09:15 Whom angels greet with anthems sweet 09:20 While shepherds watch are keeping? 09:27 This, this is Christ the King 09:33 Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing 09:38 Haste, haste, to bring Him laud 09:43 The Babe, the Son of Mary 11:10 So that's the story, the greatest story ever told, 11:13 the gospel according to Luke. 11:16 How often do you tell that wonderful story? 11:19 Only at Christmas? 11:21 It's written right there 11:22 in the word of God for us to read 11:24 and to retell to those who we come in contact with. 11:30 And along with that story we have our testimony, 11:34 how God has made a difference in our lives. 11:41 I welcome you to our program 11:43 and I hope that you will sing along on these songs. 11:46 Hope these songs will minister to you. 11:48 This is a special time of year. 11:50 "There's truly a song in the air, I can feel it." 11:54 Sing along. 12:05 There's a song in the air 12:09 There's a star in the sky 12:12 There's a mother's deep prayer 12:15 And a baby's low cry 12:19 And the star rains its fire 12:22 While the beautiful sing 12:25 For the manger of Bethlehem 12:29 Cradles a King 13:04 Away in a manger 13:08 No crib for a bed 13:11 The little Lord Jesus 13:15 Laid down His sweet head 13:18 The stars in the sky 13:22 Looked down where He lay 13:25 The little Lord Jesus 13:29 Asleep on the hay 13:36 Be near me, Lord Jesus 13:41 I ask Thee to stay 13:44 Close by me forever 13:47 And love me, I pray 13:51 Bless all the dear children In Thy tender care 13:58 And fit us for Heaven 14:02 To live with Thee there 17:02 Good. 17:03 We have so much to rejoice about. 17:06 So let's do as the song says, "Good Christians Now Rejoice." 17:17 Good Christian, now rejoice 17:21 With heart, and soul, and voice 17:25 Give ye heed to what we say 17:28 Jesus Christ was born today 17:32 Ox and lamb before Him bow 17:35 And He is in the manger now 17:39 Christ is born today Christ is born today 17:51 Good Christians, now rejoice 17:55 With heart, and soul, and voice 17:59 Now ye hear of endless bliss 18:02 Jesus Christ was born for this 18:06 He has opened Heaven's door 18:09 And we are blessed for evermore 18:13 Christ was born for this 18:16 Christ was born for this 18:23 All right, you sing it now. 18:44 Oh, yeah. 18:46 Christ was born to save 18:49 Christ was born to save 18:54 Rejoice! Rejoice! 19:01 Immanuel 19:08 Has come to us 19:12 O Israel 19:57 Rejoice. 20:01 Yeah, we have so much to rejoice about, right? 20:04 Even though life is crazy and discouraging sometimes 20:09 and things just happened to everybody 20:12 but we have things to rejoice about. 20:14 The one thing is, especially, the Christ has come to save us. 20:19 And I love the fact that God gave the gift of salvation 20:24 wrapped in human flesh. 20:27 I had the opportunity to minister to some veterans. 20:33 A couple of years ago, 20:36 we were singing at a little Christmas get together. 20:41 After I had done my part, they began to tell stories. 20:46 And I remember one particular story, 20:49 a gentleman was talking about Christmases 20:52 when he grew up, and how all they really, 20:55 they were very poor, 20:57 and all they received was an orange, 20:59 just some fruit. 21:03 And this orange, they were elated to get. 21:08 He talked about the whole process 21:10 of actually going to go with his father 21:12 to go get the orange, it made a great story. 21:16 But then he talked about 21:18 when he peeled I guess the orange, 21:24 he didn't discard the peel like I would. 21:29 I mean, I like the smell of the peel 21:31 and I realize that's the zest, 21:33 you know, where you get the zest from. 21:35 But he talked about keeping this, the peel, 21:40 this wrapper for this orange all year long. 21:45 He kept it and talked about in June, he went back to this, 21:49 where he had kept it in a box in his drawer 21:52 and he would peel of a little bite 21:54 and he would nibble on the peel of the orange. 21:59 And it just reminded me of, number 1, 22:02 how we throw away the beautiful paper 22:07 on the gifts that we receive. 22:10 And I know I'm not a good gift wrapper. 22:15 So when I see somebody crumple that up, 22:18 I'm thinking "Oh, if you only knew 22:19 how long it took me to do that, 22:21 to wrap that gift, to make it so pretty, 22:25 you wouldn't have missed that step, 22:27 'cause that was probably one of the most 22:30 precious parts of the gift." 22:35 But also we look and see that, 22:37 the gift of salvation that Christ came to earth 22:43 to give us was wrapped up in Him. 22:48 And God planned it that way 22:51 that He would become flesh. 22:56 So as you remember the gift of salvation, 23:03 remember Jesus, remember Him, 23:08 and let's worship Him. 23:13 I think you will remember some of these songs. 23:18 O come, let us adore Him 23:24 O come, let us adore Him 23:31 O come, let us adore Him 23:39 Christ, the Lord 23:46 For You alone are worthy
