03:26 Good evening, ASI, we are the Youth Division 03:29 and our theme this year was pleading the fifth. 03:33 That's the fifth verse of Second Timothy Chapter 3, 03:37 verses 1 through 5. 03:38 It's all about being real, escaping the forms 03:42 of Christianity and we just really emphasize 03:46 living by the power of Jesus Christ. 03:49 My name is Michelle Odinma and I'm one of 03:51 the youth mentors for the program this year. 03:54 And we've selected a couple of students to share with us, 03:57 how the program has impacted them this year. 04:01 The program this year has been amazing. 04:06 I have really had a great time with the teens 04:11 that come to the program, because they have the same 04:13 goals and challenges that I have in my walk with God. 04:16 And I've been really inspired and encouraged 04:18 by the speakers this year to keep growing in Christ. 04:22 And to stay strong no matter what happens. 04:24 I've also been a little bit challenged by our-- 04:29 a thing that we did today. 04:31 We went to Weimar Institute and helped them 04:33 on their farm, which was a lot of fun, 04:35 we got to pick apples and pull weeds and rake leaves 04:39 and even I got a farmer's tan. 04:44 So our theme is on pleading the fifth. 04:48 So what does that mean, when you're in a court case, 04:50 it's about not talking so you don't incriminate 04:55 yourself further, that means you are guilty. 04:58 So how do you this, in our life today, 05:01 in our spiritual walk. 05:02 You know, when someone comes up and ask you about God, 05:05 they ask you how great is this God of yours. 05:08 What is He about? 05:09 And you're just like, you know, He's a good God. 05:14 And that's all you say, it's, what does this form from? 05:20 It's because we don't to be true to our self. 05:23 We don't want to take off our armor, as Sebastian put it. 05:27 We have this armor on, and as we grow up 05:31 we constantly learn that we want to be the big ones. 05:36 We want to have, we want to be strong and-- 05:38 but we aren't, we aren't strong in ourselves 05:42 whatsoever, we need God. 05:47 We need His word, and unless we get rid of 05:50 the self satisfaction, this apathy for service, 05:56 we can do nothing. 05:58 These last days are coming so soon and we just-- 06:01 we need to be ready and we can only do this 06:04 by submitting ourselves to God by realizing that we are not 06:09 all we may think we maybe. 06:14 And this is what, this is what it's all been about. 06:16 It's been such a big blessing. Amen. 06:25 Well, this past month I was with Youth for Jesus, 06:29 that's how I've got here to ASI. 06:30 It's actually my first ASI. 06:32 So I can't say anything about what happened last year. 06:34 But this ASI, I've had an awesome blessing. 06:38 I've had--Tuesday night, I was re-baptized because 06:43 I felt convicted that I need to take off the armor, 06:46 that I need to be real and the youth program 06:48 here at ASI definitely reinforced my decision. 06:51 And I hope this will continue to grow 06:55 because it will really help me, 06:56 and I know it can help a lot of other people. 06:58 And today, working on the farm, 07:01 I was digging a big hole, and I got a couple of visitors. 07:05 I've yet to know what lesson I have to get from that, 07:08 but I'm kind of glad I got them. 07:11 And I'm glad I'm here at ASI. Amen. 07:15 We used the two means that Ellen White gives to us, 07:19 the Bible and nature. 07:20 And it does not fail, God bless. 07:25 Have you not been blessed this evening? 07:28 Oh my, what a blessing this has been tonight 07:32 and to see the little ones and the bigger ones 07:36 and the really big ones. 07:39 You've been a blessing, I got the opportunity to 07:42 attend the baptism on Tuesday evening. 07:45 And what a special blessing that was to me. 07:48 I remember the very first Youth for Jesus, 07:51 I was there, along with my children 07:53 and to see how the program has grown, what a blessing. 07:58 We're happy to be here tonight, are you happy to be here? Amen. 08:02 Have you been blessed so far? Oh, good. 08:06 Well, have I got a treat for you tonight. 08:10 In fact, I've made a new best friend 08:14 and she is going to become your new best friend 08:18 and in fact let's see where is she? 08:21 Oh, here she comes. 08:24 You're going to be amazed at the story that she has 08:28 to tell us tonight, I want to know who are you? 08:33 Irene Osborne. Where are you from? 08:37 Where am I from? Mount Chester, California. 08:39 Mount Chester, stage fright. Stage fright. 08:44 Mount Chester, California. Mount Chester, California. 08:47 That's right. How young are you? 08:49 94 years old. 94 years old. 08:57 Irene. Yes. 08:58 Tell us about what got you involved in ASI? 09:03 Tell us what happened a few years ago? 09:07 Well, when I was in Madison, Madison was a college that-- 09:13 we were doing--this was during the depression. 09:16 So kids couldn't go to school where you can, 09:18 for nothing, you know, in Madison. 09:20 Especially one of our institutions. 09:22 So this college was, Madison College 09:25 was formulated so that children could, 09:30 kids could go to school and get a 09:33 Christian education and be deferred. 09:36 When you got out of school then you paid your--paid them back. 09:40 And so that's how Adventists got in-- 09:43 Madison got started, Madison, Tennessee. 09:46 The name of it was Madison College 09:49 and E.A. Sutherland was our, was the founder. 09:53 We had about 200 students, everybody was going to school 09:58 and their tuition was deferred, didn't have to pay anything 10:01 until after they got out of school. 10:03 Then they would payback as you got a job, 10:07 monthly payments till you finally paid your tuition. 10:12 And I think you got 10 cents an hour for. 10:15 Yes, we got, we got 10 cents an hour and a education. 10:20 So it was education and a vocation you learned, 10:23 by the time you finished Madison you had a vocation. 10:27 I went and became a registered nurse 10:30 and 10 cents an hour, labor. 10:33 And then, your senior year. 10:36 And then in my senior year, I became a representative, 10:44 if I say, of ASI, which was a college, 10:48 Madison College sent out 10:52 students to other, other districts. 10:56 Maybe even a hundred miles away to start another school 10:59 just like Madison, and they were called units at that time. 11:03 And we had about eight or ten units for Madison, 11:10 where you start a college just exactly like 11:13 Madison self supporting. 11:16 And so that was why I was into this, 11:19 because they had a meeting of all the units 11:23 would send a delegate. 11:24 And I was a delegate from Madison and the others would 11:27 send a delegate and we would meet every three months 11:30 to find out what you were doing 11:32 and be sure that it was kept just like 11:35 a self supporting institution like Madison. 11:38 So that how we--so our ASI meeting I was there 11:43 and there was only about eight of us. 11:45 How many did you say, Irene? About eight of us. 11:49 Only eight at the very first ASI get together. 11:53 That meant that there was eight different units 11:56 that Madison had represented from. 12:00 What did you think about that? 12:03 Well, at that time, I wasn't too happy about 12:05 even being the delegate, because I worked from 12:09 six in the morning till twelve at noon. 12:16 Nursing and then from 12 to about 6 O'Clock 12:20 we went to school, then at 6 O'Clock, 12:23 from 10 O'Clock, I went back to nursing again. 12:26 So when you work about ten hours a day 12:28 and try to go to school I was realizing what 12:32 I was missing by even going to those meetings, 12:34 but look what we have. Amen. Wonderful. 12:45 ASI at that time meant 12:48 Adventist Self Supporting Institution. 12:52 It's changed its name because it's gotten floosier, you know. 13:00 And anyway, I can't believe that we have 13:09 such a wonderful congregation 13:11 from ASI is just really wonderful. 13:13 I'm just -- that little, that little gathering 13:16 and that little thing that we started in Madison 13:19 has developed into something 13:21 that's very beautiful and wonderful. Amen. 13:24 Well, Irene, we're so happy 13:26 that you can be here with us tonight. 13:28 This is very, very special. 13:31 But you know, I know you're doing something else right now, 13:34 you're very involved with what? Youth. 13:38 I tell you, I've, I've been -- I've been a youth leader 13:42 for, let me see, I set it down here. 13:44 Eighty, eighty, eighty two years, I mean, 13:47 sixty two years. 13:48 From 1948 and I'm still youth leader of my home church. 14:01 Mother is kind of like a magnet for kids 14:05 and they just swarm around her, 14:07 whether she's walking or whether she's in a wheel chair 14:10 because she loves them and has always led them to Christ. 14:14 And she-- they just adore her, 14:16 so we don't see any reason why we should replace her. 14:21 I still have youth groups over in my house 14:24 every Wednesday night, from an hour half, two hours, 14:28 we cook and make things and play games 14:31 and have a good time with that. 14:36 So, I'm still youth leader. 14:41 I probably be that till I die. 14:45 Well, that's a good thing to be involved with. 14:48 It's only thing to do. It's the only to do, isn't it? 14:51 Be youth leader, everybody. 14:55 Well, Irene, we wanna thank you so much because 14:59 the ASI family now has a new best friend 15:02 and you need to visit with Irene. 15:05 And, Irene, is there anything else 15:07 you would like tell us before we stop? 15:10 Well, I just want to say that, 15:13 think, get involved with the youth. 15:15 You know, I was kind of afraid of youth before. 15:17 I started out of the kindergarten and went up, 15:20 you know, and then when I got up to the youth pastor, 15:23 I don't know what they wanna prove with those kids, you know. 15:28 But we're sure glad you did. 15:30 But they're unpredictable, but, you know, 15:34 when I got to working with them, I wouldn't do anything else. 15:38 It's just emotional. Praise God. 15:41 Thank you, Irene. 15:42 We're so happy to have you here at ASI. 15:53 [Music] 18:11 Happy Sabbath, everyone. 18:14 How many of you excited to be here tonight? 18:17 Pray with me please. 18:19 Heavenly Father, our time is running out, 18:27 we're in a race against the clock, 18:30 help us to finish strong tonight. 18:34 In Jesus name we pray, amen. 18:38 Have you ever felt the pressure of time, 18:41 I've 38 minutes and 43 seconds 18:44 to tell you what I need to tell you. 18:47 Let me read in the book Last Day Events, page 212, 18:51 we're told, "Thousands in the eleventh hour will see 18:55 and acknowledge the truth. 18:57 These conversions to truth will be made with a rapidity 19:01 that will surprise the church, 19:03 and God's name alone will be glorified." 19:06 How many of you looking for to that time, 19:09 when thousands will be converted in a day, isn't that amazing? 19:14 What are they gonna be converted to? 19:16 They're gonna be converted to Jesus Christ, Amen. 19:19 But the reason they're gonna be converted is because 19:21 they're gonna hear the preaching 19:22 of the Three Angels' messages, Amen. 19:25 And beloved, when we think of 19:27 the Three Angels' messages, what do we think of? 19:29 We think of the Mark of the Beast, 19:30 we think of Seal of God, we think of 19:32 the 2300 day prophecy, we think of 19:34 the Seventh day week prophecy, we think of the 1260 years, 19:38 we think of the fall of Lucifer from Heaven. 19:40 We think of many things. 19:41 Now, I don't know if you are excited when I said that 19:44 thousands will be converted in a day. 19:45 Let me hear it again. Amen. 19:47 Amen, but do you know what that means, beloved. 19:50 If thousands will be converted in a day because 19:52 of the preaching of the entire Three Angels' messages 19:56 in a day that means, beloved, that you and I better learn 20:01 how to preach the Three Angels' messages in one day, Amen. 20:10 Amen. Let me ask you something, 20:13 how many of you have a favorite movie? 20:14 I know that you're Adventists, you don't go to movies anymore. 20:16 But you used to have a favorite movie. 20:18 Yes, if I were to ask you to share with us your 20:22 favorite movie in about 15 minutes or less, 20:25 knowing that, that movie covered a certain period of time. 20:28 Maybe ten years or twenty years, 20:30 or fifty years or a hundred years, 20:31 how many do you think you could share that movie in 20:34 about 15 minutes or so? Amen. 20:38 Now how many of you do you think you could share 20:39 the great controversy, the whole thing in about 20:41 15 minutes or so. 20:48 Beloved, here's what we're gonna tonight, 20:55 we're going to cover in 36 minutes and 28 seconds 21:00 the Great Controversy. Amen, amen. 21:03 The 2300 day prophecy, the 70 week prophecy, 21:05 the 1260 year prophecy, the Fall of Lucifer from Heaven, 21:09 the Millennium, Hell fire and Earth made new. 21:14 Don't pass out, it's going to get done 21:18 by the grace of God, Amen. 21:21 Beloved, if I can put it this way, 21:22 how many of you ever juice. 21:23 Did anyone ever juice, before. 21:24 You take about 20 carrots 21:26 you juice it down into one cup right. 21:29 We're going to juice the Bible tonight, is that okay. 21:37 Time is running out, there's a race against the clock. 21:42 Beloved, please listen carefully, 21:44 I've subtitled this sermon, Earth's final movie. 21:50 The blueprint, Earth's final movie, 21:54 so I'm going to need your minds to be the screen. 21:57 Are you ready for the movie? 21:59 Let's begin, now by the way, please excuse me because 22:03 I usually take about a hour and twenty minutes 22:05 to do this presentation. 22:07 I'm going to have to speak super fast. 22:11 Do you forgive me? Amen. 22:13 Are you with me? Amen. 22:15 Are you ready? Amen. 22:16 If you want the full version come see me later, 22:18 I'm giving you the super juice version tonight. 22:23 The Book of Ezekiel, Chapter 28 22:25 begins with an angel or allows our or brings our story, 22:30 begins our story rather, with an angel by the name of Lucifer. 22:33 Lucifer is described as a covering Cherub. 22:37 A what, everyone? Covering Cherub. 22:39 Now to understand what a covering Cherub is, 22:42 we must go back to the Old Testament, 22:44 to the Book of Exodus. Where in Exodus 25, 22:46 the Bible describes a building that God had instructed 22:50 Moses to make, that building is called the sanctuary 22:54 and inside that sanctuary was a Most Holy Place, 22:58 which was a reflection of God's throne room in Heaven. 23:02 Are you with me? Amen. 23:03 In that throne room was something called 23:05 the Ark of the Covenant and on top of it 23:09 was something called the Mercy Seat. 23:11 Now that Mercy Seat represents God's throne. 23:17 Now the Mercy Seat rests upon the Ark of the Covenant, 23:20 listen to what that tells us, beloved. 23:22 That, in Heaven the foundation of God's throne 23:26 was His law, because that's what's 23:29 found in the Ark of the Covenant. 23:30 Are you with me so far? Amen. 23:33 Now the Bible says that on either side of this Ark were 23:35 two angels and they were called what? 23:38 Covering Angels, that word cover simply means 23:41 to defend or protect. 23:43 Listen to what that tells us about Lucifer, beloved, 23:47 Lucifer's job description in Heaven was to protect 23:51 and defend the law of God. Whoa. 23:59 He who stood in the very presence of God, 24:01 he was to guard the sanctity of that law, 24:04 because it was the foundation of God's government. 24:06 But the Bible tells us in Ezekiel 28 24:08 that Lucifer was perfect until what? 24:11 Inequity was found in him. 24:13 Now, you help me, inequity according 24:15 to the word of God is sin 24:17 and sin is transgression of the Law. 24:20 So, Lucifer who was supposed to be guarding 24:23 the law of God ends up turning against that law and thus, 24:28 beloved, the first war 24:29 that ever broke out was over the law of God. 24:37 Okay, we'll work on that. 24:40 Now, now the question is why is it, 24:42 the Bible tells us that Lucifer deceived 24:44 one-third of the angels, amen. 24:47 And, and, we need to ask the question why is it, 24:50 how is it that Lucifer deceive one-third of angels. 24:52 Did Lucifer say, hey angels, 24:54 would you like to be evil and join me. 24:56 No, that wouldn't be deception. 24:59 The Book of Isaiah Chapter 14 tells us that Lucifer 25:02 claimed to, he said that, 25:04 "I can be or I will be like" who, the Most High. 25:07 Let's put it together, to be like the Most High means 25:11 to be just it means to be righteous as He is, 25:15 Holy like He is. 25:17 Listen to what Lucifer was saying. 25:19 Lucifer was saying, I can be Holy like God 25:23 without some law telling me how to do it. 25:27 Okay, okay, have you heard that argument before that, 25:32 that we don't need a law in order to be like God. 25:36 Beloved, that's an argument of self righteousness 25:41 and that's what deceived one-third of angels in Heaven. 25:44 Lucifer didn't say, hey, I want to be evil. 25:46 He said, there are other ways to righteousness 25:48 other than obeying God. 25:51 That's how the rebellion began, 25:52 that's how he deceived one-third of the angels. 25:54 How many of you are following me in the movie so far? 25:58 The Bible tells us that Lucifer and the angels were cast out. 26:02 The question now becomes, why is it that Lucifer was 26:06 not immediately judged. 26:08 Have you ever asked yourself that question? 26:09 Very simple, beloved, the answer's a profound one, 26:11 you see in the Book of Deuteronomy 26:13 Chapter 19 verses 16 through 19, 26:16 the Bible lays out a principle there 26:18 giving to Moses and the children of Israel. 26:20 Whenever a controversy arose between two parties, 26:23 there had to be a third party of what, everyone? 26:27 A third party to discern between the two, 26:30 that's only fair, isn't that right. 26:32 Now, let's take that very same principle 26:35 and bring it back to our story in Heaven. 26:37 When Lucifer and his angels rebel, 26:40 how many sides are there in Heaven? 26:43 Two, God and His angels, the devil and his angels. 26:49 It's as though there's a stalemate, 26:51 the devil is accusing God and for God to sit over judgment 26:56 of the devil at that point in time would 26:58 have been seen to be unfair. 27:02 It's like you trying me to take me to court 27:03 and I'll say, okay and I'm the judge. 27:08 Okay, so, so in the Book of Ezekiel 27:10 the Bible says there, when God is speaking 27:12 of casting out Lucifer, He says, Lucifer, 27:14 I'm gonna lay you before kings that they may behold you. 27:18 This term appears to be synonymous with some kind of 27:21 judgment and I can imagine in my pastoral imagination, 27:24 Lucifer scratching his head going, 27:26 who are you gonna get to judge me, God. 27:29 Don't you know all heaven is polarized into two sides? 27:33 Beloved, here's a question, who would be the jury, 27:35 the third party that God will use to judge Lucifer? 27:42 You're looking at them right now. 27:46 You see, beloved, listen, there is something about 27:48 jury selection that we should know. 27:49 When a jury is selected they like to choose people who have 27:53 little or no first hand knowledge of the crime. 27:57 Guess what, where was humanity when Lucifer rebelled? 28:02 We weren't even created yet, so far so good. 28:06 How about this, a juror must be a law abiding-- 28:20 a juror must be a law abiding citizen and, beloved, 28:23 we know that Adam and Eve were created with 28:24 the law of God written on their hearts. 28:27 And number three, beloved, a juror, 28:30 must be able to discern between right and wrong 28:35 and must not be swayed by public opinion. 28:40 First Corinthians 6 says, know ye not that we 28:42 shall judge angels. 28:47 We are the kings that God created 28:49 partially to serve as jurors. 28:52 Let me tell you something, jury duty don't skip out. 28:57 So, beloved, Lucifer sees his creation of man 28:59 and he goes, are these that ones that ought to judge me? 29:02 What shall I do, what shall I do. 29:05 Beloved, if you had access to a jury that had your fate 29:08 in their hands, what would you do? 29:10 Seek to bribe the jury. 29:18 Satan comes to Eve in the garden 29:19 and does he say to Eve, hey Eve, would like to be evil. 29:28 No, no, no, no, he says, Eve, you can be like huh? 29:33 Does that sound familiar. 29:35 It's the same thing he said to the angels. 29:39 Are you with me in the movie so far? 29:41 So, Adam and Eve sinned 29:42 and they are disqualified from jury selection. 29:45 Jesus comes to the garden and He gives them a promise, 29:48 and beloved, we can ultimately know that 29:50 the gospel was given to restore mankind to being sound jurors, 29:58 who know the difference between 30:00 right and wrong and who are law abiding citizens. 30:08 Are you with me so far? 30:10 So now, we're going to fast forward 30:12 our movie scene a little bit 30:14 and now we're going to go down to the Book of Exodus. 30:16 And beloved in the Book of Exodus 30:18 what we find is that God is about to call 30:20 a people out of captivity. 30:21 Who are they? They're the Israelites. 30:24 Now, beloved, listen to me in the, 30:27 when Lucifer rebelled against God in heaven 30:30 he didn't liked God's way. 30:31 God's what, everyone? God's way. 30:34 Do you know what Psalms 77 verse 13 says? 30:37 It says, "Thy way oh God is, where?" 30:41 In the sanctuary. 30:42 So when Lucifer rebelled against God's sanctuary 30:44 in Heaven, he was really rebelling 30:46 against God's way. 30:49 When God's calls all the children of Israel. 30:51 And he is getting ready to use them as His people 30:54 who ought to bring salvation to the world. 30:56 He gives them something special, 30:59 I call it the blueprint, 31:04 or God's GPS, 31:10 the Gospel Plan of Salvation. 31:15 That way of God is in sanctuary and, 31:17 beloved, what happens is that 31:18 when you're looking for the way, 31:20 it means that you must be lost. 31:24 So God, He looks down at Israel, 31:25 and He says, I'm gonna give you a special gift, 31:28 in that gift is the way. 31:31 I wanna use you to take this way, 31:33 this GPS to the whole world. 31:37 So now you can begin to understand 31:39 how must Satan have felt 31:40 when He saw the replica 31:41 of what was in Heaven now on Earth. 31:46 Wait a minute, this is the thing 31:48 that is to guide all people to salvation. 31:50 We hate it, we're gonna destroy it 31:52 and we're gonna destroy the people who possess it, 31:55 we cannot allow this truth to go into the world. 32:00 You say, pastor, so this blueprint 32:02 what do you mean blueprint. 32:04 Like, like, like how is it the path of salvation? 32:06 So, we're gonna take a look now. 32:07 I'm gonna put a picture upon the chart, 32:09 upon the screen 32:11 and it'll probably only be there for a little while, 32:13 I'm gonna need to memorize this picture. 32:15 Because I'm not gonna be able 32:16 to put it up there very often, all right. 32:18 Are you with me? Do you see the picture? 32:20 Is the picture up there? 32:22 No picture, there we go, now you help me. 32:27 When you took a bird's eye view 32:28 of the sanctuary, 32:29 when you went into the outer court 32:31 you came to two articles of furniture. 32:34 They were the Altar of Sacrifice, 32:37 that's right down there at the bottom. 32:38 And then there was the Laver, 32:41 now the Altar of Sacrifice is where animals are what? 32:44 Sacrificed, and by the way, what does that represent? 32:47 The sacrifice of who? 32:48 Jesus Christ, very good, then you have the Laver. 32:51 That's where the priests would wash their hands 32:53 and their feet, and beloved, 32:54 that symbolized simply what in the gospel. 32:57 Baptism, very good, you go up 32:59 and you see the Table of Showbread 33:01 and the Table of Showbread represents what? 33:04 The word of God, "Man shall not live by bread alone 33:07 but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God," 33:09 then you have the Altar of Incense, 33:11 which represents our what? 33:13 Prayers, very good, 33:14 and then the Seven-Branched Candlestick represents what? 33:18 It represents the Holy Spirit, 33:19 but our witness through the Holy Spirit 33:22 "Ye are the light of the world, 33:24 a city set on the hill cannot be hid, 33:26 neither do men light a candle." 33:29 It's your witness. 33:32 And then you got into the Most Holy Place 33:34 and there was the Ark of the Covenant. 33:37 So there goes our blueprint, 33:39 now do you got, do you have the picture? 33:40 You remember this picture. 33:42 So, how is it that this sanctuary 33:47 is God's Gospel Plan of Salvation. 33:50 Well, if you'll remember the picture 33:52 that you just saw, if you were to trace 33:55 around the outer edges of article of furniture, 33:59 do you know what you find? 34:00 You should know because you saw it. 34:02 You see a cross, somebody say amen, amen. 34:05 Can you imagine, 3,000 years before 34:08 Jesus comes upon the scene, the sanctuary prophesied 34:11 that Christ would die on a cross for our sins. 34:15 He says, I'm the what? 34:18 "Way of the truth and the life," not only that, beloved, 34:21 but as you look at that sanctuary 34:22 you also finds something else very interesting. 34:24 Because in each place where an article of furniture is, 34:28 there Christ was wounded. 34:32 Nail in the left hand, nail in the right hand, 34:35 a crown of thorns on His head, He died of a broken heart. 34:38 Nails in His feet, beloved, even to the point where 34:41 when He was pierced in his side. 34:45 Okay, all right. 34:48 Blood and water come out, 34:56 all right, well, let's try this one, 34:59 God delivers His people through this plan 35:03 through this path, over and over again. 35:04 Let's take the children of Israel, Israel, 35:08 when they were being led out of captivity, 35:11 the first thing God did was He told them to make a sacrifice 35:15 and put the blood on the post. 35:16 What article of furniture? 35:19 What article of furniture? 35:21 The Altar of Sacrifice, very good, that's Exodus 12. 35:25 In Exodus 14, they're on their way 35:27 to freedom and then Pharaoh says, 35:29 what have I done, I changed my mind, go get them. 35:31 And what does God do, He opened the Red Sea. 35:35 Come on, someone, what is that, it's the Laver, it's baptism. 35:41 After they get to the other side, 35:43 that's Exodus 14, after they get to the other side, 35:45 in Exodus 16, guess what happens. 35:47 They're like we're hungry and guess what God does, 35:50 He rains down manna. 35:58 Twenty one minutes, He rains down manna, 36:03 so, so, so then after that, 36:04 I believe in Exodus 16 or Exodus, I'm sorry 36:07 Exodus 17 or Exodus 19 36:09 where God now says to them, Israel, 36:11 you are my peculiar treasure. 36:13 My light to the world, my people 36:15 that I'm gonna use for to bring salvation to the earth 36:18 and beloved, what we're seeing there 36:19 is that God is bringing them 36:21 in essence to the Seven-branched Candlestick. 36:25 In that same Chapter Exodus 19 36:26 God says to Moses, Moses, I want you to tell the people 36:29 to spend three days preparing themselves 36:33 to meet with me, hard preparation, why? 36:36 Because in Exodus 20. 36:45 In Exodus 20, beloved, God comes down and speaks what? 36:49 the Ten Commandments. 36:51 Let's just do a few more, is that okay? 36:54 Jesus is born in a manger among animals. 36:59 We might say He was born on an Altar of Sacrifice. 37:03 He was baptized at the age of 30, that's the Laver. 37:09 He's then led up into the wilderness where He's tempted, 37:14 the first temptation, 37:18 you thought I was making this up. 37:22 Turn the stone into bread, second temptation, 37:26 throw yourself down from this cliff 37:28 and offer a presumptuous prayer to God. 37:31 Third temptation, I know you came for your people, 37:34 your Seven-branched Candlestick, 37:35 bow down and I'll give you your people. 37:38 Jesus overcomes all three temptations 37:40 and goes on to preach the law combined with the mercy of God. 37:45 Or we could reverse it, Jesus left Heaven, 37:48 His throne, lived a life of prayer, 37:52 lived a life based on the word of God. 37:54 Let his light shine, was baptized and then crucified. 37:58 Which way do you want it? Which? 38:02 But, beloved, ultimately listen to me, 38:05 oh, how about this. 38:07 Matthew, Mark, Luke and John 38:09 all deal with the sacrifice of Christ, 38:12 the Book of Acts is about baptism 38:14 of the Holy Spirit, that's the Laver. 38:16 The Book of Romans through Jude 38:18 all talk about the importance 38:20 of Bible study, prayer and witnessing 38:22 and then Revelation brings us 38:24 into the very throne room of God. 38:28 Beloved, we ought to know this blueprint. 38:32 It's the plan of salvation, 38:33 it's what the world doesn't understand 38:37 So now I know that when I want to get saved there's a process. 38:39 I must first accept who? 38:42 Christ, and if I genuinely accept Christ, 38:44 I will be baptized and if I'm genuinely baptized 38:48 and following Christ, I will study the word, 38:51 I will pray and I will what? 38:54 Witness, and beloved, ultimately, 38:56 when you're sharing this with your friends 38:58 about the Path of Salvation 38:59 guess where they ultimate are led to? 39:05 All right, I'll get excited for you, uh, what? 39:11 So beloved, get the idea here, 39:13 God, the devil is angry at this Plan of Salvation. 39:16 So watch this, the entire Old Testament 39:19 is really about how the devil 39:21 is trying to destroy the people who possess the blueprint 39:24 and to destroy the blueprint itself, are you with me? 39:27 So, it's as though God gives, imagine it like this, 39:30 the blueprint is the football 39:32 and God gives this football 39:33 to Israel and he says, take it down the field. 39:38 But Israel, they begin running down the field 39:40 but they begin to rebel against God 39:41 and they get so stubborn 39:43 that God allows them to fall into Babylonian captivity. 39:48 Well, what happens? 39:49 We're introduced to the first 39:51 of three time prophecies in the Book of Daniel. 39:54 By the way, how many of you are with me 39:55 in the movie so far. 39:57 Are you following me? 39:58 Amen, okay, so, so, so the first prophecy 40:02 is the 70 week prophecy. 40:05 Now the question is, what is this prophecy all about? 40:08 Very simple, beloved, 40:09 this prophecy is simply 40:10 God saying to Israel, Israel, 40:13 the one to whom the sanctuary points 40:15 will come in 70 weeks. 40:17 If you're not ready to receive Him 40:20 and if you continue in your rebellion 40:22 I will take the blueprint from you 40:25 and I will give it to somebody else. 40:28 Guess what happens, Israel comes, 40:32 Jesus comes, Israel rejects the Christ. 40:37 You know what happens when He dies? 40:38 The veil in the temple is rent into, 40:43 signifying the end of the earthly blueprint. 40:47 Jesus as after His resurrection 40:50 ascends to Heaven in a heavenly sanctuary, 40:54 and the blueprint, the ball is taken 40:57 from literal Israel 40:58 and given to spiritual Israel. 41:02 Guess what, 41:03 we just went through the entire Old Testament 41:06 and we've 16 minutes to go, 41:08 the clock is tickling. 41:12 God gives Israel the gift of tongues, 41:14 so that they can take this message 41:16 of a heavenly sanctuary, 41:18 and a heavenly high priest into all the world. 41:21 And off Israel goes, down the field, 41:24 nothing can stop them. 41:25 Satan says, I gotta stop these guys, so what does He do? 41:28 He raises up first literal Israel 41:31 to attack spiritual Israel and then He raises up literal Rome 41:35 to attack spiritual Israel. 41:37 But He finds that every time a Christian dies, 41:40 it's working against him. 41:41 Because, their seed only what? 41:44 Multiplies, so then he says, I've gotta change my tactic, 41:48 and beloved, that introduces us to the second 41:50 of three time prophecies in the Book of Daniel. 41:52 The prophecy of the 1260-years, 41:57 and beloved, this prophecy simply stated, 41:59 that there would rise a power called a little horn. 42:04 And this little horn would seek 42:06 to cast down God's blueprint. 42:09 Are you with me so far? 42:10 Are you on the edge of your seats? 42:12 Is your movie, are you following your movie? 42:15 So the question then becomes how is it, 42:17 how does the devil use this little horn power, 42:20 this, this counterfeit spiritual power 42:23 to cast on God's sanctuary. 42:25 It's very simple, we're gonna put 42:26 our chart back upon the screen again. 42:29 What happened during the Dark Ages? 42:32 That's the 1260 year period. 42:33 What happened? 42:34 The church of the Dark Ages 42:37 cast down the truths that were been taught by the sanctuary. 42:41 Pastor, what do you mean? Very simple, 42:43 the Altar of Sacrifice which represented Christ's sacrifice 42:47 was cast down and replaced with a teaching called Penance. 42:53 Christ sacrifice is not enough 42:55 to pay for your sin, you must pay penance. 42:59 The effectiveness of Christ sacrifice was cast down 43:03 and something was taught in its place. 43:06 Well, what about the Laver which represents baptism? 43:10 The church of the Dark Ages 43:12 said we're gonna substitute infant sprinkling 43:17 in the place of genuine baptism 43:19 that calls for confession and repentance. 43:23 Not only do they do that, 43:25 but they went up into the Holy Place 43:26 and said that the Table of Showbread 43:28 which represents the word of God. 43:30 Man, you can't understand the word of God for yourself, 43:32 only the priest can explain it to you. 43:36 And they say, listen, we're gonna, 43:37 the traditions of the church are more important 43:41 than the word of God. 43:43 Not only do they do that, beloved, 43:45 but they reached up unto the Altar of Incense 43:48 which represents prayer and they said, 43:49 you can't pray to God, 43:51 you have to go through priests. 43:55 In fact, they even created their own 43:58 two compartment room divided by a curtain, okay. 44:05 With a man sitting in the place of God, 44:08 hearing the confessions of other men. 44:11 They put up the light of the church 44:13 thus creating the Dark Ages 44:14 and then they went up into the Most Holy Place 44:16 and took the law and took that Seventh day Sabbath 44:19 and cast it on and put in its place 44:22 a first day of Sabbath. 44:27 Shall we despair, what is God gonna do now. 44:30 Can you see it in your movie? 44:36 Because, beloved listen, 44:37 there was a one more prophecy called the 2300 year prophecy, 44:43 and this prophecy stated that at the end of 2300 years, 44:47 which would be in what year? 44:49 1844, at that time the sanctuary would be what, 44:54 cleansed, and some Bible say, restored. 45:01 So watch this, you know, what God begins to do, 45:05 over a period of 500 years, 45:07 He begins to restore every truth 45:09 that had been cast down during the Dark Ages. 45:12 There was a man by the name of John Wycliffe 45:14 who comes upon a scene in the 1300s. 45:16 And what John Wycliffe does is he translates the Bible 45:19 into the language of the common people, 45:21 thus restoring the Table of Showbread, amen. 45:25 Beloved, if I was, if I was living in the 1300s, 45:27 I've been following John Wycliffe all around. 45:30 But in the 1400s, a man by the name of Martin Luther 45:34 is born and Martin Luther begins 45:36 the Protestant Reformation in the 1500s and, 45:39 and what Martin Luther does is he restores 45:42 the truth that it is the sacrifice of Christ 45:45 that pays for our sins not penance. 45:47 Are you with me? 45:49 If I was living in that time 45:50 I think I would have been a Lutheran. 45:53 Praise God for the Lutheran movement. 45:56 Beloved, n the 1500s a man, by the name of John Calvin 46:00 also comes upon the scene. 46:01 The founder of the Presbyterian movement 46:03 and John Calvin has a special burden for prayer. 46:06 He says, we can go directly to the throne of God 46:09 for ourselves and what John Calvin does, 46:11 beloved, is he effectively restores 46:13 the Altar of Incense. 46:16 In the 1600s, there was the man 46:17 by the name of John Smith 46:19 who upon studying his Bible said, 46:20 wait a minute, you can't baptized incense sprinkling. 46:23 You got to be fully submerged 46:25 and confess before, 46:26 repent before you're baptized. 46:28 He became the founder of the Baptist movement. 46:31 If I was in the 1600s, 46:34 I think I would have been a Baptist. 46:37 In the 1700, beloved, a man, by the name of John Wesley 46:41 comes upon the scene, and John Wesley is the founder 46:43 of the Methodist movement and John Wesley 46:45 has a special burden 46:47 for getting the gospel out into the world 46:49 and he effectively, beloved, 46:50 restores the Seven-branched Candlestick, 46:52 let your light so shine. 46:59 Feel like I'm in a race. 47:03 10 minutes and 23 seconds, beloved, 47:06 one more article of furniture is left to be restored. 47:14 Okay, no, no, no. 47:18 what movements would God call upon the scene 47:23 In the 1800s you're gonna make me, 47:26 you are gonna make me get excited 47:27 all by myself, aren't you? 47:29 You're gonna do it, I can't believe you, 47:32 you're gonna do it. 47:33 What movement would you call upon 47:35 the scene in the 1800s 47:37 to restore the final peace of missing truth. 47:41 Beloved, listen to me, 47:42 you're not a Seventh-day Adventist by accident. 47:47 This movement has a prophetic 47:49 birth certificate, beloved. 47:52 You are not an Adventist by accident, 47:54 you're not some other movement. 47:58 Beloved, God has called you 48:00 for such a time as this, beloved, it is this gospel, 48:06 that's why the first angels message 48:08 begins to go forth with the everlasting gospel 48:10 going into all the world, because it is this gospel, 48:14 this gospel couldn't have been preached 48:16 during the Dark Ages, 48:17 because it had been taken away. 48:18 But by 1844, everything had been restored. 48:21 Beloved, listen to me, 48:22 all Adventists are Baptist, Methodist. 48:28 We just kept taking the truth and moving it on, 48:31 listen, in 1982, there was a football game, 48:35 Cal State versus Stanton, it was called the Play. 48:40 There were 4 seconds left on the clock, 48:42 Cal State was down by one point. 48:45 The band had already begun to celebrate. 48:49 All Stanton had to do was kick the ball off 48:52 and then they figured the game is over. 48:55 What are the odds of the other team 48:56 returning the ball and winning, 48:59 so they kicked the ball off and down the field 49:01 the ball goes and Cal State gets the ball 49:04 and they begin running 49:05 and as the first guy is running 49:07 someone tackles him, but before he hits the ground 49:10 he tosses the ball to his teammate. 49:15 On the other side, 49:17 the band is already marching on the field, 49:19 people are on their feet celebrating. 49:24 The second guy gets the ball 49:27 he's running and the commentators 49:28 because the second guy gets tackles 49:30 but before he hits the ground, he passes the ball on, 49:34 the third guy the same thing, the fourth guy the same thing, 49:37 the fifth guy the same thing, the sixth guy, 49:40 they're screaming at this time, 49:41 everybody is on their feet 49:43 and that sixth guy runs right into the end zone. 49:48 Beloved, listen to me, 49:50 the devil, his band is on the field. 49:55 They think the game is over. 49:58 They think that you as Adventists are a beaten people. 50:02 Beloved, I'm just telling you, 50:04 I'm just saying that God wants us to finish the game. 50:08 That's all I'm saying. 50:10 Beloved, listen to me, 50:13 there is no time left on the clock, okay, 50:21 1844 was the last time prophecy. 50:25 In my mind, I see the angels 50:26 on their feet, or on their wings 50:28 just like people would be on their feet at a game 50:30 and they're cheering for us, 50:31 they're saying, come on, take it into the end time. 50:35 I mean, the end zone. 50:40 Off God's people go, down the field, 50:42 the first angel's message, the second angel's message, 50:44 the third angel's message, beloved, it's all there. 50:46 And beloved, listen to me. I've got to sum this up, 50:48 the three angels messages is nothing more 50:51 than the message of Noah. 50:55 Get in the Ark. 50:58 Okay, now, they didn't get that, 51:01 no, you didn't get it. So let's try it again. 51:05 Get into the Ark! 51:11 Get into the Ark before it's too late. 51:14 Beloved, why? 51:15 Because the seal of God is found in the Ark 51:18 and those who are outside of the Ark 51:20 will be marked for death. 51:32 The Angels with the seven last plagues 51:35 are seen coming out of the Most Holy Place, why? 51:38 Because those who received the plagues 51:40 are those who rejected 51:42 what was found in the Most Holy Place. 51:44 Our message is to get into the Ark. 51:46 Psalm 91 says, "He that dwelleth 51:48 in the secret place of the Most High 51:52 shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" 51:54 and you jump down about 10 verses, 51:56 it tells us that no plague, okay. 52:02 No plague, 52:11 Jesus comes, 52:15 he cracks the sky, the dead are raised. 52:21 They go to heaven for jury duty 52:30 Beloved, listen to me, 52:32 when the judge, when the books were opened 52:34 back in 1844, it was very simply this. 52:36 Satan is accusing God's people 52:38 and the reason God opens the books 52:40 is not to try to condemn you, 52:42 but to prove Satan a liar. 52:45 So that when Satan says, he did this, 52:47 and she did that, God says, 52:49 well, my book says that they repented. 52:56 The books contain key evidence 52:59 to save you not to destroy you. 53:03 So the angels say, just and true are thy ways, 53:05 O God, you judge righteously. 53:07 Now, now when the judgment begins 53:10 at the millennium, what happens, 53:11 beloved, is that the righteous get to see the books 53:15 and they too join the course of angels. 53:17 Just and true are thy ways, O God. 53:19 And now we get to the end of the millennium, 53:21 when God comes down 53:22 and He resurrects the wicked dead. 53:24 And beloved, the Bible, 53:25 where we are told that-- listen, 53:29 when the wicked dead are resurrected, 53:30 in that time this world will turn 53:32 into the biggest movie theater the earth has ever seen. 53:38 We're told that in panoramic view, say that with me. 53:41 Panoramic view, 53:43 everyone will watch the movie, 53:49 Earth's final movie. 53:55 Ellen White says, each actor recalls their role, 53:58 beloved, I want you to, this is reality TV. 54:03 This is no make believe. 54:05 I don't want the wicked looking at me and saying, 54:07 you saw this movie and didn't tell me about it. 54:10 You told me about Spider-man, 54:12 you told me about whatever other movie. 54:14 You told me about Harry Potter, 54:16 you didn't tell me about the movie that counted. 54:22 And beloved, now comes that time 54:24 where God must destroy the wicked 54:25 and I got to do this briefly, 54:26 two minutes left, beloved, time is running out. 54:30 Time is running out. 54:33 God must destroy the wicked, 54:34 but, beloved, understand the reason 54:36 why God uses fire is not because he's mad, 54:39 but because he's love. 54:41 You see, beloved, God is described as a consuming fire, 54:44 but the Song of Solomon tells us 54:45 that fire is like a consuming love. 54:47 You ever been in love before? 54:49 Husbands, please raise your hands. 54:52 Very good, you felt that fire, that's what God is like, 54:55 beloved, He's fire, His city is a city of fire. 54:58 His throne is a throne of fire 55:00 and He wants us to be able to dwell in that fire 55:02 and not be consumed. 55:05 Beloved, if you want to get to the presence of God, 55:07 you better be fireproof. 55:11 And so, beloved, God, 55:12 God just like when God showed Moses 55:14 the burning bush and Moses said, 55:16 how is it that this bush burns, and it is not consumed. 55:18 God was trying to show Moses, listen, 55:20 this is my ideal for humanity. 55:21 He wants us to be able to stand 55:22 in his presence just like Shadrach, 55:24 Meshach and Abednego were thrown in that fire 55:27 and were not consumed. 55:30 Beloved, listen to me, 55:31 it's the righteous that burn forever. 55:43 The wicked are not fireproof, 55:45 they burn up. 55:49 God will not allow it into heaven 55:51 because heaven would be hell for them. 55:53 Do you see how the devil flips it? 55:57 God with those great big arms stretches out 56:00 and embraces the wicked one last time 56:02 and in that embrace the wicked feel the love 56:05 that they have rejected and they say, 56:07 just and true are thy ways, O God. 56:09 There is a unanimous decision to destroy the wicked. 56:14 Beloved, God rebuilds planet earth, 56:18 and the Bible says, 56:19 from Sabbath to Sabbath we will worship God. 56:21 You wanted to know why? 56:23 Because just as Israel, just as Israel was commanded 56:26 to keep the Sabbath as commemoration 56:28 of their delivery from captivity. 56:30 So we will ever keep the Sabbath 56:33 as a reminder of our deliverance from this Earth. 56:39 It's the movie, we have 44 seconds left. 56:44 Beloved, please understand that God has called you 56:50 for such a time as this. 56:53 Stop sitting on the fence, stop sitting on the fence. 56:57 If you've doubted your Adventism, doubt it no more. 57:01 If you've said, I can't give a Bible study, 57:04 I can't understand. 57:05 Listen, please, know that God has a plan for you, listen 57:11 Can you imagine giving this study to somebody 57:13 and just having them hear these words of truth. 57:16 Beloved, listen to me, 57:17 how many believe God can use you. 57:19 You believe God can use you? Pray with me. 57:22 Heavenly Father, we ask to give You, 57:24 please teach us, Lord, what it means 57:29 to love you and to serve you 57:31 and to go into this world with your GPS, 57:37 showing the lost the way to salvation, 57:40 in Jesus precious name we pray. 57:42 Amen and amen. |
