This young lady accidentally
came across our program.

listening and all of a sudden

one day she thought I
hear Jesus about Jesus,

I've never heard about Jesus
before she ran into her bedroom

locked the door, turned off
the light climbed under covers

and she began listening. Well,
she fell in love with Jesus.

She gave her heart to
Jesus and then one day

a voice says, you
need to tell your father,

But God if I tell my father,

I could be killed or he
kick me out of the house

This went on for some
weeks and she just didn't know

what to do. It
bothered her so much

this voice kept
saying, tell your father,

She called her father

police caught Max

and they threw him into
prison. Well Max was in prison

he wasn't there too long,
but while he was in prison

he noticed, he
noticed that everybody

who went to church on
Sunday, they didn't have to work

on Sunday. He said aha.

I'm gonna go to

Then as he is going
to church on Sunday,

he notices the people
who go to church on Saturday

there in prison,
they don't have to what?

a particular religious group

Sabbath. All of a sudden

and Max thinks it's the cops,

and there was 20 young people,

say we've come here to join

three weeks, and then one day

and Max got so upset. He
just couldn't stand this,

the hill and he is blowing off

is shooting everything

He goes and takes his tie

marching down the hill,

And then he says look,

good, in this one area way up

far in India, in the kind
of that North East of India.

A young lady heard our
program she fell in love with

Jesus Christ. All
these people are animists,

you know they worship
the rocks and the stars

and the trees and
all of these things.

She heard our program,
fell in love with Jesus says,

I'm going to go to
church. Well the only problem

you see was church was a
long ways away from there.

And she had to take a
bus and it take all day long,

all day long. The
neighbor said, you can't go

because you keep
silkworms for the government.

See, that was a very
lucrative business taking care

of silkworms and silkworms
need to be fed fresh mulberry

day. You can't leave,

she says I'm
going to follow Jesus,

I've learned
about the Sabbath truth

and Jesus will take care
of me, she got in the bus

and she left. Well
now the neighbors think,

we've got to do
something we can't have her

loose her contracts so
we are going to help her.

They got up
early Saturday morning

next meal, they gathered

I met Ruben down in Kenya.

as a Seventh-day Adventist.

else to do with this religion

and he left. He
became a truck driver.

said I did all the things

do. He said one day

he said the
company asked me, he said

was a preacher
taking about Jesus Christ.

And this preacher said
you need to accept Jesus now,

salvation. Accept him right now

over and turns off the radio.

They don't want to
hear anything about Jesus,

moment on Ruben side

lion, right in the window.

made him a little bit nervous.

Now this lion goes out,
he walks out in front of them

and he comes up and he puts
his paws right upon the front.

And he look at, both of
them, stares in at them,

back. He walks back

distance back and he sits there

a while as a mother
and some cubs join him.

minute and then he starts

grabbed Ruben's partner

was a come to Jesus moment

being eaten by the lion.

there the lions comes back up

on the inside of the dash

praying. Lion backs up again.

from the other side

minute. And then he takes off

upon the dashboard flips upon

vehicle where he goes to sleep

night. The next morning

to chase off lions

truck and a little tiny lady

who was in this
car, little tiny lady

and Ruben is 6 foot 2
or 6 foot 3 towers over me.

She gets out, she pokes
her finger in Ruben's chest

and says are you a Christian?
Well Ruben said a-a-a yes.

She says, you need to
go home and study and pray

and she turned and
got into her car and left.

interesting thing to say?

says that the devil

going around seeking whom he may

devour. Ruben had a real example

him. Ruben came to Jesus

that day and he's been
faithful in the last three years

now he is serving Jesus
as a literature evangelist

all over Kenya. He
was good to his word.

sisters, are you faithful

young lady in a particular

she said in all of my
life there was any other

God's other than
Hinduism, and Buddhism.

But, you've
introduced me to Jesus Christ.

Oh she says thank you
for allowing me to taste

the sweetness of God. Oh
we get I just can't tell you

the number of the
letters we get 100's

and 1000's plus letters
each year and for these people

you know just a stamp may
cost a week salary or more.

In some cases, it
means life or death

it's so precious to them

We received a letter
and basically this idea

are so in love they hear

first time and they will say

with him asked him not about

his doctrinal stands,

not about his love for
God. They wanted to know,

are you vegan or

guidance of its preeminent

the 10th horn was the Huns.

And Alonzo T. Jones in
the Ministerial Institute,

before the General
Conference session,

came up with the
idea and proposed the idea

that the 10th horn
was indeed not the Huns,

but the Alamanni.

And you wouldn't
believe that that little change

split the
brethren into two camps

in fact the
church was so divided,

We're told from the records
that people would run down

the street and grab an
Adventist pastor by the

tie and say, are you

A.T. Jones of ransacking

history and
ripping the church apart.

He said, we've
believed this all our years,

keep on believing it,

change what we believe,

it makes us look
bad before the world.

three TVs, three separate

football games. To go

dinner. I thought it was
the most wonderful thing,

because when I came
home my dad was watching

that, to get to my bedroom

And I envied new Adventists

who grew up in
an Adventist home.

And so it is society
and the love of Jesus that

keeps fueling church.
