and look at the bill itself,

went to GYC, it was in 2007,

And I remember I was
raised in Adventist home,

gone through
Adventist education,

and all these things.

But these people
were so excited about

what they believed

and it seemed a
little bit weird to me,

but I remember
going home and thinking,

"Man, they had something that

they were actually living
for and they had a purpose."

And at that time I
realized all my friends

were leaving the church

and most of
them except for three

are either dead, in
prison, or still on drugs.

And I wondered what is it

that's gonna give me
a burden for the church,

and I realized
that it's understanding

So I remember

going to GYC
still not fully on board

But I was excited
about what I was hearing.

the very first time

I heard preachers

who were really calling
us to a higher standard.

that in our churches,

But here it was a
high pressure time,

I was out of place for

And so at those appeals,
I remember going forward

and surrendering my

that I was going
to serve the Lord.
