00:01 Gloria,
00:07 in excelsis Deo. 00:22 ~ Instrumental ~ 02:33 Thank you, Flutes of Faith, for playing "Gesu Bambino," 02:36 which translates to, "Christ Child." 02:38 If we could hear the words of the song, it tells us that 02:41 Christ the Lord gave the world, it's Christmas rose, 02:44 it's King of light. 02:45 When we see a rose, we often think of love. 02:48 Although on every stem we find thorns. 02:52 There's a beautiful rose in spite of the pain it may cause. 02:56 If you never touch the thorns, then how can you hold a rose? 03:00 Jesus demonstrated His love by going through pain 03:03 and even shedding his blood to save us 03:05 and to show us what true love is, 03:08 and how to unselfishly love one another. 03:12 Very few recognize the love given that day 03:15 when Christ was born. 03:16 Let's hear Natalie and John sing, 03:18 It Came Upon the Midnight Clear. 03:37 It came upon the midnight clear, 03:43 that glorious song of old, 03:50 from angels bending near the earth 03:56 to touch their harps of gold, 04:03 "Peace on the earth, good will to men, 04:09 from heaven's all gracious King." 04:16 The world in solemn stillness lay 04:22 to hear the angels sing. 04:28 Still through the cloven skies they come 04:35 with peaceful wings unfurled, 04:41 and still their heavenly music floats 04:48 o'er all the weary world. 04:54 Above, its sad and lowly pains 05:00 they bend on hovering wing, 05:06 and ever o'er is Babel sounds 05:13 the blessed angels sing. 05:19 And ye, beneath life's crushing load, 05:25 whose forms are bending low, 05:31 who toil along the climbing way 05:37 with painful steps and slow, 05:43 look now, for glad and golden hours 05:49 come swiftly on the wing. 05:56 O rest beside the weary road 06:03 and hear the angels sing, 06:10 and hear the angels sing. 06:42 It's still a mystery to me 06:50 that the hand of God could be so small, 06:58 how tiny fingers reaching in the night 07:05 were the very hands that measured the sky. 07:13 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 07:21 heaven's love reaching down to save the world. 07:28 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 07:36 Son of God, Servant King, here with us. 07:43 You're here with us. 07:53 It's still a mystery to me, 08:01 how His infant eyes have seen the dawn of time, 08:08 how His ears have heard an angel's symphony, 08:15 but still, Mary had to rock her Savior to sleep. 08:22 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 08:30 heaven's love reaching down to save the world. 08:37 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 08:44 Son of God, Servant King, here with us. 08:52 You're here with us. 09:00 ~ Music ~ 09:27 Jesus, the Christ, born in Bethlehem. 09:35 A Baby born to save, to save the souls of man. 09:43 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 09:51 heaven's love reaching down to save the world. 09:58 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 10:06 Son of God, Servant King, here with us. 10:13 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 10:20 Son of God, Servant King, here with us. 10:28 Hallelujah, hallelujah, 10:35 Son of God, Servant King, here with us. 10:42 You're here with us. 10:51 You're here with us. 11:11 Thank you, Sophia, for that beautiful song. 11:14 Oh, this tiny Baby is our Savior who came to be with us. 11:18 And today Jesus wants nothing more than to have 11:22 His love spilling over and filling us so that we too 11:26 can show the love to one another. 11:27 We can only share Christ's love if we ask him 11:30 to live within our hearts. 11:32 Let's listen to Liam play, O Come, O Come, Emmanuel. 11:41 ~ Instrumental ~ 15:11 Come, they told me. Make room in your heart. 23:04 Mother holds the promise tight, every wrong will be made right, 23:12 the road is straight, the burdens light; 23:17 for in His hands He holds tomorrow. 23:24 Is there room in your heart, is there room in your heart, 23:33 is there room in your heart for God to write His story? 23:42 You can come as you are, but it may set you apart 23:50 when you make room in your heart 23:54 and trade your dreams for His glory. 24:00 Make room in your heart. Make room in your heart. 24:09 Make room in your heart. Make room in your heart. 24:31 Try giving a rose to a complete stranger. 24:36 There's just something special about 24:38 giving flowers to others. 24:39 Even a dandelion received from one of my students 24:42 would make me smile. 24:44 I once gave a rose to each student in my class, 24:47 and they were so surprised. 24:49 As I carefully handed each student their rose, 24:52 they'd take it very gingerly. 24:54 There were a few students I had to show them how to 24:57 hold a rose. 24:58 For many of them, it was their first rose, 25:00 and they dutifully tried taking good care of it. 25:04 It reminds me of how gingerly and carefully, we need to 25:07 interact with others. 25:09 Are we always careful about demonstrating God's love? 25:13 Are we being a good example of how to handle tough situations? 25:17 All we have to do is ask God for help. 25:19 The next time you see a rose, think of the Christmas rose. 25:23 The greatest love that has ever been given 25:26 is the most precious gift of all: Christ Jesus. 25:37 The most precious gift was given the night that Christ was born. 25:45 The Savior of the world, Jesus came to save us all. 25:53 He came as one of us, He came humbly without fuss. 26:01 Laying in a manger was God's greatest gift of love. 26:08 All glory to Jesus, hallelujah. 26:16 All glory to Jesus, the most precious gift of love. 26:24 All glory to Jesus, hallelujah. 26:31 All glory to Jesus, the most precious gift of love. 26:41 The most precious gift was given the night that Christ was born. 26:49 The Savior of the world, Jesus came to save us all. 26:56 He came as one of us, He came humbly without fuss. 27:03 Laying in a manger was God's greatest gift of love. 27:10 All glory to Jesus, hallelujah. 27:18 All glory to Jesus, the most precious gift of love. 27:25 All glory to Jesus, hallelujah. 27:32 All glory to Jesus, the most precious gift of love. 27:40 The most precious gift of love. 27:43 The most precious gift of love. 28:03 Gloria, 28:10 in excelsis Deo. 28:14 Gloria, 28:21 in excelsis Deo. |
