00:09 of the Seventh Day Adventist Church is the 00:11 second coming of Christ. 00:12 The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, 00:17 the grand climax of the gospel. 00:19 The Savior's coming will be literal, personal, visible, 00:23 and world wide. 00:25 When He returns the righteous dead will be resurrected 00:28 and together with the righteous living 00:31 will be glorified and taken to heaven 00:33 but the unrighteous will die. 00:36 The almost complete fulfillment of most lines of prophecy 00:41 together with the present condition of the world 00:43 indicates that Christ's coming is imminent. 00:46 The time of that event has not been revealed, 00:49 and we are therefore exhorted to be ready at all times. 00:53 We base this belief on Hebrews 9:28, 00:57 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. 01:02 To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear 01:07 the second time, apart from sin, for salvation. 01:12 God richly bless you today. |
