I mean, he was an
interesting character.

He stood five
feet four inches tall.

He wore a sombrero.

A New Yorker with a sombrero.

Come on, you know he's unique.

Most of us New Yorker's are.

when they were making raids

and an old lady came up

and she's being tried
for stealing a loaf of bread.

Now the LaGuardia
asked the question

grandchildren were hungry

and we had no money.

And there weren't the
only ones during depression

and so I stole a loaf
of bread so I could feed,

I could feed my grandchildren.

Now LaGuardia was taken back.

hearted little body

he felt for this woman.

A loaf of bread to feed--
now the law required a fine

when I face judgment.

You see the Lord is there.

His law to accommodate
