00:01 "She will bring forth a Son,
00:02 and you shall call His name Jesus, 00:05 for He will save His people from their sins." 00:12 Celebrate this special season 00:14 by worshiping our Savior and King, 00:17 as we bring you Christmas 00:18 with your 3ABN family and friends. 00:22 Hello, thank you for joining us today. 00:24 Wow, do we have a group of folk here, huh, Yvonne? 00:26 I know, some of our favorite people and singers. 00:29 And favorite time of the year. Absolutely. 00:31 Because we get to sing about Jesus. 00:33 Not only here, but all-- You can out and-- I love it. 00:36 You can go to Walmarts, and Kmarts, 00:38 and all these things 00:39 and hear people singing about the Lord Jesus Christ, 00:43 and everybody seem to be happy about it. 00:45 So we say, and I always have to say this, 00:47 'cause somebody writes in and says, 00:49 don't you know Jesus wasn't born on December 25th? 00:53 Yes we know that, but we know it's a great time 00:55 and the world is listening. 00:57 So let's give them what they need to hear, right? 00:58 That's right. 01:00 And, so let's do some introductions right now. 01:01 Yvonne, do you know any of these folk over here? 01:03 I do. She looks pretty. 01:13 Look at her hair today. Doesn't she look pretty? 01:14 Isn't she beautiful? Yeah. 01:16 Angie Lomacang, Pastor John Lomacang, 01:20 Reggie Smith. All right. 01:22 Layde Love Smith. Layde Love. 01:24 Irma Murray. Irma. Here we go. 01:26 Pastor C.A. Murray. Tim Parton. 01:45 There, we missed Tim. Just for that-- 01:47 How could we miss Tim? 01:49 Just for that, Tim, you have to play us something, 01:50 just to begin with. 01:52 All right. 01:53 All right, let's sing with him. 01:57 Joy to the world, the Lord is come 02:01 Let earth receive her King 02:06 Let every heart prepare Him room 02:10 And Heaven and nature sing 02:13 And Heaven and nature sing 02:15 And Heaven, and Heaven and nature sing 02:20 Joy to the world, the Savior reigns 02:24 Let men their songs employ 02:29 While fields and floods 02:31 Rocks, hills and plains 02:34 Repeat the sounding joy 02:36 Repeat the sounding joy 02:39 Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy 02:42 Tim, you've got to play it at least once more. 02:44 So okay, let's let Tim play. 03:04 Love it. He rules the world. 03:07 He rules the world with truth and grace 03:11 And makes the nations prove 03:16 The glories of His righteousness 03:21 And wonders of His love 03:23 And wonders of His love 03:26 And wonders, wonders, of His love 03:31 And wonders, wonders, of His love 03:43 All right. 03:44 Not good for not really practice-- 03:46 I mean, no, no, wait, it was pretty good for practicing. 03:48 Oh, there you go. There you go. 03:50 Tim is absolutely an incredible musician. 03:52 What a joy it is to have you here today. 03:54 Great to be here. 03:56 And we couldn't have a program without you playing. 03:58 You can sing if you want to, or just play a solo, 04:00 or whatever you want to do, but bless us with your music. 04:03 Today at home, thank you for joining us, 04:05 thank you for your love and your prayers, 04:06 and financial support to 3ABN. 04:09 But we want you to join in with us today, 04:11 have a good time in the Lord. 04:13 This is a great time, 04:14 every day is a great time for some of us, older folk, 04:17 I won't look to my right or left. 04:18 Don't look over here. 04:19 Some of us older folk, I won't look to the right or the left, 04:22 but every day is a gift for us. 04:24 You know what I'm saying? 04:25 Every day is a gift, so we want to enjoy it, 04:27 and we want you to enjoy it, 04:28 don't be sitting around at home, 04:29 feeling sorry for yourself and saying, 04:31 "Woe is me, if it weren't for bad luck, 04:33 I'd have no bad luck, or I'd have no luck at all." 04:36 We don't want to do any of that stuff. 04:38 We want you to be happy in the Lord, 04:39 "The joy the of Lord is our strength." 04:41 Amen. And really, it's our salvation. 04:43 So, Tim, what are you going to play for us today? 04:45 I'm gonna do-- 04:46 Let's see, let's do a little bit 04:47 "Go tell it on the mountain." 04:49 All right. 06:32 All right, that ought to be against the law, 06:34 but I'm glad it isn't. 06:35 Aren't you? I'm glad that is not-- 06:37 Jill, what do you think about that? 06:38 That's fabulous. 06:40 When I get to heaven, I want to play like Mr. Tim. 06:42 Absolutely. 06:43 And I'll sit back and listen to you. 06:45 Oh, my, my, my, my. 06:47 Brother Kenny, it's a great time here. 06:49 We're glad you are here. 06:50 We couldn't get you and Chris to do solos today, 06:52 but give us a little testimony, real quick. 06:53 Oh, you know, it's easy, this time of the year, 06:55 or any day, to give a testimony for Jesus Christ. 06:58 You know, it's just such a wonderful time 07:00 in earth's history to be alive at such a wonderful time. 07:02 Even in this season, people are talking about Jesus, 07:05 taking about His birth, opportunities to witness. 07:08 Like, maybe, never be-- any other part of the year, 07:11 so we need to take advantage of that, 07:12 tell people that Jesus is coming, 07:14 that we need to be ready for His coming. 07:16 And here, today, you mentioned, 07:17 we want to encourage the people, 07:19 there's too many sad looks, too many sad hearts, 07:22 and today we're going to try and put everything aside 07:25 and just be able to think about Jesus, His coming, 07:27 and some of the songs will be sung here. 07:29 You know, they're gonna bless my heart. 07:30 I've already been blessed by them, 07:32 and so I know each one of you will be blessed too. 07:34 So we're glad to be here. 07:35 Thank you for the opportunity to be with my family. 07:39 I thank each one of you for that. 07:41 So it's a good time to be alive. 07:42 Chris. Chris. 07:44 Yeah, that's Chris. That's you. 07:47 I just like to reiterate what he's saying 07:49 because this is the time of year 07:51 where hearts are open, they're open to hear Jesus 07:54 more than any other time of the year. 07:56 And he's mentioned being happy. 07:58 You know, and the world that we're living in, 08:00 you turn on the news, 08:01 and there's not much happiness right now. 08:03 But the blessings of God are so refreshing to us. 08:07 Each and every moment of everyday 08:09 and to remember this time of year, 08:11 when all of heaven emptied itself 08:14 because God loved each and everyone of us, so much. 08:20 They gave everything that they had. 08:22 Wow! Amen! 08:23 And the blessing of God is on the go. 08:25 "Go tell it on the mountain." 08:26 Tim, we got to have one more verse 08:27 at least of that, right? 08:42 Go, tell it on the mountain 08:46 Over the hills and everywhere 08:49 Go, tell it on the mountain 08:52 That Jesus Christ is born 08:56 That Jesus Christ is born 09:05 Jesus Christ is born, and He's Lord of all, right? 09:08 Oh, yes. Oh, yes. 09:09 Now next, we're gonna ask to Reggie and Layde Love Smith-- 09:13 Oh, and Yvonne to begin with. And Yvonne. 09:15 I know you guys can do a couple of songs now, 09:17 but you're gonna do something brand new. 09:19 I don't think you've ever sang this together. 09:20 No. 09:22 But they asked if you would? 09:23 So you all want to get up and tell us 09:24 what song you're singing. 09:26 I'll help you up here, you wanna watch that snow-- 09:27 'Cause there's snow, I don't wanna trip on the snow. 09:29 High heels going into the snow and ice here. 09:30 That's right, thank you. It's very slick here. 09:32 Thank you. 09:33 There's a pile of snow there. 09:35 So-- Thank you. 09:37 Okay, we're just-- it's gonna be a surprise 09:38 when the song starts here. 09:40 Okay, we're ready. We're ready when you guys are. 09:42 You'll ready? 09:51 Over mountains and valleys they let me shine 09:57 A star of most radiant light 10:02 The Wise Men rejoiced as they journeyed afar 10:07 To behold such a beautiful star 10:13 When they saw the star 10:15 They rejoiced with great joy 10:18 When they saw the star 10:20 They rejoiced 10:24 When they saw the star 10:26 They rejoiced with great joy 10:28 They rejoiced with exceeding great joy 10:34 Sing with us. 10:35 When they saw the star 10:37 They rejoiced with great joy 10:40 When they saw the star 10:42 They rejoiced 10:45 When they saw the star 10:47 They rejoiced with great joy 10:50 They rejoiced with exceeding great joy 10:56 Others saw the star but they followed it not 11:01 To them it would come and would pass 11:07 The Wise Men kept trusting with all of their hearts 11:12 That the star would find the Baby at last 11:18 When they saw the star 11:20 They rejoiced with great joy 11:23 When they saw the star 11:25 They rejoiced 11:29 When they saw the star 11:31 They rejoiced with great joy 11:33 They rejoiced with exceeding great joy 11:40 When they saw the star 11:41 They rejoiced with great joy 11:45 When they saw the star 11:47 They rejoiced 11:50 When they saw the star 11:52 They rejoiced with great joy 11:55 They rejoiced with exceeding great joy 12:01 When they saw the star 12:03 They rejoiced with great joy 12:07 When they saw the star 12:09 They rejoiced 12:12 When they saw the star 12:14 They rejoiced with great joy 12:17 They rejoiced with exceeding great joy 12:22 Great joy 12:25 They rejoiced with exceeding great joy 12:29 Joy 12:38 Whoa! Glory! Amen. 12:40 Amen. Beautiful. 12:42 Thank you, Yvonne, and now you said 12:43 you didn't really know that song. 12:45 Is that true? 12:46 No, I did not really know it. You don't know that song? 12:48 That's amazing. I loved it though. 12:49 She did awesome. 12:51 Hey, that's why she gets paid the big bucks, right? 12:53 To sing like that. 12:54 Well, maybe not here at 3ABN, but she used to, when she did, 12:58 you know, all the jingles and everything, Tim. 13:00 But you can just live on that, you know, think about that 13:04 and know that you're singing for the Lord here. 13:07 Amen. Amen. 13:09 So it's not about money and things like that, but no. 13:11 It's great, Reggie, that you guys, 13:14 three of you just sang beautifully together. 13:17 I love singing with them. We love singing you. 13:19 Yeah we love singing with Yvonne. 13:20 You know, everybody knows the story we talked about, 13:22 the first we meet, it was in the studio 13:23 and we were a little bit hesitant, 13:25 and she hesitant to sing with us. 13:27 And but boy, one note-- 13:28 Well, not anymore. One note was all it took, man. 13:30 We're like, we're ready. So... Absolutely, we love it. 13:32 Now you guys are going to do a duet. 13:34 What are you going to sing for us? 13:35 "Birthday of a King." 13:52 In the little village of Bethlehem 13:59 There lay a child one day 14:07 And the sky was bright 14:11 With His holy light 14:14 Over the place where Jesus lay 14:25 Alleluia 14:28 O how the angels sang 14:32 Alleluia 14:35 How it rang 14:39 And the sky was bright 14:43 With a holy light 14:48 It was the birthday of 14:53 A King 15:03 It was a humble birthplace 15:08 But O how much 15:11 God gave to us that day 15:18 From a manger bed 15:21 What a path has led 15:25 What a perfect holy way 15:32 Alleluia 15:35 O how the angels sang 15:40 Alleluia 15:43 How it rang 15:50 And the sky was bright 15:54 With a Holy light 16:00 Gloria 16:15 Alleluia 16:18 O how the angels sang 16:23 Alleluia 16:26 How it rang 16:29 And the sky was bright 16:33 With a Holy light 16:37 A Holy light 16:43 It was the birthday of 16:48 A King 16:53 Of a King 17:03 Woo! Amen. 17:04 Amen. Praise the Lord. Halleluiah! 17:06 Beautiful. Thank you guys so much. 17:09 What a pleasure it is, 17:12 not only, you know, doing music and traveling with them, 17:15 but knowing him as Christians and friends. 17:17 Aren't they fun? Oh, they're wonderful. 17:18 All of you've traveled with them around the world. 17:20 They're always up, I don't know how they do it. 17:23 They're always up, 17:25 so I don't know how they do it, but. 17:26 Tim, I've been with him, and literally, 17:28 we went to Australia, New Zealand. 17:30 We'd get to bed really at night, 17:32 get them up early in the morning 17:34 and they'd come out like, "Hey, how are you'll doing?" 17:35 And everything. 17:37 Everybody they meet along the way, 17:38 I don't care if he's pumping gas or whatever, 17:40 "Hey, how are you doing? 17:41 And how is it going?" 17:43 I'm like, how do they have so much energy. 17:44 We just wear you out, that's what it is, right? 17:46 But Tim, but I got to tell you. 17:47 One day we came out of the hotel room, 17:48 we looked out in the parking lot, 17:50 Danny was walking on his hands. 17:53 Somebody must have given me, like, 17:55 one of those sodas that had caffeine or something, 17:57 'cause I'm normally not walking on my hands all the time. 17:59 You were actually doing it for some children. 18:01 I will say. Oh, I did it for the kids. 18:02 You ought to do that sometimes. I do it. 18:04 Grandkids like it too, 18:05 if you walk on your hands a little bit. 18:07 John, we talked just a little bit, 18:08 'cause we want to give a break between have- 18:11 If anybody, if there's somebody here 18:13 I wouldn't want to go up 18:14 after through singing as Reggie and Layde or Tim playing. 18:18 But John in his own right is a great singer, 18:20 we see him as our Pastor, 18:22 as our World Evangelism Director, 18:24 but he spent his lifetime singing, 18:27 and got a great voice, wonderful wife Angie. 18:30 And so you're gonna get up 18:32 and what are you gonna sing for us today? 18:33 It's 'Do you hear what I hear?' Okay. 18:35 You know, what's so important about that song, 18:37 'cause, you know, there's so many songs 18:38 about the season, secular songs, 18:40 Christian songs, traditional songs, 18:43 but, you know, "Do you hear what I hear?" 18:46 The reason I choose that is because 18:47 over the last few months, 18:49 we've heard nothing but bad news. 18:51 And if you ask people, in, you know, 18:54 August and September and October, 18:56 when we talk about the things that happened in Paris, 18:58 and the airplane crashes 19:00 and the people suddenly dying and losing friends, 19:03 and you say, "Do you hear what I hear" 19:05 and they say, "Whoa! 19:06 What happened now? It sounds like bad news." 19:08 But in the midst of all of that bad news 19:10 the word Gospel means there's still good news. 19:12 All right. All right. 19:13 The good news tells us 19:15 that one day there'll no more bad news. 19:16 Amen. 19:17 So I've chosen this song 19:19 entitled 'Do you hear what I hear?' 19:20 From the beginning of the message 19:23 to the end of the message, Jesus is always good news. 19:26 So I hope you enjoy this song, 19:27 which is seasonal, as well as religious. 19:29 Okay. Amen. 19:35 Do you hear what I hear? 19:41 Said the night wind to the little lamb 19:47 Do you see what I see? 19:52 Way up in the sky, little lamb 19:57 Do you see what I see? 20:01 A star, a star dancing in the night 20:06 With a tail as big as a kite 20:11 With a tail as big as a kite 20:19 Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy 20:24 Do you hear what I hear? 20:29 Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy 20:34 Do you hear what I hear? 20:39 A song, a song, 20:42 High above the trees 20:44 With a voice as big as the sea 20:49 With a voice as big as the sea 20:57 Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king 21:02 Do you hear what I hear? 21:07 In your palace warm, mighty kings 21:12 Do you hear what I hear? 21:17 A Child, a Child shivers in the cold 21:22 Let us bring Him silver and gold 21:27 Let us bring Him silver and gold 21:37 Said the king to the people everywhere 21:42 Just listen to what I say 21:48 Pray for peace, people everywhere! 21:52 So listen to what I say? 21:58 A Child, a Child, sleeping in the night 22:02 He will bring us goodness and light 22:07 He will bring us 22:11 Goodness and light 22:24 Amen! Woo! 22:26 All right, thank you, John, thank you. 22:29 Greg how about a, 22:31 maybe a little testimony from you and Jill back there? 22:33 Tell us what's going on in your head, this season? 22:38 You know, I tell you that Christmas time can, 22:40 at times, can be overwhelming, you know, for some people. 22:42 You know, there's a lot of stuff in the world, 22:44 sometimes it can be a lonely, you know, time of year, 22:47 it can be a sad time of year. 22:49 And also, there's a lot of secularism, 22:50 you know, in the world, as Kenny was mentioning, 22:52 Chris too, you know, there's a lot of things in this world 22:54 that can distract us from what the big picture is, 22:58 which is Jesus Christ our Savior is born. 23:01 And I think that's the great news, 23:02 to be able to share with other people, 23:04 is that Jesus Christ is born and this Christmas season 23:07 is an opportunity to, sometimes, 23:09 people can just look down, 23:10 they may not even be a Christian, 23:12 but they can look down, and you know, 23:14 you can use this time of the year 23:15 to strike up a conversation and talk about Christ 23:18 because all of us have a void within of us, 23:20 you know, inside of us, 23:22 you know, people that don't know Christ, 23:23 there can be an opportunity to share. 23:24 So to me, Christmas time, is a time that's a great time 23:27 to witness and to share Jesus Christ with others. 23:30 Amen! I agree with that. 23:31 You know, no other time of year can you go to your neighbor, 23:35 can you talk to someone on the street, 23:36 can you knock on a door and say, 23:38 let me tell you what Jesus did for me. 23:40 Let me tell you Jesus came 2000 years ago, as a baby, 23:45 and He came to give us salvation. 23:47 He came because He knew without that we have no hope. 23:51 No hope of eternal life, no hope of spending eternity 23:55 with our brothers and sisters, 23:57 like our brothers and sisters here. 23:58 So that's a precious thing. 24:00 To me Christmas is about Jesus. It is. 24:03 What Jesus did that all those years ago, 24:07 and what He wants to do in our lives. 24:08 He wants recreate us, 24:10 He wants to make us again in the image 24:13 that He had created us from beginning, from creation. 24:16 In the beginning, He made us in the image of God. 24:19 And you think Satan wants to deface that, 24:21 he want's to destroy that. 24:23 And God says, I came to restore in each one of us, 24:27 the image of the Divine, 24:29 the image of Jesus Christ in us, the hope of glory. 24:32 Amen. Amen. 24:33 I mean, look how much Satan hates 24:35 the birth of Christ. 24:37 I mean, you take this great event, 24:39 whenever it happened, lot of scholars think, 24:41 it's maybe in the fall of the year. 24:43 You take this great event and then somehow 24:45 someone comes up with Saint Nick, 24:47 they come us with Santa Claus, we called him Santy, 24:50 I guess there's Santa Claus when we were kids. 24:51 Santa Claus, right? 24:53 So they come up with a guy like that, 24:55 then they write songs, 24:56 "You better watch out, 24:58 You better not pout, 24:59 You better not cry, I'm telling you why. 25:01 Santa Claus is coming to town." 25:03 And then it says, 25:05 "He knows when you're sleeping. 25:06 He knows when you're awake. 25:08 He knows if you've been bad or good. 25:09 So be good for..." 25:11 Now who really is the only person, 25:14 that's Jesus, right? 25:16 That's right. So it's a counterfeit. 25:17 But it's a happy little tune. You better watch out. 25:20 You know what I'm saying, you get caught up in it, 25:22 and I've heard people in churches actually sing it. 25:25 And Gospel people out on the stage singing, 25:28 Santa Claus is coming to town. 25:29 We need to be talking about Jesus is coming to town. 25:32 'Cause that's what it's really all about. 25:34 Jesus coming to town. 25:35 And so, you know, while there's a lot of fun, 25:38 there's some great songs that are fun time of the year, 25:40 like a White Christmas, that's just fun. 25:42 I mean, I go back to Holiday Inn, 25:44 Bing Crosby, 25:45 some of you are not old enough to go back, right 25:48 and those where you go, I'll hit a G-chord. 25:51 Layde just do it. "I'll be home." 25:53 Hit a chord for that. 25:55 I'll be home 25:58 For Christmas 26:03 You can count on me 26:11 Please have snow 26:14 And mistletoe 26:20 And presents 26:23 Under the tree 26:30 Christmas Eve 26:34 Will find me 26:39 Where the love light 26:44 Gleams 26:48 I'll be home 26:53 For Christmas 26:59 If only 27:03 In my dreams 27:10 How smooth was that. 27:12 But you know what, Danny? 27:14 That reminds me of my mom and my dad, 27:17 and when we would get ready for Christmas 27:18 and where we getting-- 27:20 You know, that's a nostalgic thing too. 27:22 That reminds you of the people that you loved 27:24 and that you would go home to. 27:25 Absolutely. 27:27 See my point is, the devil doesn't care 27:28 which side of the boat we fall out off, 27:30 as long as we fall out, 27:31 'cause there's folks who sang about Santa Claus, 27:34 and then somebody sings, "I'll be home for Christmas." 27:36 Everybody like, 27:37 you shouldn't be singing songs like that 27:38 or "White Christmas." 27:40 It's seems like the devil's only, 27:41 all he wants to do is turn this world 27:43 and turn all of us upside down, 27:45 so we'd like to use some balance. 27:46 We know what it's about. 27:48 But hey, if you want to be home for Christmas? 27:49 Great, we should be, right? That's right. 27:51 Sing about that, but I'm not gonna, you know-- 27:54 Or all I want for Christmas, my two front teeth, 27:56 there's nothing wrong with that. 27:58 You know what I'm saying? And so don't be offended. 28:01 So of you-- 28:03 Get offended about it. 28:04 But we can have fun and have some balance, 28:06 but the center of all of this should center around Jesus. 28:09 That's right. 28:10 But folks, let's have some balance in our life, right? 28:12 So it's not about, you know, what we do, 28:15 as much as who we know and how we're dedicated 28:17 to simply go and tell what He has done us. 28:20 Our greatest asset is our own personal testimony, 28:22 what God has done for us. 28:24 And so here, what a joy to be around 28:26 with all these singers and musicians. 28:28 People, speaking of that, my sister Tammy, 28:30 are you gonna sing next for us? 28:32 I'm gonna try. 28:33 You come up and tell us what you're gonna sing now, 28:36 do you have track 28:37 or you're gonna have Tim play for you. 28:39 Tim is gonna play 28:40 and I hope I can get through it. 28:42 I've got a really sore throat, I'm losing my voice. 28:44 Well, no excuses now, you just-- 28:46 You're up here, you just-- 28:48 Brother Kenny said, could it be that I took about 15 foot dive 28:53 into ice cold creek the other day 28:55 to save my dog. 28:56 Oh, no. 28:58 Well, then I'm not gonna say anything about that, 29:00 just I want you to remember one thing, 29:01 your dog swim well. 29:04 I would not be, if I were you, 29:06 diving into creek to save a dog, 29:07 I would trust that dog that it can swim. 29:10 She was stuck. 29:11 You throw a baby dog in a pond and he's gonna swim out. 29:15 Only Bruce, you don't have to worry about drowning. 29:18 They're labs, they're water dogs. 29:19 And they're labs, he says, they're water dogs. 29:22 She was stuck. She was stuck on something. 29:24 Okay, all right. Sing to us. What are you gonna sing today? 29:27 "Infant Holy," 29:29 Tim had made an arrangement several years ago for me, 29:32 and I was digging around, looking for something to sing 29:34 and I said there it is, 29:36 and so he's gonna, kind of, recreate that, 29:38 what he did on the CD for me. 30:28 Infant holy, infant lowly 30:32 For His bed a cattle stall 30:37 Oxen lowing, little knowing 30:41 Christ the babe is Lord of all 30:46 Swifts are winging, angels singing 30:50 Noel's ringing, tidings bringing 30:57 Christ the babe is Lord of all 31:03 Christ the babe is Lord of all 31:27 Flocks were sleeping, shepherds keeping 31:32 Vigil till the morning new 31:36 Saw the glory, heard the story 31:41 Tidings of a Gospel true 31:47 Thus rejoicing, free from sorrow 31:51 Praises voicing, greet the morrow 31:58 Christ the babe was born for you 32:05 Christ the babe was born for you 32:19 Amen! Amen! 32:22 Okay, that wasn't bad for jumping in the creek 32:25 and getting-- 32:26 In cool weather, you know, 32:28 the weather can be warm outside this time, 32:30 of year, but that creek is cold. 32:31 It was ice cold. 32:33 She should not have said any of those excuses to us 32:35 because that was beautiful. 32:37 Once I got in, I couldn't get out. 32:38 It was steep embankment, I couldn't get out. 32:41 I was not going to say anything a while ago, 32:43 but I'll say, this now her getting out of there 32:45 or dog getting out, I'd trust the-- 32:48 Bruce said it's a Labrador, everybody, 32:49 what do Labradors do? 32:51 What are they known for? 32:52 They're known for great swimmers, 32:54 but at least that shows, 32:55 you had a good heart, Tammy, it shows-- 32:56 It took me 45 minutes to find a way out, 32:59 'cause it was just straight up, the steep embankment. 33:01 So I climbed and fell back in several times, and-- 33:07 Reggie said, did the dog get you out? 33:10 Well, after I pulled her loose, 33:12 she stayed with me until I was able to get out. 33:15 She stayed in the water with me. 33:16 Oh, she was enjoying it, yeah. 33:18 Hey, Danny, it was actually a dog rescue. 33:21 He rescued Tammy. 33:23 You just saying that 33:24 she was willing to dive for him, but-- 33:26 Danny, she was, she was so desperate 33:28 that another one of dogs came by, 33:30 saw her down there, digging, trying to get up. 33:33 She didn't say, go get Bruce or something? 33:36 Well, she tried to get hold of that little dog, 33:39 so that little dog could pull her out. 33:40 I said, it'd be wonderful if it was a horse 33:42 or maybe a rein down there, it might have pulled you out, 33:44 but not another little dog. 33:45 That's how desperate we become. 33:47 Yeah, but that little dog weights 81 pounds. 33:49 So if I could've just taught him pull, pull! 33:52 He could have pulled me out. I think we better move on. 33:53 We're gonna move on, Tim. 33:55 I can see something going on here, and-- 33:58 All right, Brother C.A. Murray, 34:00 you're next on the list up here to sing for us today. 34:04 All righty. You know, I'm a word guy. 34:07 And I was-- 34:09 You know, we always talk about the swaddling clothes. 34:11 So I did a research, 34:12 some research on swaddling clothes, 34:14 and I found out that swaddling clothes 34:16 are strips of cloth, 34:18 that are usually reserved for burying. 34:21 So Christ was born in his burial clothes. 34:25 He was born prepared to die. 34:28 So it's really quite an understanding 34:30 of why Jesus came, Jesus came to die. 34:34 Wow, that's it. 34:35 And this song is "I wonder" 34:37 as I wonder why did he come to die. 34:40 All right. 34:41 He came to die for you and for me. 34:43 Amen. 35:05 I wonder as I wander 35:08 Out under the sky 35:15 Why Jesus the Savior 35:19 Did come for to die 35:25 For poor ornery people 35:30 Like you and like I 35:36 I wonder as I wander 35:44 Out under the sky 35:52 When Mary birthed Jesus 35:57 'Twas in a cow's stall 36:03 With wise men and farmers 36:07 And shepherds and all 36:13 But high from God's heaven 36:18 A star's light did fall 36:23 And the wonder of ages 36:32 It then did recall 36:58 If Jesus had wanted 37:01 For any wee thing 37:08 A star in the sky 37:11 Or a bird on the wing 37:18 Or all of God's angels 37:22 In heaven to sing 37:32 He surely would have it 37:41 'Cause he was the King 37:48 Jesus was our King. 37:57 Amen. 38:04 Thank you, Dr. Murray. 38:06 Irma, you seem like 38:10 you're madly in love with this guy. 38:11 I watched her when he's singing and she's like this. 38:17 She did, did anybody else see her do that? 38:19 I love watching her sing. 38:20 I try not to be distracted from your singing, 38:22 but Irma's just madly in love and that's so wonderful. 38:25 What's on your heart this season, Irma? 38:28 Well, Danny, I, um, 38:30 so thankful to the Lord for this season. 38:33 You know, I love babies 38:35 and everybody around that knows me, 38:37 I love to hold the babies. 38:39 And to think that Jesus was that baby 38:43 that His parents just love Him, and groom Him for the kingdom, 38:49 to bring us that message of salvation, to us, 38:53 and so this season is very precious 38:58 because we have a God in heaven 39:01 who came as a baby 39:03 and now we have that opportunity to, 39:05 to be saved and to have Him as a King in our hearts. 39:09 And I, I just... 39:13 I'm happy also, in this seasonal also, 39:15 because my mother is still alive 39:18 and she's 96 years old, so it's a joy for me 39:23 and my husband to go together and visit her for the-- 39:27 in this season. 39:29 That's not, that wouldn't have to be in Panama, would it? 39:31 Yes it is in Panama, the nice weather. 39:32 You need anybody to go with you to go visit momma. 39:35 Yes. Everybody, come, come. I like mom. 39:37 I'd like to get to know her a little bit. 39:38 Yes, very. 39:39 She's trying to get you down there for years. 39:42 Everyone is welcome. Yes, yes. 39:45 Tim will go with you. If we have to row even. 39:47 Tim says, row, row, row, your boat. 39:50 We'll go down there. 39:51 Well, Yvonne Lewis, why don't we-- 39:53 You wanna get up right now and sing a song for us 39:55 and maybe give a little testimony. 39:56 Thank you. Sure. Thank you. 39:59 Yvonne, of course, is manager of Dare to Dream Network 40:01 and what an incredible job, 40:04 that responsibility, how she's taken that. 40:07 And that's literally her life right now, it's Dare to Dream. 40:10 And so thank you for your music, 40:12 for your love for Jesus 40:13 and what you do for the cause of God. 40:15 I praise the Lord for the opportunity 40:17 to do what He's equipped me to do 40:20 and the things that I'm, that I feel ill equipped for, 40:23 He just continues to bless me. So I'm so grateful to the Lord. 40:29 You know, in this season, when you think about, 40:32 as a mother, I think about Mary 40:35 holding her baby and looking at Him, 40:39 and seeing in His face, just this is her baby, 40:43 but more than that 40:44 she saw this was heaven's child. 41:05 She rocked her tiny baby 41:09 To warm him from the cold 41:13 Hardly what she pictured 41:17 In the prophecies of old 41:21 It seemed almost impossible 41:25 To think it could be true 41:29 But as she pondered in her heart 41:34 She knew 41:36 This was heaven's child 41:40 This was heaven's child 41:45 In an earthen stable 41:49 Wrapped in Glory, meek and mild 41:53 Joseph wept with wonder 41:57 As Mary sweetly smiled 42:03 Because they knew 42:06 This was heaven's child 42:16 The angels must have missed Him 42:20 As they sang Him to sleep 42:24 But they marveled at the promises 42:28 This baby came to keep 42:32 His Father must have felt 42:35 It was great sadness and great joy 42:40 As He watched His little baby boy 42:47 'Cause this was heaven's child 42:51 This was heaven's child 42:56 In an earthen stable 42:59 Wrapped in glory, meek and mild 43:04 Joseph wept with wonder 43:08 As Mary sweetly smiled 43:13 Because they knew 43:16 This was heaven's child 43:22 Mary's little baby boy 43:27 Was Joseph's pride and joy 43:31 Still they wished the world would see 43:35 That He was so much more 43:41 This was heaven's child 43:44 This was heaven's child 43:49 In an earthen stable 43:53 Wrapped in glory, meek and mild 43:57 Joseph wept with wonder 44:01 As Mary sweetly smiled 44:08 Because they knew 44:14 This was heaven's child 44:19 Oh 44:24 Because they knew 44:28 This was heaven's 44:35 Child 44:41 This was heaven's 44:47 Child 44:56 Amen. Thank you. 44:58 "Heaven's child," what a beautiful song. 45:00 Is that new, is that a new song or new to you? 45:03 It's new to me. New to you? 45:04 Does anybody else know it? 45:06 The Martins has recorded it. The Martins. 45:08 And I heard it last week and I thought, 45:11 Oh, I really would like to sing that song. 45:13 Oh, absolutely beautiful. 45:15 Well, we've got time for another song or two. 45:17 I can't believe this time is slipping away. 45:19 And we're gonna ask Celestine Berry 45:21 to come up and sing for us. 45:24 And Celestine, she's just a natural singer. 45:27 You know, she just picks up the mic. 45:29 The first time hear her, Time, she just starts singing, 45:31 it's like, wow, that's such a beautiful voice. 45:34 She's very humble, but loves Jesus. 45:37 But any time we ask her to sing, 45:39 she just comes over and sings. 45:40 Thank you, Celestine, for being here today. 45:42 Thank you. 46:07 I have traveled many moonless night 46:16 Cold and weary, with a babe inside 46:24 And I wonder what I've done 46:33 Holy Father, you have come 46:39 And chosen me now To carry Your Son 46:55 I am waiting in a silent prayer 47:04 I am frightened by the load I bear 47:12 In a world as cold as stone 47:21 Must I walk this path alone? 47:28 Be with me now, be with me now 47:39 Breath of heaven, hold me together 47:46 Be forever near me 47:50 Breath of heaven 47:54 Breath of heaven, light up my darkness 48:02 Pour over me your holiness 48:06 For you are holy 48:13 Breath of heaven 48:23 Do you wonder as you watch my face 48:32 If a wiser one should have had my place 48:40 But I offer all I am 48:49 For the mercy of your plan 48:55 Help me be strong, help me be 49:04 Help me 49:11 Breath of heaven 49:15 Hold me together 49:18 Be forever near me 49:22 Breath of heaven 49:27 Breath of heaven 49:31 Light up my darkness 49:34 Pour over me your holiness 49:38 For you are holy 49:46 Breath of heaven 49:51 Hold me together 49:54 Be forever near me 49:58 Breath of heaven 50:02 Breath of heaven 50:07 Light up my darkness 50:10 Pour over me your holiness 50:14 For you are holy 50:21 Breath of heaven 50:27 Breath of heaven 50:34 Breath of heaven 50:50 Amen. 50:52 Thank you Celestine. 50:54 Angie, you know, 50:58 there's a lot of strength right here for Celestine, 51:01 we don't want to talk about it too much, 51:02 but you know, you're a pastor's wife, and briefly, 51:05 a little bit, what she's been through, 51:07 and there's a lot of folk out here watching today, 51:09 that's gone through similar things, 51:11 but Celestine has gone through a great, great, loss and-- 51:15 Well, as all of us here know, she has lost her husband, 51:18 the love of her life after 16 years of marriage 51:22 and two beautiful daughters. 51:24 And it's been a rough road for her, 51:26 but we as a church family have been with her, 51:29 held her arms up and just, 51:32 we've been praying for her day and night 51:35 and we just know the Lord is with her even now. 51:38 Absolutely, it's a lot of inner strength that God has given 51:42 peace in the midst of the storm 51:43 and He wants to do that for you today too. 51:46 So we only have few more minutes. 51:48 Tim, maybe we should do-- 51:49 Let's do a little bit of "Away in a manger." 51:52 I'll start out, maybe can you like E flat? 51:55 Do E flat and maybe whatever you want to do 51:57 and then everybody join in if you want to. 52:04 Away in a manger 52:09 No crib for, for a bed 52:14 The little Lord Jesus 52:19 Laid down his sweet head 52:24 The stars in the sky 52:29 Looked down where He lay 52:34 The little Lord Jesus 52:40 Asleep in the hay 52:47 Everybody sing now. 52:49 The cattle are lowing 52:54 The baby awakes 52:59 But little Lord Jesus 53:04 No crying He makes 53:08 I love Thee, Lord Jesus 53:13 Look down from the sky 53:18 And stay by my cradle 53:23 Till morning is nigh 53:27 Hey, Tim, how about playing a verse 53:29 for us on that, would you? 53:54 That's like a good altar call music, isn't it, John? 53:57 I better not turn John, loose, Pastor John will be-- 54:00 we better sing and we'll make the altar call here 54:03 at the end, all right? 54:05 "Be near me Lord Jesus," let's all sing it together. 54:09 Be near me, Lord Jesus 54:14 I ask Thee to stay 54:19 Close by me forever 54:25 And love me, I pray 54:30 Bless all the dear children 54:35 In thy tender care 54:40 And take us to heaven 54:45 To live with Thee there 54:55 How about that, go back to G or A flat 54:58 and let's do a little "Silent Night." 55:01 Everybody. 55:02 Silent night, holy night 55:12 All is calm, all is bright 55:21 Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child 55:30 Holy infant 55:34 So tender and mild 55:39 Sleep in heavenly peace 55:49 Sleep in heavenly peace 55:59 Pastor John, now is the time. 56:02 You know, we think about 56:03 the Holiday season that we're in now 56:04 and what it means to all the families 56:07 that are going to be facing this time of year. 56:10 We know that even in our circle there's, 56:12 this is the intersection where the bitter and sweeter water 56:16 joins together and it takes on a meaning to us, 56:20 not just the time of receiving gifts, 56:23 but the time of remembering 56:25 that even in the midst of our burdens, 56:28 there's a Savior there carrying us. 56:30 You know, I think about Mary carrying Jesus, really, 56:32 Jesus carried Mary. 56:34 I think of Mary delivering Jesus, really, 56:37 Jesus delivering Mary. 56:39 And to us, He's the deliverer still, 56:42 He's the bright and morning star still, 56:44 in the midst of our darkness. 56:46 He's the rose of Sharon when the trees begin to fade. 56:49 When our lives are dry from the sadness of the world, 56:52 He's still the oil of gladness. 56:54 And so for those of you 56:55 that are celebrating this season, 56:57 you may be doing it alone, 57:00 but you may be wrapped in the joy of your family, 57:04 whether by yourself or with your family members, 57:06 remember this, He promised never to leave us, 57:10 never to forsake us. 57:13 So you may not feel His presence, 57:15 but He's there 57:16 and one day the joy that we experience in this season 57:20 will be given away to the joy that are eyes behold. 57:23 Amen. Praise the Lord. 57:24 We all had a good time today. 57:26 Oh, yes. All hearts cleared. 57:27 If so, what we're gonna do? 57:29 We want you to join us, we want to go out-- 57:31 Kenny, Brother Kenny, you just give in a good prayer for us. 57:34 We're just gonna go off today praying. 57:36 And maybe, Brother Tim, 57:37 you just play underneath it, all right? 57:39 Let's pray. 57:41 Merciful Father, in heaven and what a privilege to be 57:43 a part of the family of God today. 57:45 Thank You for this time of the season, 57:46 and we thank You, most of all, for Jesus. 57:49 Thankful for that little baby that willing to come, 57:51 to live, and to die, for each one of us. 57:54 Father, we thank You, we give You praise, 57:55 we give You honor, we give You glory, 57:57 for the Word says, it's in You 57:59 that we live and that we move 58:00 and that we have our being. 58:02 Thank You for this time. 58:03 Thank You for the closeness that we can, 58:05 God as we gather around with family and friends, 58:07 but most of all, with heaven. 58:08 We thank You and we love You today. 58:10 In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. 58:12 Amen. |
