ago I was asked to pastor the

church in Manhattan, New York.

members when I got there.

sit on the first two rows,

open up their pens,
their tablets and their Bibles

You've got to be impressed
with somebody who does that

I didn't mind the fact that

she came to church
late. And I baptized her

guests and some other people.

leading at least half a dozen

people to the Lord.

So I said: "Well if that's
what coming to church late does

then... " Well

Anyway, Yvonne Lewis
was then in show business.

out of show business

beer, for wine, for cigarettes.

massive hits in their income

that did those commercials

sing we'll find somebody else. "

and so she endeared herself
