Now my second question. 00:48:13.22\00:48:17.18 If anything based on what you've learned, 00:48:17.21\00:48:19.66 based on the challenges that were put before you this week, 00:48:19.69\00:48:22.95 what are you personally going to change 00:48:22.98\00:48:25.67 in your own spiritual walk with Christ? 00:48:25.70\00:48:29.77 Well, in my walk I am convinced 00:48:29.80\00:48:32.37 that I need to spend more time in prayer, 00:48:32.40\00:48:34.98 I want to spend deeper time in God's word 00:48:35.01\00:48:38.50 and I want to like gain more from it. 00:48:38.53\00:48:41.61 So I really want to go home 00:48:41.64\00:48:44.31 and apply all the things that we learn to my life. 00:48:44.34\00:48:48.99 I made personal decision to add extra time to my worship 00:48:49.02\00:48:53.06 and to spend more time with God 00:48:53.09\00:48:56.10 in studying His word because we really need to know it. 00:48:56.13\00:48:59.87 I also decided to spend more time in prayer with God 00:48:59.90\00:49:03.94 and reading His word and singing. 00:49:03.97\00:49:07.25 I really like singing. 00:49:07.28\00:49:09.97 Amen. Thank you. 00:49:10.00\00:49:11.05 And my last question. 00:49:11.08\00:49:13.54 This is your opportunity, 00:49:13.57\00:49:15.57 do you have a specific pointed appeal 00:49:15.60\00:49:18.89 for the family at ASI, for the young people at ASI 00:49:18.92\00:49:23.56 that you want to personally extend to them at this time? 00:49:23.59\00:49:27.19 If you will pray for us in the early teen department 00:49:27.22\00:49:30.94 for tomorrow at Sabbath 00:49:30.97\00:49:33.21 because amazing things are happening 00:49:33.24\00:49:35.61 in the early teen department. 00:49:35.64\00:49:37.17 I mean, the appeals and stuff, 00:49:37.20\00:49:38.71 almost every single early teen goes down. 00:49:38.74\00:49:43.37 All mine is be ready because Jesus is coming soon. 00:49:43.40\00:49:48.91 Mine is always be faithful to God 00:49:48.94\00:49:51.71 and He will guide you in all your steps 00:49:51.74\00:49:54.83 and spend more time with God, it will help you a lot. 00:49:54.86\00:50:00.93 All right. So a hardy amen for the early teens. 00:50:00.96\00:50:04.89 The group is learning and God's name is praised. 00:50:04.92\00:50:08.86 As we know and understand that time is very short 00:50:08.89\00:50:12.53 and we have a personal responsibility 00:50:12.56\00:50:15.18 as men and women, parents 00:50:15.21\00:50:17.13 and servants of the Lord to support our young people 00:50:17.16\00:50:19.97 to the will of Him that sent us and to finish His work. Amen. 00:50:20.00\00:50:24.45 Hello, I am Joshua Plohocky. 00:50:34.67\00:50:36.30 We are here to represent the youth division 00:50:36.33\00:50:39.04 and as many of you know there is a real war 00:50:39.07\00:50:42.27 raging within our church. 00:50:42.30\00:50:44.24 And that war is over our mind. It's over what we believe. 00:50:44.27\00:50:47.58 And what we wanted to do in our youth group this year 00:50:47.61\00:50:50.35 was to emphasize that war 00:50:50.38\00:50:52.74 and try to address some of the things that have been 00:50:52.77\00:50:55.14 causing our young people to leave the church. 00:50:55.17\00:50:59.20 And so we have here a few examples 00:50:59.23\00:51:01.43 of some of these young people 00:51:01.46\00:51:03.50 that want to share their experiences. 00:51:03.53\00:51:06.64 Right, Joshua, it's been a really exciting, 00:51:06.67\00:51:08.90 powerful weekend so far 00:51:08.93\00:51:10.49 and I am so excited that it's not over yet, 00:51:10.52\00:51:12.41 we still have a day. 00:51:12.44\00:51:13.73 So I know that we are going to be even more of us. 00:51:13.76\00:51:17.72 Joshua, you want to share something with us? 00:51:17.75\00:51:20.57 Yeah, well, today and yesterday morning 00:51:20.60\00:51:25.54 Pastor Christian Berdahl, Christian Berdahl, 00:51:25.57\00:51:29.92 he came and he talked to us about 00:51:29.95\00:51:31.76 the music and things like that 00:51:31.79\00:51:34.39 and I think it was really interesting 00:51:34.42\00:51:36.99 on how the lyrics of the songs are not the important part 00:51:37.02\00:51:41.37 but the important part is about the beat 00:51:41.40\00:51:43.27 and the things like that which messes with your emotions 00:51:43.30\00:51:45.13 and your hormones and everything. 00:51:45.16\00:51:47.38 It changes your thinking from your frontal lobe 00:51:47.41\00:51:51.33 and basically turns it off 00:51:51.36\00:51:52.44 after a certain amount of sync repeated beats. 00:51:52.47\00:51:54.56 And all that it makes you feel more aware 00:51:54.59\00:51:57.55 of what you are listening to 00:51:57.58\00:51:59.02 and what you should be listening to. 00:51:59.05\00:52:04.12 On Thursday we visited a creation museum 00:52:04.15\00:52:07.12 and I personally have never been to creation museum. 00:52:07.15\00:52:13.21 I am home schooled and of course 00:52:13.24\00:52:15.41 always learn science from creations point of view 00:52:15.44\00:52:18.40 but I am used to going to museum 00:52:18.43\00:52:22.02 and having to shut my mind to all the evolutionist ideas. 00:52:22.05\00:52:25.61 And it was so refreshing to go and to see 00:52:25.64\00:52:27.95 how some people are actually dedicate 00:52:27.98\00:52:30.69 to bringing real scientific facts 00:52:30.72\00:52:34.06 about how God create everything 00:52:34.09\00:52:35.90 and new things about how the flood created 00:52:35.93\00:52:39.10 things like the Grand Canyon rapidly 00:52:39.13\00:52:41.06 and how the evolutionary prospective 00:52:41.09\00:52:45.73 is slowly being taken apart by people 00:52:45.76\00:52:48.99 who really know how to scientifically investigate 00:52:49.02\00:52:52.22 with God blessing their decisions. 00:52:52.25\00:52:57.17 God evening, I am going to kind of share my experience. 00:52:57.20\00:53:02.22 Dwayne Lemon came and talked to the youth group 00:53:02.25\00:53:05.52 and I had never heard him before 00:53:05.55\00:53:07.59 until I came to ASI Youth for Jesus. 00:53:07.62\00:53:11.09 And he talked to us and he just shared 00:53:11.12\00:53:13.13 so much about the Bible and let me tell you, 00:53:13.16\00:53:16.43 if you can not prove what you believe in the Bible 00:53:16.46\00:53:19.20 you need to go and find it. 00:53:19.23\00:53:21.07 He talked about the sanctuary 00:53:21.10\00:53:23.11 and how God came and uses it for our salvation. 00:53:23.14\00:53:27.65 And it's amazing and if you ever get the chance 00:53:27.68\00:53:30.24 to listen to one of his sermons I highly encourage it. 00:53:30.27\00:53:35.15 So we had an amazing time with him 00:53:35.18\00:53:38.20 and he shared all about the sanctuary 00:53:38.23\00:53:41.18 and he is coming back tomorrow night 00:53:41.21\00:53:43.09 to the youth group and tell us even more. 00:53:43.12\00:53:45.42 Thank you. Amen. 00:53:45.45\00:53:47.51
