It really has. 00:46 Inspiring, and so many people that we have met 00:50 have just felt the power of the Spirit of the Lord here. 00:53 And we're looking forward to a great Sabbath 00:57 beginning now in just a very few minutes 01:00 and then carrying through to tomorrow night. 01:02 We will be wrapping up our Camp Meeting tomorrow night. 01:06 Gonna have music here in the first hour. 01:10 And as we begin the Sabbath we felt like it'd be 01:14 just very appropriate to have music. 01:17 We've got some wonderful people. Sabbath's coming on... I need to repent. 10:56 Pastor Nelson's over here. He's looking at me. 10:58 He wants me to preach in forgiveness. 11:00 And so I love you and love all the babies. 11:03 And when Melody was born we dedicated her 11:05 to the Lord. The doctor told us it was going to be a boy. 11:08 Back then in 19... she doesn't want me to tell her age. 11:11 But 1971 when she was born 11:13 the doctor said: "Well if heartbeats mean any... " 11:17 Now seriously, after you hit 40 you're really not supposed to 11:21 tell anymore. You're kidding. No, if I were 40 I'd brag 11:23 about it, wouldn't you? You just... you just don't know yet. 11:27 You're still... When you get this age... 11:29 So the doctor said it was going to be a boy. 11:31 I went and bought a... She was Cesarean, so I went 11:34 and... knew when she was coming. Bought a ball suit 11:36 and brought it to the hospital. And the nurse said: 11:38 "You want to come up and see your little girl? " 11:41 And I said: "What? " She said: "A little girl! " 11:43 And well, we didn't have a name picked out. 11:45 And so I asked her mother: "Kaye, what are we going to name 11:47 this baby girl? " She said: "Let's think about it 11:49 and pray about it. " So the next morning we did some family music 11:53 at the time traveling and singing gospel music. 11:55 So the next morning she said: "Let's name her Melody" 11:58 as in music in faith that God would give her musical ability. 12:02 So we named her that and we said: "Lord, if You'll 12:05 give her musical abilities we promise to raise her 12:08 in an atmosphere free of any other type of music. " 12:11 And that we did. Brenda and I. 23:42 And J.D. was part of the program that day. 23:46 And we have become great friends. J.D. has played 23:49 on the Opry for many years, 23:51 and he traveled and played harmonica with Del Reeves 23:55 for about 20 years. So this guy is great but he also 24:00 has a great testimony. Murray. 29:08 When I think how Jesus loves me, 29:14 how He waited patiently 29:18 even when I turned my back 29:22 and walked away. 29:25 When He knew I wanted everything 29:30 this world could offer me 29:34 well I guess He knew the price 29:37 I'd have to pay. 29:39 So He watched me stumble downward, 29:44 saw each compromise I made, 29:48 heard each lie I whispered 29:51 just to get my way. 29:55 Still He waited there to hear me 29:59 when I cried to Him and prayed. 30:04 Then He saved my soul 30:07 and that is why I say: 30:10 "Tell me: is it any wonder 30:17 that I love Him 30:22 when you consider all He's done 30:26 for me? 30:29 And is it any wonder 30:33 that I long to do His will 30:38 and let His light shine out for all to see? 30:44 And is it any wonder 30:49 that I praise Him 30:54 each time I think of how 30:57 He's made me free? 31:01 And is it any wonder 31:06 that I've given Him my heart 31:09 when Jesus freely gave His life 31:14 for me? " 31:28 When I think how Jesus loved me, 31:33 how He watches patiently, 31:38 how His arms are stretched to meet me when I run. 31:44 When I'm feeling down and lonely 31:48 how He's there to comfort me. 31:53 In the darkness He becomes 31:55 my morning sun. 32:00 When I think of how He's healed me, 32:03 how He touched me in my pain, 32:07 how His gentle hands have wiped 32:10 my tears away. 32:14 How He's taken every heartache 32:18 and brought happiness again. 32:22 Oh I want the world to hear me 32:26 when I say: 32:29 "Tell me: is it any wonder 32:35 that I love Him 32:40 each time I think of how He's made me free? 32:47 And is it any wonder 32:51 that I've given Him my heart 32:55 when Jesus gave everything for me? 33:01 And is it any wonder 33:07 that I praise Him 33:11 each time I think of how 33:14 He's made me free? 33:18 And is it any wonder - 33:23 oh, I've given Him my heart - 33:26 when Jesus freely 33:31 gave His life 33:34 for me? " 33:51 Amen! 33:53 In September of 1986 33:59 a lady walked into my church. 34:02 And just a few weeks later I baptized her. 34:06 And she's been singing for the Lord ever since. 34:10 This is Yvonne Lewis, 34:12 and she's going to be singing My One True Love. 34:19 One day recently I was sitting in my office 34:22 talking to the editor of the 3ABN World magazine. 34:26 I was looking at my picture and I was thinking 34:29 "Ooh, I'm not... You know, I'm not this, I'm not that 34:32 or whatever. " And so he said: 34:35 He said: "Let me just tell you something. " 34:37 He said: "Cherie Peters says this: 34:39 'God is crazy about you just the way you are! ' " 34:44 And I thought: "OK! I like that! " 34:47 And I want you to know tonight that God is crazy about you 34:53 just the way you are 34:54 because you are His one true love. 35:11 I am faithful 35:15 so I won't let you fall. 35:20 You are My all in all... 35:24 My everything... I'm Bruce Fjarli. 44:07 This is my friend Steve Chapman. 44:09 Patrick Gillette and David Davies. 44:12 And five years ago we were scheduled to come sing 44:16 for Camp Meeting. 44:18 In fact, it's 5 years ago tomorrow 44:22 I went in for throat surgery. I had to cancel coming here. 44:25 I had throat cancer, 44:27 and I just want to praise the Lord 44:29 for His healing hand.
