how he was created perfect

in wisdom, perfect in beauty.

He was an anointed cherub.

But then Isaiah
14 shows that Lucifer

started... with all of
this beauty and his majesty...

began to be lifted up
in his heart and he said:

"I will ascend... " "I
will exalt my throne... "

"I will be like
the Most High God. "

Do you realize that the power -

the hellish power of pride -

has a Satanic origin?

The hellish power of pride
is the working of self love.

It is absolutely opposite

to divine, self-sacrificing
love and the humility of God.

It is something
that... This pride will cause

people to have self-exaltation
and rebel against God.

exactly what Lucifer did.

So the great controversy is
between self-sacrificing love

It is between

Satan, being the father of
all lies as Jesus called him,

He distorted the truth
saying that God was unfair,

no... just this one tree.

But the lie that
Satan perpetrated was:

"You will be like God and

This is a lie that he is per-
petrating in the church today.

You know, sin is habit forming

contagious condition.

In the fallen nature of man
after that first sin we find

grace, mercy, and pardon.
