00:27 'Homecoming 2009'. 00:32 Featuring inspired messages from your 3ABN Family, 00:39 along with uplifting Christian music 00:41 all to you prepare your hunt 00:43 for the coming of the Lord. 00:48 Well, hello and welcome back again to the 2009 00:52 Fall Camp Meeting for 3ABN. 00:54 We call this Homecoming because 00:56 it's like coming home, but we gotta a whole bunch 00:58 of people here today 00:59 that are here for the first time, 01:01 and we're so glad that you could join us. 01:03 And we want to welcome everyone who's watching 01:06 from home or on the Internet, 01:08 or even listening on the radio around the world. 01:11 You know what, 3ABN, 25 years of ministering 01:17 to the broken people of the world, 01:20 the lost and the suffering 01:22 and preaching the undiluted truth. 01:25 Praise the Lord; it's just so exciting, isn't it? 01:28 And someone who was here at the beginning 01:32 is Pastor Kenny Shelton, 01:34 and you know I think that Goldie and Danny, 01:37 your mom and dad did such a great job 01:40 in rearing these children because 01:42 most of these Sheltons, I think all of them 01:44 just about have ended up in this ministry. 01:46 And Kenny's been ministering since 3ABN 01:49 and for the last 25 years as a Pastor 01:53 and an Evangelist and he is currently 01:55 the Pastor of the Herrin, 01:57 a church in Herrin called Behold the Lamb. 02:00 And we're just so thankful that he is here. 02:03 He is going to be giving us a message, 02:05 this one thing I know, 02:09 you only need to know one thing 02:11 and that is God loved you so much, 02:14 that he sent his son to die 02:16 for you while you're still a sinner. 02:18 Amen. Glory to God. 02:20 But before Kenny comes about to to share this 02:22 beautiful message with us, we have Pam Rhodes, 02:25 and Pam is the other half of Pam and Jimmy Rhodes, 02:29 they're from Cleveland, Tennessee, 02:31 and she says I sang. Is that how you say it. 02:35 Do what. You sang. I sang. She sings. 02:38 We sang and we play. She sangs he plays. 02:42 There you go. Okay she is going to be singing 02:45 I'm Almost Home'. Thank you. 03:03 Sometimes life gets so heavy, 03:07 and I get so weary. 03:11 Of fighting the good fight of faith 03:18 and the world seems to glitter with it's fake 03:22 gold and silver, tempting me to give up the rays. 03:32 Close the door Lord behind me on these things 03:38 that find me and then remind me again 03:46 that I am so away from stranger 03:54 in search of the world without end. 04:00 I'm almost home where Jesus is waiting, 04:08 where Angels are singing, 04:12 and where I'll never grow old. 04:19 Hallelujah I'm almost home. 04:30 All the sickness and dying 04:33 with the sadness and crying, 04:37 Will all be a thing of the past, 04:44 this world and it's sorrow makes me long for 04:50 tomorrow where all things will be new at last. 04:58 No more heartaches or grieving, for soon I will be 05:05 leaving for a land where I'll never grow old. 05:13 I have sweet music playing in sooth, 05:18 I'll be singing up along in that city of God. 05:26 I'm almost home where Jesus is waiting, 05:35 where Angels are singing 05:38 and where I will never grow old. 05:45 Hallelujah. Hello 06:53 Good to see each one. 06:55 I'm glad you're here with us today. 06:57 I'm glad to be part of the homecoming 07:00 by the way of 3ABN. 07:02 And I like to thank, I like the term camp meeting. 07:05 I like the term Homecoming too. 07:08 That's good to be part number one 07:10 of the family of God, isn't it? Amen. 07:11 So we're glad that everyone's here. 07:13 We pray that you are prayed up. 07:16 Ready to hear the word that God has in store for us. 07:19 Have you been blessed so far? Amen. 07:21 Praise the Lord. I'm glad that you've been blessed, 07:24 and more blessings to come 07:26 and I want to encourage each one 07:27 to be in the attitude of prayer as God 07:29 does special things at camp meetings 07:32 and homecomings just like this. 07:34 I want to just bring couple of points here 07:37 before we begin our message; 07:39 the message has been a real encouragement to me 07:41 because God always speaks to my heart. 07:43 He teaches me and then you know 07:46 as it comes forward we pray the Holy Spirit 07:49 will take and give you what you need. 07:51 I want to bring an interesting book 07:54 I like it's called 'The Great Controversy. 07:57 And there was something in there that I jotted down 07:59 and if you'll just let me read it to you 08:01 before we begin because our subject 08:03 is this one thing I know, 08:07 this one thing I know. 08:09 And then there's like little dots after that, 08:12 and so we are going to fill in the blanks 08:14 by the grace of God. 08:15 But The Great Controversy page 488 says this. 08:18 Now remember the battle is for the mind, 08:23 the devil wants your mind, 08:24 of course Christ wants our mind. 08:26 And this is what it says, 08:27 and I want you to listen carefully. 08:29 It says Satan, he invents a number 08:32 of schemes to occupy the minds, 08:35 that they may not dwell upon the work 08:38 in which they ought to be acquainted. 08:41 So what does the devil do, what does he want? 08:43 He invents, alright, 08:46 all kinds of things to occupy our minds 08:48 so that we can't have them stayed on Jesus Christ. 08:52 He doesn't want the name of Jesus 08:53 mentioned by the way. 08:55 It goes on, it says the old arch deceiver; 08:59 he hates the great truths that bring in to view 09:03 the atoning sacrifice and an all powerful mediator. 09:07 So the devil does not want to hear the name of Jesus, 09:10 does he? Doesn't want to talk, 09:11 doesn't want to talk about the power 09:13 in the name of Jesus. 09:15 But you know today 09:17 we're just going to make the devil mad, 09:19 if that's alright with you. Amen. 09:21 Your relationship with Christ is all right. 09:23 We're just going to make him mad because at times 09:25 like this we need to talk about Jesus. 09:28 We need to talk about that atoning sacrifice. 09:30 We need to talk about that powerful blood, 09:34 and for those who view and listen around the world, 09:36 praise God, I want them to stay tuned in. Amen. 09:40 Because God's going to do something very special. 09:42 He is going to revive his people 09:44 here in these last days. 09:45 So we're going to talk about 09:46 Jesus point number two. 09:48 Another favorite book and now if say favorite book 09:51 all the time you just bear with me alright 09:52 because every time I read it's my favorite. 09:55 Every time up here that I hear the song, 09:56 I say oh that's my favorite, 09:58 and at the time I guess it really is. Amen. 10:01 But Desire of Ages is a beautiful book 10:03 on the life of Jesus Christ. 10:05 Page 152, it says 'We should 10:08 never give to the world the false impression 10:12 that Christians are a gloomy, 10:14 and unhappy people. 10:17 So today oh the devil is going to be mad because 10:20 we're going to talk about Jesus 10:21 and when we do we're going to have a 10:23 smile on our face, right. Yes. 10:25 And I see a lot of smiles; 10:27 I know you're happy in Jesus. 10:29 And I just want to encourage by the way 10:30 there's many people I know who view 10:31 in the local areas here, 10:34 and we need, they're probably sitting 10:36 at home right now and they're tuned in 10:38 and they're listening, watching 10:39 whatever it might be, 10:40 and they're saying I like the courage to go. 10:42 I want to encourage that when you be 10:44 praying those people come out. 10:45 Amen. Anybody within driving 10:47 distance ought to be here, 10:49 and I still encourage even the pastors who may hear 10:52 or congregations that's local around here 10:55 Sabbath Day is close your doors and come here. 10:57 Amen. I hear a few amen, 10:59 but we're going to get a little more violent 11:01 as we go aren't we isn't that right? Yeah, 11:03 we're going to close those doors, and we need to come 11:05 where the blessings are falling. Amen. 11:07 This is a point of time by God, 11:09 and God is going to do great things. 11:11 Now that means that the people going Saturday 11:14 will be closing their doors hopefully 11:15 and they will be coming here to 11:16 fellowship together as a, in unity. 11:19 And by the way those who go on Sunday, 11:20 you don't have to close anything down 11:21 on Saturday just come on. 11:23 Amen. Alright, 11:24 come on in because they've been watching 11:27 and they've been listening for years 11:28 and they don't have the courage to take that step, 11:30 and we are going to pray they take that step 11:32 before it's too late. Amen. 11:33 So I am happy to be a part of 11:35 the family of God today, happy to be here. 11:38 We're going to talk about this one 11:39 thing I know and it's, 11:40 we had a hand out by the way, 11:42 you have these hand outs, 11:43 and so you just don't really 11:44 let them occupy you right now 11:47 because if I see you reading, 11:48 and I'll say hey stop reading it. 11:50 But you can take them home with you can't you, 11:52 take them home and you can study on in to see 11:54 whether these things be so or not because 11:56 the word of God we want to be truth. 11:58 And so as you're turning in your Bible's to Titus 12:00 chapter 2 verse 13, 12:02 that is going to be our foundation pillar right 12:05 and our scripture that we're going to use today 12:09 that will help us, and I pray that would give 12:11 you encouragement, it's very simple, 12:12 but it's one of my, one of my favorites. 12:15 Titus 2 verse 13, the Bible says 12:18 'Looking for that blessed, blessed what? Hope. 12:21 Blessed hope and glorious appearing 12:24 of the Great God and Savior Jesus Christ. 12:28 Oh friends, think about that 12:29 with me for a moment today. 12:32 This passage should be the hope of every Christian. 12:36 Amen. This is what keeps us 12:38 going during the hours right, 12:40 it seemed to be so dark. 12:42 And the world you know the condition that's in today, 12:45 as I read this it gives me encouragement. 12:47 Jesus said that he is coming back 12:49 and so I am looking for that blessed hope. 12:52 I'm looking for the soon coming of Jesus. 12:55 It instills encouragement and strength. 12:58 It is that hope, that encouragement 13:03 that makes me think today about going home, 13:06 and then we can turn it around 13:08 and say it makes me think about homecoming, 13:11 and what's happening right here, 13:13 a little fore taste of what maybe 13:15 heaven is going to be like. 13:18 This is the things that should be 13:19 occupying our mind. 13:22 It's long expected the coming of Jesus, 13:26 and every time I hear the name of Jesus, 13:27 there's something inside of me 13:28 that begins to come forward. 13:31 And it, always the urgency is that it won't be long, 13:34 and I am going to be there. Amen. 13:36 And it always comes back to me, are you ready? 13:39 Are you ready to meet Jesus when he comes in 13:41 the clouds of glory? Amen. 13:43 And when I think of homecoming, 13:47 I think of making my own home, right, 13:49 the home you're growing up in, 13:51 maybe the home that you live in right now, 13:52 but home is a place of surety. 13:55 Home is a place of rest, home is peace, 13:58 you know a place of peace. 14:00 We can find comfort when there is nothing else 14:03 you know in the world. 14:04 But I challenge you right now 14:06 while we're waiting on that blessed hope, 14:08 then why not today, 14:10 why not today right here at 3ABN right here, 14:14 right now, let this be a little piece of heaven. 14:16 Amen. Why not breathe the air of heaven, 14:19 why not get closer to heaven through Jesus Christ, 14:22 a little part of heaven. I desire to taste it, 14:26 I desire to see it. In fact Hebrews 14:29 11 talks about 16 and 17, 14:31 that if you hear me today 14:33 you're thinking I desire a better country, 14:36 you remember reading that in the book of 14:37 Hebrews chapter 11, the faith chapter. 14:39 I'm desiring what? A better country. 14:42 Are you desiring a better country today? Amen. 14:45 See there are some out there they don't know 14:47 about this other country. 14:48 They're occupied right here, right now, 14:50 and it's soon to pass away, 14:52 but the things of God will be forever. 14:54 And by the way he says there in Hebrews 11, 14:57 he says, I've gone to prepare a city for them, 15:00 he is gone to prepare a place for us. 15:02 I want to occupy that, how about you? Amen. 15:05 This one thing I know 15:08 we have to be positive in our Christian experience. 15:12 I'm sure of this as I've been studying scripture 15:15 that if the curtains could be rolled back 15:18 and that we could see the battles that's going on, 15:21 the battle between Christ, 15:24 the Great Controversy and the Enemy. 15:28 It might just change our life; 15:30 it might change our thinking to realize that 15:32 there is somebody fighting our battles for us. 15:36 How encouraging that would be, 15:38 how thankful we would be? 15:41 As we see the battle that's going on, 15:43 maybe it would bring us to the point 15:45 that we would strive to be on the side of right. 15:47 Strive to be on the side of God. 15:50 We will be willing be to put on the whole 15:51 armor of God by his grace and strength. 15:54 The battle rages friends' by the way 15:56 three important areas. 15:59 I'll bring these home to you very quickly. 16:01 And by the way those who are viewing, listening, 16:03 sometimes it's good to jot things down 16:04 so that we don't forget. 16:06 I always say I will remember it 16:07 and then I forget. 16:09 So we jot things down because we must study 16:13 to see whether these things be so or not. 16:15 But the battle rages, 16:17 think about that curtain that's rolled back 16:19 and God reveals what's going on every day, 16:21 the battle that the devil says I want that person. 16:24 I'm out to get that person. 16:26 The devil's been up all night long 16:28 setting plans for you, 16:29 to trip you up for the day, 16:31 and God is there fighting for us. 16:34 God is fighting for us; 16:36 he's fighting in behalf of the saints. Amen. 16:40 Now you can put yourself in any class 16:42 that you want to, I prefer by the grace of God 16:44 to be in the class of the saints, 16:45 how about you? Amen. 16:47 And so the battle is being fought now 16:49 in behalf of the saints. Number two, 16:51 the battle is being fought for thousands, 16:55 literally millions of people 16:58 who don't even sense their danger. 17:00 That's right. Amen. 17:01 There are people in the world today by the way, 17:03 around the world they have no idea 17:06 of the coming of Jesus Christ, 17:07 they may have heard it, 17:08 but it doesn't make sense to them. Amen. 17:11 And so this battle is still being fought for those 17:13 who don't even recognize they're in danger. 17:18 And the third group, 17:20 the battle is being fought 17:22 for those who are unconscious 17:25 of their indifference. 17:27 Friend, there maybe nothing worse in this world, 17:29 to call our self a Christian and to be indifferent 17:32 to the things that are going on. 17:34 God help us not to be indifferent, 17:36 God help us to get involved, 17:38 God help us to see the things that are going 17:40 in the world that we want to raise our 17:42 voice like a trumpet. 17:44 Give it a certain sound. 17:46 Friend, if we really believed 17:48 that heaven is fighting in our behalf, 17:50 what we would be doing? 17:53 If we really know this today, 17:54 I think we will be shouting from the mountain tops, 17:57 don't you? We wouldn't be withdrawn, 17:59 we wouldn't be quiet about it, 18:00 we are going to shout thank God 18:03 he is fighting our battle. Amen. 18:05 And here at 3ABN, right here, 18:07 right now prayers have been raised up, 18:10 that the power of the Holy Spirit 18:12 would be failed here, 18:14 that would be sensed, 18:16 that hearts and lives would be changed. Amen. 18:20 I am thankful for those prayers. 18:24 And as we think about prayer, 18:26 I want you to just bow your head right now 18:28 as we get in and begin to talk more and more. 18:30 The second and third the prayers 18:32 that we have already had that God would bless, 18:34 that God would help, would you just close your eyes. 18:37 Father in heaven blessed with thy Holy Spirit, 18:40 pour out your spirit upon us, 18:42 open our hearts and our minds 18:43 that we may see Jesus today. 18:46 In your word, may become alive. 18:51 May we have a change of heart in life; 18:53 I thank you in Jesus name. Amen. 18:57 This one thing I know, I know he's alive, 19:00 and I know that he's well today, 19:02 I know he sits on the throne, 19:04 and because of prayer 19:05 because of intercessory prayer, 19:07 because of the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 19:10 I can say this one thing I know for sure that one 19:14 greater is here today then Moses. 19:16 Can you say that? Amen. 19:18 There is one greater here by the way then Abraham. 19:22 There's one present with us 19:23 that's greater than Jacob, 19:25 Isaac, and John. Amen. 19:28 Because my Bible tells me, 19:29 as you read your Bible First John 4 verse 4, 19:32 the Bible is very clear by the way it says, 19:34 greater is he that is in me than he what, 19:37 that is in the world. Do you believe that today? 19:39 Amen. What does the Bible say, greater. 19:43 We have nothing to fear friend, 19:45 we fear we forget you know where we've come from. 19:48 What's happened in our life, 19:49 the experiences of our life? 19:51 Greater is he, 19:54 I wonder today if we really realize 19:56 the great preparation that's taking place 19:58 right now in heaven, 20:00 and on earth for the coming of Jesus Christ. 20:02 This is our blessed hope isn't it, 20:04 and so we talk about the blessed hope somebody 20:06 needs to smile just a little bit, 20:08 somebody is going to get happy about it, 20:09 because someone is fighting our battle, 20:11 someone has paid the price for us, 20:13 Jesus Christ. Amen. 20:15 We need that confidence, we need that assurance. 20:19 Preparation, Jesus is just about 20:21 to split the eastern sky. Amen. 20:25 His coming is very imminent, 20:28 and yet there is a tremendous 20:30 amount of work to do and I'm thankful that it's 20:32 under the control of God, and that God is looking, 20:35 looking around and he is picking 20:36 and he is choosing men, he is calling everybody 20:38 to be the part of the final work. 20:41 Friends, if you think for one moment 20:42 that in Adventism that this is just a run 20:44 of the mill gospel that we have to preach you, 20:47 you need to think again. Amen. 20:48 This is a specific message, 20:50 this is a testing message, 20:52 this is a message for the hour. Amen. 20:55 It's a message that will give us victory in our life. 20:57 It's a testing truth that we'll be required 21:00 as we are going to learn this truth 21:01 is to take a stand for what is right. 21:03 We're not going to go ahead and worry what mom 21:05 and dad's saying, we are not going to 21:06 worry about what the husband 21:07 and wife maybe saying if it comes to 21:09 that if you follow my thinking, hello. Amen. 21:14 That we are going to take our stand 21:16 for Jesus Christ, regardless. Amen. 21:19 What a message that God has entrusted us with today. 21:23 This is something that I know, 21:26 this is something that we have to know, 21:29 this is life and death issue. 21:34 Have you ever thought about, 21:35 let me just ask you a question, 21:36 have you ever thought about 21:38 what is the greatest work in the world. 21:42 Everybody will have their own little thought, 21:44 but I want you to just really think 21:45 what is the greatest work in the world 21:48 and if who or what, what would be the theme of it. 21:52 If there would be theme of the greatest 21:54 work in the world, what would it be, 21:55 who would it be? 21:58 Friends, it's very simple, 22:00 the New Testament in the book of John chapter 12, 22:03 Bible says verse 32 Jesus said and I, right, 22:09 if I be lifted up from what will draw all men where? 22:12 This is it, isn't that it, this is the key to it, 22:16 to lift up the name of Jesus, 22:18 isn't that right from the earth? 22:21 Our theme then must be Jesus Christ 22:23 and him crucified. 22:27 Friend, I want you to think, 22:28 our theme too must be Jesus Christ 22:30 and him crucified. Our theme is not our self, 22:33 our theme is not about the ministry, 22:34 the theme is Jesus Christ and him crucified. 22:38 The devil can't stand to hear this by the way, 22:40 you know that. 22:43 And so I don't know about you 22:44 but I am challenged daily, 22:46 have to pray daily. Amen. 22:50 Paul said it so beautifully 22:51 in the First Corinthians 2 verse 2, 22:54 he said, for I'm determined not to know what, 22:57 any thing right among you say, Jesus Christ 23:01 and him crucified. When we come to that point, 23:03 how different our lives will be. 23:05 When we come to that point in our Christian 23:07 experience to say I am determined not 23:09 to know anything right, 23:11 that's going on in the world, 23:13 it's nice to have a little information, 23:14 but I am set my mind and heart upon heaven, 23:17 upon eternal things. 23:20 How desperately we need to hear good news 23:22 in this world in the time in which we live. 23:24 I need to hear it, how about you? Amen. 23:26 Why should our theme be 23:28 Jesus Christ and him crucified, 23:30 why should that be our theme, 23:32 why should that be our goal, 23:33 why should that be our mission 23:35 to lift up the name of Jesus. 23:36 What will it do if we lift up his name? 23:40 Will it change your life, will it change your heart. 23:43 Bible says in Second Corinthians 3 verse 18 23:46 notice it quickly you have all these down, 23:48 you can study them when you get home 23:49 but the Bible simply says beholding as in a glass, 23:52 somebody help with it, the glory of whom, the Lord. 23:57 Are we changed into what? The same image. 24:02 Oh hallelujah, when you think about this, 24:06 as we behold him, we become, 24:08 become changed what? 24:10 Like him in his image you know 24:12 that after all in the very beginning right, 24:14 where we created a what? In his image, 24:16 sin came in and it did what? 24:18 It marred that imaged and he's going to come 24:20 and he is going to restore that image, 24:22 it makes sense. 24:23 Amen. It makes sense. 24:25 Now we know this too, right. 24:27 When his right, what is it? 24:28 When his image is fully reproduced what, 24:32 come on somebody help me. 24:34 When his image is fully 24:36 reproduced in us he will come. 24:39 There are many Adventists, and many Bible people 24:41 is studying the word, they'll say, 24:42 well this is going to happen 24:43 and this is going to happen, 24:45 and it may come to pass. 24:47 God's word is true. Amen. 24:50 But what God is waiting on, 24:52 dear friends is what? When his character 24:53 is fully reproduced in us he will come, 24:55 that's the only thing that's stopping him. Amen. 24:59 When we catch a view of Jesus Christ, 25:01 now the question we will say oh okay 25:03 we understand that, oh we know that. 25:06 How can this be done. Lets do it simply today. 25:09 You can spend hours studying if you want to, 25:11 but let's do it really simply 25:12 I found this in the Spirit of Prophecy, 25:14 one of the books there. 25:16 Actually it was a letter that was 25:17 written on 1/08 in 1899, 25:21 and it says when Christ is loved more than self. 25:26 Simple answer did you get it. 25:28 When Christ is what, 25:29 when Christ is loved more than self then his what, 25:32 character will be fully reproduced in us, 25:34 self is the big issue then isn't it? 25:36 It is for everybody, it's the root of all sin, 25:39 it's the bottom of everything, 25:42 and that's all he is waiting on. 25:45 So we've got a lot of people right 25:46 with self evidently still left, 25:48 it needs to be crucified, 25:49 then only God can help us to do that. 25:51 Now what will be holding Jesus do for us? 25:56 It will change us won't it, 25:57 it will change us, we set into his image, 25:59 but what will you do when you really behold Jesus 26:01 it will lead us from sin to obedience, 26:04 and from obedience to holiness. Amen. 26:07 Which Hebrews says without holiness 26:09 no man is going to see God. Amen. 26:12 We have to have that holiness don't we, 26:14 coming from him. This is what it's all about, 26:16 that's when we behold him, 26:18 we're talking about true holiness, 26:20 that can only come from the power 26:21 of the Holy Spirit working inside of us through us. 26:26 Men, may I say today this is our message, 26:29 this is our doctrine, this is our teaching, 26:33 this is our encouragement, 26:35 this is our hope today. Amen. 26:37 And friend we need that hope, 26:40 this one thing I know. 26:45 My Bible tells me today 26:46 and I know you've been reading it. 26:50 And the principle is there, 26:51 I serve a risen savior. Amen. 26:54 How many here today by the way 26:55 those that maybe around you can raise your hand 26:57 and while your home, or listening on the radio, 26:58 how many today really believe 27:00 that you serve a risen savior. 27:01 May I see your hands, okay maybe so the rest 27:03 of you will find out when it's over. 27:08 See sometime we're afraid to even make a 27:10 commitment and whoever knows that. 27:12 We're afraid somebody is going 27:13 to give us a trick question, 27:16 they're going to throw us off, 27:17 we are going to say the wrong thing. 27:19 But it's very, very simple 27:21 do you serve a savior or not. 27:23 I serve a risen savior, 27:25 the song says he's in the world today. Amen. 27:27 As we serve that risen savior today dear friends, 27:30 we serve one who is all powerful. 27:32 We serve a God today that does not sleep, 27:35 and a God that cares for us. 27:38 We serve a God that's never 27:40 lost a battle by the way. Amen. 27:43 And I need somebody to be 27:44 fighting in my defense. Amen. 27:46 But I am going to have to stand up 27:47 and claim him as my Lord and Savior. 27:49 He can't fight for you unless you say 27:50 I want you in my life. 27:52 He can't fight unless you say, 27:53 Lord I want you to forgive my sins. 27:56 He is wanting to fight for you, 27:57 he never loses a battle. 28:00 I am so thankful today that I serve this 28:02 living savior dear friend because he is my savior, 28:05 he is my provider, he is my all in all, 28:07 how about you today, yes. Yes. Amen. 28:11 And I serve a savior today and I know that you do too. 28:13 His blood is so powerful 28:14 that cleansed my sins. Amen. 28:18 First John 1:9, isn't that right. Amen. 28:20 We confess and he can cleanse us. 28:24 And I know there are people who will listen, 28:26 they're watching us, they'll say oh yeah 28:27 but I am too vile. I've done too many bad things, 28:30 and I know the Lord cannot forgive me. 28:32 Dear friends there is not a place low enough 28:34 or deep enough that God can't reach you today. 28:36 Amen. Is somebody listening? Amen. 28:40 This is hope, this should be encouragement to us. 28:45 Psalms says when heaven came down, 28:47 glory filled my soul. Amen. 28:50 There needs to be more glory in the church. 28:52 Amen. There needs to be 28:55 some more excitement in the church because 28:57 he came down and he came down to get me 29:00 and he came down to get you. Amen. 29:02 And he was determined not to leave until he got you, 29:05 but you're gonna have to say Lord 29:06 I need some help. Yes. 29:09 Peter would have been down for the count, 29:11 if he hadn't said Lord save me, 29:13 isn't that right. He was going down that was it, 29:15 no life, we wouldn't have seen 29:17 or heard from him again. 29:19 But he got smart when he was going down he said 29:21 Lord Help me. And let me tell you 29:24 there has never been a time 29:25 in the history of this world of mankind, 29:27 that when a honest heart cries out Lord help me, 29:30 Lord save me, 29:31 that he doesn't reach down immediately 29:32 and drag you out of that mess. Amen. 29:35 He cleans you up and he sets 29:36 you on fire for him. Amen. 29:39 This place ought to be so hot out here, 29:40 they call the fire department, 29:42 something ought to be going on out here. 29:43 People need to know that you have 29:45 something in your heart, 29:46 they need to know that you have 29:47 something in your life. Amen. 29:49 This is what it's all about. 29:51 It's just difficult to mention the name of 29:53 esus without a smile. Amen. 29:56 Isn't it difficult to talk about the hope, 29:58 it might sound, well this is my hope. 30:00 Well friend, that's not going to work. 30:05 When there is hope, you say there is hope. Amen. 30:08 When you can't pay the house payment, 30:10 the roof is falling 30:11 and you think oh this is such a mess, 30:13 and all of a sudden a miracle is done, 30:15 yes praise God, this is good. 30:19 God is in the business, God wants to reach you, 30:23 he wants to touch us today. 30:24 Friend, why do we stay the same that we are, 30:27 why aren't we growing more in grace 30:28 in the love of Jesus Christ, 30:30 in his power and in his strength, 30:32 are we not beholding him. 30:35 Oh friend, this one thing I know, 30:40 I serve a risen savior today. Amen. 30:44 And I'm thankful that he was willing to 30:45 reach down and to touch me. 30:47 There was no place, there is no place 30:49 was lower then I haven't been, 30:53 but when I cried out God was there. Amen. 30:57 He was merciful in his long suffering. 31:01 I'm thankful for that blood, this is one thing 31:03 that I know from scripture, 31:05 and that's why I can say today praise God. 31:09 I'm looking for that blessed hope 31:10 and the soon coming of Jesus. 31:14 One of the greatest miracles, 31:18 you have your Bible, you may want to just turn 31:20 there quickly if you like in John chapter 9, 31:23 we are not going to read all the verses 31:24 because of our time. 31:28 But oh I love this, 31:31 and I want you to think through the power 31:34 of thy sweet Holy Spirit right now. 31:36 Remember spiritual things are spiritually discerned. 31:40 And we do not bring anything in 31:42 here in the presence of God 31:44 that's going to destroy that peace 31:46 and hearing from heaven, 31:48 do you believe that. Amen. 31:49 How desperately we need to hear from heaven. 31:52 This is why, this is so valuable here, 31:55 this institution, 3ABN going into all the world. 31:59 Alright people, I read something here today 32:00 they said we've got a plan, 32:02 I am not trying to criticize, condemn anybody. 32:04 I am just saying, I am thinking about it. 32:06 If we do this and this and this and this and this, 32:09 somebody stay with me, and this and this. 32:12 In the next five years we'll reach the world, 32:14 you can do it right now; 32:15 you're doing it right now within a second. Amen. 32:21 This was in the letter. 32:23 We do this, this, this, and this. 32:25 Five years we will reach the world, 32:26 you're doing it now. What a blessing, 32:30 why not getting involved, why not get on board, 32:34 if you don't you're going to be left out. 32:37 John chapter 9, you remember the story 32:40 very well about the blind man. 32:42 I'm not going to go into all the detail 32:43 but if those who by the way maybe have never 32:46 heard it sometime you have to go back 32:48 and just fill in the blanks a little bit, 32:49 so you suffer along okay, if you know it well, 32:52 if I know better than I do. But John Chapter 9 32:54 talks about the blind man, 32:56 you know the story he said that Jesus made 32:58 some clay, you know what he did, 32:59 he made some clay, he put it on the man's eyes 33:01 and then he told him to do what? He said go wash. 33:06 Interesting? And when he went washed what happened. 33:10 He could see. He could see. 33:11 Can you imagine, remember Jesus touched this man, 33:16 and his life was never the same. 33:19 When he touches you, your life will never be the same, 33:21 if it's the same old, same old all the time, 33:23 it's because he has not touched you. 33:26 His manna, his word is fresh everyday. 33:29 We're getting the day old stuff 33:30 when we should be getting the fresh goodies, 33:32 are you still with me? Amen. 33:34 Don't settle for it, 33:35 he said I want to give you fresh manna. Amen. 33:41 And so he had been touched by Jesus, 33:42 oh his life had been turned around. 33:47 What a story that is. 33:49 Everything that could be said, 33:50 everything that could be done 33:52 was to just credit Jesus, 33:53 do you remember. Remember, 33:55 a lot of times when you're doing the work 33:56 of Jesus Christ somebody stay with me, 33:58 when you're doing the work of Jesus Christ 33:59 everybody does their very best to discredit you. 34:03 They want to talk about you, 34:04 they want to criticize you, 34:05 they want to condemn you. Amen. 34:09 When you're on the front line, 34:10 they like to take shots at you as you will know, 34:12 many of you. This is not the work 34:15 of the Holy Spirit; 34:17 this is not the work of God's people, 34:19 but the work of the enemy. 34:21 We should be praying for and supporting those 34:24 who are on the front line. 34:25 They're giving their life 34:26 for the cause of Jesus Christ. Amen. 34:28 This is the time that we need to shoulder together, 34:30 we need to pray together, we need to work together 34:33 while there is still time. Amen. 34:35 Here this man was blind he couldn't see, 34:37 Jesus came and just a few short thing done bump, 34:39 bump, bump; go wash and then he could see 34:41 the people were mad, the leadership was mad, 34:44 oh who did this thing, we want to find out 34:46 who did this. Wow! 34:50 And it came even to the very point 34:54 that when someone of the leaders 34:55 came to mom and dad or the blind man. 34:58 You remember what mom and dad do? 35:02 Hey, don't ask me, ask him, 35:05 you like the way you put off to blame somebody else. 35:08 They were afraid they were going to get in trouble, 35:09 mom and dad turned on their son. 35:11 And it says there, oh he is blind he sees, 35:13 go ask him, he is of age. 35:22 And so they went to the man that once was blind 35:25 and they said who did this thing to you, 35:27 who did this. 35:30 And the poor blind man says I don't know, 35:33 I need somebody to stay with me. 35:36 This man, he had been touched by Jesus Christ 35:41 and they say well, who did this thing. 35:43 He said I don't know, 35:45 and I can't help but thank somebody who said, 35:47 what did he look like? I don't know, 35:51 I don't know that either. 35:53 I don't know what he looks like, 35:54 what do you mean you don't know, 35:55 I wouldn't know if he was in a line up. 35:58 I would not know because he told me to go wash 36:00 and when I washed, he is gone, 36:03 I don't know. 36:06 But boy the statement that he made, 36:09 that the subject, what did this man say, I didn't, 36:13 I didn't see him. He just put something 36:16 on my eyes and he said go wash, and see, 36:18 I don't know, he said that this is one thing 36:20 I do know what a testimony. Amen. 36:23 What a testimony, this one thing I know, 36:26 when I was blind he said now I what? 36:28 now I see. 36:31 Friend, you've been in that predicament spiritually, 36:38 then I was blind now I see, you say well, 36:42 I don't know about what Jesus says about baptism, 36:45 I can't explain the 2300 days, 36:47 I don't know about the three angel's message. 36:49 When Jesus touches you dear friends 36:51 something happens inside, 36:53 and you gave a testimony why? 36:54 Because those who were once on drugs, 36:56 now they're free from it because he touched them, 36:58 they'll say my, I don't know, 37:00 although there is one thing I know I was on drugs, 37:03 I'm not now, somebody has touched me. Amen. 37:06 And when he touches you things happen, 37:08 things change, when you're on the alcohol and tobacco, 37:12 and you're you know before he's touched you. 37:15 You put, your eyes have been beholding 37:17 those things that they shouldn't beholding. 37:19 Your ears had been listening those 37:20 things you shouldn't, 37:21 some people have been sneaking around, 37:23 they think somebody don't know, 37:24 God knows. Amen. 37:26 He maybe sneaking around right 37:28 in the dark but God knows. 37:34 And when he touches you, 37:35 you can have this same response. 37:39 I really don't know and I might like 37:41 to know him in fact my face, 37:43 I haven't even seen him, 37:45 but this one thing I know 37:46 I was blind and now I see. Amen. 37:50 What a witness friend. 37:52 Jesus told us something like 37:54 that about for all of us. 37:56 You remember the passage of scripture 37:58 in First Peter, 2 verse 9, 38:01 he says he has called us out of? 38:04 Darkness. Come on, 38:05 he has called us out of what? Darkness. 38:06 He has called us out of darkness 38:07 into that marvelous life. 38:09 He's called us out of that spiritual; 38:11 the blindness and he's given light. 38:14 How wonderful that is, we've all been there, 38:17 we witness one time we were child of 38:19 darkness isn't it right, 38:20 now we're a child of the light. Amen. 38:23 Why? I don't know all the reasons, 38:25 you maybe a new Christian and say I don't know, 38:27 I don't know what happened, but I know this, 38:29 I'm not the same person as I used to be. Amen. 38:32 Praise God for that. This is exciting, 38:35 this is the Gospel, 38:38 this is what the world needs to hear, 38:40 because the majority are out there, 38:41 the devil has them, and they need to hear that God 38:44 can relieve those things in their life. 38:46 God is the answer to those things, 38:48 if we will cling to him and not to our self. Amen. 38:52 That's one thing that I know. 38:55 My hope and the Bible talks about it in Psalms 39:7, 39:01 my hope today is in Jesus Christ, 39:03 how about you? Amen 39:05 He is my, that's the only hope I have, 39:09 there is no other way out of this life for me. 39:12 I've sinned and come short of the glory of God. 39:14 I needed that atoning blood, how about you? 39:17 I needed to be cleansed from sin. 39:19 I needed a new start, and 39:21 he said I will give you that, 39:22 praise God. Amen. 39:25 To me people in the world say well I used to know 39:27 you, you used to, forget the used to business. 39:30 When you're touched I can say this right, 39:33 all I know is I was blind, but now I see. 39:36 Let them talk if they want to, 39:38 let them go and do the work of 39:40 the devil if they want to, 39:41 but you know that he's touched you today. 39:42 You need to be positive about it. 39:45 When he touches you, you know it, 39:47 so may Adventists, many and 39:48 Christians around the world, 39:50 I don't, I don't know if I am in a saving relationship. 39:54 We've come to the point we're so timid 39:56 we have to be very careful, 39:57 you don't say, well I've been saved. 39:59 You have about twenty people 40:00 that mob you afterwards, and now you remember 40:02 being saved and in saving relationship, yes. 40:10 We're almost afraid to give God the glory. Amen. 40:13 To be in a saving relationship 40:15 with him is awesome. Amen. 40:18 To have him Lord of your lives is awesome. Amen. 40:23 The God of this universe. 40:28 This one thing I know I was blind but now I see. 40:31 He has called me out of darkness 40:33 into that marvelous light. 40:34 My hope is in Jesus Christ, 40:37 and the Bible says this that I must be Roman 12:12, 40:41 I need to be rejoicing in this hope. 40:45 How many are rejoicing today? Amen. 40:47 Okay praise God, rest of you need to wake up 40:49 and start rejoicing, shall we, 40:51 are we ready to go now? Yes. Hey, it's all good, 40:53 isn't that right, it's all good, that's our saying, 40:56 it doesn't matter happens, if it's really bad, 40:58 we are going to say it's all good, because of what? 41:00 We are a part of the family of God. 41:02 He's promised to take care of us 41:03 and to meet our needs and God 41:04 is going to keep his word. 41:06 It's all good. Amen. 41:08 I am going to rejoice today 41:09 in the hope of my salvation, 41:11 we can set by and we smile our face all cracks 41:13 and falls apart if you want to. 41:15 I think we need to smile and be happy why? 41:17 Because of our salvation. 41:19 He's promised a better place for you. 41:21 You want to continue in this mess that you're in, 41:23 you want to continue in this mess 41:24 that you're in like the way that it is. 41:26 Even as a Christian, I want to improve 41:28 every day don't you. Amen. 41:30 I want my relationship with him to improve, 41:31 but the only way that can improve 41:33 if I spend some time with him, 41:35 some real valuable time. 41:38 So, I am going to humble and I am going to hope 41:40 in my salvation. First Thessalonians 5:8, 41:43 read those things when you can't by the way. 41:44 But you know why I am going to say 41:45 this one thing I know, 41:51 is I serve a risen savior today by the way. Amen. 41:55 He is a miracle worker. Amen. 41:59 See I am a thorough believer 42:00 in when you have reunions, 42:02 and you have camp meeting, 42:03 it's a time that we need to rededicate, 42:07 it's a time that we need to have our 42:09 spiritual batteries charged up. 42:12 The world has been draining us, 42:14 and some of us are short circuiting, 42:17 and God doesn't want that, 42:19 and we must plug into the source of power, 42:21 and that is Jesus Christ. 42:23 And this is what this is about, 42:24 this just didn't happen. 42:26 There is a lot of planning, 42:27 a lot of expense, a lot of workers, 42:29 a lot goes into this, you come, I come, 42:31 we just sit and enjoy and praise God. Dear friends, 42:34 I'm telling you we need to get more involved. 42:35 Amen. There needs to be more things 42:37 just like this where we can come, 42:39 that we can gain strength 42:41 and then we can take that to other parts of the world, 42:43 in our own neighborhood, our own backyard. 42:47 When you're encouraged, 42:49 so much easier to go out, isn't it? 42:51 And the word of God is always an 42:53 encouragement to me. 42:54 Oh I serve a risen savior today. Amen. 42:59 I serve a God by the way, 43:03 that he spoke worlds into existence. Amen. 43:06 He just spoke the world, 43:09 and then he spoke to them, 43:13 they said he put the stars up 43:15 there and the Bible said 43:16 he calls them all by name, 43:18 wow. And so as you throw these 43:22 things out into the universe 43:23 and he speaks to them and he says stand fast, 43:27 and you know what? They stand fast. 43:31 Exactly where he put them and the way he created, 43:33 the way he made, you say that's the kind of 43:35 power that God has. 43:38 And then we wonder can he really do 43:40 the work that needs to be done in my life. 43:43 My friend, let me say 43:44 you and I are the only ones in God's way, 43:46 did you know that. 43:47 We're the only ones right preventing from his 43:50 coming back right now because 43:51 we need that image right, fully reproduce. 43:53 Why because there is too much selfishness in it, 43:56 and among God's people 43:57 there is too much backbiting, 43:58 and too much gossiping and too much worldliness, 44:00 we brought it into the church 44:02 instead of the church throwing it out. 44:03 There's a time, this is the time. 44:08 Friend, if it's not the time when is it going to be. 44:11 Why not now? Amen. 44:16 These are things that go through your mind, 44:17 I know as well as mine night 44:18 and day and I wake up tonight 44:19 and the Lord say I am coming. 44:22 And there is so much worldliness inside 44:24 and among us and we are rounded, 44:25 and surrounded by day in and day out. 44:27 It's taking my people, 44:30 and the devil is doing something, 44:31 he is trying to what we read first occupy what, 44:34 the mind, even if it's on maybe good 44:37 things within themselves, 44:38 but we can't contemplate what, 44:39 it talked about the power of the blood of Jesus. 44:44 Where there is victory in the name of Jesus, 44:47 in the blood. Oh how I'd like 44:50 to have been there when Jesus 44:51 turned the water into wine. 44:52 I don't know about you. 44:57 Some of you be careful with that. 45:05 What a miracle worker. See this one thing 45:08 I know when he speaks it happens. 45:14 Jesus told the disciple, you know 45:17 he told the fishermen, he said 45:18 cast your net, you remember that. Yes. 45:20 Oh, I love that he said cast your net, 45:22 but you know what he said, he launch out into the, 45:25 launch out in the deep. 45:27 Oh, don't be faithless church, don't be faithless. 45:32 When God says launch out, 45:33 some of us are, okay we are going to do it Lord, 45:35 we take our little sock off 45:37 and we will get our little toes covered 45:39 and we say, we're launched. 45:41 Oh look at this, man I'm really out there. God said, 45:44 get out into the deep, did you get it? 45:47 He didn't said knee high, 45:48 he didn't say up to the chest, 45:49 he said go out into the deep. 45:52 And it will only be when you're feet 45:54 you see no longer touch the bottom of the water 45:57 and you're out there right giving it this, 45:59 right by faith, right, faith keeping you up, 46:02 and then God said some deep things will happened, 46:04 when they'll launched, when they obey 46:06 the voice of the master, 46:07 the Bible said they, I almost thought 46:09 they got selfish one time, 46:10 I had to be careful with that thought, 46:11 because they got their nets were 46:12 so full that it began to what? 46:15 Break. It began to break, 46:16 but they just kept pulling them in 46:17 and pretty soon what did they say? 46:20 Hey, you guys over there 46:22 that's not catching anything? 46:25 Probably too shallow, are you still with me? 46:28 Come on over here and the more of they were casting 46:31 their nest and the deep the more 46:32 and all of a sudden they said both boats almost sank, 46:35 and that's where I got that selfishness thing, 46:36 I would if it just get out of my mind. 46:39 You know when you're pulling in something good, 46:41 you don't want to stop sometime, 46:42 is somebody with me. 46:43 When you're reading the word of God and it's good, 46:45 you don't want to stop, do you? Amen. 46:48 And when the homecoming here ends 46:50 and camp meeting ends, you won't want to go home, 46:52 you gonna wanna stay because it's so good. 46:56 They said the boat almost sank, 46:58 that's the kind of God that we serve. 46:59 Amen. And in the Bible we read 47:02 where the ten lepers came, 47:05 then Jesus spoke to them and he touched him 47:07 and he healed them, that's the one thing I know, 47:10 that he healed and he touched them. 47:14 He raised people from the dead, 47:16 he took that withered hand, do you remember? 47:19 And he touched that hand, it was like brand new. 47:22 This is one thing that I know, he can touch you, 47:25 he can change you physically, mentally, 47:28 spiritually. Amen. 47:29 And it's time as God's last day 47:31 people that we quit blaming, 47:33 I was born this way, lets stop it right now, 47:35 lets stop it. Amen. 47:39 I couldn't help it, stop it. 47:43 Are you still there? Amen. 47:46 He made me do it, stop it. 47:49 Hope you're following along, those are excuses. 47:52 You cannot give, what are you going to do stand 47:54 before the creator of this universe 47:56 and giving excuses, well he made me do it. 47:59 No, when he says, he is going to what, 48:02 he'd emptied heaven if he needed to. 48:05 All of heaven would come to your aid 48:08 to keep you from falling 48:09 and when you and I began to view sin as it really is, 48:11 we become to hate sin enough 48:13 that we would rather die than willfully sin, 48:16 we've come to a point where Jesus says well done 48:19 and good and faithful servant. Amen. 48:22 Come to that point in our life 48:23 if not God will help us, 48:26 pray for it. Amen. 48:30 Church on fire, what work they can do 48:32 with the power of the Holy Spirit. 48:34 This one thing I know is when Jesus came in 48:37 contact with the demons from hell 48:39 they had to leave, 48:42 they couldn't stay, he cast out the demons 48:46 and Lazarus was dead, right? 48:49 Body was stinking. I love that gospel song 48:54 and I only know a line or two, maybe a word 48:55 or two of it, it doesn't matter, 48:57 this one thing I know. 49:00 I don't have to explain it all, 49:01 I have to sing at all. 49:04 This one thing I know, 49:07 even if he's four days late he's still on time, 49:10 are you still with me? Amen. 49:11 Even when we think he is late, he's still on time, 49:14 he never misses a beat, 49:17 he never said oops or oh oh, I forgot never. 49:23 Because you're foremost on his mind. 49:27 I love that song also it says you know when, 49:29 when he was on the cross I was on his mind, 49:34 oh thank God for that. Amen. 49:37 And he loved you so much 49:38 he wasn't gonna come off of that cross. 49:43 He wouldn't do it, he loved you if it be one, 49:45 I can't fathom all of that. 49:49 How I would, how I want to dig deeper, 49:53 to understand that kind of love, 49:56 because I read from one of Ellen White's book 49:58 sometime it said that we're going to have to 50:00 have the love that Jesus had for our fellow man 50:04 if Heaven's going to be our home. 50:06 That just blew me away, 50:08 we have to have the same kind of love that Jesus 50:11 had for us if heaven is going to be our home, 50:13 I said God I need some changes. 50:20 We have to love our fellow man. 50:24 I love serving a savior that 50:26 can speak to the water 50:28 and the water obeys, 50:30 he can speak to animals and they obey, 50:32 he speak to universe and it obeys, 50:34 the only ones who disobey is some human beings 50:36 here on this planet, we're the problem, 50:39 he is soon to correct that by the way. Amen. 50:42 I want to go home how about you? Amen. 50:44 I want to spend eternity with Jesus, 50:46 so I believe with all my heart today, 50:48 the few moments that we have left, 50:50 I want you to think with me. 50:52 I believe that Jesus is looking for, 50:54 listen to the word, a "Sound Christian," 50:58 we have too many wharfing Christians, 51:00 you know the back and forth, 51:01 every wind of doctrine, 51:03 they're staying over here and over there, 51:04 it's time we get serious with God, 51:06 serious about what is truth. 51:08 God either means what he says or he doesn't. 51:10 When we gave the Three Angels message, 51:12 you give all three messages 51:13 you don't stop short with two. Amen. 51:17 Because you are called for this work, 51:19 you've been chosen for this work, 51:21 and yes some people will get angry with you, 51:23 yes the world will get angry with you, 51:25 they got angry with Jesus Christ 51:27 did they're not. Amen. 51:29 But they continued on 51:31 and we must continue on with our calling. 51:33 Amen. Make sure dear friends. 51:37 God is looking today for "Sound Christians," 51:39 in fact in the book of Acts chapter 3:16 it says 51:42 he is looking for a, listen to this word, 51:43 he is looking for a perfect soundness, 51:49 see as Christians we need to start again serious 51:51 about our church attendance. Amen. 51:56 We need to get, we need to get real serious 51:58 about our relationship with Jesus Christ. 52:03 We need to get real serious and 52:04 make those decisions right now 52:06 if we think that we can be you know 52:09 half the world and half of Heaven 52:11 we need to think again. 52:14 Jesus said, he who is not with me he is against me, 52:17 and so you have to make decisions for eternity 52:20 and we need to be making them right 52:22 where probation's door is still open. 52:24 I've been impressed over and over 52:26 that probation's door just barely cracked right now 52:28 if somebody is still with me, it's barely crack, 52:30 once it goes like that that's it 52:32 not another person will come to Jesus 52:34 and some of you been fooling around too long, 52:36 maybe no one here, 52:38 but many have sound the voice that were hear, 52:39 watch whatever it might be. 52:41 They've been fooling around calling 52:42 themselves a Christian and 52:43 they're not even half converted, 52:45 a half converted person is a good 52:47 tool in the hand of the Devil, 52:48 did you know that. Lukewarm Christian 52:50 is the best right tool that the devil has, 52:52 so no lukewarmness here, isn't that right on fire 52:55 for Jesus. Amen. 52:56 We don't want to be spewed out of his mouth, 52:58 but he is looking for somebody that's going to be 52:59 sound by the way and I want our prayer to be. 53:03 In the book of Psalms 119:80, 53:05 he says it like this, 53:07 "Lord let my Heart be sound." Amen. 53:11 That's awesome simple, but awesome. Lord, 53:13 let my, come on help me what? 53:15 Let my heart be what? Sound. Let be sound, 53:18 because he says I'm looking for perfect soundness, 53:21 I'm looking for a people that will not be moved. 53:24 Amen. He said I'm the rock, 53:28 you are the light of the world, isn't that right. 53:30 I'm looking for people that will not be moved, 53:32 though all of demons of hell come against us. 53:36 I'm greater he says, I have more power. 53:42 God's looking for people, in the last days 53:43 that have a sound doctrine. Amen. 53:47 Many people are distorting the beautiful 53:50 truths of God's word. 53:52 They're going out in North forty, 53:54 they're varying off from what is truth, 53:56 they're confusing the minds and friend, 53:58 we don't need to be confused right now. 54:00 We may not understand all of the teachings, 54:02 all of the doctrine, but dear friends 54:03 I was blind but now I see. Amen. 54:06 That's the change we have to have. 54:09 I'm a changed individual because of Jesus Christ, 54:11 he's changing me everyday, 54:12 praise God for that. 54:16 I'm praying everyday that God gives sound 54:18 words found in the book of Second Timothy 1:13, 54:21 Lord, I need to have sound words, 54:23 not critical words, 54:25 not tearing other people apart, 54:26 tearing people down, criticizing or condemning, 54:28 but building up the calls of Christ. 54:31 I need to be a positive in this cause. 54:35 We have to have the love of Jesus. 54:39 Sound doctrine, sound minds, oh friend, 54:42 how we need sound minds? 54:44 The devil's throwing everything at us, 54:46 he can throw, would you believe it? No. 54:52 God expects this movement to be successful, 54:55 it's gonna to be gloriously successful by the way, 54:58 you can be involved or not dear friends. 55:01 God's people need to be wide awake right now 55:04 in a few moments that we have left 55:05 I want you to think with me, 55:06 we've got to get serious with God, 55:07 he wants us to be wide awake right now. 55:11 Heaven right now is waiting to bestow 55:12 what needs to be bestowed upon us. Amen. 55:24 There maybe some here today that you say you know 55:26 I've not been serious as I need to be with God 55:30 and I want to invite those who are listening, 55:31 those who are viewing, whatever it might be 55:32 around the world today, those who are here. 55:37 Some time we're never challenged the way 55:39 we ought to be challenged. 55:40 Today I'm gonna to challenge you by God's word, 55:45 there maybe some changes, you know some of you 55:46 been procrastinating, you've been just talking 55:48 about really getting in there and following Jesus, 55:53 but maybe you haven't done that, 55:54 but you want to do it today. 55:55 Why not do it now in closing minute or so 55:56 we have left that you're gonna to say 55:57 you know what I need to get serious with God. 55:59 Probation is closing, Jesus is coming 56:02 and oh how I want to be a part. 56:03 I don't want to miss, I have that hope of eternal life. 56:07 If I've missed it, I've missed everything, 56:08 there is only one purpose for any of us 56:10 being here is to repopulate heaven, 56:12 do you agree? 56:13 That's the only reason for us to be here, 56:14 I don't want to miss that, 56:17 there is somebody here today say 56:18 I need to be get more serious 56:19 than I've even been with God, 56:20 just don't sit where you're at, 56:22 why don't you just come right on up here, 56:24 surely we have a minute or two 56:25 that we can do that in between. 56:26 Come on, just, come come come quickly, 56:28 lets not hesitate, because see time is running out. 56:32 Don't come up because somebody else is, 56:33 don't come up because well, 56:34 don't worry what the husband is going to say, 56:36 what the wife is going to say, 56:37 what mom and dad might say, 56:39 it doesn't make any difference, 56:40 you're gonna to get serious with God, 56:41 you're gonna to do it right now. 56:42 This is what home coming is about, 56:43 this is what camp meeting is about yeah, 56:45 it's recommitting our life to Jesus Christ 56:48 to say I'm gonna to get serious with God, 56:50 like never before I want God to use me like 56:52 he's never used me before. 56:53 Oh how I need him in my life, 56:55 how I need that power. Amen. 56:59 That he can help us to witness 57:00 in such a special way. 57:03 Don't hesitate or maybe you can't, 57:04 there's not enough room 57:05 you're gonna to stand where you are, 57:06 there is no one in here, by the way I'm gonna be frank, 57:09 I'm gonna be really honest with you, 57:10 alright with you friends. 57:11 Everybody should be standing, 57:12 there is nobody in here. 57:13 You want to go to heaven, 57:14 you're gonna have to take your stand for Jesus Christ. 57:16 Amen.
