00:24 Welcome to 3ABN's Fall Camp Meeting
00:27 Home Coming 2010, featuring inspired messages 00:31 from your 3ABN family, 00:34 along with uplifting Christian music 00:37 all to prepare your heart for the coming of the Lord. 00:45 These are some of the most wonderful people 00:48 you'll ever want to meet. 00:50 I say that, I love them with all my heart. 00:52 They're so much fun to be with 00:53 and I enjoy being with people 00:55 who love Jesus and are happy. 00:57 And these folk are happy, they're not only happy 00:59 but they're some of the most talented people, 01:01 I think, on planet earth. 01:02 God has gifted them both equally. 01:04 They're a wonderful team and we love you 01:07 and thank you so much for doing the pillars project, 01:09 doing the music, and we look forward to you now here today. 01:12 I need to add one thing, I, what impress me about these two. 01:14 about these two. Its ability and humility. 01:19 There are a lot of people that have ability, 01:20 but they have ability and humility 01:23 and the love of God. When this guy sings, 01:25 his eyes twinkle and the same with lady, 01:28 their eyes just spark because they really believe 01:30 what they're doing. It's not a job for them, 01:32 its ministry and they do it so very, very well. 01:34 Amen. Thank you. 02:10 Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy 02:19 Honor the day 02:23 That our Lord commands us 02:27 to cease our toiling and we obey, 02:38 That we may know Him and learn His patient ways, 02:51 Keeping the Sabbath holy in all our days 03:07 So enter His temple with high thanksgiving 03:17 Worship the Lord and fill up this house 03:25 With your voices ringing, let them be heard 03:35 For we will adore ye 03:42 and lift our hearts in praise 03:50 Keeping the Sabbath holy in all our days 04:06 Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy 04:14 Honor the day, Honor the day 04:20 That our Lord commands us to cease 04:25 our toiling and we obey 04:29 And we obey, so we may know Him 04:41 And learn His patient ways 04:48 Keeping the Sabbath holy in all our days. 05:35 Suspended above the worid that He made 05:42 And below His home in the sky 05:50 God flesh came down to men 05:57 And man raised Him up to die 06:05 And there on the tree 06:09 the destiny of every fallen man, 06:20 Was held by nails, 06:24 driven through his sinless feet and hands. 06:35 Somewhere between heaven and earth 06:43 stood a symbol of grace, Not based on our worid; 06:50 It was there he endured what we deserved 06:58 Oh the cross held the hope of the worid 07:04 Somewhere between heaven and earth 07:13 Somewhere between time and space 07:20 Somewhere between judgment and grace 07:27 He became the sin that He'd never known 07:35 And as the skies turned black, 07:38 his father turned his back 07:42 And for that moment He was left alone 07:49 He was left alone 07:55 Somewhere between heaven and earth 08:02 Stood a symbol of grace Not based on our worid 08:09 It was there He endured what we deserved 08:17 Oh the cross held the hope of the worid 08:24 Somewhere between heaven and earth 08:35 Stood a symbol of grace Not based on our worid 08:43 It was there He endured what we deserved 08:51 Oh the cross held the hope of the worid 08:58 Yes, the cross held the hope of the worid 09:04 Yes, the cross held the hope of the worid 09:13 Somewhere, Somewhere between heaven and earth 09:29 Suspended above the worid that He made 09:39 And below His home in the sky. 09:58 Thank you Reggie and Ladye. 10:00 You know, I get to just scratch the surface of something. 10:04 We were already preparing for Camp Meeting 2011, 10:10 and we've already had some preliminary meetings 10:13 and there are still yet more pillars 10:16 to be discussed and more music 10:21 to be written and to be sung. 10:24 So, we want you to begin working in your mind, 10:29 we're moving Camp Meeting to the first weekend 10:31 in June and you will hear more about 10:33 that from Molly or Danny, 10:34 perhaps from Jim a little bit later. 10:35 But, pillars is something that is still, 10:39 still very much in our hearts and on our minds. 10:42 There are more pillars, there are more things 10:43 we need to rectify and verify 10:49 and take a look at them. 10:50 We're going to be looking at that next spring 10:51 and if we pray hard and work real hard, 10:53 there will be a second pillar CD 10:55 which we are also very, very excited about. 10:58 So, keep those things in your mind 10:59 and in your prayers. It is my privilege, 11:02 you know when you, when you baptize people 11:04 and you see them make good. 11:05 It makes you feel good. 11:07 I have baptized Yvonne Lewis 25 years ago. 11:10 I held her down a little bit longer, 11:11 to make sure that she was good and baptized, 11:14 but she's come up and she has done really, 11:17 really well. And we've become good friends, 11:19 when she produced her CD, I was sort of the 11:22 spiritual adviser for that CD, 11:24 but I made sure, I got her down 11:25 and got her good and wet. So that the spirit of the Lord 11:27 was on her and we... 11:33 But it was a nice, long heart if you know 11:34 when you take them, just throw them down 11:36 and bring him back up. 11:37 Plus she got good and wet 11:38 and the spirit of God has been on her. 11:39 She is a good friend, and mostly she loves 11:43 the Lord and that's what it's all about, 11:45 loving Jesus and serving Him, Yvonne Lewis. 11:50 Good evening, I came back to the Lord. 11:54 I am a third generation Adventist 11:56 and I left the church for several years 11:59 and was in the music business 12:00 and came back to the Lord through 12:02 Pastor Murray's ministry. And I wish I could say 12:06 that since then. I wish I could say 12:08 that I have been a perfect Christian 12:10 but I haven't. I wish I could say 12:12 that I haven't sinned at all, but I have. 12:15 And each of us has that sin that so easily beset us. 12:20 But isn't it wonderful to know that 12:24 we serve a savior that will forgive us. 12:26 That we can say Lord, I've messed up, 12:29 I've blown it, please forgive me just once more. 13:07 Here I am again; I am on my knees again 13:15 But these are different tears 13:19 from a brand new set of scars 13:23 Now they may look the same, 13:27 but these are not the same 13:32 These are dirty tears, so I can't see where you are 13:40 But I pray you'll understand 13:44 Lord, I pray you'll take my hand 13:48 And I pray this to the place 13:52 In the shelter of your grace 13:56 I know I don't deserve another chance 14:02 But I am sorry, I blew it, I failed you once again 14:12 All the things I said I was, I haven't been 14:18 And I know that you've heard this a million times before 14:29 But I need you to forgive me just once more. 14:37 I need you to forgive me, I made promises 14:46 Lots of promises, tied with ropes of sand 14:55 So they never last for long And I am ashamed to ask 15:03 But I've just got to ask oh Lord, 15:08 may I start again? Will you carry me back home? 15:16 Will you look beyond the sin 15:19 To this helpless fool within 15:23 Can you take what I've abused 15:26 And make formidable again So you can use 15:31 I admit, I don't deserve another chance 15:38 Oh! But I am sorry I blew it, 15:44 I failed you once again 15:48 All the things I said I was, I haven't been 15:54 And I know that you've heard this 16:00 A million times before 16:06 But I need you to forgive me just once more 16:18 Can you look beyond the sin 16:21 To this helpless fool within 16:26 Can you take what I've abused 16:28 And make formidable again, so you can use 16:34 I agree I don't deserve another chance 16:40 Oh! But I am sorry I blew it 16:46 I failed you once again 16:49 All the things I said I was, I haven't been 16:56 And I know that you've heard this 17:02 A million times before 17:08 But I need you to forgive me just once more 17:16 I need you to forgive me just once more, 17:28 Lord, I need you to forgive me 17:33 Just once more... 17:53 Amen. Thank you Dr. Yvonne Lewis. 17:57 Well, I am out here with my daughter Melody 17:59 and she just did a new project. 18:02 A new album, I am old enough to call it albums, 18:05 anybody still think about albums? 18:07 New CD project. Thank you somebody admitted it. 18:10 Okay, a new CD project and she has some new songs, 18:13 several of them you wrote some songs. 18:16 And then there are some other ones, 18:17 Melody, that I guess songs you just picked out 18:20 that you like. And I wanted to ask you 18:24 a little bit about this particular song I tremble, 18:27 where did you get this from? 18:29 Just you heard it? 18:30 Actually, it was from a publishing company 18:34 and they had sent it to me years ago 18:36 and for some reason it didn't hit me as one 18:38 I wanted to record and then I was just 18:41 looking through my computer, 18:43 at all the stuff I had, it was back like 2005. 18:46 Okay. And there it was, I'm like well... 18:48 why didn't I record that before yeah. 18:50 Pretty song and when we come before God 18:51 that's really what we should do. 18:53 I mean, we come, we see our unworthiness 18:55 compared to his worthiness and it really is, 18:58 we come with fear and trembling. 19:00 But, what I am gonna do is 19:02 I am gonna try to sing it with her. 19:04 We practiced it a while ago, 19:05 it's the first time she wants me to sing 19:07 some of it with her and I said, 19:08 you know what? Only a dad that loves 19:10 her daughter would put himself 19:11 on international television not really know a song. 19:14 And so out here, but I'm just going to help 19:16 her some on the chorus. Beautiful song "I tremble." 19:32 The background is Reggie, 19:33 Ladye and Yvonne, the background singers. 19:40 Lord, it's with a simple reverence 19:44 That I come into your presence 19:50 Whispering the name that calms all fear 19:58 And I'm filled with such emotion 20:02 At Your mercy and devotion 20:07 To think that You would come and meet me here 20:15 Lord I tremble.. 20:20 At the very thought of Calvary 20:25 Where You chose me over life 20:29 As you suffered willingly Lord I tremble.. 20:37 At the way I'm undeserving of 20:42 The love You came to give 20:45 And the blood that makes me worthy 20:50 Lord I tremble.. 20:58 Let me not forget this temple 21:02 Is transformed into a throne room 21:07 And through Your name my soul is ushered in 21:14 So let me come to You in wonder 21:18 Let my heart still pound like thunder 21:22 At the way Your grace has found me once again 21:31 Lord I tremble.. 21:35 At the very thought of Calvary 21:39 Where You chose me over life 21:43 As you suffered willingly Lord I tremble.. 21:51 At the way I'm undeserving of 21:56 The love You came to give 22:00 And Your blood that makes me worthy 22:04 Lord I tremble at the way your love has saved me 22:10 And your precious grace forgave me 22:14 Let me never take for granted who you are 22:22 Lord I tremble.. 22:27 At the very thought of Calvary 22:31 Where You chose me over life 22:36 As you suffered willingly Lord I tremble.. 22:44 At the way I'm undeserving of 22:48 The love You came to give 22:52 And Your blood that makes me worthy 22:57 Lord I tremble... 23:09 Lord I tremble... Amen. 23:29 It does not matter where you're starting 23:36 But friend it matters where you end 23:45 We're a walking soul forever 23:53 And there's only one road that leads to Him 24:01 The way is straight, the path is narrow 24:09 And though sometimes it seems we walk alone 24:17 But the unseen hand is there to lead us 24:24 Just follow Jesus, He knows the way home 24:40 He never says, we will not suffer 24:49 And He never says we will fail no more 24:57 He never said we're spared the battle 25:05 But he said he's already won the war 25:13 The way is straight, the path is narrow 25:21 And though sometimes it seems we walk alone 25:28 But the unseen hand is there to lead us 25:36 Just follow Jesus, He knows the way home 25:45 The way is straight, the path is narrow 25:53 And though sometimes it seems we walk alone 26:00 But the unseen hand is there to lead us 26:08 Just follow Jesus, He knows the way home 26:16 Just follow Jesus, He knows the way home. Amen. 26:35 You know, when you think about what song to sing. 26:38 I had received a number of phone calls 26:40 about this song I am gonna share with you. 26:43 Got a phone call from a young lady one day, 26:45 didn't know her age but you know 26:46 when you don't know a woman's age 26:47 you say young lady. And, she said to me, 26:51 I need to have that song 26:54 because I'm planning my funeral. 26:56 I said have you received bad news or something 27:00 from your doctor. Is there something 27:02 terminal about your illness, 27:04 she says no, I'm fine. 27:05 So I said, why are you planning your funeral? 27:08 Are you gonna die soon? 27:09 She says no, I don't know, may be not. 27:11 I said so, what's the whole deal 27:13 about planning your funeral? 27:14 She said well you know what, 27:15 my children left the church many years ago 27:18 and no matter what I do, 27:19 I just can't get them to come back. 27:22 But she says I know, 27:23 when I die, they'll be at my funeral. 27:25 And I want them to hear the message of this song. 27:28 And you know friends, no matter what you do 27:30 in life I think the number one thing 27:32 that everyone of us wants to be a reality 27:35 in our lives is that when Jesus comes 27:37 the songs says it best, "Just Be There." 27:58 Cradled in my arms, I held you 28:05 And I loved you more with each day passing by 28:13 Sharing joy, sharing pain 28:17 Through the sunshine and the rain 28:22 I can't believe it's time to say goodbye 28:30 I don't know what's the future brings you 28:37 But I hope that you will keep heaven as your goal 28:45 For I taught you how to pray 28:49 And I made sure you knew the way 28:53 So remember my request before you go 29:01 Just be there, when we finally make it home 29:09 And when we stand before the throne 29:13 Just be there, 29:17 So when I turn around to see 29:21 If you'll be standing next to me 29:28 Just be there. 29:46 It's not an easy road you're traveling 29:53 But every place that you go Jesus has been 30:01 So when you find you made a turn, 30:05 forgetting what you learned 30:10 You may have to start all over again 30:18 It's not an easy load you're wearing 30:25 But the trials of your faith will make you strong 30:32 Facing danger unaware, 30:37 he won't allow what you can't bear 30:41 So my prayer is that your faith will lead you on 30:48 Just be there, when we finally make it home 30:57 And when we stand before God's throne, just be there 31:04 So when I turn around to see 31:09 if you'll be standing next to me 31:17 Just be there, 31:25 will you be standing next to me 31:33 Just be there, just be there. 31:53 Pastor Murray, you're gonna bless us 31:55 with some music? I wanna say, 31:56 I appreciate your music, I love your CD that 31:59 you got and this kind of songs that you do 32:02 and the way you do them, God has gifted you. 32:04 You're really blessed, I am proud to know you 32:06 I talked a little bit about 32:08 John and Angie awhile ago. 32:09 I love you with all my heart, 32:11 I love you as a brother 32:12 and you are a brother to me. 32:14 I respect you as much as anybody on earth. 32:16 Your love for Jesus, 32:18 your personality as a pastor. 32:22 God has gifted you and now your music is something 32:25 you kind of held back for a lot of years, 32:28 but you've been singing it the last few years. 32:30 So, thank you for how you blessed me 32:32 and I love you and I wanna hug you right here. 32:34 Okay. Alright, God bless. 32:39 The words of this song come from 32:40 Ephesians chapter 6, where Paul gave counsel 32:44 to the church of Ephesus to put on the whole armor. 32:48 You know, cover yourself totally 32:50 and prepare yourself for battle. 32:52 And then having done all to stand, simply stand. 33:15 You just stand, when all your courage seems to fail, 33:25 Stand, when it seems that evil will prevail, 33:33 Stand, for He shows us in detail 33:39 That His love will never fail 33:42 And He will stand with us, you just stand 33:50 When you said all that you can say 33:55 Stand, and trust the Lord to make way 34:03 Stand, and live your life from day to day 34:09 Trust God to make a way And pull you through it 34:16 For God has not given us a spirit of fear 34:20 He's given us love and power 34:25 The courage to resist the tempter's snare 34:31 Be not weary in doing well For only time will tell 34:40 The work He's begun in you 34:44 Will help to see you through 34:47 You know He's word is true 34:50 And everything He promised He will do 34:54 So having done all to stand, stand, 35:04 you just stand, 35:08 when you feel no one's on your side 35:13 Stand, defy the urge to run and hide 35:21 Stand, though gloom and darkness override 35:28 Trust God to turn the tide 35:31 And pull you through, He'll do it... 35:34 In the name of Jesus stand 35:38 For He is always there for you 35:43 Stand, and He will lead you safely through 35:51 Stand, and though you know not what to do 35:58 Know that he is looking out for you 36:01 And he won't fail you 36:05 For God has not given us the spirit of fear 36:09 He's given us love and power 36:14 The courage to resist the tempter's snare 36:20 Be not weary in doing well For only time will tell 36:29 The work he's begun in you 36:32 Will help to see you through 36:36 You know God's word is true 36:39 And everything He promised, he will do 36:43 So having done all just stand, stand 36:53 Plant your feet and stand. Amen. 37:10 Good afternoon. I am Pam Rhodes, 37:14 and this is my husband, Jimmy. 37:17 Who kind of knows how to play the piano, 37:20 just a little. Actually he plays anything 37:24 his hands touch, and he's always been a keyboard, 37:29 piano, organ. He plays several brass instruments 37:34 and the other day. You know, that's not enough 37:36 the other day he took the violin off the wall 37:39 and began to play the violin. 37:40 I said that's just too much. 37:42 That's just not fair that you're that talented, 37:45 but I love him and we travel together, 37:48 we do concerts all over the United States. 37:51 One of our most favorite things 37:53 to do is to come here to 3ABN, 37:56 and to minister through our music. 37:58 So we hope this song will put a little spring 38:01 in your step and put a smile on your face 38:05 and just praise the Lord 38:06 for his goodness. "Jesus loves me." 38:18 Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me 38:24 Loves me this I know Gave Himself to die for me 38:37 Because he loves me so 38:43 How often have I failed him, 38:51 struggling hear me Lord. 38:57 How often have I stumbled in my distress and woe 39:10 I know that He will take me in His arms again 39:23 And never shall forsake me in my alarm or pain 39:35 How often have I failed my Lord along my journey 39:42 How often have I stumbled 39:44 in my struggle in this life here below 39:49 And then I know He'll take me in His arms again 39:53 and not forsake me in my alarm or pain 39:56 Because He loves me Yes He loves me so. 40:02 How often have I failed my Lord along my journey 40:08 How often have I stumbled 40:11 in my struggle in this life here below 40:15 And then I know He'll take me in His arms again 40:19 and not forsake me 40:21 In my alarm or pain Because He loves me 40:24 Oh, yes He loves me so. 40:36 People often asks us here, 40:38 it seems like you guys have fun 40:40 and really like each other. And we actually do, 40:47 we really do. It's nice to go to work at a place 40:54 where you love the people you work with. 40:57 Everybody is not afforded that privilege, 40:59 but we do like each other. 41:01 We hangout with each other, 41:03 I didn't think that I would work at 3ABN 41:06 10 hours a day and then go home 41:08 and turn on 3ABN. But what we do. 41:13 I did not know Bruce and Tammy 41:16 when I first got here. 41:19 But as we got to know them, 41:23 they're wonderful people. Bruce has an interesting 41:25 sense of humor, you got to get to know him, 41:28 but he is a decent guy sitting right there. 41:29 He is a good guy and he married the perfect mate, 41:33 because Tammy has a really interesting 41:37 sense of humor. She is a funny person 41:41 and she, once we were sitting 41:42 we just began talking. I realized that 41:44 she's a jokester. She really, really is. 41:49 One day my wife and I were talking 41:51 and my wife said, you know, you're gonna burn. 41:54 And I said, where did you get that from. 41:56 She said from Tammy. 42:01 They had this little running joke, 42:03 all men are gonna burn. 42:06 I'm sorry that you are all selfish, 42:07 but men all are. I told your wife, 42:13 I said CA is a wonderful man. 42:15 He is a wonderful pastor, it's a shame 42:17 he's gonna burn. But I know there is selfishness 42:21 down in him somewhere as there is in all men. 42:24 So Bruce you're going to burn. 42:28 It's a shame. But that's the kind of fun we have, 42:30 we do have fun together. 42:32 And as I said before, it's fun in the Lord. 42:34 You know, we have good fun in the Lord 42:36 and it makes working at 3ABN fun for us. 42:39 Because televisión is not easy work, 42:41 it may seem so but it is not. 42:43 There is a lot of work, lot of people 42:45 meeting deadlines; and doing a lot of things. 42:47 And so when you can bring some laughter 42:49 and some love into it, 42:50 it makes it that much more pleasant. 42:51 Tammy is a loving person, a sweet person 42:54 and with a beautiful gift and very pure 42:58 and wonderful voice. Thank you. 42:59 We thank you for your work here at 3ABN. 43:20 I'll tell of the Savior I'll tell of His favor 43:33 I'll tell it Lord, wherever I may go 43:47 I'll count every blessing I'll go on confessing 44:01 I'll tell it Lord, wherever I may go 44:15 What He is to you Maybe you cannot see 44:29 But this thing I know He's everything to me 44:42 Oh, He'll be there, yes, meet me there 44:50 And then go where He's prepared 44:57 I'll tell it Lord, wherever I may go 45:10 And if I were dying With just one word to say 45:24 I'd speak it for Jesus then breathe my life away 45:39 He'll be there, yes meet me there 45:45 And then go where He's prepared 45:52 I'll tell it Lord, wherever I may go. 46:22 Alright, thank you Tamara May. 46:25 Alright, that's her middle name 46:27 in case you didn't know. 46:32 Tamara may, we had a, when Tammy was born in 1959, 46:38 I guess she doesn't mind me telling 46:40 her age because, well that's pretty young. 46:43 Well, I mean that's pretty... 46:46 well that is if you were born in '50 or '51 46:49 that's younger or 45 or something it's younger. 46:53 And when she was born that name 46:55 Tammy was very popular, several people even 46:58 in this little town, I got people, 47:01 they're waving at me, what did I do wrong. 47:03 Oh oh, she is behind me, sorry, 47:06 when she was, turn her mic off though, 47:08 when she was born several, Tammy was popular, 47:13 because they had that movie I think it was, 47:15 and the song "I hear the cotton words 47:17 whispering above Tammy," 47:19 you probably remember that. 47:21 But doctor that we had was a foreign doctor and so, 47:24 the lady that had a baby the same time 47:27 as our mother did with this Tammy. 47:30 Said they wanted her name Tamara 47:32 and he didn't couldn't understand Tamara 47:34 so they put on her birth certificate Tambra 47:37 it was Tambra. She may be the only 47:39 Tambra around, but did you get Tamara or Tammy. 47:43 Tamara. Tamara, because we got Tommy as Tommy, 47:49 Danny as Danny, Ronnie as Ronnie 47:52 and Kenny, he got Kenneth though because 47:53 we have an uncle named Kenneth. 47:56 Anyway, I am not saying nothing bad about 47:57 you Tammy. Okay well, may be I shouldn't say 48:01 that I'm shocked at his age that he could 48:03 remember what year I was born. 48:09 It's gonna be very hard to get spiritual in these 48:12 last few minutes again Tammy, 48:14 after that but we'll try. 48:17 I was sitting around the house some months ago 48:20 and I was thinking, and I was saying to the Lord. 48:24 Lord, I wish, you're so good to me, 48:26 I wish that I had something to give you 48:29 but I don't have anything, 48:30 everything that I have is yours. 48:32 And it's like the Lord suddenly gave me 48:35 this impressión, just give me all your praise 48:38 and I said, you know that's really the only 48:39 thing that we have is our praise. 48:41 So, I just did a new CD project 48:44 and this is one of the songs we put on. 48:51 All my praise, I give you all my praise 49:03 That's all I have to offer you 49:14 I now build a sanctuary deep within my heart 49:27 And all my praise I offer up to you 49:34 And I decided to tell the Lord that I loved Him 49:37 I love you Lord, oh how I love you Lord 49:51 I bear my heart and soul to you 50:01 I am an empty, broken vessel 50:07 Filled with hurt and pain inside 50:13 Still I offer all my praise to you 50:26 Fill me Lord, oh please fill me Lord 50:38 With your Holy Spirit, fill me now 50:49 For I long for your anointing 50:55 That I may work for you 51:02 Feel me Lord, touch me Lord 51:09 Just now and all of my praise 51:19 I give you all my praise 51:28 That's all I have to offer you 51:39 I now build a sanctuary deep within my heart 51:52 And all my praise I offer to you 52:04 And all my praise I offer to you 52:20 All my praise.
