great movement and that choice

some practical guidance, some

So we're learning to depend upon

making and then stillness and

I never would have noticed these

it not been for a neighbor when

we lived in Redlands, California
Southern California. I had a

neighbor named Bill and Bill
told me one day out of the blue,

I wasn't in ministry at the time
he just told me that he noticed

the bees that flew in the orange
groves, that they would fly in

their normal patterns Sunday
through Friday but on Saturday

he said it was dead quiet. They
weren't going zooming by his

garage, he'd been in the garage,
but they weren't out there in

the normal patterns on Saturday.
So he told me that. Didn't

mean much to me at the time but
when I did move to the country

I started going on Sabbath
afternoon walks and I found this

really neat beaver colony. And
I was so fascinated by it that I

I would go out on my little

were, the beavers. So back on

I started noticing a little

pattern and I remember Bill's
bees. And I thought, I wonder

if these beavers are doing
what Bill's bees were doing.

So you'd see them on Sunday but
you never saw them on Sabbath.

saw them come out of their lodge

13 years of doing this, well it
was casual after about the first

two years, but after 13
years I felt impressed to make a

documentary about this. Our
ministry had grown a little bit

It got some more professional
TV equipment and cameras and

God's Sabbath day or through
time man has messed it up. So he

said, starting in 2013 when we

internet. I knew if any animal
