00:17 Good morning. How many of you,
00:23 you want to be happy. 00:26 Alright, who wants to be unhappy, 00:30 no one there. Alright. 00:33 You know when we study the Bible. 00:38 The Bible provides an understanding regarding 00:43 how to be happy and we all know that's 00:47 everybody wants to be happy, 00:50 I used to, I used to live these beautiful island of 00:55 Hawaii and these island is known to be 01:01 a paradise for some people. 01:05 And yes it was beautiful place and people are 01:09 willing to pay less money to be there. 01:14 And people are seeking for this happiness this rest 01:22 and they are willing to go far 01:27 travel hours and hours on Aeroplane 01:32 and pay lots of money carry all their luggages 01:36 and Baggies and, and finally go this place 01:41 where they can just relax and be happy. 01:45 You know there is something about us 01:47 we have I called paradise seeking syndrome. 01:53 Do you have that? Are you always looking 01:56 for a paradise where you can go and 01:59 enjoy and just be happy well this morning 02:01 I want share with you about paradise in the Bible. 02:07 Turn your Bible with me to the book of Genesis. 02:10 The book of Genesis chapter 2. 02:23 Genesis Chapter 2. 02:33 We all know about these story the Garden of Eden. 02:38 Let's read it Genesis Chapter 2 and verse 8. 02:46 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden 02:50 and there he put the man whom he had formed 02:54 and by the way how many of you know 02:56 the meaning of these word Eden. 03:00 Guess what? It does not mean paradise. 03:04 Based upon the original language it means 03:09 pleasure, delight. 03:13 I know today they were pleasure 03:15 doesn't sound so good. 03:16 If you tell your father daddy I am going out tonight 03:19 to have some pleasure. 03:21 Son where are you going? Right doesn't right 03:23 doesn't sounds so good. 03:24 But back in those days when everything was without sin, 03:29 pleasure was may I say pure pleasure. 03:33 So, it was a good word. So, when the Bible says 03:36 garden of Eden. It was Garden of pleasure 03:40 it was garden of delight and happiness. 03:44 So, God gave this garden to Adam and Eve 03:49 in order to make them happy. 03:52 So, God purpose in many ways my friends 03:54 in many ways God's purpose in a creation of men 03:59 yes to make them in the image of God 04:03 but at the same time to make them happy. 04:09 So, I wanted know, I wanted to know from 04:12 the Bible what the God do? What the God give 04:17 to Adam and Eve in order to make them happy 04:21 in these Garden of Eden a place of paradise. 04:27 Unless you the Bible has the same. Alright, 04:30 in order for God to make man happy 04:33 number one let's read up verse again. 04:39 Genesis Chapter 2 and verse 8 the Bible says 04:41 And the LORD God planted a what? 04:44 Garden eastward in Eden and there were 04:49 in the Garden there he put the man whom he had formed. 04:54 So, number one in order for God, 04:58 listen in order for God to make man happy 05:02 God give him a garden like environment, 05:10 natural environment. So, therefore we can say 05:15 in order for God to make men happy 05:17 God give him a good home, good environment. 05:23 You see my friends from the beginning 05:27 based upon the story, we can see that 05:31 naturally we enjoy natural environment. 05:36 What do you think? Yeah. Yeah, we do 05:39 we like to see green things, 05:41 we like to see the trees, we like to see the flowers. 05:45 Yes, yes, but why is it that many people 05:49 living in the city. 05:53 Why? I know, I know to make money. 05:56 Yeah, I know to make money, 05:58 but I mean but naturally I mean who wants to 06:01 live in a city. If you really think about it, 06:04 yes I know it's convenient, yes many restaurants, 06:08 okay I got you, but naturally my friends 06:11 who likes to say, oh! oh! I love this country, 06:17 I love this, this, this road, this black tarp road, 06:21 I just liked it. I mean let me have something 06:24 even the people live in the city, 06:26 even the people live in the city when they can get away 06:31 have a little vacation they want to go somewhere. 06:34 Where did they go? Where? 06:37 They every says, oh! let's go have some vacation 06:40 in the traffic jam. 06:43 Oh! The pollution, we need some of that. 06:46 We need some pollution. Let's just go where 06:48 so many people are? You know, 06:50 get pushed in the left and right, 06:52 yeah let's go there. 06:53 No one says things like that? Right. Yeah! Even though 06:56 they live in a city when they want to take rest, 06:59 where do they want to go. 07:02 Where? Outback. Right, Outback. 07:07 would you guys go here? I don't know. 07:10 Oh! Beach okay alright. 07:12 But, people you know in the US, 07:14 we will go, I'm sure you have some of these two. 07:16 I think mountains, right and the river, ocean, 07:22 so even though people are living in the city, 07:26 in the apartment, what did they have 07:29 in their living room. 07:33 Oh! Yeah, besides TV what else they have? 07:36 Oh! Yeah, plants, you know, if you know anything about 07:39 Asian grandmothers. Asian grandmothers oh! 07:45 if you ever visit them it's like their living room, 07:48 it's like a green house. 07:51 They are actually growing rice 07:54 in the living room some of them, 07:57 I think some of them are doing that 07:59 and so that just shows that even though 08:01 we are living in the city naturally the way we are, 08:05 the way we were framed from the beginning 08:09 God knew garden that we are going to be happy 08:14 in a natural environment, alright. So in order 08:18 God to make men happy God gave him 08:23 good environment alright, so are you happy? 08:29 Yeah, just be surrounded by trees and mountains 08:32 and waterfalls and river and flowers and birds 08:36 and animals are you happy now? 08:39 Yes. But I don't know about you, 08:42 you know, I don't care if the Grand Canyon is granger, 08:46 I don't care your semi is incredible, 08:48 I don't care some of these national parks are amazing, 08:52 but not own for me as a man nothing is beautiful 08:59 when I'm hungry. 09:03 Yeah, that's it? See this man says yes. 09:08 You see my friends let me, let me give you a tip alright. 09:11 Ladies, you know, the man is not thinking right 09:14 when he is hungry, so feed him first 09:17 than have a conversation. Alright. So, so, 09:21 it doesn't matter how, how you know, good, 09:24 good things are I mean, if you are not, 09:26 if you are not, if you are not well feed and satisfied, 09:30 you cannot function well. And I believe this is 09:32 the reason why we have what I called 09:35 the second blessing. 09:38 Look with me Genesis Chapter 2 and verse 9, 09:44 the Bible says, And out of the ground made the LORD 09:47 God to grow every tree that is what? 09:51 pleasant to the sights, and good for food; 09:57 and those things are what? They are good for food. 10:02 Therefore, I conclude that when in order for God 10:06 to make men happy God gave him good food. 10:12 Notice, we don't read a Bible text that says 10:14 and then God put an McDonald right 10:16 next to the garden. 10:20 I know it's not there, but you know, 10:22 you got the point right. 10:24 So you know in many cases even some scientists have 10:30 discovered that your emotion, 10:33 the way you will feel many times is depended upon 10:36 what you eat. And I'm sure you heard this saying 10:41 you are what you eat and may I even suggest feel 10:45 the way that you eat or what you eat 10:49 and that is all true. I mean when ever you eaten 10:52 something late in the evening 10:55 like 11 p.m. or 12 a.m. you eat yourself pizza. 11:05 Yeah you will get big large pizza 11:09 and then you eat that and you just having good time 11:11 and you will go to bed and next morning how you feel? 11:14 You feel like a pizza. Yeah, yeah, 11:17 you are what you eat and you feel one, 11:21 very slow right? 11:24 Yeah! But yeah, see my friends in some cases 11:28 really what we put in our body 11:32 it influences our mind and perhaps God knew. 11:35 I mean, I mean have you ever eaten like really, 11:37 really healthy food how do you feel? 11:40 Healthy right? Energetic and happy, alright. 11:44 So, God knew what he was doing. 11:46 So, number one, in order for God to make men happy 11:51 God gave him a good environment and number 2 11:55 in order for God to make men happy 11:56 God gave him good food. So, are you happy now? 12:03 Yeah! You are living in a good environment, 12:06 you are eating good food, are you happy? 12:09 Now let me ask you something. 12:12 What the people usually do right after they eat 12:14 in order to be happier? They sleep. 12:21 God bless you, the Bible says blessing number 3. 12:26 Look with me Genesis chapter 2 and verse 15. 12:34 The Bible says And the Lord God took the man 12:37 and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it 12:41 and to what? Keep it. So, the Bible tells me that 12:46 God gave man an occupation something to do. 12:53 So in order for God to make men happy, 12:54 God gave him a job, but let me have something, 12:59 if he have to name, if he have to give a title 13:02 to Adam to give a name to his job. 13:05 What was his job? Gardener or farming, 13:11 I'm not saying we all should be farmers, 13:14 I know we need to have some businessman, 13:16 dentists and doctors, I understand, 13:19 but my friends, let me suggest to you 13:23 the happiest job is farming. 13:29 Yeah! Try it you know some places they actually 13:32 use gardening as a therapy. 13:37 In order to restore your body and mind and soul, 13:40 some places they use gardening, 13:42 allow your fingers to get dirty, 13:46 touch those green plants. You know and work outside 13:50 and, and let the sun shine up on you 13:52 and breathe in the fresh air to restore your body, 13:57 mind, and soul. So, God knew what he was 14:00 doing from the way beginning, 14:03 So God gave him a good job, a good occupation. 14:08 So, number three, good occupation, 14:12 So, we have to use three blessings so far. 14:15 Blessing number one, good environment; 14:18 blessing number two, good food; 14:21 blessing number three, good occupation. 14:27 Yeah! I mean after eating, you got to do something right. 14:30 You cannot just sit there and do nothing become a 14:33 what couch potato, that doesn't sounds 14:37 so good does it. You know sometimes 14:40 my friends when you work with your body 14:42 in order to do some little activity and you will, 14:46 you can really change your feeling. 14:48 I mean if you ever feel like feeling like 14:51 kind of depressed because it's kind a cloudy outside 14:55 and become sad and feeling kind of lazy, 15:00 not so happy, you know, what you can do? 15:05 You can go and wash those dishes. 15:10 Yeah! Wash those dishes and you can go and clean 15:13 your room get busy doing something, 15:18 I mean, I mean at home, I am the wash dish, 15:23 I mean, yeah, I'm the wash dishwasher 15:27 and is a, is a good experience 15:30 because when you do, when you wash your dishes, 15:33 you know, you use hot water and cold water 15:38 and you know rubbing those dishes 15:40 and but when you get the hot water and cold water 15:42 touching your hand you are getting 15:44 what we called hydrotherapy. 15:47 It increases your circulation 15:50 and then it, it increases you know just, 15:52 just happiness in your life. 15:54 So, young people when you're unhappy, okay, 15:59 pick out the trash. 16:02 Oh! Rubbish and, and start cleaning your, 16:05 your room, hence things will begin to change. 16:08 Alright so, three things so far good environment, 16:12 good food, and good occupation. 16:16 So, are you happy now. Yeah! Are you happy, 16:21 you like okay can you imagine you are living, 16:24 you are living in a good environment. 16:26 Oh! The waterfall. Oh! The trees, 16:28 the flowers. Oh! Beautiful animals 16:31 and you just there and like wow! 16:34 nice are you happy? 16:36 You are working and you are eating. 16:40 Let me ask something? Have you ever been to 16:41 like a incredible national park and 16:45 you just standing there, looking at this waterfall 16:47 and you like wow! look at these waterfall, 16:51 but there is nobody around you. 16:55 Yeah! Just like go to the Grand Canyons like, 16:57 go to Grand Canyon like wow! 16:59 this is a Grand Canyon, wow! so nice, so nice, 17:03 so nice, so nice. It's no fine. 17:11 What about eating good food by yourself. 17:16 I remember those days when I was single. 17:20 Oh! Going to the restaurant was not fun thing especially 17:24 when all the tables are filled with couples 17:28 then your are eating your food and everybody 17:31 else is dating or with their loved ones 17:35 and here you are dating with your book, 17:40 and how long you there not too long unless 17:43 you have a homework, and you get out of 17:45 there as fast as you can. My friends no one will 17:49 enjoy reading by themselves. 17:51 What when I'm working? Yeah! Even working, 17:53 sometimes we have to work by ourselves, 17:55 but you know working is nice to work with 17:58 somebody else. So, my friends therefore 18:01 God said look with me in Genesis Chapter 2, 18:09 look with me and verse 18. 18:13 Verse 18 the Bible says, And the Lord God said, 18:15 It is not good that the man should be what? 18:19 Alone. You know almost everyday at the end 18:22 of the day God said it is good at whatever 18:24 he has created it is good, it is good, 18:27 but after God created the man. 18:30 God said looking at the man, 18:32 is not good. Not good. 18:36 Is that therefore man to be alone, 18:39 so God gave him a what? 18:44 A woman and the Bible says help me. 18:50 Ladies do you like that? You like to be called 18:54 help me like it sounds like a servant doesn't it? 18:59 I know if you ever feel bad let me give you 19:01 a different maybe newer observation on this word, 19:06 this phrase help me. I mean it sound like, 19:10 I'm just like, I am a woman and 19:12 I'm just here to assist him. What kind of life is this? 19:15 No, no, no, no, don't think that way. 19:17 Don't think that way. The reason why God 19:20 gave man an help me is because man 19:24 without woman, he is helpless. 19:29 Oh! Now you are happy about that, 19:31 you are happy about that, okay, okay. Yeah! 19:33 It's sure I am I, I think that way, 19:34 I mean for me every time I see a single man 19:39 I don't care how much or how big his shoulders are, 19:42 I don't care how tall or strong and 19:44 you know, financially well off, 19:46 I mean for me when I see a single man, incomplete. 19:50 Something is missing that's just, 19:53 just me and I think, I think I have a reason for 19:57 saying that because the Bible says it's not a, 20:00 it's not a good thing for a man to be alone, 20:03 so what God do, what did God do? 20:05 The Bible says he gave him 20:10 a good social relationship and what was that? 20:19 Now what do you think is the best 20:21 social relationship on earth? 20:27 The Bible does not say so God gave him. 20:30 God gave Adam an uncle, no, no, no, no. 20:35 The Bible does not say, So God gave, gave Adam joy. 20:39 No, no, no Bible not say that 20:41 or the Bible even doesn't say so God gave Adam 20:44 a mother. I know, I know this is import, 20:48 is important between parents and children 20:51 between uncles and you know relatives 20:53 and nephews and other. 20:54 I know they are very important, 20:56 but let me say something. The most important 20:59 social relationship in the world is 21:02 between husband and wife. 21:05 If something goes wrong there ummh! ummh! ummh! 21:08 There is a big problem, big problem. 21:10 It starts right there. So, God gave man 21:15 the best social relationship experience and that was 21:20 a good wife to Adam. So, are you happy now, 21:26 look at this, you are living in a 21:27 good environment, you are eating good food, 21:31 you got a good job and then you have good wife, 21:35 you should be happy right. 21:37 I mean if you think about it everybody 21:39 in this world is looking for these 21:41 things aren't they? Yes, yeah. 21:45 I mean we are looking for to have these 21:48 four things, it does not manner if you are Christian, 21:51 not Christian, you know, atheist, I don't care, 21:54 new age, punk or a drug addict everybody is 21:59 in many sense looking for these four things 22:05 and that tells me everybody is 22:08 looking for a paradise. 22:14 So, you should be happy right, you got it. 22:18 Then why is it, then why is it? 22:20 Some people they live in, they are living in 22:23 an incredible humongous house. 22:28 They have like a ten car garage 22:33 and they have like five refrigerators, 22:36 one you actually walk in. 22:40 Yeah. And, and they got this incredible surrounding, 22:47 they have like swimming pool in their living room, 22:51 and in there, their couch is the best 22:56 white leather sofa and they got the incredible 23:02 looking wife and beautiful children 23:08 then why is it and they got, 23:09 and their bank account is fat 23:13 and they have a good job, they have everything 23:16 that they want and when you get, I mean, 23:19 if you have those things you should be able to say, 23:21 okay good house, good food, good job, 23:25 good family, okay I should be happy, 23:30 but then why some people as they are sitting 23:35 under white leather sofa. They are thinking about 23:43 how life is so miserable 23:46 and they are contemplating killing themselves. 23:52 Why, they got it, they got it. Right there, 23:54 you are sitting on it, is around them, 23:58 they have it, they are there, 24:00 you want your happiness, 24:02 you got it and you work for this, 24:05 you went to school for this. 24:07 You were competing so hard in your job 24:10 environment to get to where you are today? 24:14 Still you, so you would be happy, 24:18 but they are not. What's missing? 24:23 The blessing number 5 over that 24:31 and that was Sabbath, 24:37 you say what Sabbath. 24:40 Let me explain to you. 24:44 Question to you, 24:47 what did God create on the sixth day tell me? 24:53 Animals and man, okay. 24:57 What did God create first animals or man? 25:02 What did God create first? Animals okay, 25:06 so therefore we can observe that 25:11 there is a possibility alright, 25:13 there is a possibility, a great possibility that 25:16 man was created man and woman 25:20 they were created most likely not the first thing, 25:28 are you with me. So, it's very possible that 25:34 they were created maybe late morning. I'm not sure, 25:39 but I know one of one, I know one thing for sure 25:42 and that is they were not created 25:44 the first thing of the day. What I'm trying to say? 25:51 If we can imagine the sixth day, 25:55 I don't think Adam and Eve specially Eve 26:01 they didn't have much time with God, 26:06 just talk to him. Why? Look at this. 26:09 Adam was created boom and God says Adam what? 26:13 Umm! That's me. Adam! Hi 26:16 and then what happened after that 26:18 God is like okay this is what you suppose to do, oh! 26:22 take care of this okay and then God says okay 26:25 start naming these animals, 26:26 oh! and God, God did not even give him little book 26:31 call how to name your animals. 26:35 Because God wanted Adam to develop creativity 26:41 while he is seeing this big long neck animal 26:44 he goes giraffe, I don't what happened exactly, 26:49 but just imagining, imagining 26:51 and he start naming these animals 26:52 and he was pretty busy and I don't know 26:55 if he name all the animals, 26:57 but even though he did half of the animals 27:01 in the kingdom, in the animal kingdom. 27:05 I mean, it was a long day what you think? 27:08 And then after naming all these animals, 27:10 he is like uhmm! I'm feeling lonely 27:13 then he has to go into sleep and then God has 27:16 took out a reeve from his body and created 27:20 this beautiful woman. He wakes up 27:22 and he meets this woman, he is like wow! 27:26 And what time of the day was that? 27:29 I'm guessing it was a long day what do you think? 27:33 So I am, I want to suggest the idea that 27:37 I don't think Adam and Eve, specially Eve 27:41 they didn't have lesser time just talking to God. 27:46 So, then my question is this, let's read it. 27:51 In Genesis chapter 2, Genesis chapter 2 27:58 and verse 1 the Bible says Thus the heavens 28:01 and the earth were finished and all the host of them. 28:05 And on the Seventh Day, God ended his work, 28:08 which he had made and he rested on the 28:11 Seventh Day from his all work, 28:14 which he had made and God blessed the Seventh Day 28:18 and sanctified it because that in it, he had what? 28:23 Rested from all his work, which God created and made. 28:29 So, according to the Bible, according to the Bible 28:31 God what? He rested meaning, 28:37 the word rested it means to stop to seize. 28:46 So, God stopped from creating, 28:51 so then my question is this to you. 28:56 God and Adam and Eve, how did they keep 29:06 the first Sabbath on earth together. 29:11 What they were doing? Now this is important, 29:15 this is very important because the way 29:17 they kept the first Sabbath can give us a clue 29:24 to understand the purpose of Sabbath are you listening? 29:31 And can give us an example how we should 29:35 keep the Sabbath today, so if you can imagine 29:39 the first thing how would they, what are they doing 29:45 on the first Sabbath. Just God doing nothing 29:50 and here is Adam and Eve just standing and 29:52 doing nothing they just looking at each other, 29:56 we are not suppose to do anything? Shhhh! 30:03 Is a rest day. What were they doing 30:06 my brothers and sisters? Imagine what seems to be 30:14 you know a common sense a natural thing, come on, 30:18 you just got created and you are busy naming animal, 30:23 oh! fall asleep. Oh! oh! There is a woman. 30:26 Hi! How are you, you are beautiful. 30:28 So then, you are totally new to the environment. 30:36 Are you listening? When you go to a new environment 30:40 what you have? Curiosity, you have questions 30:46 and I'm sure you know you are not gonna ask questions 30:51 to themselves. They are going to ask 30:54 questions to who? God. May I suggest first Sabbath, 31:00 Adam and Eve they were asking many questions 31:06 that makes sense to me because they just got created 31:10 and what were they asking? They are pointing to the, 31:15 you know, beautiful hills, and the lakes and the river 31:18 and trees, pointing to the environment. 31:25 And they said God what is this? 31:30 And God is like that, that is tree. 31:37 There are flowers and they sloughing great choice. Oh! 31:43 Yeah that's called water, you have to drink that, 31:48 that's good for you. Oh! Yeah, yeah, yeah, 31:51 this is called grass, we can sleep on this. 31:56 Oh! Yeah, I call them stars, 31:59 they are beautiful ah! So what they are doing, 32:03 they are getting to know what they are seeing 32:09 around them. Paah! Check the sound. 32:21 God, you know that God created all these things 32:25 for Adam and Eve right. So, when you do 32:29 something for somebody, when you do something 32:34 for somebody or when you prepare a gift right 32:39 and when you present that gift to the person 32:43 that you love. And you love the moment 32:49 it's like few seconds. When you give that gift 32:54 and the person realizes you are the one 32:58 that gave the gift. Yes. 33:00 And the person says thank you and you love 33:04 that moment don't you? Yes or no. 33:07 For person to say, Oh! Thank you realizing 33:11 this thing comes from you and I believe my friends 33:18 God had a same feelings, he was, he was I think 33:23 he is tickle he is like let there be stars in heaven. 33:26 Uhhh! They gonna like this, 33:29 let the water divide itself from water. 33:31 Oh! They gonna enjoy this one. 33:34 Oh! Let the grass and the trees come forth. 33:36 Oh! They gonna really eat these fruits. 33:40 Oh! At the time, he is creating something, 33:42 he just tickle in some ways, 33:45 he just cannot wait just tell them 33:47 he made all these things for them. 33:51 So, on the Sabbath, on the Sabbath day, 33:54 they were asking God what is this? 33:56 And God is like all these in you see, 33:59 yeah that those trees and this good environment. 34:02 I made it for you and they are like, 34:07 Wow! Thank you. Now, what about these things 34:11 that we eat. I call them fruits, 34:13 try this one, I call that mango, 34:18 try that one too, yeah that orange, 34:21 oh! that long thing, okay, I call that banana. 34:25 I mean, I don't know what they say exactly, 34:27 but I'm just imagining my mind 34:30 and, and God is like, I prepare all these things 34:34 for you, what's happening on the Sabbath, 34:37 a Sabbath day? Adam and Eve are getting to know 34:41 the author, the giver of good environment, 34:48 good food, good job and I'm sure Adam is like, 34:55 he just cannot believe this beautiful woman. 34:58 God, while I was sleeping you made this beautiful woman 35:03 and God is like yeah. She is gorgeous, isn't she. 35:08 And Adam now he comes to the completion 35:15 of his happiness. What is it? What is it? 35:20 God knew, God knew, Adam and Eve they cannot be 35:26 happy unless they, they know the creator 35:34 the author of all the good things in their life. 35:41 My friends let me tell you something that was 35:44 what they learned at the first Sabbath and 35:46 we need to be reminded every Seventh Day Sabbath, 35:49 but let me tell you something my friends 35:50 today people, people are confused, 35:57 they are totally confused. 35:58 If you ask them what is the purpose of your life 36:03 they say I want to be happy. 36:06 Yes, they may say Oh! I want to be a CEO of this, 36:08 I want to accomplish this, I want to be a movie star, 36:10 I want to be in sports, I want to do this, 36:12 but at the end of the day what they really want 36:15 is what happy, but with all that things 36:19 notice about job, it's about okay 36:21 if you really analyze what you are thinking 36:23 they, all everybody they all want good place to live, 36:28 good food and good job and good family. 36:33 And people are thinking that's my purpose 36:39 and they trying to have all these things without God. 36:50 And they did not know the author of these things 36:58 and because of that even though they got it 37:03 something is missing, are you buying your Paradise? 37:13 What's the purpose of your life? 37:17 You know Koreans back in 1970, 37:26 there was a time Koreans 37:28 they just wanna go to America why? 37:34 Why they want to go to America? 37:36 Oh! Because America is the land of, 37:41 land flowing with, flowing with milk and money. 37:49 And they just want to go there because 37:52 that's where they can make lots of money. 37:54 But when they go to America, 37:57 when they are looking for a job 38:00 many times they can't get a decent job. Why? 38:04 Even though they graduated from really 38:06 good school from Korea. They cannot get a decent job 38:09 because they don't speak English. 38:13 No English, so they end up finding jobs doing, 38:20 you know, things like cleaning offices, 38:24 picking out rubbish, but when they are cleaning, 38:28 working hard, they really work hard and they go 38:32 some day I am going to buy my Paradise. 38:40 And they really work hard and they save money 38:43 even if they living in a dinky small apartment 38:48 with so many other immigrants, 38:51 no easy, but they endeavor and they had just one goal, 38:56 one purpose. I am going to get 38:59 my Paradise someday. So they move out of 39:04 cleaning office and they start buying these 39:07 7-Eleven stores, but after a while 7-Eleven store. 39:14 Ah! It's too much. Oh! Too many numbers 39:16 to you know, you don't calculate and sometimes 39:19 it will come in the store not with money, 39:22 but with gun. So, Ah! Is just not good, 39:26 so they start doing, they start doing dry 39:31 cleaning business, so because in the dry 39:35 cleaning very easy, you do not want to speak 39:37 that much English. Hello, Good Morning and then 39:40 they get the things and say 999 that's it, 39:44 just they go and they comeback and pick it up 39:46 that's all. Right, so it's real easy 39:49 and then so they work hard and so, now only they have 39:53 one dry cleaning, but also have like the second one 39:55 and third one and they were, they really 39:57 working hard and they don't care, 40:00 I've to wake up early in the morning. 40:02 They don't care they have to go to sleep late 40:03 in the evening why? Because they got to buy 40:06 this Paradise and then they have children, 40:09 you know, and they have to provide things for 40:11 them and they have to make sure that they are 40:15 well dressed and they go to the best school 40:17 and I don't about you, but you know Koreans 40:21 can be really proud. There is no way they can 40:25 send your children to like in a local state 40:28 government community college. 40:31 They have to go to you know big ones, 40:33 Harvard and Stanford and Yale and these big ones, 40:38 and oh, they cannot just drive, 40:40 in the beginning they can endure driving, 40:42 you know little dinky Gia. 40:44 But then later on they gotta move to Mercedes, 40:47 I'm not saying it's, you know, 40:48 it's evil to drive them, but they just, just 40:51 striving to have these nice cars and big houses. 40:56 So, in order to maintain their status, 40:59 looking better than Mr. Kim over their 41:02 they have to like, you know little more money, 41:05 so they work even harder. 41:07 So, but all this time something is telling them 41:11 rest in me, come to me, rest in me, abide in me, 41:20 but they know exactly that voice and they are like, 41:22 oh! not now, not now, I have three dry 41:25 cleaning stores, I have four kids, 41:30 I gonna pay off my mortgage not now, 41:34 so they just keep pressing, pressing , pressing, 41:36 they turn 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 ,65, and now 41:45 they can retire, but they go uhmm! 41:51 I want to get just little more from the Government, 41:53 so let me work three more years, 68 now. 41:58 Oh! They are like okay I worked enough, 42:01 my children's are fine and my business is good, 42:05 now I have the money to buy my Paradise. 42:10 So, they are looking for this Paradise with cash, 42:14 as they are looking, looking, looking, 42:17 oh! I have a problem with the low back, 42:21 Ah! The kidney's not functioning well, 42:24 Ah! They are diabetic or blood pressure is too high 42:28 or the heart is skipping time to time. 42:31 So, what do they do? They don't just trust, 42:34 you know, Government run health care 42:37 they wanna go to the specialist, 42:41 so they spend their money paying the specialists, 42:47 all the medications and all the examinations 42:50 and all this, and all the money is kind a gone 42:53 and only little bit left, that they can buy 42:57 their Paradise and they buy a Paradise a garden. 43:04 I think it's about one meter by three meters. 43:07 Oh! It's a nice grass, green grass, 43:11 green grass, soft grass. Oh! They even get a 43:14 nice marble stone and I think it goes down like 43:21 a three meters down, I don't that two meters down 43:24 and then on the marble stone it says rest in peace. 43:34 What are you find? 43:41 Some people they may not have the best environment, 43:46 some people they may not have enough food, 43:50 some people they may not have the best job 43:53 and some people, they may have dysfunctional family. 44:00 What if they know the author of life, 44:08 the creator of this world, they can be happy 44:16 and satisfied and they are compliance. 44:23 Oh!
