We have... 00:50 And all these people are with us. 00:52 Amen. And we're looking forward to a wonderful Sabbath here. 00:55 A little pre-taste of heaven. Boy it is, too. 00:57 And I love camp meetings - that's right - at 3ABN, 00:59 and part of it's because we get to meet so many of you 01:02 and it's wonderful. We're hoping tomorrow's a big day. 01:04 If we haven't got the... I always tell people: 01:06 if we haven't got... if you want to hug our neck or 01:08 shake our hands or if you want to shake our neck 01:10 and hug our hands it's up to you. 01:12 Whatever... but we'd like to get to know you. 01:14 Find out a little bit about you. You see us on television 01:17 many times but it's nice getting to know where you're from 01:19 and some of you have come and I've already heard 01:22 testimonies of how the ministry of 3ABN has been a blessing 01:26 in your life. And this is not our ministry. 01:29 We realize that. This is God's ministry. 01:31 But it's all of ours - including all of you here 01:34 and the folks at home. Because of your support 01:37 3ABN continues to take this gospel of the kingdom 01:40 into all the world. So, Fall Camp Meeting... 01:42 It's more of a down home and usually we have a little smaller 01:46 group. Kids are in school and a lot of things are happening. 01:48 But it's a very personal... and we can kind of just 01:50 do things from the heart and we enjoy it. 01:54 And we're looking forward tonight... last night... 01:56 Were you all? How many was here last night? 01:58 OK. Anybody here for the first time tonight? 02:00 You weren't here last night? OK. 02:02 Several of you... We're glad that you're here. 02:04 We were blessed by Elder Jack and then also through the music. 02:07 So tonight we're going to have some more music 02:09 in just a little bit. That's right. 02:10 And so I look forward to this, Jim. 02:12 And Elder Blanco's going to be ministering to us again. 02:16 We're going to hear another of his series that he's presenting. 02:19 And I think he really demonstrated the love of God 02:23 last night, didn't he? 02:25 I felt that when he shared that personal story 02:29 concerning the loss of his son. 02:32 Fifty-one years old. 02:34 I thought my, you know, that brings it close to home 02:38 and you begin to realize that God is hurting because 02:42 of all the sin and sorrow that's in this world today. 02:46 And... but the great news is that we have a Savior. 02:50 Amen. And we're going to be redeemed... we ARE redeemed 02:53 if we've accepted Him. And we're going to one of these days 02:57 be caught up in the clouds of glory 02:59 and we're going to spend eternity with our Lord. 03:01 And we look forward to it. 03:03 Well heaven is not heaven until God's people are home... 03:05 God's children are home, right? That's right. 03:07 So what we've been using as a theme song 03:09 is a song that we started... I mentioned last night 03:12 is a song that we started singing when we first 03:14 started building the uplink center which is about a mile 03:17 or two north of here. 03:19 When we... I see brother Kenny is out here. He drove a lot 03:22 of nails in that first building, you know. Yes, that's right. 03:24 And brother Ronnie and Tommy, everybody helped out there. 03:27 Families and people came and we would go out on... 03:30 Bruce - Bruce Chance - was out there. 03:32 I don't know if Tammy helped us or not, but Bruce did 03:35 anyway out there. Tammy... Tammy probably helped 03:37 in some way, you know... but she didn't get up on... 03:40 She encouraged you. She didn't get up on the roof and do all 03:41 the climbing around all that stuff that Kenny did up there. 03:44 We put him at the peak because He was better coordinated 03:46 than the rest of us. I've seen him up there before 03:48 when you were building your house - that's right - 03:50 he was in those rafters. Yes. But we used to get together 03:53 and sing the song Holy Ground because we still believe 03:57 that we're standing on holy ground. 03:59 So we want you all to sing this with us right now. 04:01 Just the chorus of Holy Ground. 05:47 Pastor Lomacang, would you lead us in prayer? 05:50 Let us bow our heads. 05:53 Our gracious Father in Heaven, 05:54 this evening, Lord, we... we do the first thing: 05:57 we dedicate ourselves to You. Amen. 06:00 And we rededicate our hearts, Lord, 06:02 to be receptive tonight to the voice of Your Holy Spirit. 06:07 Father, we have plans we have written down on paper 06:10 and our hearts are geared to move in a particular direction, 06:13 but Father, we want these meetings tonight 06:16 to glorify You and honor Your holy name. 06:18 So, Lord, keep us in Your presence 06:21 ever covered by Your righteousness. 06:23 And may all that is said and done here tonight, 06:25 Father, do one thing: 06:27 glorify Your holy and wonderful name. 06:30 We pray that You'll anoint each person tonight 06:33 that's been called to be a minister... 06:35 whether through song or through the word. 06:37 Even the words of testimony when we speak about the advancement 06:40 of 3ABN. Father, may all the glory go to You. 06:44 And strengthen each of the human vessels 06:47 that Father tonight Your glory may be seen 06:50 for You through us. And in the process all we ask, Lord, 06:53 is that You bless us. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. 06:59 Our first guest tonight... I won't say guest... but 07:03 our folks that going to bring us... the musicians, 07:05 brother and sister... Pam and Jim Rhodes. 07:08 And I want to say something now. 07:12 Before you leave and she's doing a track, right? 07:15 Why don't you come up here just a second, Jim. OK? 07:17 I want to say something about these folks. Pam, come on up. 07:20 She's a little leery. She never knows what I'm going to say. 07:23 But... But I wonder why; I can't imagine what she... 07:26 But I do... We laugh. I'm a laugher, 07:31 and I want to tell you something: 07:32 these folk... I love being around them 07:34 because they know how to laugh. 07:36 And they laugh because they have a reason: 07:38 because they know Jesus. They've submitted, committed 07:40 their life to him and they're happy. 07:42 We ought to be... I always say Seventh-day Adventists 07:45 Christians - but all of us if we're Christians - 07:46 ought to be the happiest, most excited people on planet earth. 07:50 Jim has gone through several things recently. 07:53 But... health problems and you had a little accident 07:56 with your leg and you just keep ticking. 07:58 You keep going forward; you don't get discouraged 08:00 and you encourage me with that. She's been with 3ABN now about 5 years 13:38 ministering to us. And she's got a beautiful song 13:42 that she's going to sing for us now. 13:44 And something I've found about Yvonne... 13:47 the more we get to know her the more we appreciate her. 13:50 So I'm going to ask Yvonne to come now. 13:57 Good evening. 14:00 Acts 4:12 says "Neither is there salvation in any other 14:04 for there is no other name under heaven 14:07 given among men whereby we must be saved. " 14:09 That name is Jesus. 14:12 There is salvation in that name. 14:15 There's healing in that name. 14:17 There's deliverance in that name. 14:20 There is no other name like the name of Jesus. 14:39 There is a name 14:43 that is so precious. 14:47 A name so wonderful to me. 14:54 A name that's worthy 14:58 of our praises. 15:01 Because of Him 15:05 I am made free. 15:08 And that name is Jesus. 15:12 Oh, how I love him! 15:16 The One who gave His life for me. 15:22 Because of love 15:26 so unconditional 15:30 I will have life 15:33 eternally. 15:53 His name speaks peace 15:57 to all my storm clouds; 16:01 His name speaks calm 16:05 to all my fears. 16:08 And when I think 16:11 that no one loves me 16:16 His loving presence 16:19 is so near. 16:22 And that name is Jesus. 16:26 Oh, how I love Him! 16:30 The One who gave His life for me. 16:36 Because of love 16:40 so unconditional 16:44 I will have life 16:47 eternally. 16:52 Oh, praise 16:55 that name. 16:59 Praise 17:03 His holy name. 17:06 Praise 17:10 that name. 17:13 Praise 17:16 that name. 17:22 Someday we'll leave 17:26 this earthly dwelling. 17:30 Through time and space 17:34 we all will soar. 17:38 And finally see 17:42 the face of our Jesus 17:45 and praise His name 17:49 forever more. 17:52 The name of Jesus... 17:56 oh, how I love Him! 18:00 The One who gave 18:04 His life for me. 18:09 For me. 18:12 Because of love 18:15 so unconditional 18:19 I will have life 18:23 eternally. 18:27 Oh matchless 18:31 is that name Jesus. 18:35 All glorious 18:39 is that holy name Jesus. 18:43 Oh wonderful 18:46 is that name Jesus. 18:50 Oh praise 18:57 that name. 19:09 Thank you, Yvonne. 19:11 You know, when I hear singers like Yvonne singing 19:15 I think, you know, in heaven I'm going to ask the Lord 19:18 if I could sing like that. What do you think? 19:20 In heaven do you think we might be able to? 19:23 That was beautiful. Well, I have Johnny Dinzey with me 19:26 now. Johnny's been with 3ABN for almost 21 years. 19:29 And about seven years ago he came to Danny, 19:32 and you may have heard this story but I think 19:34 it's a remarkable story. He felt the Lord 19:37 impressing him - you and a few others came 19:39 to Danny, went to his office - 19:41 and the Lord was impressing him that we needed 19:44 a television network that would reach our Spanish-speaking 19:48 people. Don't y'all think that was the Lord? 19:50 And he wasn't sure what Danny's reaction would be, 19:53 but what did Danny tell you? 19:56 Well, when we made known that we believed that 20:00 we need a Spanish channel he blinked once 20:03 and said: "Let's do it! " 20:05 And it really surprised me. 20:10 Now that I look back... looking back, that day 20:13 I said: "Well wait a minute" because the next words he said 20:17 "Let's go forward. Ask Moses Primo if we have to 20:20 raise more money to buy more space on the satellite. 20:25 Or what do we need to get started? " 20:28 And then he said: "Pray... we're about a million dollars behind 20:32 in offerings and donations. " 20:35 And I marvel because God is a miracle worker. 20:41 And Danny still believes - even though we're a million dollars 20:44 behind in donations that God could still pull us through 20:48 and bless us to start a Spanish network. 20:50 So I praise the Lord for faith like that... simple faith 20:54 to believe that with God all things are possible. 20:56 And Mollie, as I said before, had I gone to one of these 21:01 auto makers when they were on the verge of bankruptcy 21:04 and said: "Hey, why don't we... why don't we start making, 21:07 um, square cars that fly, you know? " 21:10 They would have said: "Well, we're about to go bankrupt 21:13 Why don't you come back, you know, when we're out of this 21:15 this mess. " But Danny said: "Let's go forward. " 21:18 So I praise the Lord, he saw the Lord's leading and he said: 21:21 "Let's go forward. " 21:22 Something about a faith ministry: 21:24 a ministry... if it wasn't for grace and mercy of God 21:27 we know that we couldn't move forward a day. 21:29 We walk by faith around here how often, Johnny? 21:32 Every moment of every day. 21:33 In a ministry that recognizes this or in a life that 21:37 recognizes this... God speaks, we obey, then He provides. 21:42 And oh it's so much easier on us when we've already got 21:46 the money in the bank. But that never happens around here 21:49 at 3ABN. God speaks, we're obedient, and then, Johnny, 21:53 we move forward, don't we? 21:55 That's right. And you know, Danny has been saying 21:57 for a few years: "The blessing's on the GO. " Right. 22:01 So at that time he said: "Let's go forward. " 22:03 And so he believes what he preaches, 22:05 so I praise the Lord for that. 22:06 You know something that's happened over the last 7 years 22:09 is that our Latino network has grown at an exceedingly 22:14 record rate. Johnny, tell us what's going on 22:17 in our Latino network and about the growth it's having. 22:20 Well, it's growing very rapidly thanks to the 22:24 great blessing of the Lord. 22:26 Um, I could tell you that we have been added... 22:30 about to be added on cable in Ecuador in another city. 22:34 We were... some of our people from Ecuador - 22:39 particularly Teresa Bonilla and her sister that are from there - 22:43 have been praying for the Lord to bless us to get in there. 22:45 And so the equipment is being installed within these next 22:49 few days, so we praise the Lord for that 22:51 for that cable company. We're getting on in Dominican Republic 22:55 on another cable station that... 22:58 cable network that reaches the whole country. 23:02 So it's just another praise the Lord. 23:05 So it's another big one. And we've been getting on in Mexico 23:10 and also Guatemala. You know, we just sent a few... 23:16 a few... a couple of months ago 39 systems 23:18 over there to get on cable. We started delivering them 23:21 but here comes another e-mail and says some people 23:25 that had nothing to do with these 39 23:27 and they said: "We purchased a satellite receiver 23:32 and we put 3ABN on. " So, you know, the Lord is moving 23:35 people's hearts. Just the lay people... the pastors also... 23:39 to help us get on cable. And... should I go on? 23:43 You just keep going, John. 23:45 We just came back from Mexico: Villamosa, Mexico... 23:49 Tabasco, Mexico. I'm sure some of you have seen the 23:52 Tabasco sauce. They say it comes from there. 23:54 But anyway, one of the reports that we received from 23:58 one of the conference officials is that a cable company 24:03 owner, he... his marriage was crumbling. His child 24:08 was becoming rebellious. And the story that we were told 24:12 is that this man began to watch 3ABN. 24:15 And the more they watched 3ABN 24:17 the more his marriage was strengthened. 24:19 And his child started watching... he put him to watch 24:22 Amigitos de Jesus - our Spanish children's program - 24:24 and the rebellion started to go down. 24:28 So praise the Lord he was so happy 24:31 with what God's done in his family with 3ABN Latino 24:34 that he encouraged other cable companies to put 3ABN Latino 24:38 on and about six of them more put us on. 24:40 So we just praise the Lord for that. 24:43 We met an atheist man over there that 24:46 told us that he came into the Seventh-day Adventist church 24:48 a few years ago but he said "3ABN Latino has helped me 24:53 to become fortified on God's Word. 24:56 And I'm here praising God for what God has done 24:59 through 3ABN Latino in my life. 25:01 Another testimony we heard was from... 25:05 a lady had left the church. Was out in the world, 25:09 and her family was attacked. Her young son 25:13 was attacked and was near to the point of death. 25:16 And so now, you know, in the hard times we remember God. 25:21 She is praying to God: "Lord, please rescue my son. 25:25 He's at the point of death. Only You can rescue him. " 25:28 And the Lord brought him back, and she has promised 25:31 that if the Lord brings him back 25:33 she was going to go back to church. 25:35 And she said it was at that time 25:37 that she found 3ABN Latino. 25:39 And that's what the Lord helped to bring her back 25:41 into the church, and she is praising the Lord. 25:43 And I know, Johnny... how many more testimonies 25:47 do you have? We have a few more. 25:49 When Johnny gets started it is amazing. 25:51 When he gets back from a trip he'll come sit down in my office 25:54 and start telling me one miracle after another 25:57 after another. God is moving in our Spanish-speaking areas 26:01 of the world. And as 3ABN goes into these areas 26:05 people are drawn to the Lord. And Johnny, I appreciate 26:08 what you do so very much. You know, he told us 26:10 a little earlier about the prison system - 26:13 I believe it's in Mexico - that they were getting 3ABN. 26:16 Tell us about that. Yes. 26:17 Well, the lady has become... the lady that was helping us 26:21 with that has become sick and we haven't heard from her. 26:24 So we need your prayers for the Lord to restore her 26:26 because she was trying to get 3ABN Latino into prison systems 26:30 all over Mexico. And there was supposed to be a pilot program 26:33 in a few prisons. And just then it was that she had this 26:36 setback. So we ask for your prayers for her. 26:39 I do want to say this one testimony. 26:42 If I don't get it, I'm going to be a little disturbed. 26:45 Go right ahead. 26:46 This... I met the director of a police... 26:50 the police in Mexico. 26:52 He came to the meetings. We were having an evangelistic series 26:55 there. And he said: 26:58 "You know, I used to watch 3ABN Latino on cable 27:01 and now I moved to another city and I can't get it. 27:03 How can I get it? " 27:05 I said: "First, you can get it on the Internet. " 27:08 And here was this man... not a Seventh-day Adventist 27:12 when I talked to him at that moment... 27:13 but as he kept coming to the meetings 27:17 on the Friday before the last Sabbath of the meetings 27:20 the conference president and the director of evangelism 27:22 went to his home to talk to him for about half an hour 27:25 to an hour. And he was so interested in God's Word 27:29 that he said: "No, no... stay, stay. " 27:31 They stayed four hours because he kept asking questions. 27:34 And then after they were done he said: "Well, you know, 27:36 I'm just wondering if you would be interested in baptism? 27:39 "Absolutely! " he said. 27:40 And his wife said: "I want to be baptized too. " 27:43 And his in-laws that he invited to the meetings 27:46 they said: "Well, we're going to be baptized too. 27:49 We want to be baptized as well. " 27:50 And they were from another denomination 27:52 that I won't mention. And so they're... they said: 27:55 "We want to be baptized in the river. " 27:57 So they're going to be making arrangements to baptize them. 27:59 My time is up, so I have to go. 28:01 You know what Danny would say about this. He says: 28:03 "That's a two-hander. " Don't y'all agree with that? 28:05 That is a two-hander! Praise God! 28:08 And what I want to ask you to do first and foremost: 28:11 don't you think it's an incredible opportunity 28:13 if we get 3ABN into every one of the prisons in Mexico? 28:17 Keep that in your prayers. 28:18 Keep our Latino network in your prayers that God will continue 28:21 stretch the reach of the gospel into these areas of the world. 28:24 Keep Johnny in your prayers and remember to support 28:27 3ABN Latino because very time we go on another cable system 28:32 there is a great expense involved 28:33 and we know that God will supply all of those needs. 28:36 I'm going to ask Melody to come out now. 28:38 Melody is going to minister to us in a beautiful song 28:41 so if she will come on out. You know, something I appreciate 28:44 about this lady. I want you to look at her. 28:46 She's the mother of eight, and that is something to be 28:50 admired, I don't care who you are. 28:53 And she's a good mother. I think I've told you before 28:55 I went over to her house one time, 28:57 and she was sitting on the floor playing with her children. 29:01 And that touched my heart about as much as anything ever has. 29:04 She loves her babies and she takes care of them... 29:07 they're well behaved too. Sometimes. 29:28 He counts the stars one and all; 29:31 He knows how much sand is on the shore. 29:35 He sees every sparrow that falls. 29:42 He made the mountains and the sea; 29:47 He made control of everything... 29:50 of all creatures great and small. 29:55 And He knows my name; 29:58 every step that I take; 30:02 every move that I make; 30:05 every tear that I cry. 30:10 And He knows my name. 30:12 When I'm overwhelmed by the pain 30:16 and can't see the light of day, 30:20 I know I'll be just fine 30:25 'cause He knows my name. 30:35 I don't know what tomorrow will bring; 30:39 I can't tell you what's in store; 30:43 I don't know a lot of things. 30:50 I don't have all the answers 30:52 to the questions of life, 30:57 but I know in whom I have believed. 31:02 And He knows my name; 31:05 every step that I take; 31:09 every move that I make; 31:13 every tear that I cry. 31:17 And He knows my name. 31:20 When I'm overwhelmed by the pain 31:24 and can't see the light of day, 31:28 I know I'll be just fine 31:32 'cause He knows my name. 31:37 He knew who I was 31:41 when He carried my cross. 31:45 He knew that I would fail Him 31:49 but He took the loss. 31:54 And He knows my name; 31:58 every step that I take; 32:01 every move that I make; 32:05 every tear that I cry. 32:09 And He knows my name. 32:12 When I'm overwhelmed by the pain 32:16 and can't see the light of day, 32:20 I know I'll be just fine 32:24 'cause He knows my name. 32:27 When I'm overwhelmed by the pain 32:31 and can't see the light of day, 32:35 I know I'll be just fine 32:43 'cause He knows my name. 32:51 Amen. 33:00 As I was sitting backstage, I... for some reason my mind went 33:03 back to a night about 30 years ago. 33:06 I was called to the hospital. One of my members 33:10 had just had a little boy, 33:13 and rather than being a time of joy, it was a time of sadness. 33:17 He was born with an incomplete dietary tract 33:22 and his waste material was coming back into his body. 33:26 And the doctors really said: "He's not going to last 33:30 the night. " So we really came to just comfort the family 33:36 and to prepare them to bury their little boy. 33:40 And about, oh, two months before I came to 3ABN 33:44 I met that young man again. 33:47 He had just graduated from college 33:49 and he was going into medicine. 33:52 And I had forgotten the incident and the name 33:56 and the family, and he walked me through that experience. 33:58 And, um, we kind of laughed and cried together, 34:02 and he said: "I wanted to just thank you for coming out 34:05 that cold night and praying for me. " 34:08 He said: "I don't even remember but my parents told me 34:12 about it almost every single day 34:14 so I had to track you down and just say thank you. " 34:18 You know I am... I am so humbled and glad 34:22 to be a Christian. 34:23 I am... I am so... I am tickled pink - 34:28 which is not easy to do for me - 34:31 to be a Seventh-day Adventist. 34:34 I truly am humbled and glad and thankful to the Lord 34:39 for calling me out of darkness into this marvelous light. 34:45 I... We didn't know that 39:38 C.A. could sing so beautifully when he came to 3ABN. 39:41 We've kind of cultivated that and what a blessing he is. 39:44 Well I have Dwight Hall with me now. 39:47 Dwight Hall is the president of Remnant Publications 39:50 and we appreciate you so very much. 39:52 It's good to be here, Mollie. 39:54 And 3ABN and Remnant have done a few projects together... 39:57 quite a few, actually, over the years. 39:59 And recently... I guess our most recent project is this 40:03 precious little book that we've got here called 40:05 Pillars of the Christian Faith. 40:07 How many of you have seen this book or... 40:09 it's an excellent book. 40:11 But because we have the Pillars of our Faith project 40:15 this year which includes a song book 40:17 there's been a little confusion about the two. 40:20 So we thought this would be an excellent opportunity 40:23 for Dwight to tell us about this book. 40:26 How many of you remember The Ten Commandments 40:28 Twice Removed? How many of you ever passed those out? 40:31 Amen. Was... was you blessed by getting them out? 40:34 Amen. I know that we were. And our church 40:37 had, I don't know, three, four, or five people that came in 40:40 because of that, Mollie. And this book right here 40:43 is actually more wide even than that book 40:46 because it's the Pillars of the Christian Faith. 40:48 And I know, Mollie, what I was told that some people 40:51 thought because of the music tapes that this book 40:54 was kind of a little song book with it with the songs 40:56 but it's not. This has the pillars 40:59 of the what faith? Christian faith. OK, 41:02 the Christian faith. And just a couple, um, 41:06 things that you need to know about this book. 41:08 Of course, Danny and Jim wrote this, 41:10 but we've made this another missionary book. 41:12 What Remnant is all about... 41:14 working with ministries like 3ABN... 41:17 is to get books out by the millions. Amen? 41:20 And you know, with the Passion book that we got out 41:22 that got out to Wal-Mart, 41:23 over 1,000 people from that book took Bible studies. 41:28 Praise God! It's amazing what's going on. And people 41:30 even when the economy's as bad as it is 41:33 all around... I've been around the world, Mollie, 41:35 this year and I want you to know that 41:38 people are hungering and thirsting more than ever before 41:40 to get truth. Do you believe that? 41:42 Amen. So do you believe that you still have a duty to do? 41:45 Can you stop at Ten Commandments Twice Removed? 41:47 You can't, can you? 41:49 And everyone needs to play a part. 41:50 If you only got one book out, it's one book that 41:53 wouldn't have got out. But this book... what I like 41:55 about is it does have the Three Angels' Message 41:58 in verity in it, and I just want to go on one thing 42:01 and that is chapter 8: it's what comes after death. 42:05 Now you might know what comes after death. 42:08 Some of the people that are watching might know... 42:09 but it's the most confusing - what should I say? - 42:14 Tell me what it is... 42:16 The confusing object. Yeah, the confusing object. 42:19 It is so confusing that people are so mixed up about it. 42:22 And we need to let people know because there are so many 42:24 television programs that talk about life after death... 42:28 what's going on. And it's so confusing 42:31 no one even knows because every- one has a different opinion. 42:34 Is there really one right opinion? Yes. 42:37 One right principles? Yes, there is. Um-hmm. 42:38 It's the Bible! And this has that in that. 42:41 And I believe that once people see 42:44 loved ones coming back and talking to them 42:47 and they don't know the Bible it's very hard to change 42:49 that you believe that. So do you believe it's part 42:52 of your responsibility to get these books out? 42:56 You know, Mollie. It's not because Remnant printed them. 42:59 It's not because Danny and Jim wrote it. 43:03 It's because there's truth in there that people desperately 43:06 need. Amen? I just feel such a burden, 43:08 and I know you can get these like Ten Commandments 43:11 by pallets. By cases... there's 100 in a case. 43:14 Um, I'm not here to sell anything tonight, but 43:16 I want you to pray that the Holy Spirit 43:19 will help you to say: "Where can we get these books out? 43:22 We don't have much time. " 43:23 The world is coming to quick end 43:25 and there's so many people that need the truth. 43:27 Yeah, so often you're looking for a resource 43:29 that doesn't just cover one aspect of what you want to share 43:33 with someone if you want to lead them to the Lord 43:35 and you want to increase their faith in the Lord 43:38 or expand their knowledge. 43:39 This book covers the pillars of our Christian faith: 43:42 the tenets that we need so desperately to be able to teach. 43:46 It's absolutely tremendous and so I'm not only 43:50 trying to inspire you but I want to encourage you 43:54 that whatever books you have, have some books in your vehicle. 43:58 I put little booklets, I put the Christian Pillars, 44:01 I put the Ten Commandments on gas pumps. 44:03 Let me ask a question: how many out there that's watching 44:05 and how many here have ever got gas in your life? 44:08 Come on... 44:10 I mean all of you have. So can't you at least put 44:12 a book on a gas pump? 44:14 Right? Listen, we've had people write us 44:17 and we've had people call us that have gotten a book 44:20 on a gas pump that have taken Bible studies. 44:23 So don't think that you can't be a part 44:25 of finishing this work. 44:27 You know, one of the gentlemen in our pastoral department 44:30 was telling the other day that he was taking someone 44:33 actually to court. They had a court date. 44:36 And one of the books - I believe it was Steps to Christ - 44:40 was on the dash of his car and when he put on his brakes 44:43 it fell into this person's lap. 44:45 Amen. And they took it and they started reading it. 44:47 So please... giving books and so forth is just a 44:52 vital way to reach souls for Jesus. 44:55 Well you know, Mollie, the publishing work with these books 44:58 are silent preachers, 45:00 and where preachers can't get books can. 45:03 We've had people pull books out of garbage cans, 45:06 give their hearts to the Lord. So, please... 45:07 let's get these books out. Amen? 45:09 Everyone watching: get the books out. 45:11 Call 3ABN. 45:13 And we have another project that we have with you. Yes. 45:15 I have to mention... How many of you... 45:17 I know a lot that are watching, we're in 40 countries 45:20 with this Bible. How many of you have got one of these? Look it. 45:22 OK. But one more short thing, Mollie. 46:43 When these Bibles were printed by Nelson... 46:46 Just... just about three weeks ago I was at Nelson Publishing 46:50 and they've got some other neat things that I can't 46:52 share tonight, it's not long enough, but 46:54 they told me this. They said: "Dwight, 46:56 we got all of our ministry staff around 47:00 in a conference room and had all of our Bibles 47:02 on a conference table... " a lot of them. 47:04 And they said the #1 choice 47:06 of all the people there was the Remnant Study Bible. 47:09 Amen! Isn't that amazing? 47:10 Miracles are happening, so I just love being a part of it 47:14 and I know you do too. That's why you're here. 47:16 The movers and shakers of 3ABN. 47:17 That's right. Thank you Dwight. 47:38 Have you ever had a night where you prayed 47:41 for the morning to come? 47:44 I think that goes without saying. Each one of us 47:47 has at one point or the other 47:48 even though the clock hasn't changed in its chronological 47:52 setting we've had what we call those long nights. 47:55 And sometimes out of those long nights come 47:58 an inspiration that would not have been born 48:00 had the Lord not allowed you to go through that long night. 48:04 I think the Bible really says it this way: 48:07 "Weeping may endure for the night 48:09 but joy comes in the morning. " 48:12 After 24 years of ministry and 27 years of marriage 48:16 with all the attacks that come from various directions 48:19 my wife and I know what that means 48:21 to sometimes weep together, pray together, 48:24 wrestle with the Lord together. 48:26 And then when the morning finally arrives, 48:29 we can understand the reason why God allowed us. 48:32 And I believe that when we pray for the trial to pass 48:35 we don't become the person that God wants us to be. 48:38 So my prayer has even changed to "Lord, instead of remove 48:41 the trial... Lord make me stronger because of it. " 48:44 The song I'm going to share with you tonight 48:46 is not one that I've recorded yet. 48:48 It's going to be in one of my future projects. 48:50 But I share it with you because as you face whatever you may 48:54 face in your life, the prayer that I've had 48:57 and I continue to pray this prayer: 48:58 "Lord, through all the trials 49:00 as long as the words of David, the Psalmist, 49:03 come to pass and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever 49:06 I'll be content to go through it 49:09 as long as the Lord continues to lead me home. Talking about things that's going on the world today. 55:15 How we can live a victorious life. 55:17 The problems that face us, you know, each and every day 55:20 as human beings... the devil just lands on us every day. 55:23 And we need to know where to look and where our comfort is 55:26 and where our faith lies 55:28 and to reach out and get a hold of the hand of Jesus. 55:31 And He's going to do great things in our hearts 55:33 and in our lives. Is it 30 minutes or an hour? 55:41 It's an hour program - hour program - yes. 55:42 So you're coming out. You're doing a little Bible scripture 55:44 then you have a little music and then you're giving us 55:47 a sermon. Kenny - when he preaches - he's all over. 55:51 So Kenny's every... He gets excited. 55:53 And I like to hear somebody excited about what they preach, 55:55 don't you? Amen. 55:56 And so how many have heard Kenny preach in the past? 55:59 OK. A lot of friends out here, Kenny. 56:01 They're tough, yes. So I saw you out there and we were 56:04 talking about the early years and getting out singing 56:07 Holy Ground together. Amen! After church when we could gather together 56:17 and sing and prayed... and God did marvelous things. 56:20 And we're still standing on holy ground, and we look forward 56:23 to your programs. I think they've been on 56:25 just the last week or two we've seen some. Yes, yes. 56:27 On Friday. I know they're on like Friday at noon, 56:30 Tuesday at 7 AM... but every other week. 56:31 I'm not sure of the schedule. I'm sorry, but you just be 56:34 watching 3ABN.
