"put me in as Conference President... 08:16 I'm not sure why... but now I do 08:18 I believe God has put me here for such an hour as this 08:21 so I want to join hands together with 3ABN 08:24 and let's bring the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ 08:28 and the three angels' messages 08:30 to all the folk throughout London 08:32 and England and by television around the world... Pastor John Lomacang on stage. 09:50 Let us pray... 09:54 Father in heaven, 09:57 you have called... and we have answered 10:00 and Father, I pray this one more time 10:04 that you would send your Spirit 10:05 to speak to the hearts of your people 10:09 we stand on the portal of the eternal world 10:14 and we peer through the doors of joy and peace 10:18 but as yet, Father, there are still many souls 10:23 to be rescued from the hand of the enemy 10:25 and Father, you ordained today to be a day of deliverance 10:31 for someone else that they may attend 10:33 the banquet of the redeemed 10:35 and so, come now, Heavenly Spirit, 10:37 come now Holy Father, may Jesus be glorified 10:42 in His precious and Holy name I pray, amen. " 10:48 Matthew chapter 24 verse 32 and 33, 10:55 pause... 11:23 What do we do in a world 11:27 where more than one million people perish every day? 11:31 Pause... 11:33 What do we do in a society where human life has lost its value? 11:41 What do we do where hatred, crime, disease and poverty 11:47 are unstoppable and apparently overwhelming? 11:53 What do we do where it seems impossible to hide 11:59 from disease and sorrow and death? 12:03 The answer... to me... has been very simple 12:06 what God has called me to do for the last 13 nights, 12:09 the answer to the question, "What do we do?" 12:12 is... is we lift up Jesus. 12:14 This is the hour to lift Jesus higher 12:17 than He's ever been lifted before. 12:20 The answer for our world today is the Man Christ Jesus, 12:25 can somebody say, "Amen" today? 12:26 Audience: "Amen. " 12:28 This is the hour to run to Jesus. 12:30 The cross behind us, the crown before us, 12:34 let us run to Jesus, 12:36 Satan pursues us but Jesus invites us, 12:40 let us run to Jesus... 12:42 destructions surround us and eternal peace awaits us 12:46 let us run to Jesus, 12:48 can the church say, "Amen" today? 12:49 Audience: "Amen. " 12:51 The prophet of God in such inspiring language 12:54 says to us today, 12:55 in Prophets and Kings page 537 she says, 12:59 "The present... the present is a time of overwhelming interest 13:03 to all living... " 13:05 listen carefully, this documentary is... 13:08 is as contemporary as you'll find one. 13:11 She says, "Rulers and Statesmen... 13:14 men who occupy positions of trust and authority... 13:18 thinking men and women of all classes, 13:21 have their attention fixed upon 13:24 the elements taking place about us, 13:27 they are watching the restless relations 13:31 that exist among the nations. 13:34 They observe the intensity that is taking possession 13:38 of every earthly element 13:41 and they recognize 13:43 that something great and decisive is about to take place 13:47 and that the world is on the verge of a stupendous crisis. " 13:51 Brothers and Sisters, I've got good news 13:54 in the midst of all this bad news 13:56 and the good news is... 13:58 Jesus is coming again... what do you say? 13:59 Audience: "Amen. " 14:00 We've got to keep our eyes focused and clear 14:05 not on the trials that surround us 14:08 but on the Lord that calls us 14:12 this journey that we have traveled... 14:15 this journey of refinement and enlightenment 14:19 this journey where the devil has 14:22 tried the very fibers of our intellect, 14:24 this journey where we have had moments of terror 14:28 and hours of tears and difficulty, 14:32 we have had moments 14:33 where it seemed as though God has abandoned us, 14:36 but I want to tell you, 14:38 "The absence of God in His silence, 14:41 doesn't mean the absence of God in its actuality" 14:45 our Lord promises never to leave us... 14:47 never to forsake us 14:49 but there are signs around us that are thickening 14:52 and as we look at the signs of the coming of our Lord, 14:55 there are signs that the world has chosen to ignore 14:59 and one very clear sign 15:01 is the rejection of the evidence that Jesus is coming again, 15:05 we know that summer is on its way... 15:08 the evidences are abundant, 15:10 if you look at the world around us today 15:12 it is abundantly clear that Jesus is soon to return 15:17 as the now, resting in peace, H.M.S. Richards Junior would say 15:21 when his father was preaching on Voice of Prophecy, 15:24 he would always say, "Jesus is coming again... " 15:27 and his Father was laid to rest 15:29 and his son picked up the torch and said, 15:31 "Jesus is coming again... " 15:33 and when he was visited in the hospital 15:36 in the closing moments of his life, 15:38 someone said to him, "Elder Richard, 15:40 your father was laid to rest and Jesus hasn't come... " 15:43 he said, "You've said for years... 15:46 Jesus is on His way... and Jesus hasn't come" 15:49 and he said, "Elder Richards, what are your parting words?" 15:52 And he said, "Jesus is on His way... " 15:54 Brothers and Sisters, Jesus has not forgotten us, 15:59 Jesus is on His way, and so, this promise of His return 16:05 cannot be delayed by those who scoff 16:07 and choose not to believe 16:09 when you look at the signs around us... 16:12 they are thickening, earthquakes, violence, 16:15 floods, terrorism, 16:17 things that are threatening 16:19 the very thought of safety in our world, 16:22 is increasing exponentially around us 16:25 all signs... and continued evidence 16:27 that Jesus said, what would occur before His return 16:30 and friends... if Jesus said it, 16:32 we can believe it, what do you say? 16:33 Audience: "Amen. " 16:35 But it says in His Word, "In the last days, 16:37 people will see the signs and they would open their eyes 16:41 but rashly deny them as they did in the days of Noah. 16:45 Notice the words of a converted man by the name of Peter, 16:48 2nd Peter chapter 3 verse 3 and 4 16:51 and he says to this generation, 16:52 "Knowing this first: 16:54 that scoffers will come in the... " what days... Church? 16:57 "In the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 17:01 and they will be saying, 17:03 'Where is the promise of His coming? 17:06 For since the fathers fell asleep, 17:08 all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation'" 17:12 only a fool would say that things continue as they were 17:18 from the very beginning, 17:20 in my generation alone 17:22 it is not the same world that it used to be when I was growing up 17:25 our generation has gone mad 17:28 their minds are... as it were... 17:30 possessed by spirits that are uncontrolled, 17:32 the media has made its agenda 17:35 the destruction of human morality, 17:37 our world is now locked into a spinning cycle 17:41 that is leading man downward, moment by moment 17:45 humans have come to the place 17:47 where they now exalt things that dumb animals won't do 17:50 but Jesus said that would happen in the last days 17:53 before He returns, 17:55 and so I say, "Let us not ignore the signs 17:57 for each of them are signposts along the way 17:59 reminding us that soon and very soon 18:02 we are going to see the King. 18:04 Audience: "Amen. " 18:05 But Peter said, "They willingly forget... " 18:06 they don't forget because there's not enough evidence, 18:09 they choose to forget, 18:11 but the writer of Hebrews says to us... 18:14 that have been holding on... that have been praying 18:16 that have been laying our loved ones to rest... 18:19 the writer of Hebrews says, "For yet a little while, 18:22 and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. " 18:25 Can the Church say, "Amen?" 18:27 Audience: "Amen. " 18:28 I was raised by a lady who taught me this message 18:31 abandoned by my parents... but now hindsight tells me 18:35 I was not abandoned, 18:37 I was simply planted where God knew I needed to be 18:39 to become who I have become... 18:42 Audience: "Amen... praise the Lord" 18:44 And so God takes us from situations 18:45 that could spell our destruction 18:47 and puts us on the path where He can mold us and shape us 18:51 and file us down and I want to tell you 18:53 I have been molded, I have been shapened 18:55 and I'm still being filed down because all that matters is 18:59 that when Jesus comes 19:00 I will be ready to walk into that square city, 19:03 somebody ought to say, "Amen" today... 19:05 Audience: "Amen. " 19:06 Somebody once said to me, 19:07 "Pastor, you seem to be pretty square and out of touch... " 19:10 I said, "That's all right, I'm going to remain square 19:12 because Jerusalem is perfectly square, 19:14 I'll fit right in perfectly. " 19:17 Audience: Laughing... 19:18 But just like 9... 11... the world has confronted 19:21 and also comforted by the false reports 19:24 I can't forget 9... 11... 19:27 when our President stepped forward just a few weeks later 19:30 after this earth-changing tragic event 19:33 and he said to us in America, 19:35 "Go back to life as it usually was, 19:39 let us just go back to the world that was 19:42 before this incident occurred... " 19:44 he said that while... while those who were in Congress 19:47 were going to work with gas masks 19:49 and he's telling us, "Go back to the world as it was" 19:52 Jeremiah says, 19:54 "Our world has been comforted by the false reports 19:57 that we tend to give... " 19:59 because we are locked in... life, liberty 20:03 and the pursuit of happiness, 20:04 but I want to tell you today, I am locked into life... liberty 20:07 but the happiness that I want 20:09 is the happiness that comes only from Jesus, 20:10 what do you say? Audience: "Amen. " 20:12 Jeremiah 6:14, he says, 20:25 The Bible says, "But you brethren are not in darkness" 20:30 we are not in darkness, come on say "Amen" somebody, 20:33 we have got the evidences, 20:35 God has given us an unshakeable message, 20:37 God has not only given us fundamentals, 20:40 God has been so gracious to us 20:42 to allow us through the inspiration of the written Word 20:46 and the spoken Word, 20:47 through the humble servant of Ellen White, 20:49 God has given us a glimpse behind the curtain, 20:52 we can see with eyes that have been cleared up 20:55 by the salve of God's Word, we don't need to be reminded 20:59 of the things that surround us but still Satan has found a way 21:04 to inoculate us... some of us... 21:05 are in the pews sleeping... not aware... 21:08 living as though Jesus will not come in a 1,000 years, 21:12 Brothers, my message to you 21:13 as we close out this campaign in London, 21:15 now it is high time to awake for now is our salvation 21:20 nearer than when we first believed 21:22 the night is far spent, the day is at hand, 21:25 let us, therefore, cast off the works of darkness, 21:28 let us put on the armor of light, 21:30 let us walk honestly as in the day... 21:32 not in drunkenness and wantonness, 21:34 let us be sober, be vigilant... 21:36 because our adversary the devil 21:38 walketh about like a roaring lion 21:40 seeking whom he may devour, 21:42 this morning heaven added some more names 21:45 to the guest list, somebody ought to say, "Amen. " 21:47 Audience: "Amen. " 21:49 You're going to be at the dinner 21:50 if you are faithful till the end you will be there. 21:52 Audience: "Amen. " 21:53 Oh the dinner, I'm just getting a peak at the menu... 21:56 if Jesus is the bread of life, I can tell you, 22:00 if there's nothing but bread on my plate, 22:03 that's all I need... Audience: "Amen. " 22:06 I don't need a mansion, just give me a sleeping bag 22:08 as long as I'm in there, 22:10 I don't need a house with many floors, 22:12 I just want to see the face of Jesus, 22:14 somebody ought to say, "Amen" today... 22:15 I just want to shake His hand and tell Him, 22:18 "Thank you for delivering me 22:20 from the world that I would have been on" 22:22 as a songwriter said, "I can tell you my story... 22:25 without Jesus I would have failed 22:27 but I cannot fail with Jesus... " 22:28 he found me in the burrows of New York City... 22:31 on the streets of destruction, in the clubs... 22:34 where pleasure seemed to have inoculated me 22:37 beyond the reach of God... 22:38 but there is nobody that Jesus cannot reach. 22:41 Audience: "Amen. " 22:42 And the evidence of the coming of the Lord... 22:44 is that I'm preaching... 22:47 nobody could have told me 22:49 that God can turn a sinner into a preacher 22:52 but God can turn a corrupt mind 22:55 into a mind where the glory of God is being revealed. 22:58 Audience: "Amen. " 22:59 The evidence that Jesus is coming soon 23:01 that some of you have been saved come on say, "Amen. " 23:03 Audience: "Amen. " 23:04 Somebody used to be a drunkard, they are now a child of God, 23:08 God can save drug addicts, 23:10 God can turn a thief into a treasurer, 23:13 oh, I tell you brothers and sisters, 23:15 the message of salvation 23:17 is all about sufficiency in the blood of Jesus 23:19 but the world doesn't know it, 23:21 you see, there are still many prisoners of war 23:24 that have not heard this message 23:26 and so, we have not come to London 23:28 just to talk to you for 14 nights, 23:30 we have come to London to say to you, 23:31 "It is time to turn London inside out... " 23:33 Audience: "Amen. " 23:34 I was walking down some of the streets 23:36 and I saw people passing out false literature 23:38 and I said, "Where are the people of God?" 23:41 In this hour of urgency where are the people of God? 23:46 We've come to equip you, 23:48 when we leave, you cannot allow the light to be dimmed... 23:51 you cannot allow your hope to be turned down, 23:53 you cannot go back to life as normal, 23:55 we are living in a constant 9... 11... environment, 23:58 God is saying to His church, "Let me in... " 24:01 somebody once said that if Jesus never came inside the church... 24:05 if the Holy Spirit was withdraw today... 24:08 one person said, "the activity that takes place in our church 24:11 will continue as usual... " 24:13 that's why the final message to this church is, 24:15 "Behold I stand at the door and knock... " 24:18 Jesus is saying, "Let me back in my church" 24:20 and I want to tell you, Jesus cannot be in a church 24:23 and we be complacent about the coming of our Lord, 24:26 He cannot be in your heart and you don't want to tell somebody 24:28 about the coming of our Savior, 24:30 you cannot say that you love the Lord... and remain indolent 24:33 while people are going to Christ-less graves, 24:36 there's a storm approaching 24:38 of a magnitude the world has never seen before, 24:40 one day... all restraint of evil angels 24:45 will be released and hell in all of its fury 24:48 will take hold of this planet, 24:50 brethren, we cannot even imagine that, 24:52 if all the prisons on this earth... 24:54 if every evil criminal was... 24:56 all of a sudden... released to the streets of London 24:59 and they were told, "Do whatever you want... " 25:01 they will still fall far short 25:04 of what evil angels are planning for every one of us, 25:07 Satan is planning for this day, 25:09 it's called the Battle of Armageddon, 25:11 and we are told in evangelism, angels are now restraining... 25:15 holy angels are now restraining the winds of strife, 25:18 until the world shall be warned of its coming doom 25:22 but a storm is gathering, let me say it again, 25:24 Brothers and Sisters, a storm is gathering, 25:27 ready to burst upon the earth 25:29 and when God shall bid His angels loose the winds, 25:32 there will be such a scene of strife as no pen can picture. 25:37 My wife and I were sitting on the train the other day 25:40 on our way to... to... 25:42 Station Saint Pan Christa 25:44 to catch the train to spend the day in Paris 25:47 with some of our friends, 25:48 and we opened up our... our devotionals 25:52 and began to read 25:54 and God had given us a quiet car just so He can talk to us 25:59 and I said to my wife, as the train was going by, 26:03 speeding as it were... 26:05 passing people that have never heard about Jesus, 26:09 people that have closed their ears to His calls for safety 26:13 and redemption and repentance 26:14 and I said, "Honey, can you imagine... 26:18 what would happen... 26:22 if God removes the restraint from these evil angels... 26:28 a cacophony of demonism will be unleashed on this world 26:33 as no human pen can ever write... " 26:35 evil... of a magnitude that we have never, ever experienced, 26:40 you put Hitler and everybody else together 26:43 that have carried out atrocities beyond human description 26:46 and you pour them into our major cities, 26:48 when all the lights that have dazzled the eyes of humanity, 26:52 when all the entertainment... 26:53 God pulls the plug on the power of earth, 26:56 when this city is plunged into irreversible darkness, 26:59 only then... the only hope you have at that moment, 27:02 is to have Christ, the light of life in your life. 27:05 Audience: "Amen. " 27:07 The only hope for humanity at that moment, 27:08 is to be sealed as it were, the Psalmist, David, said... 27:12 oh my brethren... there's a time coming... 27:15 he says, "He that dwelleth 27:18 in the secret place of the most High 27:22 shall abide... " in that moment 27:24 "under the shadow of the Almighty. 27:26 And I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: 27:29 my God; in Him will I trust. 27:31 Surely... " oh, I want to say that word again, 27:35 "Surely He shall deliver me from the pestilence 27:37 and from the noisome and grievous sore... " 27:39 and he said, "A thousand will fall at thy side, 27:42 and ten thousand at thy right hand... " 27:44 but because of God's grace, "it shall not come nigh thee" 27:47 Audience: "Amen. " 27:48 "Only with thine eyes shall you behold and see 27:51 the reward of the wicked. 27:52 But because you have made the Lord, 27:54 even the Most High... your habitation, 27:56 He will give His angels charge over you... " 27:59 Audience: "Amen. " 28:01 God's got a way to hide His saints in the time of trouble, 28:03 they talk about technology, 28:05 they say they can find you wherever they can look for you, 28:08 oh, they don't know about my God. 28:10 Audience: "Amen. " 28:11 He can hide us in a secret place that not even NSA knows about. 28:15 He can hide us where the FBI has no clue... exists... 28:18 "under His wings shall we trust... " 28:21 Audience: "Amen. " 28:22 My Brothers and Sisters, 28:23 it doesn't make sense to have all this provision for salvation 28:27 and to walk away from it, complacent... 28:30 complacent... as though we got all the time in the world, 28:36 oh, let me continue to talk to you today, 28:38 look at the world around us, earthquakes and violence 28:41 and floods and places that floods have never been before, 28:45 in Europe... people are now becoming victims 28:48 of unrestrained rivers, 28:50 fires... all these are harbingers 28:53 just a forecast... God is showing man... 28:57 in these little judgments, 28:59 He says... He's giving man an opportunity 29:01 to break free, because He says, 29:03 there is not yet those who have not stood for Satan 29:06 but they have not heard the message yet, 29:08 the calamities by land and sea, the unsettled state of society 29:13 the alarms of war are portentous... 29:16 they are everywhere, 29:18 the forecasts... they forecast approaching events 29:21 of the greatest magnitude, 29:23 the evil angels... 29:24 the agencies of evil are combining their forces 29:27 and they are consolidating. 29:29 When I read the text in Revelation where the Bible says, 29:32 "and the dragon and His angels fought... " 29:34 I looked behind the curtain to find out what that meant, 29:37 now, what that meant was, 29:38 in hell... even the angels don't like each other, 29:42 Audience: Laughing... 29:43 If you think you're selfish, 29:47 evil angels are more selfish than you, 29:49 they all contend amongst each other, 29:51 but for the final battle of Armageddon, 29:54 they are all going to put aside their differences and turn on us 29:57 like they did in Nehemiah... 30:01 Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arab... they all got together 30:03 because of one man concerned about the goodness of God, 30:06 all the evil angels for a brief moment 30:08 will put aside their their grievances 30:10 just to turn their angers against us, 30:12 Inspiration tells us, 30:14 "they are strengthening for the last great crisis, 30:19 great changes are soon to take place in our world 30:24 and the final movements will be... rapid ones... " 30:29 the stage is set, 30:33 our world is just like it was in Noah's day, 30:36 violence is sold and applauded, 30:39 just the other day on the news, 30:41 my wife and I were looking at a broadcast 30:44 just the other day on the news 30:46 as we were getting ready, 30:48 I spent most of my day in the hotel room, 30:50 I saw London through the window, 30:53 but I wasn't here to look at London, 30:56 I was here on a mission from God. 30:58 Audience: "Amen. " 31:00 And I looked at the news when I heard about a crime 31:02 that I had never heard before, 31:03 and I said, "Honey, what is that?" 31:06 she said, "I don't even know what that is" 31:07 and I listened... as Satan is still inventing new crimes 31:11 of such low degree 31:13 that I'm thinking, "What is the depth of human depravity?" 31:16 We don't even know the depth of human depravity 31:18 but when the angels release the winds, 31:20 our world will be just like it was... in the days of Noah, 31:24 the Bible says in Genesis 6 and verse 11, 31:32 Is that sign being fulfilled in our day? 31:35 Audience: "Yes. " 31:36 The earth is filled with violence... 31:37 it's sold in the movies, 31:39 it has become the entertainment of our hearts' desire, 31:43 that's why we have to be careful about the society around us 31:47 the world forecasts an imploding society, 31:50 but Satan's plan is to bring the church down with the world, 31:54 that's why you have to be careful with all these devices, 31:57 all this... iThis and iThat... 31:59 and Samsung here and iPhone there 32:02 and Android there... all these devices... 32:04 they have a function... 32:06 but what many of us don't understand 32:08 is they have an additional function... 32:10 Satan's plan is to capture our minds 32:13 so that we are so filled with foolishness 32:15 that we cannot hear the voice of God anymore. 32:18 A young man was standing in one of my churches a few years ago, 32:21 and I saw him standing on the wall in the foyer 32:23 and listening in his earplugs and I thought, 32:25 "Surely... he must be listening to something 32:27 to get ready for the main service" 32:29 and I walked past him 32:30 and the music was so loud it almost blew my head off, 32:34 and I just pulled those earplugs out of his ears... 32:37 and said, "This is God's house... 32:38 that foolishness does not belong in here, 32:40 put that stuff away. " 32:41 Stand fast in the authority that God has given to you, 32:45 we've got to be people that are unwilling to stand by 32:49 and watch our young people destroy themselves. 32:51 I heard this story about a lady who was so excited 32:55 that a young lady that had a baby out of wedlock... 32:59 she stood up... when the church had voted... 33:01 she stood up to give her support 33:04 to this young lady being read out of the church, 33:06 and when she stood up the pastor said, 33:08 "You ought to sit down... 33:10 you watched this young lady 33:11 from the time she was a little girl, 33:12 and you saw her going astray, you knew her family 33:15 and you did nothing to stem this tide, 33:17 we don't need a vote to put her out, 33:19 we need a vote to keep her in. " 33:21 Audience loudly: "Amen... amen. " 33:23 When a person is fallen in sin, 33:25 you don't kick them out, we don't shoot our wounded, 33:27 they need us then more than ever before. 33:29 Audience: "Amen. " 33:31 If God loves us so much, He can forgive us, 33:32 we ought to extend the same forgiveness 33:34 to those who are bound in trespasses and sin. 33:37 The Bible says... the world that once was 33:41 is being duplicated again, Genesis 6 and verse 5 33:43 listen to the words of a faithful man of God, 33:46 "Then the LORD saw 33:48 that the wickedness of man was great in the earth... " 33:50 and once again, it is great... 33:51 "and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart 33:55 was only... " what? 33:56 "evil continually... " 33:58 I can't even fathom that, I know some evil people 34:01 but I praise God they ain't evil continually, 34:05 amen somebody, 34:07 Audience: "Amen. " 34:09 The Bible says, we are quickly approaching a generation 34:14 where the agenda of hell is to make sure that 34:18 everybody that has not accepted the saving grace of Jesus 34:23 their thoughts are only evil continually. 34:26 Pause... 34:28 We are living in an evil age, 34:30 the perils of the last days sticking around us 34:34 and the reason is clear because... 34:36 love has grown cold... iniquity abounds... 34:40 but listen to Paul as he spoke to his young protégé 34:45 by the name of Timothy, he said, 34:46 "I am passing off the scene 34:48 but when you begin to see 34:50 this kind of environment unfold before you, 34:53 you know... my Brother 34:54 that you got to preach more than ever before... " 34:56 here's what he said... 34:58 2nd Timothy chapter 3 verses 1 to 5, 34:59 listen to the faithful words, 35:01 upon whom we have been given a message for us today 35:05 he says, "This know also, that in the last days... " 35:08 say it church... "perilous times shall come. " 35:12 Let me change that... "perilous times have come... " 35:15 "For men shall be lovers of their own selves... " 35:18 if you don't believe that, go down to Paris, 35:21 go down to Piccadilly Circus, 35:24 "covetous, boasters... " "Look at me... " 35:32 Sometimes, even the word "selfie" makes me shiver... 35:36 Pause... 35:39 The devil has got us in a web, 35:42 we got to pray to be delivered from... "selfie... " 35:45 "men shall be lovers of their own selves, 35:48 covetous, boasters, proud... " 35:52 let me pause on that for a moment... 35:54 don't ever think that because you got a degree... 35:56 you're smarter than God. 35:57 Audience loudly: "Amen... " 35:59 Some folk get a degree... 36:00 they get all these letters behind 36:02 and in front of their name 36:04 and they forget that God is God and they are not... 36:05 They get a nice house and a beautiful car 36:10 and they think that they've captured the world, 36:13 they have arrived, 36:14 only to realize that they will arrive all right, 36:17 but at the wrong place without Jesus. 36:19 Audience: "Amen. " 36:20 I told this story before, I don't think I've told you this 36:22 but we had a young man growing up in New York together, 36:24 when his mother passed away 36:25 he sold the house that she'd purchased 36:28 for many, many more dollars... thousands of dollars more 36:31 ten times this house had appreciated... 36:33 he got his 300,000 plus dollars, moved out of New York 36:36 and moved down to... moved down to Miami, Florida 36:38 and when he got down to Miami 36:41 and bought his beautiful house not too far from the bay 36:43 he said, "The church is only for people that can't do better" 36:47 so he left the church but God said, 36:51 "No... no... you need to be back in the church... " 36:54 so God sent a storm by the name of Hurricane Hugo... 36:56 Audience: laughing... 36:58 I am so glad that God loves us so much... 37:00 He sent storms in our lives, 37:02 come on somebody... Audience: "Amen. " 37:03 He's got to send storms to blow away your foolishness, 37:06 so He can let you know that what you brought in this world 37:10 is exactly what you're taking out... nothing... 37:11 Audience: "Amen. " 37:13 That hurricane nearly tore his house apart, 37:15 he's back in church still today... 37:17 Audience: Laughing... 37:18 I see him on Facebook now and then 37:20 talking about the goodness of God, 37:21 God loves us so much He would do whatever needs to do 37:24 to break down our nonsense, 37:25 oh, I praise God this morning that He loves us 37:28 with an everlasting love, 37:30 I cannot get my Savior so angry with me 37:32 that He doesn't want to talk to me, 37:34 that's why I'm always concerned when people say, 37:37 "Me and God ain't on talking terms... " 37:39 I said, "Well, whom are you talking to... the devil?" 37:41 Audience: Laughing... 37:42 can you imagine the Christian 37:43 who's not on talking terms with God? 37:45 I want to tell you, if you're in that condition, 37:47 the devil will accept your call any day 37:49 but he can't answer your call 37:51 but the Lord says, "Before you call, I will answer" 37:54 that's the kind of God that I want to have 37:57 the prophet continues, he said, 37:59 "They'll be disobedient to parents... " 38:01 come on parents... I need an "amen" somewhere, 38:03 Audience: "Amen... " 38:04 "unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection... " 38:09 Lord, have mercy, 38:11 "trucebreakers... " can't even keep a promise 38:15 "false accusers... " lying... 38:17 When they know it's not the truth 38:19 "incontinent... " can't control their minds... 38:22 they are so wavering... they are inconsistent, 38:26 "fierce, despisers of those that are good... " 38:30 that always catches me, 38:31 how could someone despise somebody that's good? 38:34 "Traitors, heady, high-minded, 38:38 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 38:41 Having a form of godliness... " but what else? 38:45 denying the power thereof... " 38:47 and we got four words, "from such... " do what? 38:50 Audience: "turn away... " 38:51 Don't even hang out with them. 38:52 They deny the evidences of the coming of Christ 38:56 but the other evidence is, increasing immorality, 39:02 increasing immorality, Luke 17 verse 28 and 29, 39:07 the Bible continues speaking to us, 39:10 of the environment that is going to precede 39:13 the glorious return of Jesus, 39:14 Luke says, "Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: 39:20 They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, 39:25 they planted, they built; but... " 39:28 God always got to insert a "but" in there 39:31 while you are having fun but... 39:33 God brings it back center into reality... 39:36 "but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom, 39:40 it rained fire and brimstone from heaven... " 39:43 and what does the Bible say? 39:45 "and destroyed them all... " 39:46 I don't want to be a bearer of bad news 39:49 but another destruction is coming... 39:52 Audience: "Amen... " 39:53 And you can deny it all you want, 39:56 you could act like you found a better way 40:01 you can even fool yourself into thinking 40:05 that your financial resources 40:06 will get you through the time of trouble, 40:09 you can put up all the foods you want, 40:12 and you can have the best retirement plan 40:14 but unless it gets you out of this world 40:16 you need to cancel it. 40:18 Jesus is the only way out 40:21 the human heart has become so immoral 40:24 that we live in a world that exalts sexual depravity 40:28 that's right, that's what I'm going to tell you about, 40:31 it's darker than its ever been before, 40:34 I know London doesn't like to hear this, 40:36 but I ain't ever... 40:39 sorry, let me clean it up with your pretty accent, 40:42 I will never... and I reiterate... never... 40:47 accept the immorality... that has been legislated 40:52 as though it's normal in the sight of God. 40:55 Audience loudly: "Amen. " 40:57 My Bible tells me what's highly esteemed among men 40:59 is a reproach to God. 41:00 Don't ever let people... and let me make it very clear... 41:04 because sometimes I'd say these things and people would say, 41:06 "He must be out of touch, he must not have... " 41:08 I've got family... that's in the same category of which I speak, 41:14 I love them with an everlasting, unchanging love... 41:20 Audience: "Amen. " 41:21 But I ain't ever going to approve what they do. 41:23 Audience: "Amen. " 41:24 If they call me, I'll be there 41:27 and I'll talk to them about Jesus, 41:30 I'll pray with them just before we eat 41:32 and I'll mention, "In Jesus' name... " 41:35 just to remind them that He's still around... 41:37 Audience loudly: "Amen. " 41:38 As it was in the days of Lot... 41:41 as it was in the days of Noah... 41:43 one of the signs that we're living in the time of the end 41:46 is... Society applauds things that even... 41:49 and I said "dumb animals" I'm going to change that... 41:51 some animals are smarter than we are. 41:53 I've never seen a lion smoking a cigarette, 41:58 I've never seen a horse drinking a bottle of alcohol, 42:01 we wouldn't do to our animals what we do to ourselves, 42:05 if you had a horse race 42:07 and you had a horse that you knew could win, 42:09 would you keep him up to 2:30 in the morning 42:11 and feed him junk food 42:12 and expect him to win the next day? 42:15 No... the Lord says to us, we've got to value ourselves 42:18 above the value that Society has placed on us 42:20 and even though it may be approved and legitimized 42:23 and legalized, 42:25 because it's legal it doesn't make it moral. 42:27 Audience: "Amen. " 42:29 Even so, it will be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed 42:33 in Noah's day... immorality was applauded 42:36 with great intensity, 42:37 in Noah's day, the voice of God was ignored with impunity, 42:41 in Noah's day, pleasure consumed the minds of that society, 42:45 in Noah's day, salvation was ignored 42:47 and sin was preferred, 42:49 in Noah's day, men's minds became continuously evil, 42:54 our world has joined the society of Noah, 42:58 the Noah Chronicles can now be repeated in our world 43:02 you pick the city, it's happening there, 43:04 it may be a small hubble outside of London 43:06 or outside of New York 43:07 or even in the small outlying areas of the Midwest 43:11 but evil is everywhere 43:12 the Apostle Paul tells us what kind of world 43:16 is being formed before us, 43:18 Romans 1 verse 26 and 27, the Bible says, 43:21 man became so vile... the Bible says, 43:24 "For this reason God gave them up to... " 43:26 what kind of affections? 43:27 "Vile affections. For even their women 43:30 exchanging the natural use for what is against nature. 43:34 Likewise also men, leaving the natural use of the woman, 43:38 burned in their lust for one another, 43:42 men with men committing what is shameful, 43:46 and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error 43:50 which was due. " 43:51 You cannot sin with impunity and not expect some kind of 43:54 ramifications... the wages of sin will always be death, 43:58 but I tell you today 43:59 I'd rather be preaching against a perverted agenda 44:03 and persecuted by man than prosecuted by God. 44:06 If speaking out against prevailing iniquity 44:09 brings persecution... 44:11 I'd rather be persecuted by man than prosecuted by God. 44:14 If preaching against orchestrated darkness 44:17 will bring persecution, 44:19 I'd rather be persecuted by man than prosecuted by God, 44:22 what do you say? 44:24 Audience: "Amen. " 44:25 Sign number three, 44:26 the destruction of our society 44:28 John 3 and verse 19... the Bible says, 44:31 "And this is the condemnation... 44:33 And this is the condemnation, that light has come... " 44:36 where? "into the world, 44:38 and men loved darkness rather than... " what? 44:40 Audience: "light... " 44:41 "The reason is because their deeds were evil. " 44:44 It's amazing to me, you can go out in the streets 44:46 and give out tracts and say, "Here's something... 44:48 come to the Evangelistic series" 44:50 And somebody will look at that and say, 44:52 "Naw... naw... I got something else to do" 44:53 I want to tell you... they said the same thing in Noah's day 44:56 but when the doors of the ark closed... all of a sudden... 44:59 that something they had to do was no longer important. 45:02 We got to see people on the streets out... 45:05 the other night a man was walking by the church 45:06 and an invitation was extended 45:08 and somebody... he asked somebody, 45:10 "Well, what are they doing on the inside?" 45:12 "Well, we're singing about Jesus preaching about Jesus... " 45:14 he said, "Well I'll come one in... " 45:15 and he came in and he sat down... 45:17 A simple invitation... Audience: "Amen. " 45:19 Pause... 45:22 you should have a signpost on the front of your church, 45:24 when people pass by, just pick... 45:26 "here's a... here's a flyer... " 45:27 God can have a blessed Bible Study we never give, 45:30 this world has rejected the light of God's Word, 45:33 this world has turned off the light for so long 45:37 that our eyes are beginning to adjust to the darkness 45:39 and the sad reality of the darkness of our world 45:42 is not that it's dark 45:43 but when we become accustomed to it, 45:46 and see nothing wrong with it and become a part of it 45:49 we lose our connection with God, 45:52 when sin no longer convicts us, 45:55 when we've lost the feeling for something done wrong, 46:00 when we... when we... when we develop callous... 46:02 against something that is evil, 46:05 and it no longer brings pain to our hearts and our minds... 46:08 that had been so... so shut away from God 46:11 that we can contemplate darkness 46:13 and our minds actually bring us to the place 46:15 where we smile in anticipation, 46:16 but the Bible tells us about the world that we live in 46:20 Isaiah 60 verse 2, we read these words, 46:24 "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, 46:28 and gross darkness the people... " 46:31 let me tell you, that's exactly what's happening today 46:33 "but the LORD shall arise upon thee, 46:37 and his glory shall be seen upon thee. " 46:39 There is a reason why the Lord says, 46:41 "Let your light so shine... " 46:43 God is looking for a witness today, 46:45 what is He looking for Church? 46:46 Audience: "Witness. " 46:48 He's not looking for necessarily a preacher, 46:50 He wants somebody in this dark world 46:53 to be a silent witness 46:56 to the ability that He can change any life, 47:00 deliver anybody, turn any bad situation around 47:03 and make it a good situation to His glory, 47:06 but this dark world has caused us some time 47:09 to become so indolent 47:11 we become like the children of Israel 47:14 on their way to the Promise Land 47:15 on their way they forgot the purpose of their journey 47:18 and look at what 1st Corinthians chapter 10 and verse 7 said, 47:21 this is what happened to the people of God 47:22 "And do not become idolaters as some of them were. 47:27 As it is written, 'The people sat down... '" 47:30 to do what? 47:31 "eat and drink, and rose up to play. " 47:34 Oh, Brothers and Sisters, 47:36 we can't allow our world to cause us to just eat and drink 47:40 and have social gatherings and rise up and play 47:44 and forget that this is an urgent hour, 47:46 God has not saved us... just to add our names to the roll, 47:51 He calls us to be an army, what does He call us to be? 47:54 An army... that's convinced 47:56 that in the Battle of Armageddon we'll stand on the side of right 48:00 but you've got to stand for the side of right 48:03 before the battle begins. 48:04 Reading an article, they said, 48:08 "By the year 2020, 48:10 there'll be 9.2 billion Smartphones subscriptions" 48:14 and I began to look at the exponential growth of our earth 48:17 and I said, "By 2020... there won't be 9.2 billion people, 48:19 how is that possible?" 48:20 They said, "People are so enamored by their Smartphones 48:24 that they buy two and three at the same time 48:26 and by that time, they said, 48:29 "there'll be 50 billion more new devices... 48:30 all dependent on the internet... " 48:34 some folk come to church and can't even unplug. 48:36 God's trying to speak to them and they're facing Facebook, 48:40 well, let me tell you, 48:41 "This is the book you have to face" amen somebody... 48:43 Audience loudly: "Amen. " 48:45 Stop texting and start reading text. 48:46 Audience: "Amen. " 48:49 Audience agreeing... 48:51 Paul screams at us with urgency, Romans 12 and verse 2, 48:57 "Do not be conformed to this world, 48:58 but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, 49:02 that you may prove what is that good... " 49:05 let's say together, "and acceptable... " 49:08 and what else? "perfect will of God. " 49:11 I want to do something out of the ordinary, 49:16 quite out of the ordinary, 49:19 at this point in the sermon, I want you to know 49:23 that God will never leave you, 49:26 God will never leave you... 49:28 I want this message in song to be so clear 49:32 that on the other side of this message, 49:35 I'm going to make my appeal, 49:36 I'm going to invite Melody Shelton Firestone 49:39 to come up and sing this song because some of us 49:41 have been here at these meetings night after night, 49:43 God's voice has called them over and over and over again 49:48 and we don't understand that the voice of God 49:51 is one that cannot be turned down... 49:53 turned off or ignored, 49:55 but as she sings this song that God will never leave you 49:58 I want that message to resonate in your mind 50:01 as I prepare to make a call to open the doors 50:04 and invite somebody else to come into the ark of safety 50:07 before it is ever too late. 50:09 Music... 50:17 Some more music... 50:24 more music... 50:27 Wandering in the wilderness 50:31 stumbling in the dark 50:34 life put me on a road of praying 50:38 I never have to walk, 50:41 Helpless and uncertain staring at a wall, 50:48 I wondered where the Lord was in it all 50:56 But God said, "I'll love you forever... 51:04 I will never leave you alone... " 51:09 And days went... 51:14 You feel your heart can't take it, 51:19 "I will be the one to make you strong... 51:26 and I'll be there to help you carry on... 51:34 I will never leave you alone. " 51:41 Music... 51:48 More music... 51:53 Picking up the pieces of dreams that had to die 52:00 Trying hard to understand and not to question "why" 52:07 It took a while to realize what now I clearly see 52:14 That holding on to Him and letting go of "me" 52:21 And God said, "I love you forever... 52:28 I will never leave you alone... " 52:35 And days when you feel your heart can't take it, 52:44 "I will be the one to make you strong 52:52 and I'll be there to help you carry on... 52:59 I will never leave you alone... " 53:07 Music... 53:15 More music... 53:19 Some more music... 53:20 God said, 53:23 "I love you forever... 53:27 I will never leave you alone" 53:33 And days when you feel your heart can't take it 53:42 I will be the one to make you strong... 53:49 and I'll be there to help you carry on... 53:57 I will never leave you 54:01 alone... 54:08 I will never leave you 54:15 alone... " 54:41 Music... 54:46 As I stand here this morning 54:48 one day heaven is going to dispatch 54:54 an innumerable host of angels with only one mission 55:02 the Father is going to say, 55:05 "It's time... go get my children" 55:07 Audience: "Amen. " 55:08 and on that frightful day, 55:11 Jesus will lay off His robe of ministry 55:14 and put on His robe of vengeance, 55:17 the angels will bow as 55:21 the King of the Universe approaches His steed of war 55:25 and there will be a silence in heaven... 55:31 of numbing decibels 55:37 He will mount that steed of salvation 55:42 and He will give the call, 55:46 "It's time to go get our children" 55:49 there will be such a stirring in that Kingdom 55:54 the angel will say, "Father, is it time?" 55:57 He'll say, "It's time to go get my children 56:01 I've borne with sin long enough, 56:03 I've seen too much death and sorrow and suffering, 56:07 it's time to go get my children" 56:09 and the Father will bid His Son, "Go... " 56:13 and over London and over New York and over Paris 56:16 and over California, 56:18 in the midst of a shopping mall... 56:21 and in the midst of horse racing and gambling... 56:23 somebody's going to pause and say, 56:25 "I see something that I cannot recognize... 56:27 it looks... it's dark and it's far away... 56:30 but the best that I can tell, 56:32 it looks like... about the size of a man's hand" 56:34 Pause... 56:36 and somebody in Paris will notice it, 56:38 and somebody in Guam will see it 56:40 and someone in the Caribbean will see it 56:41 and in Asia in their language 56:43 they'll begin to describe this... 56:45 this small object, as it were, 56:46 coming closer and closer to the earth 56:48 and all of a sudden 56:51 somebody would hear the sound of a trumpet 56:54 as though it's echoed in the distance 56:56 and louder and yet louder 56:58 as this dark sign becomes brighter 57:02 and brighter and brighter 57:04 and the earth is wrapped in impenetrable darkness, 57:08 and the voice of the Life-Giver goes forth, 57:12 "Come ye blessed of my Father, 57:15 inherit the kingdom prepared for you 57:17 from the foundation of the world..." 57:19 the last great miracle will be transformed before our eyes 57:23 the dead in Christ will begin to rise 57:26 from their dusty beds, 57:29 no sign of sin and suffering no more pain, no more heartache, 57:33 they have come forth to see the third angel's message 57:37 triumph with glory... 57:38 They've believed the promises of God, 57:41 they've held on to the Word of God, 57:43 they've fought a good fight, 57:45 they've finished their course, they've kept the faith 57:47 and ringing in their ears is, 57:49 "There's a crown of righteousness laid up for me 57:52 but not for me only... 57:53 but for all those that love His appearing. " 57:56 Audience: "Amen. " 57:57 I want to say this morning, 57:58 there's a crown waiting for somebody here today, 58:00 God wants to put a new name on a new crown, 58:03 there are some new crowns, 58:05 come one, somebody say, "Amen.
