that this entire book

the life of one man.

And the fact is
we really never know

what the future
holds, we just go forwarded

expectations of great things,

with the tentativeness

we are to have a plan in place.

salvation when trials come.

at the resume of a man

who God's saw fit to
dedicate an entire book

to just this man's trials.

And I would suggest
you we can learn a lot

from the way that
Job walked with God

through his difficult times.

Beginning with Job chapter 1 and

we are going
look at verse 1 to 3,

let's look at his resume.

You know, when
we want to get a Job

we boast our resume.

But, what I like
about Job's resume is God

has his hand in Job's resume,

because what is
written in the Bible is not

what Job wants us to know,

but what God wants
us to know about Job.

mean go further on that.

The Bible says about Job.
Look at this man's resume,

there was a man
in the Land of Uz,

not the land of
us, this was real,

whose name was Job;
and that man was blameless

and upright. You know,

when God can call you
blameless and upright,

that's praise the Lord,
00:15:04.36\00:15:05.50
and one who feared
God and shunned evil.

Look at his
possessions and seven sons

and three
daughters were born to him.

You need God when
you have 10 children.

Bible tells us
that Job would wake up

early in the morning
and pray for his children

and even offer to God sacrifices

for their sin before they sin.

When you have 10
children you need kneepads.

As one writer said you
send knee mails to God,

not email. Also in verse 3,

his possessions were
seven thousand sheep,

three thousand camels,
five hundred yoke of oxen,

five hundred female donkeys,
00:16:06.83\00:16:10.60
and a very large household,

so that this man was the,

what's the next word? Greatest.

Greatest of all
the people of the East.

Notice the Bible
didn't say he was the greatest

of all the people of the earth

and the reason for
that there is always

somebody can do
it better then you.

Don't ever think
yourself to be the greatest.

Whatever you do as somebody

but there is
always somebody that God

when you think that you
are better then anybody else.

So, as far as the
East was concerned,

Job was the greatest of
all the people of the East.

Solomon was from the East.

The wise men were from the East.

But, what these
tells me is that trials

are not cancelled
because of our possessions.

Trials don't
care about your fame.

Trials don't take into
account your popularity

or your wealth, or your fortune.

None of those things exempt us

from the trials of life.

But, on the
contrary I would suggest

you the more you
have the more trials

you are going to have.

My wife and I got
our, and I think the Lord

But, things are turning around

my faith in that,

one of the pitfalls

breeze than anybody else.

And sometimes the wind

know that God knows

how much we can bend
and God always keeps us
