"meet the bridegroom.

familiar with this parable?

this or not, but in this parable

these ten virgins
are all Adventists.

And how do we know
that they're all Adventists?

Because they are looking
forward to the advent of Christ.

OK... so these
are all Adventists

and they are waiting
for the coming of the Lord.

The lamp represents the Word.

"Thy Word is a light unto my
feet and a lamp unto my path. "

So the Word of God is
here symbolized by the lamp.

Now, what this tells
us is that all ten virgins

are looking forward
to the coming of Christ.

They understand that
Christ is coming again.

They understand the
importance of the second coming.

But the Bible says that five
were wise and five were foolish.

The difference between the
wise and the foolish is that

the foolish did not bring
any oil and therefore their

lamps went out. And
when your lamp goes out

you can't see. Yeah?

When your lamp

And so... And so they
have no what? What did they

represents the Holy Spirit.

have the Holy Spirit,

this slumbering and sleeping

both the wise and the foolish.
