00:14 Welcome to 3ABN's Spring Camp Meeting 2017:
00:24 All of you: thank you for joining us here at
00:28 the Thompsonville Seventh-day Adventist Church
00:31 which is 3ABN's Worship Center.
00:34 And we are just so happy that you're here
00:37 to our Spring Camp Meeting. Spring... you're right!
00:40 I got it right this time!
00:41 I told Danny, last time I introduced or opened up
00:44 for Camp Meeting I called the Spring Camp Meeting
00:47 the Fall Camp Meeting. Last October or something
00:49 she said Spring. So hey, that's all right.
00:52 We're glad that they're all here, all of you, and those
00:55 of you at home: thank you for joining us.
00:56 We've been having a wonderful time and a spiritual time.
00:59 Yes we have. And I feel extremely blessed
01:01 that each and every one of you are here.
01:03 And we walked around this afternoon and got to meet
01:06 quite a few of the folks. We want to do that again
01:08 tomorrow. And also, last night we offered the books.
01:11 We had 16,000 some odd books and ya'll took them home.
01:14 All night... We kept out a few hundred.
01:17 But tomorrow afternoon we're going to have 23,000 more
01:20 that's here. Dwight's bringing them down.
01:22 So if you all make sure you get your books -
01:24 the Spiritual Vigilantes - before you go home
01:27 and pass those out. Well, I'm glad to have a group up here
01:30 with us, and I think it's time... Reggie and Ladye,
01:31 we're glad that... You weren't here last night.
01:33 Melody... And we're looking forward to your...
01:35 Reggie is with the Gaither Vocal Band now.
01:38 Anybody know the Vocal Band?
01:40 A lot of you folk do? So he's there, but
01:43 of course he and Ladye and Bret, they still get time to travel
01:46 as a family. And of course we have Bro. Tim Parton over on the
01:48 piano. Let's do a song. What song are we doin'?
01:51 Let's do When We All Get To Heaven?
01:52 When We All Get To Heaven. All right.
01:53 We should put the words up on the screen for everybody.
02:00 Sing it out:
03:10 All right! I'm in for a blessing tonight, how about you?
03:13 Amen! I'm going to ask Pastor John if you'll come up
03:16 and lead us in a prayer. And we just ask for a great
03:19 outpouring of the Holy Spirit tonight.
03:21 Amen. Let us pray.
03:22 Loving Father in heaven, we thank you for the opportunity
03:25 tonight once again to not just enjoy this encampment
03:29 but, Father, to tarry under the canopy of Your blessings.
03:35 Each one of us has come with an empty cup
03:37 and we want that cup to be filled... not just
03:40 with information, Father, but with Your Holy Spirit.
03:43 Each one of us is in need of strengthening tonight
03:45 and so, Lord, once again Your manservants and Your
03:48 maidservants have blessed our hearts.
03:50 Tonight, Lord, once again speak to our hearts
03:53 through the music that is to uplift Your holy name.
03:56 And when our meeting tonight is done, Lord, may we know that
03:59 we have not only been in Your presence
04:00 but we look forward to the day when we all get to heaven
04:03 to rejoice with You through the ceaseless ages of eternity.
04:07 This we ask in Jesus' name, Amen. Amen!
04:11 Well it's a great privilege to have Reggie and Ladye Love
04:13 Smith. So we're going to turn it over to you guys
04:15 to maybe do a couple of songs for us.
04:18 And we're so blessed to have Reggie.
04:20 How many have been ministered to by these folks?
04:23 OK. How many have not heard them sing before? Anybody here?
04:26 A few hands... all right.
04:27 You want to look over there and sing to him.
04:29 And who out... Sing to her?
04:33 All right... we'll sing to her. We'll sing to both of you
04:35 that haven't heard 'em. OK.
04:37 We're glad that you're here and God bless you.
04:46 Well the music's not playing yet so I'm going to talk until they
04:48 start playing the music. We're so honored to be here
04:51 with you at Camp Meeting. Are ya'll ready to have a great
04:53 time the rest of the weekend? Amen!
04:54 All right... we're ready, you guys.
05:11 Can He? Could He?
05:14 Would He? Did He?
05:16 He can, He could, yes, He can, He could, He would
05:19 and He did!
05:21 I said: Can He? Could He? Would He? Did He?
05:28 He can, He could, He would... Yes, He can, He could, He would
05:30 and He did!
05:33 From the moment I heard about the Lord and His Word
05:36 well it seemed too good to be true.
05:39 There were questions and doubts, I tried to figure it out
05:42 but the best that I could do was to wander around
05:46 in this love that I found until the questions started
05:48 answering themselves and saying:
05:50 He can, He could, He would... Yes, He can, He could, He would
05:53 and He did!
05:56 Well can He? Could He?
05:59 Would He? Did He?
06:02 He can, He could, He would... Yes, He can, He could, He would
06:04 and He did!
06:06 I said: Can He? Could He?
06:10 Would He? Did He?
06:13 He can, He could, He would... Yes, He can, He could, He would
06:15 and He did!
06:18 A do-do-do-do-do-do... do-do-do-do...
06:22 do-do-do... do-do-do-do...
06:24 do, do, do, do
06:27 do-do-, do-do, do-do, do-do...
06:30 do-do-do-do-do-do... do-do-do-do...
06:33 do-do-do... do-do-do-do...
06:36 do, do, do, do
06:39 I know that He did.
06:41 Well, can He? Could He?
06:44 Would He? Did He?
06:47 He can, He could, He would... Yes, He can, He could, He would
06:49 and He did! I know, I know He did.
06:52 I said: Did He? Could He?
06:55 Would He? Did He?
06:58 He can, He could, He would... Yes, He can, He could, He would
07:00 and He did! I know... Yes, He did!
07:04 Well, can He? Could He?
07:06 Would He? Did He?
07:09 He can, He could, He would... Yes, He can, He could, He would
07:12 and He did! I know He can!
07:14 I know He can! And I know He will!
07:17 And He did!
07:22 He did!
07:31 Amen!
07:33 Amen.
07:40 This next song we're going to sing is on the Calvary project.
07:44 It's on the Calvary project on 3ABN... that's right.
07:46 Danny wrote it and it's called I'll Never Know.
07:50 Sorry.
07:57 I don't pretend
07:59 to comprehend
08:03 all the wonders and all the mysteries
08:11 of why You gave
08:14 Your life to save
08:18 the ones You know would nail You to the tree.
08:27 I've often read
08:29 the words You said
08:33 about forgiveness and the failures
08:37 all erased.
08:42 I've understood
08:45 as best I could
08:49 but how could I begin to fathom grace?
08:55 I'll never know
08:58 what made You leave Your throne.
09:02 I'll never know
09:05 why You chose Calvary.
09:10 And knowing who I am
09:13 I know that I will never understand
09:18 why One like You
09:20 would die for one like me...
09:24 I'll never know
09:27 but forever I'll believe.
09:34 What kind of love would leave
09:37 a throne in heaven
09:40 to become like the ones
09:44 He came to save?
09:48 What power, what compassion
09:52 would hold Him to a cross
09:55 then raise Him up
09:57 triumphant from the grave?
10:06 I'll never know
10:09 what made You leave Your throne.
10:13 I'll never know
10:16 why You chose Calvary.
10:21 And knowing who I am
10:24 I know that I will never understand
10:29 why One like You
10:31 would die for one like me.
10:36 I'll never know
10:40 but forever I'll
10:45 believe!
10:54 Forever and ever
10:57 I'll believe.
11:06 Amen!
11:08 Amen! Thank you... that's beautiful!
11:12 Love you guys. You know that, right?
11:14 All right. Thank you, Miss Ladye Love. I'm gonna hug you!
11:16 I just shake Reggie's hand and I hug you!
11:19 All right. Wow! What an incred- ible gift of music they have
11:23 and an anointing of the Holy Spirit!
11:25 Tonight is the place to be I want to tell you
11:28 because the line-up of folk that God has sent this way
11:31 is amazing. Our next singer we're trying to give him
11:35 a start. I think he's trying to get a start in music.
11:37 And he may be a little bashful and a little shy.
11:41 I don't know if you've ever heard of him before
11:43 but I'm going to introduce him. Maybe for the first time
11:45 for some of you... his name is Wintley Phipps.
11:49 Come on out, Pastor Phipps.
11:54 All right... all right!
11:56 We've been buddies for over a quarter of a century
11:58 so you can say that when we've been together for a long time.
12:02 What an incredible, incredible gift God has given this man.
12:05 How many was here today for the sermon? Wasn't that wonderful?
12:09 Amen! And God has anointed you not only in your music
12:12 but your preaching and the ministry that you have
12:14 and your Dream Academy and all of that.
12:16 So you know we love you and we support you.
12:18 Thank you, man. Thank you for being here at 3ABN.
12:20 And you're going to be preaching for us in just a little bit too.
12:22 That's right. All right. All right... God bless you.
12:24 I hope this song blesses you tonight.
12:47 Let there be peace on earth
12:53 and let it begin
12:57 with me.
13:01 Let there be peace on earth...
13:07 the peace
13:09 that was meant to be.
13:14 With God as
13:18 our Father
13:21 brothers all are we.
13:29 Let me walk
13:31 with my brother
13:35 in perfect
13:38 harmony.
13:43 Let peace
13:46 begin with me...
13:49 let this be
13:51 the moment now.
13:57 With every step
14:01 I take
14:03 let this be my solemn vow:
14:10 to take each moment
14:14 and live each moment
14:17 in peace
14:19 eternally!
14:25 Let there
14:28 be peace on earth
14:32 and let it begin
14:35 with me! Sing it with us:
14:38 Let there be peace on earth
14:42 and let it begin
14:45 with me. Oh, you sound beautiful singing together!
14:50 Let there be peace on earth...
14:56 the peace that was meant to be.
15:02 Beautiful!
15:03 With God as
15:06 our Father
15:10 brothers all are we.
15:17 Let me walk with my brother
15:24 in perfect harmony.
15:31 Let peace
15:35 begin with me;
15:38 let this be the moment now.
15:45 With every step
15:50 I take
15:52 let this be
15:54 my solemn vow:
15:59 to take each moment
16:03 and live each moment
16:06 in peace
16:08 eternally!
16:14 Let there
16:17 be peace on earth
16:21 and let it begin
16:27 with me!
16:40 Amen!
16:45 Praise the name of God!
16:48 I hope you enjoy this song.
16:49 It's a message that is so beautiful.
16:51 It tells of our gratitude to God for all He's done for us.
16:56 Listen to the message in the song.
17:29 How can I say "thanks"
17:36 for all the things
17:39 You have done for me?
17:43 Things so undeserved
17:49 yet You gave
17:52 to prove Your love for me.
17:57 The voices of a million angels
18:03 could not express
18:06 my gratitude!
18:10 All that I am
18:12 and ever hope to be:
18:18 I owe it all to Thee.
18:25 To God
18:28 be the glory!
18:33 To God
18:36 be the glory!
18:41 To God be the glory
18:46 for the things
18:49 He hath done.
18:54 With His blood
18:57 He has saved me;
19:01 with His power
19:04 He has raised me.
19:08 To God
19:11 be the glory
19:15 for the things He hath done!
19:21 Just let me live
19:26 my life
19:29 and let it be pleasing,
19:32 Lord, to Thee.
19:36 And should I gain... gain any praise
19:42 let it go to
19:44 Calvary...
19:50 Calvary!
19:55 Oh, with His blood
20:01 He has saved me;
20:05 with His power
20:08 He has raised me.
20:12 To God
20:16 be the glory
20:19 for the things
20:22 He hath done!
20:26 To God be
20:31 the glory
20:34 for the things...
20:37 for all the things...
20:40 for all the things
20:43 He hath done!
21:00 Amen! Amen!
21:03 Praise the Lord! Thank you!
21:06 Think what it would've sounded like if it was the song
21:09 he was supposed to do. I think they surprised you with that.
21:12 No... OK... that's good. But it was a great one absolutely.
21:15 Thank you so much. Wow! What an incredible voice!
21:18 We didn't think it would be fair to put a singer after that
21:22 so we rearranged things a little bit...
21:24 'cause who would want to sing after that? Right?
21:27 I wouldn't... for sure.
21:28 So what we've done: we've asked NAPS to come out.
21:31 How many love the group NAPS? You know who NAPS are, right?
21:34 From Oakwood? All right... here we go.
21:36 We've got Ezrica Bennett. All right... here we go.
21:39 Come out Ezrica. We've got your group
21:41 and got a couple of my twins. We're triplets, actually.
21:44 The three of us right here. OK... here you go.
21:47 Here you go. Now... anybody... whoever it was.
21:50 One of you was talking smart to me today.
21:52 If you want to do that, come and talk to these guys,
21:55 all right? They're my bodyguards.
21:57 No... we're so glad to have you all here today.
21:58 Come on up here. You're going to be. Now Darla's not here...
22:01 she's not here... so you're the spokesperson, right?
22:03 I am today, yes. We're so happy. NAPS is such an incredible
22:07 organization. For those of you that doesn't know the group
22:11 that doesn't mean naps like this.
22:13 But your NAPS is busy. Tell us what NAPS stands for.
22:15 NAPS stands for the National Association for the Prevention
22:19 of Starvation. All right. And so you all do what?
22:22 Well, we're student missionaries that travel the country
22:25 and the world spreading the love of God.
22:27 I guess it takes on many faces so whether it's through
22:30 feeding programs or evangelistic meetings.
22:33 We go to schools and juvenile detention centers.
22:35 Our primary goal is to just let people know that
22:38 Jesus loves them first of all
22:41 and that He's coming for them soon.
22:42 All right... that's wonderful. Now do you have any projects
22:46 because each year when you come... In fact, they always
22:48 come. They volunteer. They're teaching our young people.
22:51 Isn't that great? They come up here
22:52 and so when your children are in good hands...
22:55 And quite a few of the group aren't up here right now
22:58 because they're actually back there taking care of the
23:01 young folk. But ya'll come and you're such a blessing.
23:03 So usually we ask you if you have a project
23:06 that we can help financially.
23:07 So... do you have something this year?
23:10 Absolutely. The work is always continuing.
23:12 By the grace of God two things are coming up really soon.
23:16 This month actually we're leaving to go to Ethiopia
23:20 Africa. We were there about 16 years ago.
23:23 And it was a privilege, it was a blessing to be over there.
23:26 Hundreds of people were able to be baptized
23:29 and there are tremendous testimonies like meeting
23:32 a prostitute on the way to the interior of Africa.
23:36 Telling her about God's love she drops everything
23:39 and comes with us on the mission
23:40 and gets baptized by the end of the mission.
23:43 It's truly a blessing. Praise the Lord! Yes!
23:45 Praise the Lord! Absolutely! Praise the Lord!
23:47 OK, so what we want to do... If the Holy Spirit's impressing
23:50 and you would like to support NAPS you can make out...
23:52 Can they just make it to NAPS? They can... yes.
23:54 A check. If for some reason... Those of you watching
23:58 we'll try to put up an address. If nothing else, you can just
24:01 put a check to 3ABN but put NAPS in the corner
24:05 and we promise it'll get to you 'cause we love these folks.
24:07 And we support you and have for many many years
24:09 because we've seen what great examples you are to young people
24:13 and to some of us older folk around the world.
24:16 You're an incredible group of folks. I'm going to turn it over
24:18 to you right now. And I know some of the folks
24:20 have got things to say and you've got some slides
24:22 and stuff... pictures for us, right? Absolutely.
24:23 Thank you so much. And truly we really want to thank you.
24:27 Doc sends his best to you. He wishes he could be here
24:30 and Darla as well. I've been a part of this organization
24:34 for the last 9 years and so I've been to 3ABN a good amount
24:37 of times. And we just want to thank you for your support,
24:40 for your prayers, your encouragement.
24:42 The testimonies that we're going to share... they're not NAPS's
24:45 testimonies, they're OUR testimonies.
24:47 And so we just wanted to extend a true and genuine thank you
24:51 for all that you've done for this organization and also
24:53 for being an example. Oh, thank you.
24:55 Absolutely. Praise the Lord! Yes... Amen!
25:00 Praise the Lord!
25:01 And as I mentioned, we're student missionaries
25:04 that travel the country and the world spreading the love of God.
25:07 By the grace of God, recently NAPS has broadened
25:11 its horizons here in the United States.
25:13 We have now a southern campus. Our original campus
25:16 is in Huntsville, Alabama.
25:18 But now we have a southern campus in Sawyerville, Alabama.
25:21 And on that campus there are a couple of things.
25:23 There is an academy, an elementary school.
25:26 There is a wellness center and coming soon there's going to be
25:29 an evangelistic school by the grace of God.
25:33 The area that the southern campus is seated in
25:36 is an area that truly needs the gospel.
25:40 There is depravity not only academically
25:42 but medically and spiritually.
25:44 And so one of the reasons for creating the school is
25:48 because the children out there, they're more than capable.
25:52 Anyone can learn. Everyone is capable of doing great things
25:56 but they just don't have the means and the resources
25:59 to realize their excellence.
26:01 In 2014 they took the statistics from the ACT
26:06 and 37%... only 37% of the students
26:12 met the English requirement.
26:13 Only 2.6% met the math requirement
26:17 and 4.3% of the students met the science requirement.
26:22 It's not because they're not capable...
26:24 but they just don't have the experience or they don't have...
26:28 With all of the schools that are failing in that area
26:30 they don't have the right schools to be excellent.
26:33 So God led us to open the school NALA.
26:36 the NAPS Abundant Life Academy.
26:38 And it's truly been a blessing so far.
26:41 This year we had one student come in
26:43 and she was functioning 4 grade levels beneath her potential.
26:47 So she's coming in and she's only reading
26:49 at second or so grade level but she's in somewhere around
26:53 the sixth or seventh grade.
26:54 But by the grace of God... and our teachers there...
26:57 I mean, they're my friends so maybe I'm biased
26:59 but they're great! They love their students.
27:02 They work with them; they pray for them.
27:04 Within this year alone she's been able to increase
27:07 three grade levels, and that's truly a blessing.
27:10 But not only that, because it is great to be academically
27:13 successful, but we know that there is something even greater:
27:16 that's finding success in the spiritual realm.
27:19 This young lady told her principal, Miss Nedd, that
27:23 coming to this school changed her life forever.
27:26 She feels so close to God. She has a relationship with
27:29 Him now. And not only that, her family who's not
27:32 Christian also see the difference. And of course
27:34 I mean I guess as a parent you would notice the difference
27:36 when your kid is like: "I'll wash the dishes. "
27:38 Right? But they see that she's learning to love the Lord.
27:42 So by the grace of God that's one of the updates.
27:45 NALA is continuing to be a light in that area.
27:49 But also on the southern campus we have our wellness center.
27:54 So the testimonies don't stop there.
27:57 At the wellness center we've been able to meet many needs
28:01 because also the healthcare system is also failing
28:04 in that community. But we see time and again
28:07 while people come with health disparities they leave
28:12 knowing that the Lord has so much more in store for them.
28:17 So, yes, there was one person who came,
28:19 and she came for stress. She wanted stress relief
28:23 but when she left she wasn't of the SDA faith
28:26 but during our worship we also teach about the fundamental...
28:30 the fundamental doctrines of the SDA faith
28:33 and she left passionate. She said: "I'm going to share
28:36 this with my pastor and I'm also going to share it
28:38 with my church members. "
28:40 And until this day she is still asking for resources
28:44 so she can share the different doctrines that she learned.
28:47 So she shared about the Sabbath and also the state of the dead,
28:51 about the destruction of the wicked...
28:53 All the things that we know... she's sharing it at her church.
28:57 So the blessings keep coming. And also another miracle
29:01 that I know when you avail yourself
29:05 to God's work He gives you resources.
29:08 He gives you insight and wisdom on how to bless others.
29:11 Our president and founder of NAPS, Dr. Anthony Paul,
29:15 he has traveled. In over 25 years of research
29:20 he's been able to acquire plants from different places
29:25 in the...all over the world.
29:27 And this... it's a natural remedy of many different types
29:33 of herbs and plants. And when people consistently take this
29:38 natural remedy it has given a 100%
29:43 success rate for hypertension.
29:45 People who were on medication no longer are!
29:48 It drastically decreases. People who have been on diabetes
29:53 are no longer on medication.
29:54 People who suffer from insomnia, who have arthritic issues
29:59 are no longer needing medication.
30:01 So we praise God for the different testimonies that
30:04 continue to come in. Amen! Amen! And then
30:07 my friend Beta... well, Adrian... he's going to tell us
30:11 about another program that's developing
30:14 or in the process of being developed.
30:15 Yeah, so in addition to the schools and also to the wellness
30:18 center this upcoming year the Lord has inspired us
30:21 this August to start a very special program.
30:23 We're starting a medical missionary training program.
30:26 And it's very important in the area we are in
30:28 because these people are desper- ate to know the love of God.
30:32 So the Lord has inspired us to open the doors
30:34 to train young people to come out and learn how to work
30:37 in these dark areas in rural Alabama and Mississippi.
30:40 What's special about this program is when these young
30:42 people complete the program they'll have an opportunity
30:44 to work with the South Central Conference
30:46 and plant churches in those same areas.
30:48 So keep us in your prayers as we start this program.
30:51 And if any of you guys are interested, please visit
30:52 our website: napsoc.org
30:55 Yes. And when you go there you'll be able to find out
30:57 more information. Amen!
30:59 When I grow up I want to be just like you.
31:03 And outside of the southern campus another part of our
31:06 organization is we travel throughout the country
31:09 and the world as I previously mentioned.
31:11 Right here we have Avery, and he's the director
31:14 of something called YOD which stands for Year of Dedication
31:18 where students take a year of their life and give it
31:20 to the Lord in full-time service.
31:22 So Avery has some testimonies and some statistics from what
31:26 by the grace of God he and his team have been able to do.
31:28 Amen. And so I've been able to travel with NAPS
31:31 to seven different states working in 14 major cities
31:34 this year ever since August.
31:36 And I want you guys to know we've been making a serious
31:38 impact for the kingdom. We've been able to go to over
31:41 fifty different schools encouraging the youth
31:43 just to work for the Lord and never be discouraged.
31:46 We've also been going to juvenile detention centers.
31:49 We've been able to minister at 10 different juvenile detention
31:51 centers letting the youth that are there know that they can
31:53 still have a chance with Christ in their life.
31:55 And we also have done a lot of canvassing.
31:57 We've canvassed over 200 hours this year
32:00 and passed out almost 4,000 pieces of literature
32:03 about Jesus. Just letting the people know
32:05 that He's coming back very soon.
32:08 And two months ago we actually returned from Haiti
32:10 on a mission trip. And what was so special about
32:13 this mission trip is that last year we were in Haiti again...
32:16 last year we were in Haiti the first time.
32:18 And so we returned this year to build a church.
32:20 And I want you guys to know that the church has been built:
32:22 the first SDA church in the area! Amen!
32:26 And also a testimony is the place where we were staying
32:29 the mayor of the city, he saw NAPS last year
32:32 and he saw all of the work that we did.
32:33 And now this year when we came back he and his wife
32:36 both got baptized. And I'm sure that many more will
32:39 follow suit and join the SDA faith because of him.
32:42 Thank you. Amen! Amen!
32:45 And truly it's a privilege working for the Lord.
32:47 I don't know... I think God is kind of cool.
32:49 He does things that remind us how much He loves us.
32:53 And I think one of those is those moments you know that
32:56 God truly is leading your path.
32:58 Right here I want to introduce two of my friends.
33:01 This is Odaly and this is my other friend Brianna.
33:05 And the testimony of Odaly is that 18 years ago
33:08 we were in Costa Rica doing a mission trip.
33:10 Eighteen years ago! I was like a toddler then!
33:13 And... Me, too!
33:17 And by the grace of God the team... they were able to
33:21 meet Odaly, and she is going to briefly share
33:24 in her language what happened when she saw NAPS
33:27 eighteen years ago.
33:28 And Brianna's going to give a paraphrase in English.
34:16 Odaly is so thankful because eighteen years ago
34:19 NAPS came to Costa Rica and God led her to work with them.
34:23 She was able to do Bible studies, church programs,
34:26 and she was even able to help with the baptisms there.
34:29 And now 18 years later God has brought her back
34:31 to NAPS and she was able to do two mission trips this year,
34:34 one to New Orleans and one to Minnesota.
34:37 And she is so thankful because she loves working for the Lord.
34:40 And she also loves NAPS because it grows her spiritual life.
34:43 Amen! Absolutely.
34:46 And so there are so many testimonies!
34:48 To be honest, I don't even know... Like if we were to
34:51 sit down and just tell you all the things we've seen God do
34:54 I think it would take - like - a lifetime!
34:56 So God is just SO amazing.
34:59 But, you know, instead of just saying it to you
35:02 we actually... we made a book and we have something special
35:06 for you. Oh... OK... good.
35:07 We are so excited! This is our second testimonial book.
35:11 It's called The Power of One: Testimonies of God's Power
35:15 on the Mission Field.
35:16 And this is an 8-week devotional and it has different topics
35:20 like miracles of God and true education.
35:23 Each week has mission stories, Bible stories,
35:26 and even songs. And we actually just picked this up
35:30 just a few hours ago and we wanted to give our first copy
35:32 to you. Oh wow! Thank you! And we just want to say
35:34 thank you 'cause these testimonies wouldn't be here
35:36 without your support. Thank you... thank you!
35:41 Thank you! This is wonderful!
35:43 I'm going to keep this and cherish it.
35:46 Maybe... let's see if you signed it.
35:48 OK, I'm going to give it back and you all sign it before you.
35:51 You're going to sign it and that way I can go home
35:53 and say: "I know these folk... I saw them on TV! "
35:55 "I saw them on 3ABN. "
35:57 Listen, thank you so much for what you do.
36:00 It's true: they could give testimony for hours
36:03 and hours of what this group... And thanks to Dr. Paul
36:07 for so many years. He's been coming 15, 18... I don't know
36:11 how many years they've been coming up.
36:13 And all the work that you have done around the world.
36:15 You'll only know when you get to heaven.
36:18 People will come up and say: "Thank you
36:20 for what you did for me. I'm here today because of NAPS. "
36:23 Thank you. God bless you all.
36:31 When the NAPS group's come up for years I go play basketball
36:34 with them so they brought me a plaque.
36:37 Now somebody'll say: "You shouldn't say this
36:39 in public, " but it's true and we love each other.
36:42 They brought me a plaque I have in my office
36:45 and it says: "Thanks for your support of NAPS.
36:48 And because of your unusual athletic abilities
36:51 we name you an honorary Negro man. "
36:54 So I'm an honorary Negro man.
36:57 So I'm so happy about it I go to see Pastor C.A. Murray,
37:01 right? And this is like a year or two later.
37:03 I say: "Pastor Murray, look. I want you to know something. "
37:06 I say: "We've got something in common.
37:08 I said: "I'm a Negro man. " And he said:
37:10 "We're not Negroes any more. "
37:12 And I said: "Well... what are we? "
37:15 I said: "Well, if we're not Negroes, what are we? "
37:17 He said: "Well we're black or we're African-American. "
37:20 So I had to talk to NAPS two or three years ago
37:23 and I said: "Now I don't want to seem ungrateful
37:25 'cause I'm really happy, it's a great honor
37:27 but Pastor Murray says that we're African-Americans
37:31 and I'd like another plaque. "
37:35 So with my hand up they brought me another plaque
37:37 and so now it says I'm an honorary African-American man.
37:41 So thank you... there you go.
37:44 Thank you NAPS. All right!
37:47 It's my privilege right now to bring out... I think
37:50 my daughter Melody is scheduled next.
37:53 And are you here, Melody?
37:55 She's probably embarrassed after all of that.
37:57 You might... You're used to it, aren't you?
38:01 Or you don't get used to that?
38:03 I love you, honey.
38:06 I love you.
38:07 And I'm so thankful for all the babies. You and Greg
38:10 and eight grandchildren.
38:12 And it's so great to have them up here.
38:14 When Melody was born we named her Melody in faith
38:18 that God would give her musical abilities.
38:20 And He's done that. We said: "Lord, we'll raise her
38:23 in an atmosphere free of any other type of music. "
38:25 So her mother and I and her two sisters: Lisa and Rhonda,
38:29 we sang together and had a little ministry
38:32 till her mother and Melody were in an accident in 1982.
38:36 And her mother was killed on June 30, 1982.
38:39 And we continued to sing and Melody's continued to sing
38:43 for the Lord. And so I'm so thankful that you're here.
38:45 And I just love hearing you sing and minister
38:48 and I know I'm not prejudiced... surely.
38:50 But you have such a beautiful gift and talent
38:53 and I look forward to... What are you going to sing for us
38:55 tonight? Written in Red. Beautiful!
39:11 In letters of crimson
39:16 God wrote His love
39:20 with the same hand that suffered
39:24 and bled.
39:29 Giving all that He
39:35 had to give
39:37 the message
39:40 so easily read.
39:46 It said:
39:49 "I love you,
39:54 I love you. "
39:59 That's
40:00 what Calvary says.
40:08 "I love you,
40:14 I love you! "
40:20 "I love you
40:23 and it's written in red! "
40:36 Down through the ages
40:41 God wrote His love
40:46 on a hillside
40:48 so long long ago.
40:54 And as for you and for me
40:59 Jesus died
41:03 and love's greatest story
41:08 was told:
41:14 "I love you,
41:19 I love you! "
41:22 That's
41:24 what Calvary says!
41:32 "I love you,
41:37 I love you! "
41:43 "I love you... "
41:48 Oh, precious
41:53 is the flow
41:57 that makes me
42:01 white as snow!
42:07 No other fount
42:12 I know...
42:16 nothing but the blood...
42:19 the blood of Jesus!
42:25 'I love you,
42:30 I love you! "
42:33 That's what Calvary
42:38 says!
42:44 "I love you,
42:48 I love you! "
42:55 "I love you
42:57 and it's written
43:02 in red. "
43:44 Won't you sing this with me?
47:16 So take it
47:20 to the Lord
47:23 in prayer.
47:30 I want to invite my dear friends Ladye and Reggie out.
47:37 Let's sing this song... a great old AndraƩ Crouch tune...
47:40 sing Through It All.
47:45 I've had many years of sorrow,
47:50 had questions for tomorrow,
47:54 there've been times I didn't know right from wrong.
48:02 But in every situation
48:07 God gave me blessed consolation...
48:11 that my trials only come to make me strong.
48:20 Been a lot of places,
48:24 seen many faces,
48:28 but there've been times I felt so all alone.
48:36 But in that lonely hour,
48:40 that precious lonely hour,
48:44 Jesus let me know I was His own!
48:50 Sing it together:
48:52 Through it all...
48:56 through it all
48:59 I've learned to trust in Jesus,
49:03 I've learned to trust in God!
49:06 Through it all... Through it all...
49:11 through it all
49:14 I've learned to depend
49:18 upon His Word.
49:27 I thank God for the mountains
49:31 and I thank Him for the valleys.
49:35 I thank Him for the storms
49:38 He's brought me through.
49:43 'Cause if I'd never had a problem
49:47 I wouldn't know that He could solve them...
49:51 I wouldn't know what faith in His Word
49:55 would do.
49:57 That's why we're singing: Through it all...
50:03 through it all
50:06 I've learned to trust in Jesus,
50:10 I've learned to trust in God! Sing: Through it all...
50:15 Through it all...
50:18 through it all
50:22 I've learned to depend
50:25 upon His Word. Sing it one more time; sing it again:
50:30 Through it all...
50:34 through it all
50:38 I've learned to trust in Jesus,
50:41 oh yes, I've learned to trust in God.
50:45 Oh, through it all...
50:50 through it all
50:53 I've learned to depend upon His Word...
50:59 Sing that again:
51:01 I've learned to depend
51:05 upon His Word... Sing that again here we go: I've learned...
51:09 I've learned to depend
51:14 upon His Word.
51:26 Amen!
51:28 Do you do? Want to do I Will Serve Thee?
51:32 You know what key you do that in?
51:34 One of 'em... we'll do it in one of 'em.
51:36 OK.
51:45 I will serve Thee
51:50 because I love Thee!
51:56 You have given
52:02 life to me!
52:09 I was nothing
52:16 before You
52:19 found me.
52:23 You have given
52:29 life to me!
52:38 Heartaches,
52:44 broken pieces,
52:51 ruined lives
52:56 are why
52:58 You died on
53:03 Calvary.
53:07 Your touch
53:11 was what
53:13 I longed for!
53:20 You have
53:23 given life
53:28 to me!
54:25 Heartaches,
54:30 broken pieces,
54:37 ruined lives
54:43 are why
54:45 You died on
54:50 Calvary.
54:53 Your touch
54:57 was what
54:59 I longed for.
55:06 You have
55:08 given life
55:14 to me...
55:22 You have
55:25 given
55:30 life
55:33 to me!
55:48 Thank you! That is so beautiful!
55:51 We're about to close out. I love soundtracks
55:54 and I use them and I love the orchestration
55:56 but there's something special about just getting around
55:58 the piano - Amen - and singing. It kind of reminds me
56:01 of my childhood. I grew up in a family - a lot of you did -
56:04 where you had piano players. My mother and my brother
56:06 and then some of us played guitar, bass,
56:08 and get around... And we didn't sound like this
56:10 by any means, but there's something special about it.
56:13 And so thank you all for what you do. Come on up here.
56:16 And Tim... beautiful! Thank you so much.
56:18 We're... We only have about a minute left, and I'd
56:21 like to take this time. We're going... Pastor Rosario, Jay,
56:25 is going to be up here. And then after that we're going to have
56:27 Pastor Wintley Phipps to close out the evening.
56:29 But what a spiritual evening it's been.
56:31 I'm here and we have some fun. Is it OK to have fun
56:34 a little bit? I know I kid a lot
56:36 and I do a lot of things, but I think Christians ought to be
56:38 the happiest most excited people on planet earth.
56:41 And so whatever I say take it in good...
56:44 Just be like my dad and say: "I don't think he knows
56:47 any better. " Excuse me... "I don't think he's all there. "
56:51 Somebody's say something about me. "Is that your boy? "
56:54 He'd say: "Yeah, but you can tell by his little face
56:56 he's not all there. " He'd say...
56:59 So I kind of grew up... My dad had a great sense of humor.
57:02 He was a great guy, so take it that we love you.
57:05 And now's a good time - a great time. If there's something
57:09 between you and Jesus that's keeping you from that close
57:11 relationship I'm just going to invite you to submit and commit
57:14 your life to Him and say: "Lord, I WILL serve You. "
57:17 And I promise you God will do great and mighty and marvelous
57:21 things in you and through you.
57:23 He died for you... made a plan of salvation for you
57:26 and is coming back for you very soon.
