hasten that. 00:56:25.88\00:56:29.22 - Okay, next question that we have. 00:56:29.22\00:56:31.02 Luke 17, Matthew 24 says: 00:56:31.02\00:56:33.12 Two men will be in one bed, the one taken, the other left. 00:56:33.12\00:56:35.59 Two women grinding at the mill, one taken, the other left. 00:56:35.59\00:56:38.63 Is this talking about a secret rapture? 00:56:38.63\00:56:40.63 - Well, he is talking about when the Lord comes, 00:56:41.93\00:56:43.47 but he's not talking about a secret rapture, 00:56:43.47\00:56:45.60 'cause the disciples ask in the same passage, "Where?" 00:56:45.60\00:56:48.40 Meaning, where are they taken? 00:56:48.40\00:56:50.17 And Jesus says, "Wherever the eagles, the vultures are, 00:56:50.17\00:56:52.97 "or wherever the body is, 00:56:52.97\00:56:54.24 "that's where the vultures gather together." 00:56:54.24\00:56:55.71 And so it sounds like the ones who are taken 00:56:55.71\00:56:57.55 are taken away in judgment. 00:56:57.55\00:56:59.51 Talks about the wicked, 00:56:59.51\00:57:00.68 who the flood came and took them away. 00:57:00.68\00:57:03.28 Children of Israel would disobey 00:57:03.28\00:57:04.62 and they were carried away to Babylon or Assyria. 00:57:04.62\00:57:08.22 So some folks have totally misunderstood this passage 00:57:08.22\00:57:11.76 and I don't think it's talking about the secret rapture. 00:57:11.76\00:57:13.70 Talk about two classes, the saved and the lost. 00:57:13.70\00:57:16.90 - All right. 00:57:16.90\00:57:18.27 Well thank you, friends, again for your questions. 00:57:18.27\00:57:19.37 We look forward to seeing you next week 00:57:19.37\00:57:21.14 on another live "Bible Answer Live." 00:57:21.14\00:57:23.07 Until then, God bless. 00:57:23.07\00:57:24.71 (victorious orchestral music) 00:57:24.71\00:57:25.74 - [Announcer] "Bible Answers Live." 00:57:25.74\00:57:27.58 Honest and accurate answers to your Bible questions. 00:57:27.58\00:57:31.38 (cheerful music) 00:57:36.92\00:57:38.29 - [Announcer] Can't get enough "Amazing Facts" Bible study? 00:57:38.29\00:57:40.42 You don't have to wait until next week to enjoy 00:57:40.42\00:57:42.72 more truth-filled programming. 00:57:42.72\00:57:44.89 Visit the "Amazing Facts" media library 00:57:44.89\00:57:47.30 at aftv.org. 00:57:47.30\00:57:49.90 At aftv.org, you can enjoy video and audio presentations, 00:57:49.90\00:57:54.97 as well as printed material, all free of charge, 00:57:56.24\00:57:58.04 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 00:57:58.04\00:58:00.61 right from your computer or mobile device. 00:58:00.61\00:58:03.01 Visit aftv.org. 00:58:03.01\00:58:05.78 - [Announcer] Did you know "Amazing Facts" 00:58:07.22\00:58:08.52 has a free Bible school that you can do 00:58:08.52\00:58:10.59 from the comfort of your own home? 00:58:10.59\00:58:12.32 It includes 27 beautifully illustrated study lessons 00:58:12.32\00:58:15.76 to aid in your study of God's Word. 00:58:15.76\00:58:17.93 Sign up today for this free Bible study course 00:58:17.93\00:58:20.50 by calling 1-844-215-7000. 00:58:20.50\00:58:23.87 That's 1-844-215-7000. 00:58:23.87\00:58:28.14
