and poetry and she used
to love to tell us stories

and I was at
the maximum security

in death row and a young man,

he was a third year

university
student in psychology.

He was on drugs and
he was high or low--

it was low but he
thought it was high

because his
world was upside down.

You see, it always seems high
when your world's upside down,

when your world's
right side up its low,

it's on the other side.

But anyway, he was in a
stupor and his mom came down,

to hear the still small voice.

and put her in a freezer.

and I shocked as I was by
such a cruel terrible thing.

I thought to myself

He said, I wish I had that
15 minutes back of my life.

I was talking to a drug addict

and sometime ago
in St. Bernardino

and he was
mainlining in his life,

he looked 50 and he
was only 28 years old.

He was pimping the streets

and I was sitting
with him on the porch

and talking to him
and trying to tell him

about another life
that God could have for him.

And I remember he said,

"If I wish I
could do it over again."

I was talking to a man who
was going through a divorce.

He lost his children,

lost a beautiful
wife because of lust

and how he wish he
could live those weeks

and those months and
those few years over again.

I was talking to a man
down in the Wall Street

when I was working in New York,

he was a corporate thief

and he was
spending 12 years in prison

and he said, man, I
made a dumb mistake,

and he said, I am paying for it.

out the spirit in a special way

getting he was still unhappy.
