00:23 Welcome to 3ABN's Fall Camp Meeting Homecoming 2013
00:32 Featuring inspired messages from your 3ABN family. 00:36 Along with uplifting Christian music. 00:38 All to prepare your heart for the coming of the Lord. 00:47 Well welcome. We're so happy that you could join us 00:50 for the Fall Camp Meeting. This is our Homecoming, right? 00:54 Absolutely. And we just mostly have home folks here with us. 00:58 And some folks that are home folks that have driven in 01:02 from a few miles. And we have one from Russia; 01:05 we have one from Israel. 01:06 And I saw Florida license plates and Tennessee 01:09 and a number of other places out here. All right; all right. 01:12 Well that's just great and we're so happy 01:14 to have each one of you with us. 01:17 And we are looking forward to this Camp Meeting 01:21 because we really believe that the Lord is going to bless us. 01:24 We're going to be talking about things that we believe are 01:28 the leading of the Lord in finishing God's work. 01:32 And so it's a very exciting time for us. 01:35 We had a great board today. Oh absolutely. 01:38 Twenty-nine years and I can honestly say I've never been 01:40 more encouraged about what God is doing 01:43 and how He's using 3ABN... which is all of you - 01:46 those of you at home, those of you here - 01:48 because without your love and prayers and financial support 01:51 we couldn't do anything. Right? Absolutely. 01:53 My dad used to say he didn't have enough money to feed 01:55 a sick chicken... so that'd be about where we would be 01:58 if it weren't for all of you. But after 29 years 02:00 I don't think I've ever been more encouraged 02:03 to see what God is doing. The technology that He is giving us, 02:07 pouring out to us, to reach multitudes and multitudes 02:10 of people and how every time there is a need God blesses us. 02:14 That's right. Mollie Sue, are we telling the truth? 02:15 You've been here a long time, girl. 02:17 He's never let us down and the most amazing thing is 02:21 when we think that what we'd better do is kind of back down 02:26 a little God will never allow that. 02:27 He's always moving us forward opening new doors. 02:31 Moses will come and tell us of some other project. 02:33 If we just move forward in this area we will be able to reach 02:37 a whole new people group. And Danny and Jim neither one 02:41 are going to say "no. " If God gives us an opportunity 02:44 to reach more souls, what should we do? 02:46 Move forward. And that's what we do. 02:49 Can I tell you a secret? Jim... I don't want Jim to hear 02:52 this. All right. When Jim first came - 02:54 Jim, don't listen to this - 02:55 when Jim first came... I'll just talk to you all 02:58 and the folks out here at home. But I don't want you... 03:00 When he first came we had a little bit of a hard time 03:03 getting him to want to just step out there 03:05 and go on faith, right? 03:06 We call it "water walking" around here. 03:08 And now he's going out so far Mollie and I's like: "Are you 03:10 sure we want to do? " I mean, this guy... He said: 03:13 "I love it. I mean, I am really enjoying this. " 03:15 And he's got such huge plans... but no, we're loving it too. 03:18 I tell you what, the person that's really been converted 03:21 is Brian Hamilton because Brian is our treasurer. 03:24 It's a "faith walk, " right? 03:26 Yes. That's tough for a treasurer... that's very tough. 03:29 You see, treasurers are accustomed to balanced budgets 03:30 and we don't know what a balanced budget is 03:33 at 3ABN because we're always reaching by faith forward. 03:38 And it is amazing that... You know, Danny has the saying 03:42 that "the blessing is on the go. " 03:44 And one of the things that we have found is that when you 03:47 reach out for God He never lets you down. 03:50 Amen! He never lets you down. So... 03:52 You know, we don't know what it is around here to have money 03:55 in the bank. But let me tell you something else we don't know 03:57 what it is: we don't know what it is to be in debt. 04:00 Thank you. Thank you, Lord. 04:01 God takes care of us. 04:04 Amen. That's a big praise the Lord. 04:06 And again, the board meeting today. I mean, I wish 04:09 everybody could have been in and saw what was happening, 04:12 where God has brought us from. 04:14 We need that, every few months to get together and we look at 04:17 everything and we say you know: "How does He do this 04:20 year after year after year? " 04:21 And it's just amazing. 04:23 For those of you at home - you can go 04:26 to your app store and get a 3ABN app? 04:30 Type in 3ABN... it comes in 04:32 for those of you that's got smart phones. 04:34 Now Jim and I both, we have something in common. 04:37 Two, three, four years ago they had the Blackberry or some phone 04:40 they said is a smart phone. 04:41 Unbeknownst to each other I got one. I had it two days 04:45 and took it back to Verizon. They said: "What's wrong? " 04:47 I said: "It's too smart for me. 04:48 Give me my old phone back. " 04:50 And I went back and I said: "I'm not using anything that's 04:53 that much smarter than I am because we don't get along. " 04:56 Then Jim said later you didn't get along with yours. 04:59 Well I bought one and I gave it to Mollie 05:02 because I said: "I think Mollie's smarter than I am. " 05:05 Yeah, she's smart enough to do it. "She can run it. " 05:07 By the way, doesn't Mollie look great tonight? 05:09 She does. Praise the Lord. Ya'll are just too good to me. 05:11 Thank you. Give her a hand. That's right. 05:14 I appreciate that. Praise the Lord. 05:17 How many of you have been praying for Mollie also? 05:19 Let me see your hands. I saw somebody a little earlier. 05:22 They told me they'd been praying for me. And you know, 05:24 I appreciate that so much. Thank you. But I hear so often 05:27 of people praying for me. I told them: "I am so grateful 05:30 I ought to be growing wings before long. " 05:33 All right. Anyway, you can go to get a 3ABN app 05:37 and as soon as you push it - a free app - all six channels. 05:40 You can pick which channel you want to watch: 05:42 Dare to Dream, Latino, 3ABN English, SonBeam, 05:45 Russian. Julia Outkina is here from Russia. 05:47 The Russian channel on your phone or your iPad 05:50 anywhere in the world. And in a few weeks 05:52 those of you that have the android 05:53 you'll also be able to do that. 05:55 But I mean isn't that amazing? Anywhere you're traveling 05:57 you can watch 3ABN. So now when people say: 06:00 "What do you do for a living or what kind of work are you in? " 06:02 And now they look at me like: "Aren't you retired? 06:05 Things have changed a lot. I thought you'd be retired. " 06:08 And I say: "No, our retirement's in heaven. " Yes. 06:12 But you can get this and literally... So I'll just show 06:14 people. I'll say: "Here's what we do 06:16 and here's how you can watch 3ABN. " Incredible technology. 06:19 Jim's got his right now. 06:20 Right there. Yvonne, if he was going to push on one of those 06:23 buttons which one should he push? The big D. 06:27 Dare to Dream. Dare to Dream. 06:30 There it is! And it comes right up. Wooo... right there. 06:34 Who is that? I just got Dare to Dream 06:38 and it's going right now. 06:41 That's a financial program. Yes. Cordell Thomas. 06:44 It's black. I told Yvonne, I said: "There's an awful lot 06:47 of blacks on Dare to Dream. " And she said: "Of course 06:50 there is, it's a black network. What's wrong with you? " 06:53 No, we know that; we love it. It's an inner city network. 06:55 It's not just a... People say: "Why've you got 06:58 two networks of English... you know, a black and a white? " 07:01 We said: "We don't. This is inner city. 07:02 It's special needs. Meeting the needs of the folk 07:05 in the inner cities. If you haven't watched it, 07:07 please watch Dare to Dream. 07:09 We are amazed at what Yvonne has done with so little help 07:12 has done really to produce program after program 07:16 in meeting... Before Camp Meeting's over you're going to 07:18 be hearing some of the tremendous reports of Dare to 07:21 Dream, Latino, Radio, and all the rest of them. 07:24 And Radio. We're talking about Radio today. 07:26 The impact that it has is amazing. I've had twice 07:32 that people have recognized my voice 07:35 just in line from having heard it on radio. 07:39 In fact, the other day I was in a grocery store 07:42 and a lady... I hadn't said anything 07:46 and I wasn't dressed to be seen, to be honest with you. 07:49 I had a ball cap on, but I said something to the... 07:52 the cash lady. She asked if I had a number and I was trying 07:57 to give her my number and the lady behind me said: 07:59 "I know you, you're C. A. Murray! " 08:05 She said: "I recognize your voice. " 08:10 I said: "I'm not C.A. Murray" but I said: "I know C.A. Murray 08:14 and I'll tell him that you said hello. " 08:16 "Oh, " she said, "that's right. You're the other guy. " 08:22 So that's the truth. 08:24 So radio is reaching out around the world. 08:27 So you were suspicious that she was probably - without asking 08:29 her - you probably said: "You're listening to us on radio 08:31 not watching on TV. " Yeah. OK. 08:33 That was my conclusion. Probably a pretty good guess. 08:38 She told me she was coming out here. Are you out here tonight? 08:41 Let me see your hand, all right? 08:43 She told me she was going to come this week to Camp Meeting. 08:46 She may be. All of this is possible because He lives. 08:49 Right. And we're going to do that. John, why don't you 08:51 come up and lead us. And those of you out here 08:53 and those of you at home why don't you sing with us. 08:55 We're just going to do the chorus. We may do it twice. 08:58 Lisa's playing, and John, let's get this song. It's great! 09:01 Probably not good for camera but why don't you stand up 09:04 if you believe that Jesus lives. 10:41 I'm going to ask Pastor Roger Robertsen to lead 10:45 us to the throne of grace. 10:46 He's the leader of the church - the Seventh-day Adventist 10:50 church - in Israel for the whole country of Israel. 10:55 And tonight we're going to ask him to lead us to the throne. 11:03 Dear heavenly Father, we thank you that You have gathered us 11:08 together here. Thank you for making us able to listen, 11:13 to sing, to share. 11:16 And tonight as I have my greetings from the Israel field 11:19 of Seventh-day Adventists to this gathering 11:23 I ask You to bless it. 11:25 Help each one of us to give our hearts and dedicate ourselves 11:30 to You more fully than ever before. 11:33 Help us spread this message of Your love to the world. 11:37 Accept each and every one of us here as Your child and Your 11:41 children. Bless the leadership of 3ABN. 11:45 Bless all the programs which are going to be made 11:48 and produced and bless this Homecoming event 11:52 in a very special way. 11:54 Please accept us as Your children, Father. 11:57 In the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, Amen. Amen. 12:01 I'm going to ask Pastor Roger to... You may be seated. 12:05 to share just a couple of words with us here because just 12:10 before we came on the air I was talking with him 12:12 and we were talking about the location of our church 12:16 which is - 1930's I believe when they started building that. 12:21 It's just a few hundred yards from the King David Hotel. 12:25 It's 4 Lincoln Street which is an amazing address 12:30 I feel. And tell us, you were sharing some things 12:35 about that location from the Bible. 12:37 Well also outside of the Bible we have some good neighbors. 12:41 Yeah, Barack Obama visited with us lately. 12:45 He stayed there in that hotel. All right. 12:47 He stayed in King David Hotel. 12:49 They came to check our cars and everything. 12:52 They wanted to make sure we were friends and not enemies. 12:54 OK. So... but the Seventh-day Adventist church 12:58 in Jerusalem is located at a very special place 13:03 because as you come up out from the Hinnom Valley - 13:07 that's the valley in the Bible that's come to be taken as 13:11 a symbol of lostness and destruction and darkness - 13:14 and the Seventh-day Adventist church is outside... 13:17 it's on the hilltop as you come out of that. 13:21 And that's where you start the next valley. 13:23 It's sort of a flat, wide valley. 13:26 It's v'amech ephraim... it's the valley of Ephraim. 13:29 This of course is one of the places King David 13:32 fought the Philistines. And he was asking the Lord 13:38 "Lord, should we go forward and fight them now? " 13:41 And the Lord told him: "Just hold it a little and wait. 13:45 Wait until you can hear the marching in the treetops. " 13:50 'Cause then the Lord would be fighting for them, going ahead 13:53 in front of them. And so David held back 13:56 and he was waiting. And as they were listening 13:59 and they could hear the sound of marching in the treetops 14:02 that's when they went forward. 14:04 And they fought the Philistines and defeated them. 14:07 So our church today... We are living in the end of time 14:12 and we have already heard the call from above. 14:15 We can hear the Lord... He is marching. 14:17 He's ahead of us... He's waiting for us. 14:19 And now the church in Israel... it's also going forward. 14:22 And really, things are happening there which are amazing. 14:26 So it's a great joy for me coming from the cold north 14:31 of Norway to be working in Israel. 14:34 And I enjoy it, and we see the Lord at work. 14:38 We see people being baptized. 14:40 We have had many baptisms this year, and the Lord is doing 14:44 miracles again in this land. 14:46 You know, it is amazing because for so many years, 14:49 folks, we had no baptisms to speak of in that particular 14:54 field. And then it began to grow. 14:56 I can remember when there were fewer than 100. 14:59 I think around 50 Adventists in the whole country of Israel. 15:02 And then it got up over 1,000. 15:05 It's bounced back a little because some of the people 15:07 had to leave the country. 15:10 They didn't have to but Romania opened back up for them. 15:15 They had come from Romania 15:16 and they decided so many of the Romanian Adventists 15:19 to go back, but it's still strong and it's growing. 15:23 You know, the Spirit of Prophecy tells us before the Lord returns 15:28 there's going to be a mighty work with God's chosen people 15:33 the Jewish people. That the message - our three angel's 15:36 message - is going to go forward with power to those people. 15:40 And we believe that with all of our hearts. 15:42 I was sharing with the board today that an evangelical 15:46 leader shared with a friend of mine not long ago. 15:48 He said to this friend - 15:51 and if I told you who this man was many of you would know 15:54 who he is - he said: "I believe 15:58 that the Seventh-day Adventists are those to take Jesus Christ 16:04 to the Jews. " 16:05 He said: "Let me tell you why I believe that. " 16:08 He said: "I'm a Sunday-keeping, pork eating Baptist. " 16:14 He said: "You are Sabbath keeping, 16:18 Leviticus 11 believing Seventh-day Adventists. 16:22 Now, " he said, "which do you think 16:24 would have the best opportunity to share with the Jews? " 16:30 He said: "More and more evangelicals are coming to the 16:32 place where they believe that the Seventh-day Adventists 16:36 are the ones to reach out and with the Messiah 16:41 message - the message of Jesus - not watering it down at all 16:45 to reach out to the Jewish people. " 16:48 Now you know we're reaching out to the world at 3ABN 16:51 and we certainly want all of the world including the Jewish 16:55 people to be a part of that. 16:57 Just to support this this last winter 16:59 eight time we had bigger groups of Jews 17:03 stopping by our church. Yes. They made appointments 17:06 because they wanted to hear about our faith, 17:09 our beliefs. So we had groups of between 20 and 60 every time. 17:15 And they stopped by. They had about an hour 17:18 where we were able to share our beliefs. 17:21 And you know what? They stopped by; they asked 17:24 for literature; they asked for all sorts of information. 17:28 "Can we sign up? And is it possible for us to attend? " 17:32 Yeah. And now during Sukkot, during the Feast of Tabernacles, 17:37 we were blowing our trumpets, our shofars - sure - 17:40 in the church. Sure. And so people stopped by 17:43 and they came in to look what's going on 17:45 because they thought it's a Jewish synagogue. 17:48 And then, you know, they came in and they stopped 17:51 and they looked and they waved at us 17:53 and continued to their own synagogue. Yes. 17:56 So you know... it's great being there. 17:59 Well, it's an exciting thing. We're going to be there. 18:01 In November we're going over. 18:03 And a lot of you are going with us. Over 150 people 18:07 have said they are going to be with us on that trip. 18:10 And you're going to be with us in the Valley of Elah. Yeah. 18:14 Bera kaval Israel: you are all welcome, please come. 18:18 All right. And we're going to be proclaiming 18:21 at that point a new surge of preaching this gospel 18:27 around the world through television and radio 18:31 and any means that we can 18:33 to reach the lost for Jesus Christ. 18:36 We're looking forward to that. Pray for us and please continue 18:40 to support 3ABN because this ministry is moving forward. 18:45 Danny said to me the other day, he said: "You know, there were 18:48 unbelievable miracles when this ministry began. " 18:52 But he said: "Jim, there are greater miracles happening 18:55 in this ministry now than we have ever seen 18:59 even in the beginning. " God is on His throne 19:04 and He is not going to get weaker as the time... 19:08 As we near the end of time I believe that our Lord 19:12 and the power of the Spirit 19:14 is going to be poured out even greater. 19:16 Thank you so much for being with us. Thank you, Jim. 19:19 And we are so happy that you can be here. 19:21 We did a program today which we'll show one of these days 19:25 soon with Pastor Roger. 19:28 And we're talking more about specifics about the work 19:33 that they're involved with there. 19:34 Well you know, tonight we've got some great music 19:37 planned for you. And Yvonne Lewis 19:40 is going to come and sing for us In Christ Alone. 19:49 How many of you know that no matter what you're going 19:52 through you can depend on Christ to bring you through everything? 19:58 Can I get a witness? 19:59 Absolutely. In Christ alone we must put 20:03 our trust, our faith, our hope, our deepest secrets. 20:09 In Christ alone because He alone can make all the difference. 20:31 In Christ alone my hope is found. 20:37 He is my light, my strength, my song. 20:41 This Cornerstone, the solid ground, 20:47 firm through the fiercest drought and storm. 20:52 What heights of love, what depths of peace 20:57 When fears are stilled and strivings cease. 21:02 My Comforter, my All in All, 21:08 here in the love of Christ I stand. 21:20 In Christ alone 21:23 who took on flesh 21:26 fullness of God in helpless babe. 21:31 This gift of love and righteousness 21:36 scorned by the ones He came to save. 21:41 'Til on that cross as Jesus died 21:47 the wrath of God was satisfied. 21:52 For every sin on Him was laid. 21:57 Here in the death of Christ 22:00 I live. 22:21 Oh, there in the ground 22:26 His body lay 22:29 Light of the world by darkness slain. 22:33 Then bursting forth in glorious day 22:39 up from the grave He rose again. 22:44 And as He stands in victory 22:49 sin's curse has lost it's grip on me. 22:55 For I am His and He is mine 23:00 bought with the precious blood of Christ. 23:13 No guilt in life, 23:15 no fear in death, 23:18 this is the power of Christ in me. 23:23 From life's first cry to final breath 23:28 Jesus commands my destiny. 23:33 No power of hell, 23:36 no scheme of man 23:39 Can ever pluck me 23:42 from His hand. 23:47 Till He returns to take me home 23:52 here in the power of Christ I'll stand. 23:57 No power of hell, 24:00 no scheme of man 24:02 Can ever pluck me 24:05 from His hand. 24:12 Here in the power 24:16 of Christ 24:21 I'll stand. 24:37 In Christ alone. What better message to begin 24:39 our Camp Meeting with? Amen? Amen! 24:41 You know it's always encouraging when we can reach 24:43 out and let people know that the whole foundation 24:45 of what we do is about Jesus first and last and best. 24:51 But I know there's someone here tonight that 24:53 is on a journey, someone tonight is still trying to find 24:56 his or her way back to Christ. 24:59 I want to encourage you with this song. It's very short. 25:01 It's entitled All of Me. The secret of joy 25:04 and the secret of satisfaction in the Christian journey 25:07 is to give one's self completely and without reservation. 25:12 Give ourselves - all of us - to Christ 25:15 and then our joy and our blessings begin. 25:18 Tonight as the song encourages you 25:21 simply say: "Lord, take all of me; I surrender all. " 25:33 Holy Father, 25:35 love me still. 25:39 I have fallen from Your will. 25:46 I am broken, 25:49 hear my humble cry... 25:55 my cry: 25:59 Take my life 26:02 and make it Yours, Lord. 26:07 Fill me with Your love. 26:12 You are all I need... 26:18 I surrender all of me. 26:30 I have wandered for so long 26:37 tired and weary on my own. 26:43 Yet in Your arms I know I'm home. 26:49 Oh God, my God... 26:56 So take my life 26:59 and make it Yours, Lord. 27:04 Fill me with Your love. 27:09 You are all I need... 27:15 I surrender all of me. 27:23 Take my life 27:26 and make it Yours, Lord. 27:30 Fill me with Your love. 27:36 You are all I need... 27:44 I surrender... 27:48 yes I surrender... 27:51 yes I 27:53 surrender 27:56 all 28:00 of me. 28:12 Amen. 28:19 Thank you, John. That was beautiful. 28:20 We have some special guests with us: 28:22 Kateena LeForge... and where did Joe go? 28:26 Joe, come out here. 28:28 I don't know. Come on out here. 28:30 Joe said: "What do you need me out here for? " 28:31 She needs you. This is Kateena's husband Joe. 28:35 How many of you know Kateena and Joe? 28:37 It's been a while. Several of you do. 28:39 All right. It's been a while. 28:40 It's been a while since you've been here at our Camp Meetings. 28:42 And Joe, when did you guys first start coming here? 28:47 About 10 years ago at least. Ten years ago? 28:49 No I started coming here 20 years ago. 28:52 Twenty years ago. Yeah. 28:53 But during the past 10 years doing a lot of traveling 28:56 and a lot of singing. These are some of the greatest people 29:00 that you'll ever want to meet. They are happy people. 29:03 They're happy in the Lord. Don't you like to be around 29:05 people who are happy in the Lord? Amen. 29:07 This guy, I know you can't tell by looking, but he's 29:09 one of the smartest people I've ever met, too. 29:11 No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. 29:14 Of course I'm just kidding. Of course. 29:17 But no... Joe is an incredible person 29:20 and he's got a great mind. He's one of these people 29:24 when Joe talks we listen. 29:25 And we haven't always... but we learned to do that. 29:29 But honestly, I just wanted the folks to meet Joe because 29:32 they've been seeing Kateena for years. He's a little camera shy. 29:35 Now you run sound, though, don't you? For her? 29:38 Yes I do. But you don't sing yet? No, I don't sing. 29:40 Not yet... not ever. No I don't... You don't? OK. 29:43 All right. I introduced you one time years ago. 29:46 Where was that? Well, we were I think here but Walla Walla, 29:50 Washington also - yeah - you brought me out. 29:52 He's doing much better this time. That was the worst... 29:55 Much better this time. Think he's doing much better? Yeah. 29:56 He got dry and he couldn't talk. 29:58 He didn't know he was coming out and it was a huge audience 30:01 and it was live. And you know what I heard more than anything 30:03 after that? Bless your heart. 30:06 People said: " Bless your heart. " 30:08 No, you did a good job. 30:09 I said: "This is just a pre- cursor; this is the beginning. 30:11 The Lord has something big for you. " 30:13 And I really think He does. 30:15 I think that you have a lot to offer people. 30:17 So thank you for coming tonight. 30:19 Thank you for sharing the love of your life - 30:21 any time - Kateena. And Kateena, what are you 30:22 going to be singing for us. I'm going to sing 30:24 Fairest Lord Jesus. All right. Thank you. 31:22 Beautiful Savior, 31:28 Lord of the nations: 31:35 Son of God 31:40 and 31:41 Son of Man. 31:48 Glory and honor, 31:54 praise, adoration 32:00 now and forever more 32:07 be Thine. 32:22 I'd rather 32:26 have Jesus 32:30 than silver or gold, 32:36 I'd rather be His 32:40 than have riches untold; 32:46 I'd rather have Jesus 32:52 than houses or land, 32:58 I'd rather be led 33:03 by His nail-pierced 33:08 hand. 33:13 I'd rather have Jesus 33:18 than men's applause, 33:23 I'd rather be faithful 33:28 to His dear cause; 33:33 I'd rather have Jesus 33:38 than worldwide fame, 33:43 I'd rather be true 33:47 to His holy name: 33:54 Than to be the king 34:00 of a vast domain 34:04 Or be held in sin's 34:09 dread sway! 34:18 I'd rather have 34:23 Jesus 34:26 than anything 34:32 This world 34:35 affords 34:39 today. 34:45 Can you say "Amen? " Amen! Amen. 34:55 I like this song because it is drawn from 35:00 counsel given by Ellen White to a distraught mother. 35:04 I think it's found in the 2nd vol. of the Testimonies 35:08 page 318. The woman has been ill for an awful long time 35:12 and she was beginning to buy into the notion 35:16 that her illness was coming from God because of His displeasure 35:20 with her. Friends were telling her that. 35:23 The devil was whispering that in her ear 35:25 and she was beginning to pick up that and carry it her life. 35:30 And so Ellen White was shown her case and wrote her a very 35:33 specific letter, and she said a number of things. 35:35 She said: "Number one, don't believe your friends... 35:41 believe God. " Yes. 35:44 "Two: take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. 35:50 Don't pick them up and carry them again... 35:54 Drop them and leave them with Jesus. " 35:57 Amen? "Three: trust God. 36:03 God can do a better job running your life than you can. 36:07 So trust Him even in the face of evidence 36:11 that doesn't look like He's trustworthy. Trust Him! 36:13 Just trust Him. Four: speak positive. " 36:18 Amen! When folk ask you how you're doing, 36:21 don't drag up every ache, pain, itch, glitch, wish. 36:25 Just speak positive... speak joy into your life. 36:29 She says: "By taking your problems to yourself 36:32 you are putting yourself in prison. 36:37 You need to get out of prison. 36:39 You need to come to the Lord and go free. " 36:43 Amen. 36:45 Then the last thing she said - one of the most powerful 36:47 statements I've ever read - she said: 36:50 "Believe in Jesus. 36:52 If you cannot believe in Jesus, 36:55 we will believe Jesus for you. 36:58 God accepts our faith in your behalf. " 37:05 Powerful. 37:07 "God accepts our faith in your behalf. " 37:09 So that says to me: 'Mother with wayward child: 37:12 God accepts your faith. " 37:15 "Husband with wayward wife... wife with wayward husband: 37:19 friend, family member that you want to see in 37:23 the kingdom of God: keep on praying. 37:27 God hears your prayers... 37:29 accepts your faith in their behalf. " 37:32 Amen? So just come to the Lord 37:36 and go free. 37:50 Troubled soul, 37:54 why are you sad and downhearted? 37:59 Don't you know 38:03 He doesn't care where you started. 38:09 Yesterday can't change tomorrow 38:15 so leave behind all your sorrow. 38:20 Go free... go free... 38:25 in the name of Jesus go free. 38:31 Child of God, 38:34 child adored... 38:38 come to the Lord and go free. 38:51 Trembling soul, 38:55 I know you're so tired of aching. 39:00 Don't you know 39:04 Jesus has cures for the taking? 39:10 His hand of mercy and healing 39:15 can untie the hurt that you're feeling. 39:21 Go free... go free... 39:26 in the name of Jesus go free. 39:32 Child of God, 39:35 child adored... 39:39 come to the Lord and go free. 39:52 Trembling soul, 39:56 I know you're so tired of fighting. 40:01 Don't you know 40:05 He sees the wounds you've been hiding. 40:11 The battle that's raging is so strong 40:16 and you've been a captive for too long. 40:23 Go free... oh, ya gotta go free... 40:29 in the name of Jesus go free. 40:34 Child of God, 40:37 child adored... 40:41 Come to the Lord 40:46 and go free. 40:49 In the name of Jesus go free. 40:55 Child of God, 40:57 child adored... 41:02 come to the Lord 41:06 and go free. 41:09 Go free... 41:12 go free. 41:16 Now go free. 41:26 Amen. 41:29 Thank you my pastor. 41:30 Pastor C.A. was my pastor... now I'm his. 41:32 I'm paying him back for all the sermons he preached to me 41:34 when I was growing up. 41:36 But you know - praise the Lord - what a wonderful message: 41:39 "Go free. " You know, we talked about 41:41 gifted musicians. There's a difference between a musician 41:44 and a person that has a spiritual gift. 41:47 Lisa is a person with musical skills but it has been 41:52 anointed and surrendered to Christ 41:54 and now is a spiritual gift. 41:57 And she's a part of our fellow- ship. Her husband, John Yeager, 42:00 has come on board with them. They've been a part of our 42:02 fellowship for a number of years now. We love her. 42:05 She leads our praise team also. 42:08 But she's going to bless us with a song that is fitting 42:10 for the time in which we live. 42:11 Soon Jesus is going to come, and she's going to remind us of that 42:16 with the wonderful song The Midnight Cry. 47:08 On a hill far away 47:14 stood an old rugged cross, 47:19 The emblem of suffering 47:24 and shame; 47:28 And how I love that old cross 47:33 where the dearest and best 47:38 for a world of lost sinners 47:43 was slain. 47:47 So I'll cherish the old rugged 47:53 cross, 47:57 Till my trophies at last 48:01 I lay down; 48:06 I will cling 48:10 to the old rugged cross, 48:16 And exchange it 48:19 some day 48:21 for a crown. 48:30 To the old rugged cross 48:35 I will ever be true, 48:40 Its shame and reproach 48:44 gladly bear; 48:49 Then He'll call me some day 48:54 to my home far away, 48:59 Where His glory 49:02 forever 49:06 I'll share. 49:14 So I'll cherish 49:18 the old rugged cross, 49:23 Till my trophies 49:27 at last I lay down; 49:33 I will cling 49:36 to the old rugged cross, 49:42 And exchange it some day 49:47 for a crown... 49:54 And exchange it 49:59 some day 50:02 for a crown. 50:13 Ooo-ooo. 50:24 Amen! Beautiful! 50:27 Thank you, Kateena. Beautiful. 50:30 Well, there's some great advantages 50:33 to not having to be the boss. I did that for 24 years. 50:36 One is that Jim gets a lot more of the responsibility 50:39 and has to worry more about day-to-day operation. 50:42 The bad part is: he can tell me what to do now. 50:45 So he said: "I want you to sing. " 50:47 And I said: "I'm not really prepared. I came early; 50:50 I don't really have much voice. " 50:51 He said: "I really want you to sing. " 50:52 So I'm going to try to do that. The crew doesn't know it 50:55 but it's "All My Praise... " 50:56 just a little song that the Lord gave me a few years ago. 51:01 And it's a blessing to me because it's just a picture 51:04 of who we are and we bring ourselves to the Lord 51:07 and say: "Lord, we really don't have anything to offer You. 51:10 All we can offer You is our praise. " 51:27 All my praise, 51:30 I give You all my praise. 51:39 That's all I have 51:43 to offer You. 51:49 I now build a sanctuary 51:55 so deep within my heart 52:00 oh and all my praise 52:04 I offer up to You. 52:13 I love You, Lord, 52:17 oh how I love You, Lord. 52:25 I bare my heart 52:29 and soul to You. 52:35 I'm an empty, broken vessel 52:41 filled with hurt and pain inside 52:46 still I offer up 52:50 all my praise to You. 52:59 Fill me, Lord, 53:03 oh please fill me, Lord. 53:11 With Your Holy Spirit 53:15 fill me now. 53:22 For I long for Your anointing 53:27 that I may work for You. 53:33 Fill me, Lord, 53:36 touch me, Lord, just now. 53:45 All my praise, 53:49 I give You all my praise. 53:57 That's all I have 54:02 to offer You. 54:08 I now build a sanctuary 54:13 so deep within my heart 54:19 and all my praise 54:23 I offer up to You. 54:30 Oh, and all my praise 54:35 I offer up 54:37 to You. |
