time, I also received a very

sobering text
message this morning.

A little bit before 6 a.
m. it was about a young man

who is not here, but some
of his fellow young people

are here from his church.

He was watching this
new movie that has come out,
00:06:29.43\00:06:33.76
'Paranormal Activity' as
a result of this he started
00:06:33.76\00:06:38.03
having manifestations
of demonic possession.
00:06:38.03\00:06:40.70
The young people texted
me and said, can you pray
00:06:40.70\00:06:44.63
for him, so immediately
I responded and it's done.
00:06:44.63\00:06:48.50
So for two hours, 21/2 to
three hours they are praying
00:06:48.50\00:06:52.50
with him, the Pastor was
there, they are calling anyone
00:06:52.50\00:06:56.43
they can in hallway to
come, they are singing hymns.
00:06:56.43\00:06:59.30
I can probably imagine for
them it was very eye opening
00:06:59.30\00:07:03.00
shattering type of experience.
00:07:03.00\00:07:07.06
So I told them I would
allow us to say a word of prayer

for this young
man, is that okay?

But before we do that I
want to go on record saying that

there are people, sometimes,
who think that watching

such films and
partaking in certain kinds of

experiences is no big deal.

Sometimes it is sad that
it takes a young man to become

demonically
possessed for us to come to an
00:07:37.90\00:07:40.86
understanding that we
should be avoiding these things

in the first place.

Young people don't
let it get that far.

Why do I have to
give up this music?

Why do I have to
put aside these movies?

You are playing on
the devil's ground.

But there are some
among us you may call liberal,

Heavenly Father, we would
like to thank You for the gift

you decided to give us life.

gathering us here this morning,

Your Holy Spirit, You would

that You would enlighten

that we may be able to perceive

that we may learn more of His

young soul, Mark, you know why

the devil has sought to
torment his life, and You of all

that You created him for.

hands, lifting him up at this

may have victory in his soul.

allow the demon to be cast

out to find his home
swept, garnished, and empty.

Jesus to abide in his own life.

victory Lord, may he not keep

such a tragic loss of, not just

It seems as if life,
is a continual story,

Have you ever had a dream,
I had to confess I even had

unashamed conference.

After opening night I said
Lord give me an opportunity,

stage, so life will continue

But on a more serious note,
when I was a child the thing

I loved the most was football.

walk, that is all I wanted

to do was to play football.

And living in inner-city
Chicago, I was this little kid,

probably about 5-6 years
old, but apparently I was

really fast so I
would always ask my mom if

I could play football.

I was playing
with high school kids.

Here I am this little
first grader on this field,

and back in Chicago we
don't play football like you

see on TV, there are no rules.

We play pile up tackle football.

And so what this means is

all it is, is someone throws

I went, even in college I
had a boom box that I kept

when I would leave class

we would have the
boom box, doing our little

rap sessions on campus.

This was my life, this
was my dream, but there was

something wrong with the dream.

So life continue to be a
story of unfulfilled dreams.

But even more so,
sometimes it's the dreamer.

God told David yes, it
was within your heart to build

can build the house David.

The problem is not the dream.
The problem is the dreamer.

I remember talking to a
young lady's mom once, and she

to be in a music Ministry.

Her mother works
at an accounting firm,

and life continues to be a
story of unfulfilled dreams.

I think about a story
I heard about the Rwandan
