00:10 Seventh-day Adventist Church is Spiritual Gifts and Ministries. 00:12 God bestows upon all members of His church in every age 00:17 spiritual gifts which each member is to employ for the 00:20 common good of the church, given by the agency of the 00:24 Holy Spirit and according to the scriptures. 00:26 These gifts include such ministries as faith, healing, 00:31 prophecy, proclamation, teaching, administration, 00:34 reconciliation, compassion, and self sacrificing service, 00:40 and charity. 00:42 Some are called of God and endowed by the spirit 00:45 for the functions recognized by the church and pastoral 00:48 evangelistic, apostolic, and teaching ministries to build up 00:52 the church to spiritual maturity, and to foster unity 00:56 of the faith and knowledge of God. 00:58 When members employ these spiritual gifts as 01:01 faithful stewards of God's very grace, 01:03 the church is protected from the destructive influence 01:06 of false doctrine and is built up in faith and in love. 01:10 God bless you on this beautiful day! |
