00:15 Holy temple
00:18 The Lord is in His holy temple 00:25 Let all the earth keep silence 00:33 Let all the earth 00:37 Keep silence 00:40 Before Him 00:48 Keep silence 00:56 Before Him 01:06 Amen 01:17 Happy Sabbath GYC. Happy Sabbath. 01:21 I had the privilege to travel to Pretoria, South Africa 01:25 in July 2013 for the World Conference 01:28 on Youth and Community Services. 01:30 It is organized by the General Conference Youth Department 01:33 and hosted by the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean, 01:35 which is my home division. 01:37 And our world youth director Gilbert Cangy 01:41 was gracious enough to invite GYC to organize 01:44 and help plan the Sabbath outreach for the Congress. 01:47 And so it was an interesting project for us. 01:49 The logistics were interesting, but it's such a blessing to get 01:54 to the Sabbath day and to see 45 buses 01:57 and to have young people getting on those buses 01:59 and have 20,000 copies of the Great Controversy 02:03 to pass on to the community. 02:05 And one story that really touched me, 02:08 there was a young person who came up to me 02:10 just when we had finished loading the bus 02:12 and I was standing in the bus loading area as the last bus 02:15 put out of the lot and he runs up to me and says, 02:18 "Do you have, where's the bus, where's the bus." 02:21 And I had to say to him, "the last bus just left." 02:24 And you could see his face fall. 02:26 Then he turns to me and says, "Okay, do you have books. 02:30 Do you have any books?" 02:31 And we had the one last box of the Great Controversy, 02:33 I gave the box to him, and he goes out on the street 02:36 and starts passing out the books. 02:39 Then he comes back to me and says, 02:40 "do you have more books." 02:43 And I said, "That was my last box unfortunately." 02:46 And he says, "I want to go back home and pass out these books. 02:49 And I was so- it was exciting to have the 45 buses. 02:53 It was exciting to have 20,000 copies 02:55 of the books out in the community. 02:57 The most exciting thing for me 02:59 was to see young people get on those buses 03:01 and come back and say, "I want to do this at home." 03:04 And we can do that too, amen. 03:07 Now Chantal has some exciting mission up based for us. 03:09 Chantal, how old are you? 03:11 You don't mind me asking. I am 17. 03:13 Seventeen years old, okay, go ahead. 03:15 Good morning, GYC. Are you excited to be here? 03:20 We have some exciting news of GYC intermissions 03:22 that took place last summer. 03:24 And the first one was to Allentown, Pennsylvania, 03:27 and Joanne here was there. 03:29 And by God's grace a 197 Bible requests were made. 03:33 Can we say amen? 03:34 Here in North America something is happening, 03:37 so, Joanne, please share with us a testimony from there. 03:41 Now the experience in Pennsylvania was amazing. 03:44 Lots of people were impacted, but an amazing story happened 03:47 right after the mission. 03:49 One of the missionaries who came, 03:50 a nurse from Massachusetts. 03:51 She went back to her hometown so moved by her experience 03:55 that she approached her pastor she said, 03:57 "I want to do this here, 03:59 I want to do this with our church, 04:00 I want to go out because I know there is a need." 04:04 The pastor was so excited that she was so enthusiastic, 04:07 they paired together, they started training 04:09 and they started ministering their church going door to door 04:11 and doing outreach and everyone is so excited 04:14 that the passion is within their church. 04:17 Amen. 04:18 Can you say amen? Amen. 04:20 We had another mission to Manitoulin 04:22 which took place in August and James here was there. 04:26 Can you tell us why did you go? 04:28 Well, when I first heard about the number of Adventists 04:31 on the island, I was excited. 04:33 And what is the number? Just one. 04:34 Just one on the whole island. 04:37 And so I was very interested in going on the mission trip 04:40 and I remember Jesus saying 04:41 that the harvest is truly plentiful, 04:44 but the laborers are few. 04:46 And once I've realized that I said, you know what, 04:49 I cannot just sit here comfortable. 04:51 I have to go, even if it's in North America. 04:54 Amen. 04:56 And so what were the conditions? 04:58 It was so exotic. 05:03 I'm playing, I'm super playing. 05:04 We got there and it was like a jungle. 05:06 I mean, the grass was up to my waist. 05:08 The guy gave me a lawnmower. 05:09 I'm like you want me to mow this 05:11 with the push mower. 05:13 He is like, yeah. 05:14 So I mowed and then we slept in tents. 05:16 You know, I'm used to sleeping in houses. 05:18 We slept in tents, but it was intense 05:21 but at the same time it was a blessing 05:24 because we were all doing it together, amen. 05:26 Yes. 05:27 And this was in North America. Now last but not least. 05:31 Tell us about the health expo that took place? 05:33 Oh, man, the health expo was super exciting 05:37 and it was a blessing. 05:38 I believe that the people were very intrigued 05:41 at the diversity they saw and also at the very fact 05:44 that we came from all different types of places 05:47 and we were working together. 05:48 We weren't just about preaching and praying, 05:50 but we were also making an impact on the community 05:52 and they were extremely blessed by seeing our faces. 05:54 Thank you. Ken also was at the same mission. 05:57 And, Ken, can you tell us what you did? 06:00 Well, I helped with the health expo also 06:03 but we did canvassing first. 06:05 Canvassing, did you hear that? 06:07 Tell us a story from your canvassing experience? 06:11 Well, it was probably, 06:13 I think third or fourth day we went canvassing 06:15 and we were having a pretty rough day. 06:19 I was out with James here, 06:21 we weren't selling a whole lot of books. 06:24 It was just kind of, it was very rough 06:26 and I was just praying that we would get something, 06:30 just the Lord would show us something 06:32 and it was getting later in the day 06:35 and we come up to this one house. 06:39 And there is this young lady sitting on the stairs 06:43 and she is just sitting there, she's kind of like crying 06:47 and smoking cigarette and we get up little closer 06:50 and we know that she's got green hair and... 06:54 so we got to her and ask her how she's going and she says, 06:57 she is having a pretty bad day. 07:00 And so we say that we are Christian 07:04 and we just like to pray with her if that would be okay. 07:08 And she agreed, she said yes, that would be great. 07:13 And so we prayed with her and then James starts going 07:18 through the canvass with the books 07:21 and I was just thinking, 07:23 this young lady doesn't have any money. 07:25 I mean, we do give like the Great Controversy away 07:29 on occasion, 07:30 but she is not going to have enough money 07:32 to buy any of the other books. 07:33 But after James was done with the canvass, she says, 07:38 oh this great, I just got paid today 07:40 and she like pulled out a amount of cash, 07:43 so not only we were able to leave 07:45 Great Controversy with her, 07:46 but we were able to leave Steps to Christ with her. 07:49 And then as we left, we were going up the path, 07:54 as soon as we were leaving 07:56 the van pulled up to pick us up for lunch. 07:59 So if that van would have came just a few minute sooner, 08:02 we'd have never met this young lady 08:04 and being able to pray with her and leave those books with her. 08:07 Amen. Friends, what is your excuse. 08:11 Why are we still sitting here? Why are we still on this earth? 08:15 I see a room full of people, 08:18 people that are capable of doing than more we did, 08:22 people that are capable of finishing the work. 08:24 You see, mission is not about the intermissions 08:27 that GYC hold for two weeks every summer. 08:30 Mission must take place everywhere and all the time. 08:34 On Wednesday Justin McNeilus shared with us 08:36 that GYC is radical commitment to him. 08:41 Are you radically committed to him? 08:43 Are you radically committed to him, GYC? 08:46 Amen. 08:47 I only heard the front of the rows. 08:50 Are we radically committed to God? 08:52 Amen. 08:53 If we are radically committed to God, 08:55 mission must take place wherever we are, amen. 09:00 Ken was able to give out 09:01 Great Controversy's day after day. 09:04 Next year at GYC 09:05 we need to hear more people coming up and sharing with us 09:09 that they too have been taking up the call 09:11 and that mission work has been taking place, amen. 09:15 Thank you. 09:22 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. 09:26 Hallelujah. Maranatha. 09:31 Are you here today to receive a blessing? 09:34 How many of you are here today to be a blessing, amen. 09:39 Is our God worthy to be praised? 09:42 Then let's worship Him in sprit and in truth. 09:47 If we still commit sin, He is not our savior. 09:50 Is He our savior, then He is able to save us from sin. 09:56 Is He our Lord? 09:59 Let summit to Him. 10:02 If we do not summit to Him, He is not our Lord. 10:04 But if He is our Lord, 10:05 we will follow Him, He is our master. 10:10 This Sabbath day is the day of great celebration. 10:14 It's a memorial day, for the Lord Himself 10:17 keep the Sabbath, amen. 10:19 We remember creation. We remember redemption. 10:23 We remember the great exaltation 10:25 of the angels in heaven as described in scripture. 10:28 They exalt him today. Do we exalt him today? 10:33 We remember His salvation, 10:36 sanctification and glorification, things 10:39 we can remember and things we can look forward to. 10:42 I remember as I had the privilege to serve 10:45 as the missionary in the Arctic Circle. 10:47 We read scripture and we saw that 10:49 Sabbath is from sun dawn to sun dawn, 10:51 but in the Arctic there was no sun dawn. 10:55 There were challenges we had as Sabbath keepers 10:57 as we look forward to keep the Sabbath. 11:02 But we were happy to have a world church 11:04 that is connected that keeps the Sabbath, amen. 11:07 And God showed us a way to keep it. 11:09 I had the opportunity to work with young people 11:12 and very young children, they were adopted. 11:14 It's a custom there to be adopted 11:16 when the family is not able to take care of the children, 11:18 they give them to adoption to their relatives. 11:21 And so the relatives they take care of the children. 11:24 And one day they asked me, 11:25 "Erwin, tell us about you family?" 11:26 And I told them I have parents, I have a sister. 11:28 The said, "What, you are not adopted." 11:31 Look at Erwin, he is not even adopted yet. 11:35 But I was happy to tell them 11:36 that our adoption is of the Heavenly Father. 11:40 There is a Heavenly Father that takes care of us. 11:43 He is our Father, He is our Lord, 11:44 He is our Savior. 11:46 And in 1 Timothy 3:14 to 16, Paul is writing a letter 11:51 and the purpose of his letter describes it very clearly that 11:54 he considers the church as the family, 11:56 as the house of God. 11:58 In fact his language also has some architectural 12:01 implications there as the pillar of truth, 12:03 I want to read it to you, it says, 12:05 "These things write I unto thee, 12:06 hoping to come unto thee shortly. 12:08 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know 12:11 how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God 12:14 which is the church of the living God, 12:17 the pillar and ground of truth." 12:20 And then the beautiful hymn, "And without controversy great 12:23 is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh, 12:27 justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, 12:33 preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, 12:38 received up into glory." 12:41 Let's worship the Lord. 12:43 Are you here to receive a blessing? 12:45 Are you here to be a blessing? 12:47 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. 12:50 Hallelujah, amen, 12:52 Maranatha, amen. 12:57 We have the privilege this morning 12:59 to read God's word together at GYC, 13:01 so please turn with me to Acts Chapter 17. 13:08 And our scripture reading will be found 13:09 in verses 24 to the beginning of verse 28, 13:13 Acts 17 verses 24 to the beginning of verse 28. 13:18 And the Bible says, 13:20 "God, who made the world and everything in it, 13:24 since He is the Lord of heaven and earth, 13:27 does not dwell in temples made with hands. 13:30 Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, 13:32 as though He needed anything, 13:34 since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. 13:38 And He has made from one blood 13:41 every nation of men to dwell on the face of the earth, 13:44 and has determined their pre-appointed times 13:47 and the boundaries of their dwellings, 13:49 so that they should seek the Lord, 13:51 in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, 13:55 though He is not far from each one of us, 13:58 for in Him we live and move and have our being." 14:02 May the Lord add a blessing to the reading of His word? 14:28 God of our fathers 14:32 Whose almighty hand 14:37 Leads forth in beauty 14:41 All the starry band 14:46 Of shining worlds 14:50 In splendor through the skies 14:55 Our grateful songs 15:00 Before Thy throne arise 15:10 Thy love divine 15:14 Hath led us in the past 15:20 In this free land 15:24 By Thee our lot is cast 15:29 Be Thou our ruler 15:34 Guardian, guide, and stay 15:39 Thy word our law 15:44 Thy paths our chosen way 15:54 From war's alarms 15:59 From deadly pestilence 16:04 Be Thy strong arm 16:08 Our ever sure defense 16:14 Thy true religion 16:18 In our hearts increase 16:24 Thy bounteous goodness 16:29 Nourish us in peace 16:38 Refresh Thy people 16:43 On their toilsome way 16:48 Lead us from night 16:52 To never-ending day 16:58 Fill all our lives 17:02 With love and grace divine 17:08 And glory, laud 17:12 And praise be ever Thine 17:45 Happy Sabbath, GYC. 17:48 It's good to see you all once again. 17:50 And I'm very excited to be here 17:52 with my new friend Susan, with Natasha. 17:56 And I want to ask a question 17:58 that has been on my mind for a long time 18:01 but I've never been able to ask someone. 18:04 When I first came to GYC 18:06 I was so excited about the conference. 18:08 I came in '07 for the first time 18:10 and it had a drastic influence on my life. 18:13 I remember going for the first time 18:14 and seeing a group of young people 18:15 who are committed to the gospel willing to give everything. 18:21 And so I decided to give my life to Christ as well 18:23 and it played a drastic role in that. 18:25 But then after a while I wondered 18:26 what is the value of GYC. 18:28 Has anybody ever wondered that if they are honest? 18:30 What is the value of coming to GYC? 18:33 And so I started to think 18:34 and I even started to talk to other people. 18:35 Maybe GYC is just a place to give people a platform. 18:38 Maybe these are just power hungry people 18:41 who just want a place to speak. 18:43 And this was my thoughts, I was wondering 18:45 why are we wasting all of this money. 18:47 You guys have spend so much to come. 18:48 We spend so much to make this happen. 18:52 But after being involved with GYC, 18:53 I've started to have a different picture, 18:55 but I want to ask Natasha this morning 18:56 is that you've been involved with GYC for a long time now. 19:01 And what is it that has caused you to be involved for so long 19:04 and why are you continuing to be involved? 19:05 What is GYC to every person here? 19:08 I'll tell you, Taylor, the reason why 19:10 I love GYC is just exactly what you said 19:12 because it's not just this conference. 19:14 As much as I love coming here 19:16 and attending just this conference, 19:17 I tell you I go home back to my home church 19:21 and the town that my home church is in 19:22 it's just a little tiny like has a population 19:25 about 150 barely even a town, right called Pitone 19:28 and there in my young home church, 19:30 the young people have been changed, 19:32 and they're acting out and going out into the streets 19:34 and working, you know, going door and door saying to people. 19:37 I went to Charleston, West Virginia 19:39 and there the young people were going door to door 19:41 reaching out and Bible studies were just flocking and. 19:44 I go over to Europe to learn and I see young people there 19:48 they're just on fire going out 19:51 and flying at the continent of Europe for Jesus Christ. 19:54 I went this summer to Kisangani 19:56 in Democratic Republic of Congo, 19:58 the town took us like three days 20:00 to get out there out in the middle 20:02 and there were planes barely get back there 20:04 and when we were there in the streets of Kisangani 20:06 people came up to my brothers and I and they're like, 20:08 "You're with GYC, can you do a week of prayer, 20:10 we want young people here to get the same thing. 20:12 The reason is why I am involved in GYC 20:13 is because it's a network of young people 20:15 that are actually on fire and changing the world, 20:19 it changes the world and that's why I'm excited, 20:21 that's why I am here. 20:23 You know, we actually have an example of that 20:25 here with Susan. 20:26 Susan, when, how did you hear about GYC? 20:29 I first heard about GYC watching 3ABN back in Dubai 20:34 and it was a prerecorded message 20:37 and that's how I came to hear about GYC. 20:38 Now you heard about GYC on 3ABN in Dubai 20:42 and then what happened? 20:44 After I heard about GYC while watching 3ABN 20:47 there was a contact information and that was www.gycweb.org. 20:51 And I checked it out 20:52 and about six months later I was in Houston. 20:56 You were in Houston, so you watched 3ABN, 20:58 you came to Houston. 21:00 Now what impact did GYC have on your life 21:03 when you came to the conference in Houston? 21:05 When I came to the conference in Houston, 21:07 that was basically my first GYC so I was tentative within, 21:11 but we were given a booklet that was called Ten Days 21:15 in the Upper Room, I think by Mark Finley. 21:17 And we had sessions to do morning devotions 21:20 and I think I started reading this book 21:22 and taking time to have a devoted time 21:24 and I think it just impacted my devotion life after that, 21:28 I started reading more. 21:30 So you started reading more, you started 21:31 having devotional life for the first time. 21:33 Now, when you went back to Dubai, 21:35 did you just go back to life as normal 21:37 or did something changed? 21:39 Actually something did change. 21:43 There was a session I think of Panel for ECOM 21:45 just before we left 21:46 and somebody from the audience asked, 21:49 how can we help GYC and I think 21:50 it was Justin McNeilus who said you can go 21:53 and help GYC by being active in your local church. 21:57 And there was- there was sheets of paper on our seats 22:02 about Conflict of the Ages series 22:05 which I had not heard until then. 22:07 But it was a guide to help you read the Bible side by side. 22:11 And so when I went back to a local church, 22:13 I took that with me and started reading 22:15 and along with other young people in my church. 22:18 So how many of you were at Houston GYC? 22:20 Is there anyone else who is here? 22:21 Now do you guys remember all those Conflict of the Ages 22:24 series little pamphlet cards that were on your seats. 22:27 Does anybody remember those? 22:29 Now, how many of you just went home 22:30 and threw those away? 22:32 Now it's interesting, Susan finds this 22:35 and what we take advantage of here in America 22:38 Susan from Dubai, she hadn't even heard 22:41 of the Conflict of the Ages series before. 22:43 Now does that blow anyone else's mind? 22:45 She didn't even know 22:46 what the Conflict of the Ages series was. 22:48 So she hears about it for the first time at GYC, 22:51 she goes back to her church and you just start reading it 22:54 by yourself or what happens? 22:57 I talk to a couple of other friends 23:00 and we came up with eight people 23:01 who are interested in doing the study 23:04 and we photocopied this papers and read together, 23:10 but above that we started asking members of our church 23:13 to read together with us. 23:15 And out of that our literature evangelism club 23:18 came up just the eight of us. 23:21 So she didn't just go back and sit in her closet 23:24 inside of her room and read the Great Controversy 23:26 and other things like that with no one else knowing, 23:28 but she caused other people to do the same thing. 23:31 Now, you have a very interesting job 23:34 that not everybody in this audience has. 23:36 Tell us about your job and how that's helped 23:38 with your Literature Ministries Ministry? 23:40 I don't know if it's interesting 23:42 but I'm a flight attendant back in Dubai, based in Dubai, 23:46 and being a flight attendant 23:48 I'm able to meet a lot of people everyday. 23:50 But apart from being able to just share that, 23:53 here in America you guys have a lot of Adventist book stores. 23:58 In Dubai and most parts of the Middle East 24:00 we do not have that. 24:01 And so we can't buy Adventist literature 24:04 or material in Dubai 24:05 or different parts of the Middle East. 24:07 So what I do as a flight attendant 24:08 as when I come on to work 24:10 maybe if I have a layover in Washington D.C. 24:13 I would visit the Adventist book mart, ABC store 24:17 and I'd buy literature and take it back to Dubai, 24:19 because we have orders within our church 24:21 for the club that I work for. 24:23 So because of her job she is able to buy hundreds of books. 24:27 Hundreds. 24:28 And how many books have you given out so far? 24:30 I think in a period of two years 24:32 we're looking about 3,000 books and above. 24:35 About 3,000 books 24:39 and now it's not just any books right, 24:41 you said, you'd never heard 24:43 of the Conflict of the Ages series before 24:46 and now she has delivered over 700 of those series 24:48 back to the Middle East to people 24:50 who hadn't heard of it either. 24:52 What blows my mind is no one told Susan to do this, right. 24:56 No one at GYC got up and made an appeal and said 24:58 you've to go back to your church, 25:00 start this sort of ministry, but it was natural experience 25:03 that came from reading the books 25:05 and by reading the books it impacted her life so much 25:08 that she had to share with other people. 25:10 Now I want to talk to us 25:12 because here we're in America, not all of us are Americans 25:15 and some of us can praise the Lord for that, 25:17 I'm American so I can't praise the Lord for that. 25:19 But America, we have so many blessings, right. 25:22 And I mean it's a mixed blessing. 25:24 Here's the mixed blessing is we're so blessed 25:26 that we don't even realize it 25:28 because we have Conflict of the Ages series 25:32 multiplied on our shelves 25:33 but yet how many of us have actually read it before. 25:38 And then if we've read them before how many of us 25:40 are so interested in sharing it with other people 25:43 that we'd devote a large amount of our time to it. 25:46 You know, it was by Literature Ministries 25:47 being revived in the Middle East 25:49 that it started a revolution 25:51 and now people are starting to read it all over the place. 25:54 And I wonder if we took our books seriously 25:57 and saw the blessing that Spirit of Prophecy is 26:00 and saw the blessing that the literature work is, 26:03 what would happened to our churches. 26:05 Now this morning we started off with Natasha talking about 26:08 what is GYC. 26:09 GYC is a movement that's impacting the world, 26:12 not because there's a bunch of people 26:13 who are power hungry or people who just want influence. 26:16 There's a bunch of people 26:17 who don't like to be on stage with GYC, 26:20 but the only reason why GYC exist 26:23 is because there's a group of committed young people 26:25 inside the Seventh-day Adventist Church 26:27 that wants to do all we can to help see Jesus come soon. 26:31 And this morning we've seen 26:32 how it's impacted attendees life 26:34 who go back to their churches, who start their own ministry 26:38 not with some huge committee or brining speakers out, 26:41 but just brining people to their local area 26:44 and giving them a book. 26:46 Now I want to ask this morning how many of you think 26:47 you could do something that simple. 26:50 We all have something that we can do for God 26:53 and I want to encourage each one of you 26:55 to go back to your church and be active. 26:57 Now this morning- 26:59 this actually isn't just an evangelism sign, 27:00 now this is actually an offering appeal. 27:04 All of you have these envelopes on your seats this morning, 27:06 Generation of Youth for Christ. 27:09 And these are offering envelopes 27:12 and I want to ask you to take them out at this time. 27:14 GYC is not just looking for money 27:16 so that they can put on a conference 27:18 that's what your registration fee covers. 27:21 But GYC is looking for money to do evangelism 27:24 to support mission projects, to support projects like 27:27 we did yesterday with passing out the Great Controversy 27:30 and we need your help, 27:31 we need financial resources to be able to give people 27:34 who are sitting in darkness a little bit of light. 27:38 And I pray that as we're so blessed in America 27:41 that our hearts would not be hardened by that 27:43 but that we would be softened to recognize 27:45 what Christ has done for us 27:47 and to give back to His movement as well. 27:50 So if you open your envelope this morning you can recognize 27:52 that there is multiple ways you can give, 27:54 you can give by a check, by cash, by credit card 27:57 or you can even just pledge money, 27:59 you may not have money with you but you may know sum is coming. 28:03 I ask that you would pledge it and God can do great things 28:06 through your resources this morning. 28:08 I want to ask you to consider that at this time as we pray. 28:13 Father in heaven, Lord, we recognize 28:15 that there is such a mighty work to do 28:18 and Lord we're such a small group of people. 28:21 But Lord, we recognize that 12 people 28:24 changed the world in Your day. 28:26 And by Your grace Lord, 28:28 if You can just work on our hearts 28:29 enough that we could do something for You as well. 28:32 Lord, I pray that You'd be with us as we recognize 28:34 that the work that You have give us to do cost money. 28:37 Please soften our hearts 28:38 that we'd be willing to give to Your cause. 28:40 In Christ name we pray, amen. 29:07 You alone are Holy 29:14 You alone are God 29:20 You alone are worthy 29:26 To receive our praise 29:31 You alone are God 29:38 You alone are Lord 29:44 You 33:31 Are Worthy 33:33 Of our praise 33:40 You are God 33:47 Our God 35:19 Who holds the wind in his hands? 35:27 Have you not heard? 35:29 Do you not know? 35:33 Morning breaks 35:37 At his command 35:42 Breaks at his command 35:47 Have you not heard? 35:49 Do you not know? 35:54 Who formed the stars 35:57 Called them by name 35:59 Who calms the storm 36:02 Sends gentle rain 36:05 Who hung the sun and moon in space 36:16 Before all time began 36:21 Who knew creation's plan 36:27 Who gave the breath 36:30 Of life to man 36:38 Who gave the song its start 36:43 Who whispers to the heart 36:48 Who is the One 36:51 Who made the solemn night 36:57 Who knows the dwelling place of Lord 37:08 Not a god of clay 37:13 Not a silent stone 37:19 Not a graven image made of gold 37:25 Have you not heard? 37:28 Do you not know? 37:31 Have you not heard? 37:33 Do you not know? 37:40 Have you not heard? 37:41 Do you not know? 37:42 Have you not heard? 37:43 Do you not know? 37:45 Have you not heard? 37:47 Do you not know? 37:51 Have you not heard? 37:52 Do you not know? 38:07 Are not you stone 38:15 We are the works of his hands 38:20 God is creator 38:26 Angels serve at His command 38:32 All creation bows before Him 38:38 And we must do the same 38:43 For God alone is worthy 38:49 Worthy of our prayers 38:54 For creation bows before him 38:59 And we must do the same 39:04 For God alone is worthy 39:10 Worthy of our prayers 39:16 Our God is worthy 39:21 He's worthy 39:25 Our God is love 39:45 Before I sing this song, 39:46 I just want to share a little bit about it. 39:49 It's a song that's written in the form of a story. 39:58 And it's a song talking about the pain that one feels 40:05 when they go to heaven 40:08 looking for someone that they thought was there 40:10 and found out that they wasn't there. 40:12 And I know all of us have people that we desire 40:18 to see there and so as I sing this song 40:20 just think about them 40:21 and also think about yourself as well 40:24 and where you stand with Jesus. 40:27 Listen. 40:30 I dreamt 40:32 I went to heaven last night 40:40 There were many mansions up there 40:45 What a wonderful sight 40:50 Then I saw a door with your name 40:54 And something else written in red 40:58 It said this one's empty 41:01 He wanted the world instead 41:07 Tears in Heaven 41:12 I know Jesus will wipe them away 41:16 And when I was crying 41:21 In His gentle voice I heard Him say 41:26 There's a void in my heart 41:28 I wish you could see 41:30 I wanted him right here with me 41:35 And now I know why there will be 41:39 Tears in Heaven. 41:48 There were many 41:51 Searching for family and friends 41:58 Up and down 42:01 The streets of gold from end to end 42:08 Then I saw the books with your name 42:12 And all of the secrets you hide 42:16 And the tears came again 42:18 As I saw all the times Jesus tried 42:25 Tears in Heaven 42:30 I know Jesus will wipe them away 42:34 And when I was crying 42:39 In His gentle voice I heard Him say 42:44 There's a void in my heart 42:46 I wish you could see 42:49 I wanted him right here with me 42:53 And now I know why there will be 42:57 Tears in Heaven. 42:59 I'm so glad that 43:03 It was only just a dream 43:08 It was only a dream 43:16 While there's still just little bit more time 43:22 Use it wisely 43:26 Don't hesitate to make up your mind 43:33 Very soon there'll be no more chances 43:37 And it will be time to destroy 43:41 And I want to be standing with you crying tears of joy 43:48 Tears in Heaven 43:54 I know Jesus will wipe them away 43:58 And while we're crying 44:03 In His gentle voice we'll hear Him say 44:08 I'm so glad that you're here together with me 44:13 Living forever and free 44:20 And now I know why there will be... 44:25 Now I know why there will be 44:30 Now I know why there will be tears in Heaven 44:43 There'll be tears of sorrow 44:48 And tears of joy 44:54 In heaven. 45:01 God bless you. God bless you. 45:27 Timeless theme 45:30 Earth and Heaven will pass away 45:37 It's not a dream 45:40 God will make all things new that day 45:47 Gone is the curse 45:51 From which I stumbled and fell 45:57 Evil is banished 46:01 To eternal hell 46:08 No more night 46:12 No more pain 46:17 No more tears 46:21 Never crying again 46:26 Praises to the great 46:32 "I AM" 46:34 We will live in the light 46:38 Of the risen Lamb 46:51 See all around 46:54 Now the nations bow down to sing 47:01 The only sound 47:03 Are the praises to Christ, our King 47:11 Slowly the names 47:15 From the book are read 47:20 I know the King 47:23 There's no need to dread 47:31 No more night 47:36 No more pain 47:40 No more tears 47:44 Never crying again 47:49 Praises to the great 47:55 "I AM" 47:57 We will live in the light 48:01 Of the risen Lamb 48:09 See over there 48:11 It's a mansion prepared for me 48:18 Where I will live 48:20 With my Savior 48:23 Eternally 48:30 No more night 48:35 No more pain 48:39 No more tears 48:44 Never crying again 48:50 Praises to the great 48:55 "I AM" 48:57 We will live in the light 49:01 Of the risen Lamb 49:48 We will live in the light 49:53 Of the risen 50:05 Lamb 50:12 Amen. |
