the scares in his hand

In Zechariah the 13th

chapter verse 6,
there will be some there;

who have not heard
of the complete gospel.
00:09:13.23\00:09:17.16
They will say what
are these wounds in thine
00:09:18.53\00:09:22.13
hands? Oh, these are
the wounds where with
00:09:22.13\00:09:26.90
I was wounded in
the house of my friends.
00:09:26.90\00:09:33.43
What friends? So these
signs are a reminder of

redemption, the
cost of redemption.

These signs are, these
scares are also reminders

of submission. He will
be known as the humble one.

You look at his scares
and he will know and be

reminded that
this is the humble one,

in contrast to
Satan the proud one.

And that's why in
First Corinthians 15:28

it says, And after he
has put down all power

to God. This is

John 16 beginning
with verse 13 and 14.

Jesus is talking
about the Holy Spirit and
00:11:29.86\00:11:33.23
he refers to the Holy
Spirit with the pronoun He,
00:11:33.23\00:11:39.13
eight times. When he,
the Spirit of truth is come,
00:11:39.13\00:11:44.10
he shall speak; he
shall glorify me and so on.
00:11:44.10\00:11:50.43
The personal pronoun
he, the Holy Spirit is
00:11:50.43\00:11:55.90
a person, amen, and
has a personality like
00:11:55.90\00:12:01.56
the father and the
son, and so this morning
00:12:01.56\00:12:04.56
I want you to
think of him as a person.

And Paul, when he
talks about giving gifts

the Holy Spirit. Also
refers to the Holy Spirit

as he, he will give
gifts as he chooses.

doesn't look at what we do

spirit in which we do it.

Didn't Jesus take

And so the Holy Spirit
gives gifts as he wills,

verses 13 and 14 in John 16.

Jesus is saying when
he, the Spirit of truth,

Anybody that speaks a
lot about the Holy Spirit,

Spirit. He shall not speak of

He says what he hears,

he does what he is asked to do.

And what he shall
hear, that shall he speak:

you things to come.

Jesus says, not himself.

solve this problem and

there was a counsel of
peace among the Father,

the Son and the Holy

was there also
in that discussion,

making decisions.
Then we go from there

to creation. What
does it say in Genesis?

In the beginning
God created the heavens

and the earth, right,
and the spirit was there

Hovered over the waters.

The Holy Spirit was
there at creation, yes.

And in Genesis it also
says, yes, that to come,

let us God says, let
us make man in our image

and after our
likeness. And that includes
00:16:28.00\00:16:36.03
being created in order
to reflect the Holy Spirit.

Wasn't just let us
create meaning father, son.

Let us create plural
father, son, Holy Spirit

and the Holy
Spirit was there, yes.

book of Job, Job says,

Jesus talks to Nicodemus

and what did He tell
him? you must be born

of water and the
spirit, yes, because when Adam

sinned his
spiritual nature died.
00:18:06.56\00:18:11.40
We are dead, it had
to be a new creation
00:18:11.40\00:18:16.03
as Paul says, that
all we are a new what?
00:18:16.03\00:18:19.50
Creation, oh, yes, by
the power of the Holy Spirit.

Then we come down
quickly through our

scripture and we come
to Noah and the flood.

You know Jesus
said, He that blasphemes

the Holy Spirit that
sin cannot be forgiven,

right. Well, that
word blasphemy is a broad
00:18:50.50\00:18:55.16
term because, yes,
you read that in Mark 3:29
00:18:55.16\00:18:59.73
but you go to
Acts 13:45 and it talks
00:18:59.73\00:19:03.60
about contradicting the spirit.
00:19:03.60\00:19:07.13
Oh, turning against the spirit.
00:19:07.13\00:19:13.23
Contradicting him,
working against him,
00:19:13.23\00:19:17.96
all of that is
included and that cannot
00:19:17.96\00:19:21.60
be forgiven. When
you go to the time of the
00:19:21.60\00:19:25.86
flood what did they
do? They ignored the
00:19:25.86\00:19:30.03
Holy Spirit, they
turned against the Holy Spirit

and they didn't
listen to the Holy Spirit.

And the Holy Spirit
longsuffering as he is,

waited a 120 years
and finally what happened?

It grieved God
including the Holy Spirit.

If the Holy Spirit
is a person and as a

personality and
he is like the father

and the son then he has
emotional feelings also,

right, yes. Emotional
pain and the Holy Spirit

was grieved and
that's why we are told grieve

not the Holy Spirit.
It hurt the Holy Spirit.

After 120 years
mercy came to its end.

There is an end to
mercy. It has its limits and the

Holy Spirit was hurt
and grieved and was sorry

the creation of mankind.

fine, I'm withdrawing.

was found faithful and

fire by night and the
Holy Spirit guided them.

He was there. Then
of course you come down

to the time of David.
David says, in Psalm 139,

the Holy Spirit comes,

Spirit works very quietly.

story or two with you

control the Holy Spirit,

and the Holy Spirit says

and he doesn't understand

spirit caught Philip up, yes,

camp or labor camp.

Concentration
camps, labor camps,

the end result is the same.

Somebody says they were
in a concentration camp,

yeah, they will
have a number tattooed

on their arm. And it
was usually the gas chamber.

But with labor camp
the end result as they say

they work you to death.

camp, first of all up in

And what happened there

When we got to Leipzig
suddenly I found myself
