We're gonna go to the
last book of the Bible,

this powerful prophetic book
00:00:33.20\00:00:35.64
written for God's
people in the last days,
00:00:35.67\00:00:38.15
and in the 12 chapter
we find a very powerful
00:00:38.18\00:00:41.55
and potent passage,
describing in awesome language,
00:00:41.58\00:00:47.14
the final climatic conflict
00:00:47.17\00:00:49.69
between a
dreadful demonic dragon
00:00:49.72\00:00:52.95
and a beautiful beloved bride.
00:00:52.98\00:00:55.20
Notice what it says
in Revelation Chapter 12
00:00:55.23\00:00:57.22
beginning with verse
17, and if you're there
00:00:57.25\00:00:59.72
and if you're ready to
study the Bible tonight,

The Bible says
in Revelation 12:17,

"And the dragon was
wroth with the woman,

and went to make war
with the remnant of her seed,

which keep the
commandments of God,

and have the
testimony of Jesus Christ."

So here we're
reading prophetic language,

a dragon that is
filled with wrath
00:01:21.07\00:01:23.82
against a woman that has
specific characteristics.
00:01:23.85\00:01:28.85
And the reason why this dragon

which is none other than
Satan is angry at this woman
00:01:30.87\00:01:33.37
which is simply the
beloved people of God
00:01:33.40\00:01:35.55
is because this is a
bride or a woman or a church
00:01:35.58\00:01:40.27
that will bring his
demise in the last days.
00:01:40.30\00:01:43.66
It's a moment that
will push the gospel forward
00:01:43.69\00:01:47.73
that will carry the gospel
00:01:47.76\00:01:48.91
throughout the whole world order
00:01:48.94\00:01:50.33
that will bring in
the return of Jesus,

our heavenly husband
00:01:52.34\00:01:54.36
and the final
destruction of Satan.

And I want you
to notice, friends,

according to this prophecy that

Satan is not
angry at every church,
00:02:00.53\00:02:04.47
he is not mad at every movement.
00:02:04.50\00:02:07.70
He is only angry at
the church or the movement

that is a threat to his kingdom,

and this woman is that movement.
00:02:14.38\00:02:16.55
We know that in prophecy
woman represents a church.

Here is the church
that Satan is threatened by

and he is angry at her
for at least three reasons.
00:02:23.07\00:02:25.95
Number one,
00:02:25.98\00:02:27.01
is because she
is the beloved bride
00:02:27.04\00:02:29.23
of his chief
enemy, Jesus Christ.
00:02:29.26\00:02:32.17
Number two,
00:02:32.20\00:02:33.56
this woman
keeps the commandments
00:02:33.59\00:02:35.20
of his chief enemy,
she loves to follow Jesus.
00:02:35.23\00:02:39.31
And number three,
00:02:39.34\00:02:40.79
she has the
testimony of Jesus Christ
00:02:40.82\00:02:43.69
which is Satan's chief enemy.

In other words this woman
00:02:46.10\00:02:47.34
having the testimony of Jesus,
00:02:47.37\00:02:48.89
she is always
talking about Jesus,
00:02:48.92\00:02:50.87
she loves
bragging about her husband.
00:02:50.90\00:02:54.65
And Satan hates that,
and is through this woman
00:02:54.68\00:02:57.96
that Jesus is going to testify
00:02:57.99\00:03:01.02
against the false
accusations of Satan
00:03:01.05\00:03:03.63
in this great controversy
between good and evil,
00:03:03.66\00:03:06.48
proving his accusations false,
00:03:06.51\00:03:08.38
and so Satan wants to silence
the testimony of Jesus Christ,
00:03:08.41\00:03:12.81
and in order to do so
he must silence this woman.

But the
question is, what exactly

is the
testimony of Jesus Christ?

Where is it reviewed

and how is this
testimony review to us?

Well, many of us are familiar,

we understand that
according to Revelation 19:10

that the testimony
of Jesus is the way.

The Spirit of
Prophecy, you see friends.

This is a church that
has the testimony of Jesus,

which is the Spirit of Prophecy.

In other words it's a movement
00:03:45.25\00:03:46.98
that is moved by the inspiration

of the Spirit of Prophecy

because it's the
Spirit of Prophecy

which is the
testimony of Jesus that this,

that reviews to this
woman, this church her mission

and her message
as well as her method

of sharing the gospel
with the word in the last days.

And so it's the
prophetic testimony given

from Jesus through
the Spirit of Prophecy,

that this woman is moved by,

moved by the power of
the Spirit of Prophecy.

Now, friends, I want
you to not miss that point,

and the Spirit of Prophecy

So the Comforter is to teach us

the council of God,

You see God is a

what we can handle and
He doesn't overwhelm us

He reviews truth to us gradually

the path of the just
is like a shining light

that shines more and
more on to the perfect day

and so as we continue to be led

spirit, the power of God,

notice that this word guide

denotes that there is a journey,

pathway or there is a road

that we're walking upon,

that we are being led in a way

there is movement

and so this woman is
moved by the power of God,

which is the Spirit of Prophecy,

denoting messengers,

the 12
messengers, the 12 Apostles,

here is the church
of the first century,

the Early Apostolic Church,

the church that Jesus
founded upon that solid rock,

it's the original
bride, the original church,

and friends, the
Bible tells us that

Satan the dragon is
angry at that church,

but he takes it
out his anger out

on the children of the woman.

Notice in the
prophecy in Revelation,

Satan the dragon is
not attacking the woman,

her time has passed,
but she has her remnant,

and so Satan takes
out all his frustration

and his anger upon
the remnant of the women,

and who is the remnant?

This word remnant,

it simply means
that which remains

foundation tonight.

In order for us to
know how we are to move

as a movement
today, we must study to see

how the spirit moved
the early church yesterday.

the testimony of Jesus,

Spirit of Prophecy.

friends, the Spirit of Prophecy

is not just referring to
one prophet at the end of time.

The Spirit of Prophecy
is the Holy Spirit speaking

the prophets of God,

from the beginning of
time to the end of time.

So it's a church
that lives by every word

want to summit that

this is one of the
reasons why Satan is so angry,

he is filled with wrath,

he is not angry at every church,

only the one that
he is threatened by.

And so in order
for us to understand

a promise we can claim

afraid of the future, friends.

how the dragon is wrath,

We are going to experience
the wrath of the dragon,

but I'm so thankful that
we don't have to be afraid

because the Bible says that

perfect love cast
out fear from our hearts

as we understand the
love of Christ for us.

It dispels all that fear
as long as we do not forget,

how the Lord led us in the past.

powerful and profound.

Spirit of Prophecy says
that the whole world was shaken.

Even the enemies
said that these--

the words of these
Apostles, this early church

has turned the
world upside down.

And, friends I
want to experience that,

because they humbled
themselves before one another

and they between themselves

they prayed together

which means the city of peace,

to a village called Emmaus.

the cogitations of their mind

meditation of their heart

they were so discouraged,

And we have to understand

away from Jerusalem,

peace, they had no peace

The son of hope had gone down

and the night of woe had

these two disciples were
absorbed in gloom and glee,

they were utterly hopeless
and bitterly disappointed,

they were crushed by confusion

in despondency and despair

because they had just witnessed

He who they
thought was the Messiah

Him they feel that perhaps

the exact same fate.

These two
disciples were standing

in the dark shadow of the cross

and it was unbearable,

they gonna make it through.

They are confused by the things

that their eyes had seen.

dark and uncertain.

And it seemed like
there was no light in sight.

friends, these disciples

had just witnessed the cross,

the significance of it.

They are so discouraged.

notice what Jesus does,

plagued with pain,
