00:46 When the roll is called up yonder,
00:50 When the roll is called up yonder, 00:56 When the roll 00:58 is called up yonder, 01:03 When the roll is called up yonder 01:06 I'll be there. 01:10 Amen! I want to be there, don't you? 01:12 Amen! I do, too! 01:14 Bro. Bruce, lead us in prayer, would you? 01:16 Heavenly Father, it's been a blessed Sabbath. 01:18 We've been sitting at the feet of Your servants, learning 01:21 and listening and wanting more of You. 01:24 We want to be on that roll, Lord, 01:27 and if we've accepted You we ARE on that roll. 01:30 I pray, Father, that we will believe that; 01:32 we will accept that; know that we are saved 01:34 by the grace of Jesus and we are led by Him. 01:37 Help us never to doubt 01:39 but always to be in forgiveness and humbleness. 01:42 Thank you, Jesus, for being here. 01:43 Bless everything that goes on here tonight. 01:46 May this gospel go around the world. 01:48 In Jesus' name, Amen. Amen! 01:51 You may be seated. Thank you very much 01:53 Bruce and Jackie Fjarli. 01:56 And they have been leading us in wonderful music 02:00 all throughout this Camp Meet- ing. Haven't you enjoyed that? 02:04 Amen! It's been a real blessing 02:07 and we just want to thank them. 02:08 They've come all the way out here from Oregon 02:11 and I have really been blessed by this music. 02:17 Well we've got some tremendous things to talk about. 02:20 And I'm going to invite Dr. Yvonne Lewis to come out 02:24 right now and bring her team with her 02:29 because this is something that's exciting. 02:33 Dare to Dream is just such an exciting ministry. 02:38 And I want to tell you something: this lady 02:41 is the hardest-working person - other than me - 02:46 that I know. 02:49 And I will have to admit that I stay at the office 02:53 as long as I can, and when I leave my office 02:57 she's still working. Course she didn't get there... 03:00 No, I'm just teasing you. No you're not teasing. 03:03 I'm on the second shift. That's a joke... OK. 03:06 No, this lady... she puts in her hours. 03:10 I mean hour after hour. 03:12 And it has really shown because Dare to Dream 03:15 went from having absolutely nothing - 03:18 zero - to 100 miles an hour just very quickly. Praise the Lord! 03:22 I'm going to let you introduce these two guys - yes - 03:26 and just take your time. You've got it. Well, thank you. 03:29 Thank you, sir. Over the past several months 03:33 there have been many new developments - new and exciting 03:37 developments really - at Dare to Dream. 03:40 The first thing is new staff. 03:42 I don't know how many of you knew, but for the first couple 03:45 of years I was there... And I hate to say by myself 03:49 because I had all the resources of 3ABN 03:51 and it was such a blessing. 03:53 But I really really needed some help, 03:57 and this year God sent me two wonderful workers. 04:02 And I'm going to introduce you to them right now. 04:05 I have Ryan St. Hillaire who is our director/editor 04:10 and Jason Bradley, who is my son, who is my assistant. 04:14 And let's start with you, Ryan. I want to talk a little bit 04:18 about Ryan. 04:20 He has been an amazing blessing to us. 04:25 Ryan... before he came here 04:28 and he continues to be a part of a ministry called 04:32 Unseen Media. And he had sent me some work that he had done 04:37 and I was really really excited about what I saw 04:42 because it just had a standard of excellence about it. 04:46 And so I invited him to come here 04:49 and he did. And he came here... When did you come, Ryan? 04:53 It was about February - February - 2014. 04:56 February of 2014, and I hate to tell you guys this 05:00 but Ryan is leaving us as of the end of October. 05:06 But we thank you so much, Ryan, for what you've done. 05:09 He acts as our director and edi- tor, and you guys have no idea 05:13 how badly we need editors and directors 05:17 because we have several networks 05:20 and we have a lot of work that has to be done. 05:22 And so having Ryan here... He's nodding. That's for sure. 05:26 Having him here has just been an amazing blessing. 05:31 And he thinks outside the box and has successfully directed 05:35 several programs for Dare to Dream during his tenure here. 05:39 So Ryan, I need to ask you a question. 05:43 Why should people of your generation... 05:47 'cause I know that you are very concerned about young people... 05:50 why should people of your generation watch Dare to Dream? 05:53 That's a good question because some people have asked me that 05:56 as well. And I believe that when it comes to Dare to Dream 06:03 as long as we live here on this earth there's going to be 06:05 different communities that have different needs. 06:08 And Dare to Dream is reaching a very specific need 06:11 of the urban residents. And because of that 06:15 you know there's specific issues that urban residents face. 06:21 Some of them: broken families, 06:24 lower education, lower income. 06:28 And as a result, Dare to Dream has got to produce programming 06:32 that is more practical 06:36 and giving more tools for young people especially 06:42 that they can watch and walk away with and be able to 06:45 apply in their day-to-day life. 06:48 And that's one of the big reasons. I think about 06:52 if I can just share this? Please, please. I remember when 06:55 we were filming one of the programs: The New Journey. 06:58 And Aaron Chancey, the host, starts off the program by 07:02 saying: "This is a program where you'll meet real-life... " 07:07 What is it? "People with real-life testimonies 07:10 doing real-life ministry for Jesus Christ. " Exactly. Yeah. 07:13 And I just remember sitting there behind the board directing 07:16 and, you know, a lot of times when you're directing 07:21 you have to focus very much on the cameras and everything 07:24 that's going on, but the testimony was so powerful - 07:27 yes - that my camera people were getting distracted. 07:33 And I had to call cameras more than once sometimes 07:37 to make a move or to change an angle. 07:39 And the program was so interesting 07:44 that we even had... I think we ran out of guests 07:49 for the programs and we started using some of our own 3ABN 07:55 staff to go on the program and share their testimony. 07:58 And they were powerful! We didn't even know 08:01 some of the testimonies that some of our workers here have. 08:04 Very powerful! I thought that was pretty amazing. 08:08 Well I just want you to know how much I've appreciated 08:11 what you've done this year. And may God bless you as you 08:13 continue to work for Him. Thank you. Thank you. 08:17 Now Jason - Jason Bradley - bless his heart 08:23 I had hired Jason several years ago to be my assistant 08:26 when I was practicing alternative medicine in Dallas. 08:30 And from there I knew his work ethic. 08:33 I knew how he has these great people skills 08:37 and my patients just loved him. And so the Lord led him here 08:41 to be my assistant. You have no idea. I was... 08:44 I was wondering who was going to be my assistant. 08:47 But a lot of times you talk to people who want to be 08:50 your assistant you find out they really just want to be 08:52 on television. And that's not what this is about. 08:56 We wanted people to work with us who have a burden for ministry. 09:01 And so with Dare to Dream 09:05 Jason just... the Lord just sent him here 09:07 and accomplished several things with one move. 09:10 Because when he came back he had been out of the church 09:13 and he came back to the Lord here and is my assistant. 09:18 So I'm just so grateful for you, Jason. 09:20 He wears several hats at the network. 09:23 He interfaces with callers; he's my liaison 09:27 with various pastors; he co-produces programming; 09:31 and he's very involved in marketing Dare to Dream to 09:34 the prisons... which I'm going to share a little bit more with 09:36 you in a bit. So Jason, I'm going to ask you: 09:39 why should anybody watch Dare to Dream? 09:44 Well, Dare to Dream is very unique in the sense that 09:47 it offers practical tools for living, a spiritual perspective, 09:51 and the gospel of Jesus Christ. 09:54 As Ryan was saying a minute ago about The New Journey 09:58 there are some very powerful testimonies on there. 10:00 And I am so happy that we serve a God that is in the business 10:05 of transforming and restoring. 10:08 You know, there are... I was lost. 10:11 I was out there and He brought me back 10:16 and I feel like this is my calling. 10:19 So if I have to say anything, I mean, Dare to Dream 10:23 shows you how to live and practice Christianity 10:27 from taking care of the temple... You know, healthy 10:31 living. Good foods to cook, and they actually taste good too. 10:36 I'm not a health food kind of guy, but they have some great 10:40 great food that they make. 10:43 Oh yeah, yeah... So there's countless reasons 10:48 and I encourage everyone to take a look at Dare to Dream. 10:53 Thank you so much. I'm so pleased that you're with us. 10:56 As a mother, this is an answer to prayer 11:00 so praise the Lord. Thank you and thank you, Ryan. 11:04 Well, also we have some new programs. 11:08 One of them is Foundation of our Faith. 11:10 How many of you have seen that? 11:12 Foundation of our Faith? A few of you have. 11:14 Foundation of our Faith is our new preaching program. 11:17 It's a dynamic program. It features speakers that are 11:20 powerful and musical evangelists from around the country. 11:25 And we hope to do it at least four times. 11:27 Four of these programs once each quarter 11:30 in the upcoming year. But if you just check the schedule 11:33 you can see when we're airing Foundation of our Faith. 11:38 And then we have From Sickness to Health. 11:40 And I know that some of you know about this and some of you 11:43 don't, but it's a program that has a little bit of comedy 11:48 in it. It has science in it. Of course it has the Bible in it. 11:52 You're going to love it. Jared Thurmon plays Sickness 11:56 and he is blue... he's literally blue. 11:59 And so this program is just... 12:02 It's going to be really, really good. 12:04 We believe that God is going to do great things 12:06 with this program 'cause it's unlike anything else 12:09 that's out there. And then we have a program coming out 12:12 called The Road to Romance. 12:14 And it's based on Dr. John Jacob's XY THEORY 12:18 of relationships. It features couples that want to discover 12:22 their relational personalities and work through their issues. 12:26 So each program has a spiritual component 12:29 that addresses how God through his Word views the problem 12:32 and it also has interesting information about each person's 12:38 personality. And then we have another program coming 12:41 called Chew's Challenge, and that's going to begin airing 12:44 on January 1. It's a 28-day challenge. 12:48 It's different because the host is Pastor and Chef 12:53 G. W. Chew, and he's developed the FORK system 12:56 for lifestyle change and weight loss. 12:59 FORK is an acronym for faith, organization, 13:03 recipes, and knowledge. 13:05 The program is organized into those segments 13:08 combining these elements with tasty recipes. 13:11 So again, we're going to begin airing this 28-day program 13:15 on January 1, 2015, Lord willing. 13:19 In 2015 we are planning rallies. 13:23 We're planning 7 rallies in ur- ban centers around the country. 13:28 And this is in an effort to increase awareness 13:30 and raise funds to Dare to Dream. 13:32 So we're connecting with urban pastors in seven cities: 13:36 St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, 13:38 New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Dallas. 13:42 Our first rally is scheduled for March 21, 2015. 13:47 And thus far we are receiving great cooperation 13:50 from the pastors in this effort. 13:52 So you can see that we've got great things happening, 13:55 new things happening. But I've got to tell you 13:58 that I'm super excited about our collaboration with 14:02 our marketing department in getting Dare to Dream 14:05 into the prison system. 14:08 Here are some bullet points that I want to share with you: 14:10 So Jason has been working very closely with our marketing 14:14 director, Moses Primo, Jr. 14:17 And his team... they've been just getting us into all of 14:21 these different correctional facilities around the country. 14:26 How many of you understand how important it is 14:29 to get the gospel into the prison system? 14:33 It is so super important. God... Jesus is coming... 14:37 you know He's coming. And if we don't reach out 14:40 and get this gospel into every... every place, 14:43 everywhere, every corner of the world, 14:47 then we're not doing our job. 14:49 So God is moving, and this marketing team 14:53 is really really working to get the gospel into the prisons. 14:58 Correctional Cable Television - CCT - is open to having a 15:02 discussion with Moses Primo, Jr. about getting 3ABN - 15:06 our parent network - 3ABN Latino, 15:09 Proclaim! and Dare to Dream on in its 160 facilities. 15:15 Now... Ya'll didn't say amen. Like... 15:19 OK, OK, good, good. 15:20 In their 160 installs 95% of them 15:26 are receiving another Christian network on the G14 15:30 which is a C-band signal. 15:32 In order for us to be on cable 15:35 we have to have the C-band - 15:38 It's the G14 but it's called the C-band signal - 15:41 or else we cannot share with another network 15:46 that has that. Currently Dare to Dream is not 15:49 equipped to be on cable as we need a C-band signal. 15:53 And there's opportunities that we can 15:55 avail ourselves of if we get the C-band signal. 15:59 Dare to Dream may some day actually be able 16:05 to be in 160 locations that Correctional Cable Television 16:11 controls nationwide. The cost for this for the C-band 16:15 is about $2,000 to $3,000 per facility. 16:19 And Moses Senior... Moses Primo Sr. 16:23 is working on getting a reduction in cost 16:26 'cause we really really need that C-band. 16:29 Not just for the prisons but also just to get onto cable 16:34 television... which you know every Camp Meeting I'm saying 16:38 "We need to be on cable. " 16:40 And hopefully by the grace of God in this coming year 16:43 we are believing for that miracle. 16:46 I have a little letter that I want to read to you 16:50 from an inmate in a correctional facility. 16:53 I'm not going to read the whole letter because, you know, 16:56 I just took some parts out for you 16:59 because it's a little too long for me to read all of it. 17:03 But he says: "What I want to address and speak to 17:06 is about what you mentioned about prison ministry 17:10 and getting into various prisons in other states 17:13 and particularly here in California, of course. 17:16 You see, I'm here in Pelican Bay State Prison. 17:19 It was only recently as the TV stations got cancelled 17:24 and we got new stations that I came upon 3ABN. 17:27 Now I was a part of the mainstream Christendom church. 17:31 However, as I searched and allowed the Holy Spirit 17:35 to guide, direct, and teach me the truth 17:38 I have become disillusioned due to the doctrines not being 17:42 firmly rooted in the absolute truth of scripture. Yet your 17:46 program and its doctrines are what's been missing. " 17:52 He goes on to say that: 17:55 "3ABN is much different and better. More richer and complete 18:01 because simply practicing Sabbath rest and honoring 18:05 all the commandments for starters is key 18:09 while other churches practice the pagan day of Sunday. 18:14 How can anyone who reads and studies the Bible 18:16 and conduct services on a Sunday 18:18 not realize what day is the Sabbath? 18:21 Not Sunday! " He said: "I've wholeheartedly embraced 18:25 being an Adventist now. 18:28 And if possible and time permits you a chance 18:31 please feel free to write back and ask whatever questions 18:34 you need answered and if I can I will fulfill your request. " 18:39 This young man is now a Seventh-day Adventist 18:42 after having watched 3ABN! 18:46 And this is going on all the time. 18:49 But we want more... we're greedy. 18:52 We want more. We want to get into all the prisons. 18:54 We're working with Lemuel Vega and Christmas Behind Bars. 18:58 We have some great plans, so I ask you to please 19:02 support us. This is what I need from you. 19:05 In order to get the signal for cable, both for prisons - 19:08 both for the prisons and the inner city - 19:11 we're going to require about $20,000 a month 19:14 for the C-band signal. This is to get it out over the airwaves. 19:19 So please ask the Holy Spirit's guidance in how much to give 19:23 and then please partner with us to take the gospel 19:27 into the places that need it so desperately. 19:30 You know in your heart of hearts 19:33 that we are almost home. God bless you; thank you. 19:40 Thank you. Wow! Exciting plans, right? 19:45 Everything that is happening at 3ABN is exciting. 19:50 I will tell you that Dare to Dream 19:54 is so exciting... reaching so many people. 19:57 Proclaim! So exciting. 20:01 I want you to... If we get a chance to hear from C.A. 20:04 about Proclaim! He is really excited about what's going on 20:08 there. And it is just that the Lord is coming 20:14 and we've got to get this message out to everybody. 20:19 Latino. 3ABN Français... we're going to hear a little bit about 20:23 that in a little bit here. 20:25 And we... The Lord has said "Go! " 20:29 He didn't say: "Wait until you have the money. " 20:32 He said: "Go. " And see, I've always been the kind of 20:37 person who waited till I got the money... 20:39 until I got here. 20:43 And if you waited till you got the money here 20:46 you'd be backing up because it... 20:50 you'd be waiting a long time. 20:52 We have to move forward by faith, and when we do 20:55 God honors... honors faith. 20:58 John Lomacang is a man we love here at 3ABN. 21:03 We love working with him; we love living with him, 21:08 teasing him. He almost ran over me a few minutes ago. 21:13 He said he didn't. 21:16 He said he was "trying to catch me. " 21:20 I was only going about 35 miles an hour. 21:24 But... Jim is part of the Advent movement - yeah - 21:28 so I was trying to keep up with him. 21:30 He caught me all right. What are you going to sing for us? 21:33 A song that has become kind of a summary of my life: 21:37 God Leads His Dear Children Along. 21:41 You know: 31 years of marriage, 27 years of ministry, 21:45 my wife and I sometimes sit down and look 21:47 at our humble beginnings... two teenagers in Brooklyn. 21:50 Yeah. Not knowing what our life was like, 21:53 not knowing what the future would hold. 21:54 Gambler, pool hustler, partier, night life. That's you? 21:58 That wasn't your wife. That's me, that wasn't my wife. 22:00 No. And He sent a young lady into my life that had 22:02 a connection with Jesus. And she was determined 22:05 to make sure that I had that connection before we moved on. 22:09 And some evenings we just sit down and say: "Look at us! 22:12 Look at where we came from; look at where we're headed. " 22:15 And you know, the reason why this song is special 22:17 is because wherever God finds you, wherever He leads you 22:20 is better than where He finds you. 22:23 That's right. And John, it is amazing what God does, 22:26 isn't it? It is! 22:28 And He leads His dear children along. 22:30 Through fire... through flood sometimes. 22:33 Through water, but always through His blood. 22:35 Amen! Let the Lord lead you. 22:56 In shady green pastures 23:02 so rich and so sweet 23:06 God leads 23:09 His dear children along. 23:16 Where the water's cool flow 23:20 bathes the weary one's feet 23:26 God leads His children 23:31 along. 23:37 Some through the water 23:40 and some through the flood. 23:45 Some through the fire 23:49 but all through His blood. 23:56 Some through great sorrow 24:00 but God gives a song 24:04 in the night season 24:09 and all the day long. 24:29 Tho' sorrows befall us 24:32 and Satan oppose, 24:36 God leads His dear children 24:40 along; 24:44 Through faith we will conquer 24:47 and defeat all our foes, 24:52 God leads 24:54 His children along. 25:00 He leads some through the water 25:05 and some through the flood, 25:09 Some through the fire, 25:13 but all 25:17 through His blood; 25:22 Some through great sorrow 25:26 yet God will give a song 25:30 in your night season... 25:40 in the night season 25:45 and all 25:51 the day 25:54 long. 26:11 Wow! John, that's your song. 26:15 That is your song. Praise the Lord! 26:19 Well, this is Moses Primo. 26:22 I know he's new to you. 26:27 And Moses is our director of broadcasting and engineering. 26:33 And we don't buy anything without talking to Moses. 26:38 And if it's electronic - electrical... 26:43 involves television production, radio production - 26:46 this is the man that signs off on it. 26:50 God sent him here! 26:52 And I tell you: I could tell the difference 26:55 in the viewing quality of 3ABN 26:59 within months after this man arrived. 27:02 I would look at 3ABN, and the picture was not all that good. 27:08 And I would say: "Let me show you. " And I would 27:12 turn over to another channel and say: "Now look. 27:14 See this is good and oh, this is not a real good signal. " 27:20 And then one day I was telling somebody that 27:22 and I said: "See, this is not all that good. " 27:25 And I turned over... Wait a minute. I turned back. 27:29 Now this is a true story. 27:32 "Something has happened at 3ABN. 27:36 Their picture is all of a sudden clear. 27:42 It doesn't look amateurish... it's professional. " 27:47 God had sent a man who had experience with 27:52 Fox Television and knew what he was doing 27:56 and was called to come here. 27:59 Specifically God called him to come here. 28:03 Thank you, Moses, for listening to the call. 28:07 It's a blessing to be here. 28:08 I can see that I was prepared to do what I'm doing. 28:13 So it's no coincidence. 28:16 It's not my decision. It's just us to put our lives 28:20 in God's hands and then He will guide and that 28:22 He will provide. Praise the Lord! 28:24 Tell us some of the things you'd like to see happen, 28:27 would you? OK. Well before... It's easy to come here 28:31 and just tell you: "Oh, we need this much money. " 28:35 I will just tell you a little bit about the blessings also. 28:38 We have about 130 downlink stations 28:42 that we are in the process of converting to digital. 28:46 And people are being blessed every day as they... 28:51 We don't have a lot of expenditures in billboards 28:56 and newspaper announcements. 28:58 We basically just barely have enough funds to put these 29:03 stations in digital format and convert them from analog 29:09 to digital and have four or five channels 29:14 that are using one frequency. So some of these people are 29:18 just stumbling by and saying: "Oh, there's a new channel 29:21 here. " And they start to watch and this is how the Holy Spirit 29:24 uses to reach more people and to give the 3 angels' messages. 29:30 We are very blessed to have a very hard worker 29:35 Dan Peek. He is... Right now he is... he has been 29:39 for about 5 or 6 weeks inside of his truck 29:43 with his son that is about 10 or 11 years old. 29:48 And he is going around to all the West Coast 29:51 and he is converting these analog stations to digital 29:57 and quadruple the capability of people to watch 30:03 not only 3ABN English but now they can watch 30:06 3ABN Latino, Dare to Dream, and the Proclaim! channel. 30:11 So we praise God for this opportunity. 30:13 There are still some very close deadlines that we have to meet 30:17 by the end of the year the FCC has given us to convert 30:22 these stations. So please pray that we will be able to 30:26 finish all the conversion and have the funds to... 30:30 to be able to convert all the stations and be able to 30:34 continue blessing the people around the area here. 30:40 Also, we are working on adding... I will just tell you 30:46 this: I haven't talked to ADCOM yet. 30:49 But it is in the works because the people in the Pacific 30:53 are asking: "How about 3ABN? We want to watch 3ABN! " 30:57 They are not very large areas because they are small islands. 31:01 But people are asking for satellite coverage 31:05 so I have been talking to Intelsat 31:09 negotiating prices before I can bring it to our administration. 31:15 And we are just praying that a new satellite will be added - 31:19 it would be the 10th one - to cover an area 31:22 in the Pacific that we are not covering yet. 31:25 There are a lot of people that are really needing 31:30 to hear the three angels' messages in the Pacific area. 31:34 We are also working on the tapeless conversion here 31:39 at 3ABN in the production. And it has been a very expensive 31:45 and extended project. 31:50 The enemy has created a lot of obstacles, but praise 31:54 the Lord we are in the last steps to finish that tapeless 31:58 conversion. And the funds are being still acquired. 32:04 We praise God for what He already provided. 32:07 And I'll say in about a month or less 32:11 we'll be able to be completely operating with servers 32:17 and no more tape machines or video tapes 32:22 that break and have problems and the expenses of keeping... 32:27 buying new tapes also. 32:30 So we are very excited because we have this 32:34 project almost finished and we are ready to tackle 32:38 the new project, which is building the control room 32:42 for this worship center here. 32:45 What you are doing now by watching these programs 32:49 is only possible because our old truck is outside 32:53 and all the cables are connected to this studio here 32:56 and we are able to produce these programs because of 33:00 our old truck. But what we want to do 33:04 is build a control room here 33:07 where we have all of the capability to keep this 33:11 production going on while the truck is out, 33:15 you know, shooting in other locations in different cities. 33:19 So this is our next project 33:23 and we are raising funds for that. 33:25 We don't have those funds yet. And as Pastor Jim and Danny 33:30 already mentioned to you this morning, 33:32 we are asking for funds for this project. 33:37 Let me tell you also about the Internet outreach. 33:44 During the Sabbath hours I can see the reports from 33:49 the data centers that we use that when it's approaching 33:53 Friday evening we start to get thousands and thousands 33:58 and thousands of other people connecting and watching 3ABN. 34:03 Just to give you an idea, on Fridays especially in the 34:07 evening we have about 15,000 people watching 3ABN 34:12 all the time. And this is not just one here and one there. 34:17 They just come and "boom! " they avalanche the servers. 34:21 And they are all watching con- tinuously... not only 5 minutes, 34:26 10 minutes, or a half an hour. 34:28 They are just watching continu- ously more than 15,000 people. 34:32 And then on Saturday we see a little bit of downsize. 34:36 Probably people are going to church or whatever maybe, 34:39 but still we have about 10,000 to 12,000 people watching 34:43 on Saturdays. And then we see the climbing on Sundays through 34:48 Thursdays - about 7,000 to 10,000 people are watching. 34:53 And this is really a blessing 34:56 because this 3ABN streaming is on 24 hours 35:01 anywhere in the world that you have an Internet connection. 35:06 Also the apps on your cell phones you can watch it. 35:11 Just don't watch it when you are driving 35:14 like Pastor Jim mentioned. So it is a blessing to have that 35:18 on the phones, on the IPTV boxes, 35:23 on the Roku. By the way, I just read this last week 35:27 that the Roku had a jump. We had reports of 5 million 35:33 boxes sold, and I read last week that Roku announced that 35:39 they already sold ten million boxes 35:42 that are able to get 3ABN 35:46 if they are watching on the Roku. 35:49 So it is just growing. 35:53 We wanted to improve in the 35:58 Internet capabilities. 36:01 Moses Jr. and some other people are working 36:06 to develop... We have contacted two companies. 36:10 We don't have all the resources. 36:13 We don't have all the funds, 36:15 but we are able to with the funds that you give 36:19 we are able to contract some people that we need 36:24 to help us to accomplish all of this. 36:27 So we are contracting with two companies 36:30 and we are developing... I am helping Moses Jr. 36:34 to develop a video on demand. 36:39 Today everybody is busy. 36:42 Not everybody has time to... "Oh, I'm going to watch 36:45 Camp Meeting. I have to be home by seven o'clock. " 36:49 And if they miss it they may be able to record. 36:54 But if they miss that, it's gone. 36:57 They will have to wait for a repeating. 36:59 The video on demand will allow you to watch 37:02 any of the 3ABN programs any time you want. 37:07 You can just go there and select the programs 37:11 that you want to... "Oh, I missed Camp Meeting. 37:13 I want to watch the music pro- gram that was this afternoon. " 37:16 You can just go on Tuesday, on Monday. Any time of the week 37:20 just go there and click and watch what you want to watch 37:23 the time that you have available to watch. 37:27 This is going to also increase tremendously the audience 37:31 that we will be able to reach. 37:34 We are so excited for other things. With this same project 37:38 we are going to improve our electronic store. 37:41 We are going to allow... many of the products 3ABN has 37:45 available will be there and you will be able to purchase 37:48 that online. We are doing another very exciting... 37:54 I have talked to the person that is a code writer 38:00 and we are working on writing the program that 38:06 will put the 3ABN logo on Samsung's Smart TV sets. 38:12 So when you go to Wal-Mart and you buy a flat-screen 38:17 Smart TV that has already Internet connection 38:21 and you go home, you plug in and you connect to your Internet 38:24 automatically it will come on with all the other networks 38:28 that have done the same. It will come on 3ABN's logo. 38:34 So right there you'll be able to choose. 38:36 You don't even have to know what is 3ABN. 38:38 Some people will not know but they will just go there, 38:42 click on that logo, and they will be able to watch 38:45 all the channels that we have... all the networks that we have. 38:48 I believe that's going to be a tremendous blessing 38:50 because everybody is just buying these new TVs 38:53 and most of them are Smart TVs and they will have 38:57 3ABN available also. 39:00 It's a project that, of course, costs money. 39:04 But I'm not worried about money because that's not my job. 39:09 That's Jim's and Danny's job to do that. 39:13 And the Lord is to provide. 39:15 I am sure that God has the right time. 39:19 I just have to keep up with the technology and what it out there 39:24 and what the people are using for the world 39:26 we should use for the preaching of the gospel. 39:29 So that is my job, and that's what I try to do 39:34 and tell them how much it costs. 39:37 So this is going to be 39:40 a very good step to reach more people: 39:45 the Smart TV's... I believe... and also the VOD. 39:50 We want to talk about 3ABN Français. 39:54 They asked me to manage this channel 39:58 and we have... It's a "baby" channel. 40:02 We just started and we are in the initial steps 40:07 of developing the programming. 40:11 We had about 6 people that came 40:15 in July, and they videotaped here all the programs in French. 40:19 But we don't have a studio yet. We have to go to 40:23 the 3ABN English and: "Can we have one hour for this studio 40:29 to record these? " We have to go to Latino and say: 40:33 "We need the studio to record the 3ABN French. " 40:36 And it's not a fight but it's a dispute of the 40:42 studio availability. So I am praying that 40:46 we very soon will be able to move all the stuff that is 40:50 in the Boss Auditorium that used to be a studio there 40:54 and that we can slowly build a studio for the French 40:58 then we'll be able to produce more French-speaking programs. 41:04 But right now we are online 24/7. 41:09 If you know somebody that speaks French and you want to 41:13 minister to them, give them the 3ABN website. 41:16 They can go there and then they can watch... 41:19 not 24 hours yet, but mixed with some of the 3ABN English 41:23 programming because we don't have 24 hours of French 41:27 content. But slowly we are adding 41:30 and we have hopes that very soon 41:34 we'll be able to have blocks of 8 hours of French content. 41:39 But it is going well. The other thing that we want to do soon 41:43 before the end of the year is to add the 3ABN Français 41:48 on the Roku box 41:49 because that will automatically give a lot of... 41:53 potentially 10 million people... that if they know somebody 41:57 that speaks French, they will be able to watch 3ABN. 42:02 And the message is the same. It's the three angels' messages. 42:05 It is just in a different language that we are reaching 42:09 a different group of people. 42:11 So please pray for 3ABN Français. 42:15 If you have a burden for it, send your financial help 42:19 or your prayers that we'll be able to grow 42:23 on this channel also. 42:26 We are very excited with... 42:29 I'm just telling a little bit of the results. 42:33 I am blessed to be part of the 3ABN Australia board 42:39 and we had a meeting a few weeks ago. 42:42 And we were very excited with what they are doing 42:45 in Australia. Unfortunately, they are not 42:47 here at this Camp Meeting. 42:48 We had a lot of reports about Russia and Latino 42:52 and the radio. I just want to tell you a little bit about 3ABN 42:56 Australia... which Jay already mentioned. They have a new 43:00 radio: 3ABN Australia Radio... so we are blessed with that. 43:06 But also they have finished a second studio. 43:11 They have a studio A. It's like 3ABN here. 43:15 They have a studio A that they have been producing for about 43:18 a year and now they built a studio B. 43:22 So while they are taping in studio A, they are building 43:25 sets and preparing in studio B. 43:28 And as soon as they finish they start recording in studio B. 43:31 So we praise God that we purchased the cameras 43:34 that we needed for studio B 43:35 and that they are now taping in both studios. 43:39 They have finished a new series called A Day With The King. 43:45 It's a children's program that is excellent 43:50 that you haven't seen yet. It's not showing in 3ABN English. 43:54 It has been showing on 3ABN International. 43:57 But you will be able to watch A Day With The King. 44:03 Very very good program for children. 44:05 Talks about activities that children can do on the Sabbath 44:09 Day and how to worship God on His holy day. 44:16 We want to just give you some news from Papua, New Guinea. 44:19 We have two new television stations in Papua, New Guinea. 44:24 And I tell you: these didn't cost you anything! 44:29 It was a minister that... 44:34 he watched 3ABN there in the capital city of 44:39 Port Moresby. And he was so impressed and he said: 44:44 "I want this message for my city and I want these health 44:49 programs for my city. " So what he did: he went back. 44:52 It's in... it's called highlands. 44:54 He went back to his city and he said: 44:58 "I'm going to build this. Tell how much it costs. " 45:01 And he financed the whole thing. He purchased a transmitter, 45:06 antennas, towers and everything and he put it on the air. 45:09 And we are in the process of putting in the second city 45:13 near to that one, so there are two new stations... 45:16 new stations in Papua, New Guinea. 45:18 The work is growing there. 45:20 We are very excited with the way that the Lord is 45:24 reaching that people in Papua, New Guinea. 45:29 I just want to give you a little update on... You have heard 45:33 already about the new truck. It's a need that we have. 45:38 This is a... Let's see: we built in 1998 45:42 14 and 16 years old the truck that has a lot of problems. 45:48 You probably haven't seen... This morning we were running 45:51 because we had two cameras that went down 45:53 and the cables that were bad. 45:56 And we desperately need a new truck. 46:00 So you heard Pastor Jim and Danny mention 46:05 it's a step that we are going to take in faith 46:09 in buying the box... you know, the trailer... 46:13 and build as we grow... 46:17 as we have the funds. 46:20 And we trust that these funds will come 46:23 because it's greatly needed to have. And also 46:28 this would be a HD truck 46:30 that all the 3ABN productions, not only here in the Worship 46:35 Center or all the other studios 46:37 are already being produced... Not in the Worship Center, 46:40 I'm sorry... but the other studios are already in HD. 46:44 So we need this Worship Center here to be in HD. 46:47 We need the truck to be in HD. 46:49 So this is another need that we have. 46:52 I don't have a lot of minutes left, so I just want to tell you 46:56 that we are busy for the Lord is coming soon. 47:01 You have heard all the messages that were preached here 47:07 on this weekend and all the beautiful songs that we had. 47:13 And all is about Jesus' coming. 47:15 It won't do any good to take the resources that we have 47:20 because we will not need it in heaven. 47:23 So this is the time. Invest in some things that you can see 47:27 returns. And I'm just telling you a little bit of the returns 47:30 that we have. I wish we had more time 47:33 to tell you the e-mails and the letters and the phone calls. 47:39 My wife works with me sometimes and she gets phone calls 47:44 from old ladies... 90, 92 years old. 47:49 And we have been able to help them to watch 3ABN. 47:54 And they just tell us on the phone that it is a... 47:59 a life-meaning reason to watch TV 48:04 is because that is all the church that they have is 3ABN. 48:09 We are very blessed to be able to talk to these people 48:13 and to be able to find out that whatever we are doing here 48:17 it counts and people are being blessed. 48:21 So I want to thank you for your support of this ministry. 48:25 I want to tell you that Jesus is coming soon 48:28 and I want to tell you that there is so much more 48:31 that we can do. I try to keep up with the technology. 48:36 I do my best but everything costs so much. 48:40 Each minute that a satellite is broadcasting - 48:44 9 satellites around the world - costs money. 48:48 And every second... Actually, per minute 48:53 that somebody is watching online on the Internet 48:58 or on the phones or any other way of streaming 49:03 each minute costs us money. 49:08 And we don't purchase... We don't sell any of that 49:12 and we just offer all of this free of charge. 49:15 So I just want to tell you there is just so much more 49:18 that we can do. And we are just putting ourselves 49:21 in God's hands, and He is doing. He is opening the doors; 49:25 He is allowing people to build stations 49:28 even without our help. 49:31 So thank you so much for what you do. For your prayers 49:34 and your support. And please continue supporting 3ABN 49:38 because we are here to hasten the second coming 49:42 of Jesus very soon. Amen! Thank you. 49:50 3ABN Proclaim! is the preaching and teaching channel 49:55 of our sisterhood of networks 49:58 and we are very happy to know that it is the second most 50:01 watched channel of the constellation of channels 50:05 here at Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 50:07 It is just preaching and teaching. 50:09 I was in Oregon just a little bit ago 50:11 and talking with a fellow. He said: "I don't care 50:14 about cooking and I don't care about health 50:16 and I don't care... but I just want preaching! " 50:18 And there's a little group of men there, but 50:21 we're finding that people are coming to the Lord 50:24 through 3ABN Proclaim! 50:26 Last year a fellow drove nine hours in his truck 50:29 down to 3ABN. He got here at the close of the broadcast day. 50:32 It was about six o'clock. He said: "My pastor is away. 50:36 They're changing pastors. They're not going to baptize me 50:39 for months and I want to get baptized now. " 50:41 So you know what we did? 50:43 We baptized him right there on a Wednesday evening 50:45 right here. He was a watcher of Proclaim! 50:48 And then just... ooh... a couple of months ago 50:50 Kurt and Mary Ann Krueger had a fellow down in Dyersburg, 50:55 Tennessee, who was also a watcher of Proclaim! 50:58 And we had just finished our Anchors of Truth, and they said, 51:02 they called Jim and asked: "If we drive him up there 51:05 will you baptize him in your pool? " 51:07 And they drove him up here and we dipped him in the pool! 51:10 Praise the Lord! And again, a watcher of 3ABN Proclaim! 51:15 The Lord held the rain clouds back just long enough 51:18 to get him under the water and then we scrambled for cover. 51:21 But we are glad to know that 3ABN Proclaim! is a powerful 51:26 addition to the 3ABN family of networks 51:28 and we are very, very pleased to have it there. 51:32 Gonna sing a song very quickly. This is my first week back 51:36 since my surgery, and I don't really have the lung capacity 51:39 and I don't feel like singing this song 51:42 but I've been ordered to sing this song. 51:43 So the song I'm going to sing is called Jesus Lifts Me. 51:48 It basically says "I don't sing because I feel like singing. 51:51 I sing because when I sing Jesus lifts me. " 52:13 He lifts my burden 52:17 whenever I'm down; 52:22 He gives me joy 52:27 when I'm wearing a frown. 52:32 He is my hope 52:36 in the midst of despair 52:40 and He is my comfort 52:45 for He's always there. 52:56 So I sing 52:59 not because I feel like singing. 53:05 And I praise Him 53:08 though the end I may not see... 53:15 For whenever I lift 53:19 the name of Jesus 53:22 Jesus reaches down 53:27 and He lifts me. 53:39 He is the music 53:43 that makes my heart glad; 53:48 He whispers peace 53:52 whenever I'm sad. 53:57 He is the sunshine 54:01 that brightens my day 54:06 and He is the lighthouse 54:11 to show me the way. 54:16 So I sing 54:20 not because I feel like singing. 54:26 And I praise Him 54:29 though the end I may not see... 54:36 For whenever I lift the 54:40 name of Jesus 54:43 Jesus reaches down 54:48 and He lifts me. 54:53 So I sing 54:57 not because I just like singing. 55:02 And I praise Him 55:06 though the end I may not see... 55:12 But whenever I lift 55:17 the name of Jesus 55:20 Jesus reaches down, 55:25 turns me around, 55:27 and He plants my feet on solid ground... 55:33 He reaches down 55:38 and He 55:43 lifts me. 55:59 Amen! Welcome back; welcome back! 56:07 Oh wow! 56:09 You know, that takin' the heart out and puttin' it on the table 56:11 makes you sing better, doesn't it? 56:15 That is amazing, isn't it? 56:18 He sounded better than I've ever heard him before 56:22 and I've always loved his singing. 56:24 We were sitting back there saying: "Wow, they must have 56:27 done something to his tonsils, too, 56:30 when they had him in there because... " 56:33 You have no idea... I think you do... 56:37 how many prayers went up for C.A. 56:42 His surgery was not routine. 56:46 The doctor had thought it would take only 3-4 hours. 56:54 When it reached 8 hours I got in my car and headed 56:57 to St. Louis and we were praying all the way: 57:02 "Lord, bring him through, please. 57:05 We need him; we love him. " 57:09 And when we got to the hospital 57:13 he was just coming out of the anesthesia. 57:19 I went into the room and visited with him. 57:23 And what a time. We really praise God for his recovery. 57:29 Amen! We'll be right back... so stay with us. |
